Roo may be overreacting but she is right, it could be dodgy - $30,000 is a ton of wonga. I know she is going the wrong way about it but that is Roo. John had done his homework which is typically John, to make sure the Surf Club's rules on how the club is run and what happens to any monies given/donated and how it should be spent are being followed. Speaking of whom, the committee, it appears did have enough members for that emergency meeting John called. I missed that bit about it being called sponsorship money but it was a donation wasn't it, which normally would be a one-off? Henderson was a regular sponsor too. Oh and Irene has reappeared, no mention that she had been anywhere. just making it look like she'd not been on shift at the Diner since the last time we saw her. Mac really hasn't had much luck with her love life has she - her first romance in the bay with Colby didn't go without a hitch, Belle and Dean not liking them being together. Same with Ari, him being an ex con, her brief flirtation with Tane, then Mia reappearing, and being dumped by him, finding she'd lost the baby was having by him. Then her picking up several random guys one of whom turned out to be Emmett Ellison, Bella's mentor, they did have a brief relationship but it finished when he went to the States. Then there was Logan and most recently Gabe. Oh yes the old 'getting it out of our system' reason for sleeping together. Same as a secret/forbidden kiss - followed by "This will never happen again". This one does have disaster written all over it as someone will be getting hurt. She did do well by resisting calling him all that night, but then went to see him to say goodbye. All that stress can't be doing her heart much good - health wise that is. It did look like Levi was going back to the city but if he is going to be a regular guess something changes so he stays. This has to signal we'll be seeing Imogen at some point. Mali did suddenly go off the idea of Rose being senior constable pretty quickly. Was it because she wasn't there to cook his tea for him - only joking. She could hardly knock off early on her first day. Many women have had that problem in the past when their hubbies/fiances/ boyfriends have to stay at work because of having to finish up paperwork etc. now the flip flop is on the other foot. A cops' work isn't always 9-5 or whatever their shift is. There are more staff than just Xander at Salt then, I saw about five, did that include the chef? At least Flick's speech/boost to them didn't drag on too long, she was very enthusiastic. Xander has got a new job too getting more customers in like running events similar to the Fund Raising, but the one for the Surf Club committee meeting didn't meet Flick's idea of fun. But a Fund Raising Event wouldn't be an everyday thing and the committee are their landlords and they could pass on the word that Salt would be a good place to hold any events they have planned. Quietly dropped in Tane had left for NZ.

Never mind it being bad for Mac's health sleeping with Levi how about her getting all het up, ranting and raving to Mali about the fact Levi was married that wouldn't have been very good for her. Besides she and Levi could have very gentle sex with no need to be swinging from the lampshade. Him not mentioning he was married why would and when would he have, just after her op "Oh I'm Dr. Fowler, I've just done a life saving op on you and I'm married in case you're wondering". When they were having their little chats, the non date when he escorted her to the Fun Raiser, maybe when she kissed him. He isn't/wasn't a permanent member of staff so no-one would ask or need to. Bree kept the fact she was married quiet for a while and she didn't wear a ring either which Mac seemed to think that Levi not wearing one was some sort of crime. Though I can see Eden being rather miffed, to put it mildly, to find out she has a sister-in-law. That was pretty uncaring of him taking the call from his wife then going into the bathroom to talk to her leaving Mac just lying there. Mac has now to decide if she wants to keep seeing him and be the other woman. She did tell Mali her mum had been cheated on so she didn't want to put Levi's wife through the same pain, but seems she's having second thoughts Tane's gone back to NZ, he's only just come back hasn't he? Never mind not telling Harper he'd gone again what about the rest of his classes and clients/staff? Me lady did seem to protest too much didn't she? Justin, whatever happened to giving Leah space! Going to the Diner on the off chance she'd be there, no Maz either it seemed. Theo has been very patient and put Justin in his place when Theo said he'd done his assignment and sent it in. Okey dokey, this anonymous donation, it's not a couple of hundred $'s is it? Alf and John may be well content to accept it, but Roo being new - sorry - as secretary I feel is right to suspect it. If it is dodgy they will have to pay it back won't they and it wouldn't help their rep much would it? Odd how has suddenly dropped out of his Bronze Medallion classes, has he nicked his dad's money and done a runner? Or, and this is a way out there thought, could Alf be the anonymous donor? He was very against Roo wanting to take it further and he's shot off to see Martha.

Mac did shut Mali down about his comments but lo and behold Levi resurfaces even though he's not her doctor anymore so he can't use the excuse he's checking up on an ex patient. Very neatly done by Mac asking Mali and Tane to find somewhere to stay for the night as she um wanted to be alone. OK, let's give Levi some, if only small credit, he didn't take the next step by sleeping with Mac that night but ducked out and came creeping back the next day and fessed up he's married so now it's now her decision. He didn't give the usual excuse that they were having problems, in fact he said he still loved his wife. Now, if Mac agrees to be with him what excuse will he make to his wife now Mac is no longer his patient? On that subject Levi is a heart doctor so would be in the best position to say if Mac is fit enough for sex or not. She did only pop into Salt to do the rosters which would hardly be a great strain on her heart, besides she needs to keep her brain active, just lying around doing nothing would be worse for her as it would stress her out. Felicity did read more into her and Tane's encounter so him suddenly backing off and away it seems - would confuse her, but give her due she didn't lose it like she would have done before now. It was kind of frosty at the meeting though Flick saw it differently. I do love Alf, but I don't think there is any choice but to up the rental charges for Salt, the gym and the small areas John and Mali use despite his arguments they've stayed the same for years so why should they have to go up. The locals would understand as long as they don't go sky high. Hope Flick talks to Mac about the hike in rental costs which she and Tane make a knee jerk yes to it. Convenient that the donation was $30,000, but how, if you're right Red, would Banjo get his hands on that much money, nick it from his dad? Btw how did Tane get into the now Flick & Cash house and was sitting at the table when Flick come back?

