I think it was a given that something was going to happen to spoil Ryder's day, his mentioning he hadn't spoken to Evan, the fun between him, Nik and Bella, great rapport between the three of them btw. Him being teased by various people about giving Nik dating advice, when he seemed so much more savvy about Jade than Ryder was. Funny then him saying he hadn't much experience at dating girls.? Amusing to see Bella trying to find out what was going on between Nik and Ryder and even she questioned Ryder giving dating advice, Ari would have been a good alternative, definitely not Tane though. I can't see Nikau being anywhere near 25. Bit mean of everyone teasing him about serving soup to Bella on their date, rather lovely thing to do have a guy cook for you and from scratch too, she liked it which is the main thing. I knew Bella was winding Ryder up when she told him she 'hated' the date, sneaky of him to try and switch the blame onto Nik but surprise, surprise or not Nik was hiding in the other boat. That push into the water - which you knew was going to happen had to come!? Made us seeing Roo walk in, more on that later, with her suitcase and Evan's guitar case more poignant as you knew Evan had died. When he walked in later and saw the case, his face just wanted to make you hug him like she did. Course she would want to tell him face to face rather than over the phone. Would be a shame Red if Nik and Bella have done their three days. Back to Roo walking in, the house was empty and the place was unlocked! Though why am I surprised? How long was Alf supposed to be away? Willow, Dean and Colby are the same age give or take a year or two. Bella was pretty savvy herself sussing out the fact Mac fancies Tane. I do believe Mac has real feelings for Ari though, just hope she doesn't hurt him. It was her jealousy rather than him serving up a mocktail - not an alcoholic drink - to the customer that made her overreact the way she did. I did clock to see if Mac was looking at Tane when she was snogging Ari which she wasn't - not the first time anyway, but she knew Tane was looking the second time. I think Irene is more worried about what Jasmine may have told Wendy and Ian about what happened and why she run away. Leah was doing a good job of being mediator with all of them, calming Irene down and stopping her ringing Wendy back to tell her side of what happened, we and they don't know if Jasmine has told them anything and it could stir up a whole hornet's nest. Persuading Justin to ask Tori if to find out if Jasmine had handed her notice in, as you say Red not a big ask. Justin was right though Jasmine obviously did it as she needs time alone, but one phone call wouldn't hurt her and would put people's minds at rest, stop Irene and Willow ringing/texting her every five minutes if nothing else.

You could be right there Red, memory playing tricks on me again, I think Colby got a tip off. Amber can certainly put it away and Willow wasn't far behind her, replay of the night Jasmine, Willow, Colby and Jasmine had a 'party'. Haven't seen Willow that drunk for a long while - no sympathy for how she felt next morning though. To be fair to Amber it has been a long, long time since she knew Willow as the wild one so it would come as a surprise to learn she's the manager and a qualified instructor at a gym! Willow still has trouble getting her head round it and being respectable. Mind you Amber is now a qualified carer so she's come a long way too. I'd forgotten about the bike Willow roared up into Justin's garage on and that cliched tossing of her long black hair when she took her helmet off. Be very interesting to see what Amber's reaction would be if Willow decided to tell her she now bats for the other side? Amber doesn't appear to spend all day at John's, depends on how good their local heath authority is and how they are funded which is what it comes down to. I think I heard her say she had another patient to see. On that point, hope Amber wasn't seeing John - or anyone else for that matter - first thing after her heavy night out - for one thing she would have been in no fit state to drive to them let alone help them the way she is being paid to. What was with Amber's attitude to Mac, absolutely no reason for it. Her having been out of the loop for so long she wouldn't know who Dean's biological dad is and that Mac is his half sister and how they reconnected. Tane showing his real colours there and what Ari had said about him and women hadn't been an exaggeration. Really though first night on the job and he walks off because Amber gives him the green light. That's how I felt about Mac's reaction, but she's seen for herself now - he couldn't even remember Amber's name - and apart from some flirting nothing happened between them so no way could they be called an item even a casual pairing. Wonder if Amber remembered his name? I think Bella is good for Nikau - was her first day at TAFE from what she said the day before. She makes him happy and so good to see him smiling and laughing, he's even getting on better with Ari which has to be a god thing. Gemma has bought up well as he can cook and looked like he went to a lot of trouble with that meal for Bella. Don't blame either of them for getting out when Tane brought Amber back, neither of them seemed bothered about the din they were making. Rather sweet of Nik to walk Bella home and he is respecting her wishes to take it slow. Bella, though, went from one noisy situation to another thanks to Willow and co. I was under the impression Nik was only 19/20/21 whereas Willow, Dean are in their late 20's so not exactly in the same age bracket, though Ziggy is only 22.