I only correct people when they spell people's names wrong. That was a very oops moment, Felicity was very restrained after overhearing what she did, placed their cups down very gently and said let me know want you want to eat when you're ready. Harper didn't have to explain anything to Flick but maybe she felt she ought to, it wasn't the kiss in itself that upset Felicity but when it happened, the day after the Fund Raiser when her and Tane seemed on better terms. I suppose it must have been awkward for Tane telling his family about him and Felicity breaking up as family means a lot to them. That was unexpected with what happened between Tane and Flick, is she going to read more into it than there was? He's sending very mixed messages. It is debatable if Kirby should have told Remi about Bree's dad when it was Bree's private business, but Remi is being very well looked after and her mum will need her there. Bree would feel terrible if he died and she wasn't there and Remi would feel guilty if he felt Bree was putting him before her dad. Btw have Remi's parents been told as no mention of them, no calls, no visit. On the subject of patients in hospital is it an in built instinct of us or anyone when they are visiting to ask "How are you/how are you feeling?" What are the patients meant to say? It's the same as when someone falls over, the first question we tend to ask is "Are you OK?" Well done there Alf for putting Maz in her place, even he can see Leah and Justin need their own time to work it out. It was spontaneous Justin calling round the way he did and luckily it went OK apparently. Still no Irene then as Alf was helping Marilyn put chairs on tables. It appeared Alf didn't know about Roo's scheme to get new sponsors.

I thought Cash had decided not to give up being a cop but the way he was talking it seems he has decided to. Will that mean Rose will be the only cop at Yabbie Creek we actually see solving crimes? The others just drift about, not counting the invisible sarge. Funny how a lot of cops, usually retired, go into the security business, but they can turn out to be very dodgy. Perhaps a future storyline coming up? It looked like Remi isn't coping as well as he was trying to kid people he was, the pain is still bothering him so not as quick a recovery as people on here and other sites were thinking. I'm guessing Bree isn't treating Remi as her patient but just as his carer? At least she's now wearing scrubs. I think we heard about Bree's parents when we first met her, they supported her when she was young, but hardly a mention since she's been with Remi. Not sure if they really approve of him as they did think a lot of Jacob. Her dad's accident sounded pretty bad, head injury, and she must be torn about whether to go or stay with Remi, he'd definitely want her to go. I'm glad she told Eden about it and Eden, not that is any of her business, kept quite about her not telling Remi about her dad and said she was staying with him. Ah yes Valerie - Leah's roomie - don't suppose there was much chance of going out boogyng at the clinic. Could be all sorts of reasons people are admitted to this clinic, drugs, depression, suicidal thoughts. She had been there a while but did give Leah some good advice about letting Justin in just a little bit which happened at the tea at Alf's, how handy was that and Justin rocking up with her gear, plenty of folk there so she and he weren't alone. I did notice Maz was giving Valerie some odd looks and was eavesdropping into her and Lea's conversation. That was an odd talk between her and Justin at the garage, didn't really resolve anything apart for agreeing to leave Theo out of their problem. He did have a flash of temper knocking the tool box on the floor. Good shape for her age indeed, would you say that about a bloke? I do most humbly apologise for spelling brekkie wrong.

I knew it was a knee jerk reaction on Cash's part about chucking in his job, he just needed to think again, Rose didn't want him to quit. With Xander if was a different reason why he quit. Rose is a good cop but it is going to awkward, when Cash returns to work, which of course he is, as Rose will now effectively be his boss. Would his reduction in rank mean he'll have his wages cut? Rose shouldn't blame herself about not getting anywhere with Simon Henderson he's probably well practised in devious deals. No-one can prove he was giving his friends 'gifts' or bribes, they not going to say anything to the contrary are they? Oddly enough there is a drama on Channel5 this week whose main character is called Simon Henderson! I really felt for Theo trapped in between Justin and Leah they were as bad as each other. Justin giving Theo the third degree on what Leah said, how was she, did she ask about me each time. Personally I couldn't see any problem with Theo picking up burgers from the Diner, Leah wasn't meant to be there. Then what really riled me was her asking Theo to collect some more of her gear to take to Alf's! Maz may have stuck her nose in and she didn't actually hear what Theo was saying to Eden but she was right to tell Leah about how it was affecting Theo. Besides wouldn't it have been better for Maz to get some more clothes for Leah rather than embarrass Theo rummaging around Leah's drawers/wardrobe. I glad Theo told Justin how it was making him feel and the position it was putting him in, then he told Leah no he wouldn't be collecting her stuff. Talking of whom he's back to doing his TAFE course and working in the garage. Mali is only looking out for Mac, Dean would be doing the same and as been said they feel like family and that is what family do. No need to worry about the fried breccie nobody eats anything that's put in front of them. No sign of Irene in the Diner.

Not really a lot Rose could do about Simon Henderson, there is only the alleged payments, but his withdrawing his sponsorship did come very quickly after that. Would the other sponsors be able to cough up more, how many are there? OK Kirby wants to get Remi's bike out of the pound and she wants to get it repaired what then? Bree may not want him ever to get on it again but he's an adult but supposing he never wants to ride it again. Odd how some characters suddenly disappear with no explanation, one in one out. Maz did just leave to go and see Leah that day without saying anything to the staff, where they supposed to cash up and leave at the end of the day. Liked the banter between Xander and Felicity about Matteo and he did deserve Flick's apology. Glad Flick did back off ringing Mattteo, deciding for herself she wasn't ready, though of course he may come back and make a play for her. Well in effect Felicity is Xander's boss as is Mac so a fine line being that matey with your staff. Eden can be very tiresome at times but it is obvious she really loves Cash and is there for him as he is for her. Flick got filled in about Cash's situation and the decision of the panel. It would be a blow for him being demoted and on restricted duties, has he had his pay reduced that would be a real bummer. Knee jerk reaction on his part I'm thinking. Have read something about Rose which could be awkward for them both.

Mali had exactly the same thought I did about Mac and her interest in Levi. I liked the girls date out and was very glad Mac stayed off the booze, though both Flick and Eden were driving so how many did they have and still be safe to drive back? They had a good chat about everything, Eden saying her union with Levi was still very new, Flick telling them her split from Tane was still a bit raw but she was getting through it. Obviously Eden wouldn't know anything about Levi's life seeing as they have been estranged so long and all she knows he's a busy doctor in the city. Yep Eden far too early for Felicity to get involved with anyone even if casually so definitely don't go contacting that guy who left that message and his number on the beer mat, I'd be very wary. A complete random thought though how dry was that grass around the farmhouse, it looked very parched. A passing reminder Cash was having his disciplinary hearing that day. I must admit I was surprised to see Banjo at the life savers class, guess he joined up when they resumed and he did see to be doing well and mixes well with the others, especially Dana. I think John's praise was genuine, not much point trying to suck up to daddy is there? John did say and pointedly dropped in the fact the sessions had been held back for reasons beyond his control. Dana, of course, just had to be in the right place at the right time to hear what she did. Did Banjo tell her what he did about his dad giving money to that committee member in confidence? Anyways, Rose, the only cop at Yabbie Creek, is on it and more has been found out, more committee members have been paid off to leave the club. Two theories pop into my mind, Henderson wants to get rid of the old school and bring in his own people to run things or he's not as well off as he's been making out so wants the club to fold as he can't afford to be their major sponsor any more. John told Alf he'd step down if it would solve the problem but Alf said it would be over his dead body which was good. Oh and we saw Roo!

They are both attractive people but Levi must have come across many lovely women in his career, so why Mac, what is different about her? There is a such a thing as transference when a patient falls 'in love' with their doctor/nurse as they have been looking after them so caringly, especially if they haven't got a partner/boyfriend/girlfriend, so is that is what Mac is feeling. Levi must have come across that before too so wouldn't he recognise the signs? It did seem odd/strange she wouldn't leave the hospital until she got the all clear from him personally. I did like the fact Mali wouldn't leave while Mac and Levi were saying goodbye, maybe even then he was having odd feelings about them. I did notice Levi didn't tell Xander who the patient he got the call from was. OK technically and legally Mac isn't his patient anymore so why the house call? Is snogging your ex patient a new and recommended form of after care no-one has heard about before? I'll sign up for it if the doctor can be as good looking as Levi. They were both so 'busy' they didn't hear Mali come in and catch them, but did jump apart later when he came in the back way and tried unsuccessfully to explain it away. I loved how Mali was being Mac's guard dog and yes I know she's an adult but she's vulnerable right now, it's not just the physical side of having an op like hers, it would affect you emotionally too so he's just looking out for her and acting as a 'brother' would. Bet your bottom A$ Dean would. I have read who this Imogen could be but as I'm not into spoilers I'm not saying. Leah is going through what Charity is going through or should I say Charity is going through what Leah is going through seeing as these episodes were shown last year and we are only seeing it now the same time Charity is going through her PTSD, confused.com. Leah rushing upstairs and refusing to come down down until Maz and Alf came home so she wouldn't be alone with him certainly shocked Justin. I think she feels it's safer for him if others are about but I'm no psychologist. He must have been a tad confused when Leah later rocked up at Salt and wanted to talk to him. I think she finally got through to him it's got to be her fixing it alone no matter how long it takes. Oh we did see Justina and Harper meet for the first time, I guess we take it for granted that just because the bay is a small place everyone has met everyone else. Just happened to be tagged on at the end more trouble at mill. A quorum can be, as the name suggests, as little as four but can be seven to be a classed a majority. Banjo has we saw made a reappearance then. I suppose if one/two/three have gone they would need to recruit more but who would they get?
-
No sign of Roo again last night with Alf saying she was held up working with the committee At least Leah explained why she felt she couldn't see Justin as she feels guilty about wanting to harm him, don't fret love at least you didn't stab him unlike Charity who did stab Mack. Justin did come across as being hurt at Leah wanting to see Theo but not him and of course Justin, being Justin, couldn't/wouldn't stay away. I'm glad Leah put Theo's mind at rest about him getting Bree to help. Leah, obviously still has a lot to work through before she can feel she can trust herself. I wonder if in some deep part of her mind she blames Justin for what happened because he did bring Vita Nova into their lives through Andrew. As Alf said, Leah didn't ask him about keeping quiet. That was funny Maz being sent out of the room. Bree is becoming very possessive about who can and can't visit Remi and obsessive with her cleaning everything, at least she didn't spray Kirby down with disinfectant. That said, has she had a change of clothes, washed since she's been caring for him as that can't be very hygienic. I had the mad idea, she would have wiped down those magazines and those chocolates if she could have. Someone definitely needs to speak to her. Remi is going to find it oppressive when he feels more himself. Harper and Tane did seem a fill in.
-
Tane hasn't many if indeed any male friends apart from Cash, he talks to Xander, Justin and Mali but I'd hardly say they were mates. On another couple of sites Harper isn't the most popular of people and has been suggested she's virtually stalking Tane. I know nearly every time we see him she's there but he did ask her advice about things and she is his pupil/client. Rebound sex is not good for either party. I did say may well fancy him, but her disappointment in him cancelling their classes did seem more than losing a friendship. Tane's other ladies were just a one night stand and Felicity likely wouldn't have know them but Harper is another matter. Seems Leah is returning 'home'. Not Justin's but her old one. I know Marilyn did ask Alf and I'm guessing Roo will be if not already if it was OK but Alf would have seemed a right old grouch if he had said no. I got the feeling he wasn't happy about not telling Justin as requested by Leah, but what if it was the other way around, Justin was staying there and he didn't want Leah to know. Justin and Theo seemed to take it well and accept Leah's terms but we all know Justin and how he thinks he knows best, he and Leah both do that at times, so naturally he turns up at the Stewart house. I caught that very brief reference to Roo, seemingly she's still talking to the other committee members. I've always liked Bree and yes it is going against the tide and I like her and Remi together. We saw in the flashback Levi say the same thing I did would she have been so against the procedure if he hadn't been her boyfriend. The pain Remi's in now is part of the post op after effects, I think that is what Levi said. Eden not being a medic wouldn't have a clue if what Levi had done and more importantly I think where he did would be that concerned but Bree being one would have more of an idea. An operating theatre would have been more sanitary and safer but Levi was balancing it against Remi's condition and how long it would have taken to get him there so no sure answer. She is getting totally obsessive with him, again echo's of Leah and Justin, not listening to anyone, refusing to go and sleep, have a wash, not wanting anyone else there. Now this total overreaction about cleanliness wiping everything down, amazed she didn't wash Remi's face mask down, didn't have to pop the balloon, could have taken it outside, wiped it down. She saw what Leah went through yet can't see it in herself.
-
I didn't hear anyone say why Roo wasn't there so glad it wasn't just me who thought they had missed something. Have we missed Alf going to see Martha? We did see in the re-run Felicity seeing Tane talking to Harper, which was totally innocent, which is why she left. Tane's persistence did pay off and he and Flick had a proper talk which was both beautiful and sad. He finally admitted he was wrong to mislead/lie to her about being OK about not wanting children. His saying although they both loved and cared for each other their lives were on different paths. Sad too Felicity putting the Wedding photo away and taking off her Wedding and Engagement rings and carefully wrapping them up and putting them away. Harper can certainly come across as being nosey, but Tane did totally misread her concern for him by moving in for that kiss. She may well fancy him but knows it's far too early for him to be interested in anyone else. When we saw Justin writing that letter to Leah I had no idea he'd ask Marilyn to sneak it in with hers, damn sure that isn't what Alf meant when he suggested it. Maz was very conflicted but to Leah it could have looked like she was being tricked. Maybe Justin didn't want to contact them again after yelling at them last time, he could have just as Alf said give Maz the letter to give Leah openly. Bree was pretty obsessive about Remi, echoes of Leah there, but liked she did let Kirby stay and that song she sang to Remi was lovely, very haunting, I'm guessing it was an Aboriginal song? We did hear it faintly when Tane and Felicity were talking. He did come round and seemed OK at least he doesn't appear to be paralysed in anyway, then he started to have these chest pains, but throwing a wobbly wasn't a good idea. That's the problem with being a medical person when someone you care about is in pain and you can't help when you feel can but can't because of it being unethical. Her having a go at that poor guy was so not right. Kirby and Theo didn't forget about asking Eden to join them she was recovering from her kidnap ordeal so would have been in no fit state to perform in front of a crowd.
-
Levi must have very persuasive qualities, he did get Mac there. I did laugh at him reading that mag about Wonderful Homes. It has been mentioned on other posts about where her heart op scars where. Her pj's would have hidden them but that dress was quite low and you couldn't see any. That speech of his did tend to be very Mac focused. I know it's wrong to assume someone who can't speak for themselves would want people to do certain things, but I think Theo and Kirby were right about Remi definitely wanting them to perform as Lyrik. Natch Eden would have been in no fit state and Cash would have been with her. I'm guessing like Rose who was on duty at the cop shop Dana was on duty at the hospital. I did notice one notable absence - where was Roo? John losing Gina was a long time ago so that is a bit of a mystery. Perhaps he meant Remi, Bree, Eden and Cash. Xander it has to be said did a great job and Mac rightly thanked him for all his efforts. A lovely hug between Flick and Max. All the guys scrubbed up very well. Did I hear they had raised A$8000 which is petty good seeing how quickly it was arranged and set up. Felicity looked stunning and took Tane's breath away, she took his compliment very well but did back off him taking her arm. I feel he has been giving her mixed messages, one moment not wanting to get close but then looking at her the way he was. He did get a kick back when Felicity said she was moving on when he followed her back to Salt. I thought that no-one was supposed to contact Leah either by phone or letter for at least a fortnight which is probably why Justin was so shocked to hear from Maz that she had had a letter back from her. He did go though that with Brody when he was in rehab. I guess whoever it is can write a good old fashioned letter, you know in ink on paper and send it off to wherever it is and the patient/resident has a choice of reading it or not. It was no good Justin getting his undies in an uproar by ringing them and demanding to speak to Leah so good for Alf making that very helpful suggestion. Ah yes that kiss, he did take his time pulling away, let's hope Mac didn't read more into than there was, though he looked pretty pensive when he left her room.

I don't think it was Stockholm Syndrome with Eden it was only a day but she recognised Micky was the more sympathetic of the two. It happens like that doesn't it, but of course Levi would have no way of knowing Eden and Remi had been kidnapped, he only knew Remi had been found lying on the road. Rather touching that as soon as he found out he went to see her despite the way she has been talking to and treating him. OK first time round it didn't go well but after Cash and Eden's talk Cash called him to come back and he and Eden actually talked, did like Cash's comments about the fact they were both still alive. Levi and Eden may never be as close as they were but at least they have kind of reconciled. Her collapse did, apparently, did turn out to her just running out of adrenaline. Your mention Red of Levi now being a regular will that mean he'll being giving up his position as top doc at the city hospital? What is it with ND's that attracts so many prominent surgeons etc? That was telling about Mac's remark about it not being about her and she was being paraded, but as she is the one they know and like so may show others if it can happen to Mac it can happen to anyone. Xander did well persuading Levi to talk about the condition in place of Bree, no disrespect to her btw, he would know more about it anyway. Obviously Levi did persuade her to leave the safety of the hospital and I loved her long red dress, it really suited her and she's got the height to carry it off. It was a neat little drop in of her other half siblings. No mention of dad though who we know was also a cheat. We saw it, but isn't it unethical for Levi to be snogging his patient? Amazing what can be put together in such short time when you need to. Xander's main worry was lack of music due to Lyrik not being able to perform, but it seems Theo has an idea. John was being back to the John we know and love, trying to get out of paying full price for the tickets.
-
OK yes it was a shock for Bree seeing Remi being brought it and her initial examination of him didn't look like he was doing very well at all. But, and how Levi got to hear about it was a mystery, but whether or not he was right to jump in and do that emergency surgery right there and then, he was right in effectively kicking Bree out. She was in absolutely not in the right state of mind to treat him. Would she have had the same reaction if it hadn't been Remi? Of course at the moment we won't know the full extent of Remi's injuries are until he comes round, did anyone mention any spinal damage? Levi got it from both sides with Eden having a right go at him after being filled in by Bree with her, maybe prejudiced, opinion of what he did. Do Kirby, Kirby and Justin know yet and will Remi's mum and dad be informed? Yep I know it was Cash that went to the hospital not Tane. He wasn't wearing his cops head when he got the news the team were shutting down for the night, of course it would be the case, they could be putting themselves in danger wandering about in the dark, but he was wearing his boyfriends head. Good spot him seeing that bracelet as no-one else would know whose it was. Good old fashioned police work there from Rose going back to the garage they had passed, may have been a long shot but it paid off and has been said just in time. I'm guessing Rose let the rescue team know. Eden put one hell of a fight, Wes was a big guy and to his credit Mickey did try and keep Wes off her. Hopefully her collapse will just be an after effect from her ordeal, she'd been like Leah after her ordeal, running on adrenaline. Will we hear about them again, I'm guessing Mickey will tell all and where the accident was. Quite a switch of character then from counsellor to thug. Just an off the cuff question but why do we never see patients in ND's stay in a proper ward with other people, they are always on their own, with the exclusion of ITU naturally. Levi when speaking to Mac did seem pretty relaxed after what he'd just done. Mali was another one apologising for not taking Mac back into hospital sooner but once again she said it was her decision. She's done a complete u-turn now and doesn't want to leave even for a few hours.
-
I thought that was a good episode, plenty of tension flying about. OK Eden may not be everyone's fav person but to her credit she did talk Wes and Mickey out of dumping Remi's body in the middle of nowhere but try and get him somewhere he could be found so she went up in my estimation. She sussed out Mickey was the easier one to talk around. That was a scare Remi suddenly taking that breath, though him being lugged around like a sack of potatoes won't be helping his injuries any, spinal damage perhaps? Eden recognised Remi needed warmth as he was going into shock which is why she asked for that blanket. Of course now it has left her being threatened with death, but somehow I don't see Wes as a killer, he hit Remi by accident even if he had been drinking. The fact Mickey gave the paramedics Remi's location made me think they're not complete strangers to the area. Eden's clue won't really help much, just let the cops in on the fact they had come into contact with each other. It was good to see Tane and Felicity talking to each other quite civilly and friendly, him offering her to help carry those boxes and her not getting offended that she needed a bloke to help her. Then him straight away saying he'd go with her to help Cash and they put their problems on hold to help him. Felicity came across all through the episode as being the calm and controlled one, quite a role reversal there seeing as it's usually the other way round. She talked Cash down from his panic and got him to think logically and offered to stay with him while Tane went back to the bay when he got the news about Remi being found. Of course not knowing the district at all we wouldn't know if any of the locations are anywhere near each other. To be fair the SES probably have a set procedure for looking for people, there were two groups, one looking in the river, the others going inland, they'd have no idea she had been grabbed although Cash did point out the pit and the tyre tracks which they ignored. He didn't hear the motor the night before did he? Did they not find the torch and loo roll? Sabrina did ask all the right questions, Eden's state of mind, what she was wearing, did she know the area. Even if Eden had had the mad idea of taking off she was hardly dressed for it and had left her phone behind. The seemingly random brief appearance of Bree did make sense later after she kept trying to call him then he was brought in. I was going to say should she be treating him though but of course on H&A they do. The paramedics who brought him said he was a guy in his late 20's was that a random guess or did he have ID on him?

I was getting worried there, hope you had a good time and didn't burnt to a crisp.

Where have you gone Red?

Reading the comments on the Aus thread many people were NOT happy with the finale saying it was a right let down. I thought it was pretty good, the inmates surrounding Colby - what did they expect done under - show Colby being beaten by a load of thugs seeing as it would be shown at, I believe, at 7pm for them? It's even earlier for us. The opening with Lewis attending to him telling the inmates to back off, yelling for help and using the defib was pretty tense. Then we cut to Bella trying to find out why Dean wouldn't got to to see Colby which when he did explain made a lot of sense, he didn't have a good time inside and it would just bring back too many bad memories even as a visitor. I guess that explained the whole flashback of the Colby/Bella/Ross/Willow/Dean story. Quite a coincidence that Jasmine arrived just in time for Colby to be brought in - not.? Protocol being bent again, but then that's the penalty of working in a small town hospital, someone you know will be brought in for treatment and you'll be on duty. The guards were a little OTT as Jasmine (I think) said Colby wasn't in any state to make a break for it. Colby, apart form the blood by his ear and whack on the head, didn't really have a mark on him. Where did Lewis learn how to bend the rules like that? Dean hasn't cut all ties with the RB's then, they were a good distraction without causing too much damage. Christian even played along. Was Dean angling to get involved with the job the Parata's have got themselves landed with? Has he got some sort of plan where he gets nicked for it I was wondering bout a segregation unit in the prison, it must have one, although isolating for Colby it would - hopefully - be safer or am I being simplistic and naive. It would mean though he'd have to spend the whole of his term there. Alf really does have his suspicions about Kieran and not all that unfounded either. He, Kieran, had to talk his way out of the awkward re-meeting with Jasmine in front of Roo and had to restrain himself when Jasmine was trying to get him to make a proper appointment. Would him being a pizza chef make him a proper chef - no offence guys and gals out there who are pizza chefs. Salt does still do pizza's, but he seems obsessed with being a gym manager. Alf did have, another, firm talk with him but has to be clever the way plays it. If Martha does decide to go back to Merimbula with Kieran, she'd be there alone with Kieran where at least while they are in the bay Alf can keep an eye on him. Kieran has won Roo over and Marilyn, perhaps he's found he can charm the ladies better than the men, maybe his dad was like that, Irene hasn't even met him but seems to like him. But then we saw him swigging from a hip flask and I don't think it contained lemonade! Has Ryder been informed he's got a new step uncle or will that be a surprise for when he gets home. Talking of jobs Kieran could do, I may have missed seeing one of course, but I don't remember ever seeing a guy work at The Diner, plenty of ladies flitting about in the background but no blokes.? Skippy was an Australian TV programme. A bit of way out there info - from 2001-2008 Emily Symons played Louise Appleton in Emmerdale but Chas always insisted in calling her Skippy!

Kieran being Alf's son would be a bit been there, done that, different dynamic it him being someone else's son. We'll likely see just how much like his dad he is, though much could be down to seeing the way his dad treated Martha and him while he was growing up and him thinking it was normal. Not unlike Colby growing up with Ross who was also a violent, drunken thug and Colby spent most of his youth protecting his mum and Bella, until they were snatched, difference being for most of his life Colby was the exact opposite. I'm sure there is more to come from Martha about him apart from her being worried about him and Roo being alone together. He didn't like being told no did he and Jasmine was trying hard to be firm but polite. Kieran did seem a bit bemused people knew about him already, get used to it matey. Like you Red I thought It was a relief he had obviously hit an inanimate object rather than another person, something he'd been told in therapy, if he's had any that is. ? Btw Marilyn still calls Alf Mr. Stewart or has he given up on her? ? The guy who attacked Maggie when he, Ziggy and their mates broke into the school was Pete. Robbo did only die in January and they are still in November in Aus time - confused.com. Appears Jasmine's old friend, Lewis, is a nurse who I guess gets a stint at working at the local prison. We know there are people on here who have no time for Colby but to Jasmine he was a good and patient friend who helped her get through Robbo's death, even sticking by her when she threw her hissy fits and told him to go and get lost, he never gave up on her and kept his promise to Robbo to look out for her. Difference with Dean getting it on (twice) and Ziggy getting jiggy - sorry couldn't resist - with Tane is Dean's ladies aren't living in the bay. Tane looked quite down when he saw Ziggy and Dean together. It is sad Ziggy can't get past what Dean was involved with. Let's hope Ziggy doesn't leap straight into a relationship with Tane, I know she's a free agent, but she doesn't need a rebound romance and it would be cruel to rub it in Dean's face the same as it would be if the boot was on the other foot, and she does know how that feels. There seemed to be quite a few montages going on was that just TPTB just wrapping up the last episode? Ziggy musing about her night with Tane, complete with flashbacks, Kieran hitting whatever he hit, Colby getting surrounded by his new 'mates'. Bella falling asleep with Nik on her phone. Tane looking pensive. I'm surprised it's taken this long for the inmates to find out about Colby, even if the screws didn't. In their, the screws, eyes, Colby has let them down, yeah a bad guy got killed but Colby has disgraced the uniform and all they are supposed to stand for, not that them turning a blind eye while he gets a beating makes them any better. From tomorrow we are only three weeks behind Aus time. It's quaintly mentioned in the TV mags a stranger walks into the Diner arousing interest - um isn't anyone who isn't a regular by definition a stranger?

NO! I don't think it was anything Ziggy had planned, she was upset and worried about whether she would still have a job and Tane caught her when she was vulnerable, she did accept he had stood up for her and kept her name out of it. It appeared to me she had regretted her slip by going home without saying anything to Tane. First time, I think, we have seen Tane's room. Ziggy does seem to have a thing for bad boys -Jarrad, Dean and now maybe Tane. The only good guy and by that I mean wasn't into anything really criminal was Brody - but look how that panned out. I know he got into drugs but there was a very good reason for that. Tori does over think things, Christian has decided he wants to 'settle down' and has chosen the bay and Tori to do it in and with. She hasn't asked him to or mentioned she's getting fed up with him going off for days, he's decided. I realise she does have to think of Grace, she wouldn't want too many men coming in and out of her life, but she, Tori, could get involved with another doc at the hospital or indeed another local and they could break up. Christian seems ready for a change in his life, he's done his travelling and wants a place to call his own. From what I understood he isn't based at ND, but goes wherever he and his skills are needed, he just been away for four days. I really liked John and Irene's 'date', they seemed very at ease with each other but I personally wouldn't want them to be a couple, just maybe go out for dinner, lunch as good friends. This on line dating app is just a modern version of old fashioned dating agencies, and before that the card in a shop window! The other person saw a photo of you, you got a list of their likes, dislikes as they did of you but until you actually met you wouldn't know if you would get on with them or vice versa. John mentioned in passing maybe Cynthia had popped into Salt saw what he looked like and left, but John had put up an honest photo of himself so wasn't lying about how he looked. Irene was a lot more polite than I was about her, just called her rude and wasn't worth John fretting himself.

Nephlim14. But isn't that what happened, unless we were watching parallel episodes? Ari told Dean how things were Bella and Mac were both worried about him. Ari left Dean to make up his own mind, which he did and he did come back on his own. We've seen this side of Dean before, he goes off to blow off some steam somewhere, calms down and comes back. Ari wasn't trying to coerce him into anything, just gave him food for thought, he does have a mind of his own, you seem to be implying he was brainwashed. Christian has got one thing spot on Tori does over think things, all her shillying and shallying and it only took a few words between her and Jasmine and it's settled. As long as Tori and Christian aren't too out there with PDA Jas is OK. Before we get into the heavy stuff with Justin and the garage I did smile at his round the houses question to Christian as to when he and Leah could get back to 'normal' relations? or in adult speak having sex, making love - you make your choice. I guess if his scans come back OK and he wasn't thinking of hanging from the light shade or leaping off the wardrobe he'll be fine. Good to see Tane and Ari still pulling together, well most of the time, did they go and check out the place to see how they could get themselves a way round it without always being under Paul's thumb? Be interesting to see what excuse they give Mac when they go to do the job, unless they just slope off without saying anything. The guy who was supposed to be picking up the hot van has really coughed all he knew, but I'm reckoning he didn't know about the drugs as the police were only looking for the stolen goods in it. Tane is a seasoned enough hand to know to make sure nothing was left at the garage even his prints being there wouldn't prove anything. Although Justin is innocent of anything that went on in his absence he is still the owner so responsible for what happened on his property. Did they really need that many cops, also in a couple of TV mags it said 'armed' police again why? Hardly likely bad guy was waiting to pounce on them. Naturally Justin feels let down by Ziggy, not the first time the garage has been caught up in dodgy dealings, he trusted her. Tane really stepped up by going to see Justin and saying it was all him and Ziggy knew nothing, he appears to have got over Mac and now has feelings for Ziggy and by the looks of it and despite her protestations was being swayed by Tane's persuasions.? Ziggy isn't in a relationship but that doesn't mean Dean will not be a happy bunny when he finds out what Tane has got her involved in. Not that I know anything about the criminal world but I would think the guys that took the van off Ziggy's hands knew how to dispose of anything incriminating for their own protection if nothing else. Brief appearance by good old Constable Murray. I guess at some point the bay will get a replacement for Colby.

Ari does have the advantage of seeing Dean in a different situation to any of the others when they were in prison, I chuckled at his "so this is the famous Mangrove River" or something like that. I think it was more in keeping with his character he came back on his own rather than leaving with Ari. Btw Nephlim 14 Bella did stay at the farm until Dean came back even if it was only the one night. Mac gave her the option to go back with her but she opted to stay with Dean in what to her is her home. Her welcome home was very her, nearly knocking him off his feet. Like you Red I think Dean & Bella will be good for each other, Dean may be faking it at the moment as there is a part of him that feels guilty about Colby taking the full rap, but being around Bella will refocus his mind, at least that is how I see it unfolding. Let's hope he has some loyal customers left so the Board Shop doesn't go under, that won't help at all if he hasn't got anything to keep him occupied. Mac was still fretting about whether she should have insisted Bella go back with her but Bella is an adult now. I always knew Ari was a good guy and he has proved that lately. Did smile at Dean opening the fridge and looking in it, don't know why he did because as I said there is never anything in it. Those pots and pans must be as clean as the day the day they were bought as they are hardly used. Nice goodbye between Taylor and Jasmine and the fact Taylor had visited Colby gave Jas some food for thought, yes Colby is a bad guy now but he was always the same old Colby to Jasmine. I hope, more for Taylor than Rosetta that their marriage works, rather a stilted goodbye between Rosetta, Alf and Roo. Btw I think I remember her telling Jasmine she still loved Rosetta, but was feeling neglected by him hence her and Colby happening. Roo knew Irene was hiding something concerning Martha but I didn't see her being sneaky about getting Irene to fess up about it, to me she seemed surprised. Did my ears deceive me or did Martha refer to Kieran as a kid in the trailer?? Why do folks in the bay do that when the person in question is in their 20's. Oh and Paul has been in touch.

Nephlim14 -It wouldn't be a good idea for Bella to stay at the Parata's with all that is going on with Leon and Paul, that is why Ari and Tane sent Nik to stay with Gemma after all. But at least Mac has now persuaded her to stay at the farm. I'd say Bella has a right to act 'bratty', she's lost her only blood family for 25 years and both the others have gone AWOL. The other times Dean has cleared off Bella has had Colby or Willow for company so it's not been as important he stick around as whatever it was didn't immediately affect her. Dean may not have been as close to Bella as Colby and Willow but he did put up the money for her TAF course so does care about her. Ari has seen a side of Dean none of the others have as they weren't inside with him, inmates do tell each other things they wouldn't tell family and friends, so good guess by him to seek him out in Mangrove River. Two random ladies for Dean, wow doesn't hang about does he? Was it just me or did random lady no.1 resemble Willow both in looks and attitude?? Rosetta and Taylor did have a long, meaningful talk and he, if I'm not mistaken, admitted he was partly to blame for her being susceptible to Colby's seduction. He's even gone as far as taking time off work so must be wanting it to work. I may not be a fan of his, but I hope it works as they are going. They obviously did have a good marriage once until the job got in the way, maybe starting with Rosetta getting the wrong man put away so he's been having to prove himself since. Maz may be ditzy at times but this time she was very cool the way she handled this complete stranger who was asking lots of questions about a friend of hers and claiming he knew her very well, he was coming over a bit pushy but she didn't waver. She certainly got a shock when she told Martha about him and Martha revealed who he was, Martha was still being a bit cagey as to Kieran's other 'issues' before he got into drink. Had to smile when Marilyn reappeared and Kieran discovered she lived in the house, is he going to be staying there too or in a van? Alf was being Alf, but more so because it is Martha who is involved. By the look on Kieran's face when she introduced herself it seemed - to me - Martha hadn't told him about Roo. If he is a fairly new recovering alcoholic he would be tense and being on his best behaviour. It does seem to have echoes of Sons & Daughters doesn't it?? Roo now has three, although one is dead, half brothers and one half sister so unless Alf has any other children he didn't know about that should be it. Oh and Ryder has another half uncle.

Agree there Red, Colby's banged up for 25 years so to her it seems like Rosetta is her only option, but she would have known that, he's told her to move on, not the right decision really but if if future he can spend time on and with her she won't be tempted to stray again. Rosetta didn't endear himself to locals this time round, but Alf does owe him for Martha. Irene does tend to do that be on someone's side one moment then turn on them, then back again, she did that a lot with Robbo. Bella was, naturally, going to try and get Colby to appeal but he has accepted his guilt and is wiling to take his punishment, not just the legal one but any other punishment that comes his way. It was implied no-one knows he was an ex cop, excuse me but don't they get newspapers inside? Even if they don't they will have family and friends on the outside who would have passed the news on. May just be me, as I'm not a hater of Colby, but he may be relieved now it is all out there, no more lying or keeping that deep dark secret. Bella very wisely kept quiet about the real reason Nik has gone to see Gemma. Whatever else he is going through and how he feels about Colby and Willow Dean did say he'd look out for Bella. I know Bella is 18 so doesn't need babysitting but she shouldn't really be on her own. The only thing that is ever in that fridge, or so it seems, is beers, they are always going to the Diner or getting takeaways. Has Bella got any money coming in? Alf's ultimatum did bring Martha home, guess she didn't want Alf running into Kieran without prior warning. He'd definitely be younger than Roo who is in her early/mid 50's? I'd guess him as late 20's/early 30's?? The beard may be making him look older. I can't see her having leapt into a relationship straight away. Martha 'died' in 1985, so give her until 1990 until she got involved with Kieran's dad - I am wildly guessing here. He, from what she said, was a drunk and a waster and it seems Kieran has inherited those traits and has other problems. Shall we take it as read, for now, that Kieran was given Martha's maiden name as that is what she may have wanted to be known by. Didn't take him long to track Martha down and you have to give Marilyn credit she played it well but not telling Kieran where Martha lived, saying she'd pass a message on, then giving Roo the heads up. Did I hear right or did Martha say to Alf, Kieran doesn't know she'd remarried? ? Btw, Rick Donald - Kieran - was in H&A back in 2011 as Dean O'Mara, the one who raped Bianca at the B&S Ball which we've never had a mention of since.