We know Colby is 10 years older than Bella and wasn't she six when Ross took off with her and her mum? She was 16 when she was found making it 10 years as has been established at the time. Are TPTB messing with our memories yet again? I'm pretty sure Dean did tell Colby to go as finding Bella was more important, it has been mentioned before another friend died at the scene, but I can't remember if his name has been said out loud. Dean took the blame for the crash hence his time in jail. Dean did say he'd met up with Amber after he'd left jail and maybe that is when they slept together, Amber did tell Ziggy she felt guilty doing that as he was Willow's ex. Seemed to have taken a while for Willow to discover Amber was in town. Not the warm reunion she was expecting though, was she, Amber, aware of Willow's friendship with Colby? Willow shouldn't beat herself up about losing touch with Amber if Amber didn't want to be found she didn't want to be found. I think Willow is feeling a little bit left out, Dean has Ziggy, Colby has work and Bella. She lost touch with Amber, lost Alex, no mention of how she's getting on btw, now she feels responsible for Jasmine going off the radar. Naturally it came as a shock to Amber to realise Colby was a cop - going back in time here but why didn't she turn him at the time of Jai's death? Oh hang on I think Dean asked her not to. Nothing to stop her now, an old case I know but Colby still payed his part in it, was he just a passenger or the driver? If he was a minor would charging him with anything have any relevance? Give him his due, he didn't try and duck out of any blame just told Amber to not hate Willow and Dean. Dean survived the crash and although his life then didn't turn out as it should have, he's in a very good place now. In fact it may be a better place than if he had gone onto be a pro football player - one of life's imponderables. Amber, however lost her brother which is a lot harder to come to terms with. Very reasonable argument from Dean about how he'd come to forgive Colby, stopped hating him and let it go. Amber hating him hasn't served Amber well. John is definitely feeling better what with him cooking up his little ruse to get Willow and Amber talking, even if it didn't work.? Amber and John really have hit it off, it's lovely, if a little bit odd, she can confide in him so easily and her being a Mango River girl too. She does listen to him and he has been talking sense, a stand-in Alf like he was before when Alf went AWOL. How long was he supposed have been gone anyway? Had to laugh when Dean turned up at John's again and Amber asked if she and Dean could talk alone and he went out muttering away under his breath. Did I mishear or did Amber say she had five other patients in the bay? She's doing wonders with John much to Marilyn's chargrin, got everything sorted, meal ready, washing hung out. A little touch of the green eyed monster, feeling pushed out and not sure how to feel about it. He's not ready to be left completely alone but doesn't need her 24/7, but I don't think she does know what to do with herself. It's been a long time since she can do what she wants, not that John would have stopped her doing anything. There was an interview with Emily Symons in a TV mag and she suggested maybe Marilyn could set up her salon again.

At least Dean got the introduction of Amber and Ziggy - odd note old girlfriend's name starts with an A, latest girlfriend's name begins with a Z - out of the way. OK Ziggy would want to know about her, but why the "You've never mentioned her before" he must have had lots of girls, did she want a list of names and addresses? We know she was dating Jarrod, another bad guy, when we first saw her, bet he wasn't the only one, Dean doesn't ask how many guys she knew before they even knew each other existed. Amber knew Dean before and after he went to jail then when as he admitted to Ziggy he wasn't in a good place. Colby was what 16/17 when the accident happened and we've heard from Dean he told Colby to go. Why didn't Amber tell the cops about Colby back then, did Dean persuade her not to? Amber clearly hasn't been in the neighbourhood for the past 10 years, rather like Colby, as she didn't know Bella had been found. It was hard to tell if Bella remembered Amber. Amber wouldn't have known when she clocked him one he was a cop - his face when he saw her - but now she does is she straight off to the cop shop? Do you know something we don't English Invader about Willow and Amber? To Amber's day job, certainly a different approach, but no two patients are the same, must have notes on John, either that or a very good reader of people. I did like how she dismissed Marilyn, John is her patient after all not Marilyn. I think John has met his match there, she managed to wear him down to get him to the gym and it was as I suspected he has lost his confidence about being out and about and having to meet people for the first time since his stroke. It was cheering to see him walk in the surf club too. Of course Amber is only there to help him get well physically, he may well need help to help him recover mentally too. He really didn't stop griping did he, but that is what John likes doing. Giving Amber comes from that thar Mangrove River he didn't go into his usual gotta be a bad 'un then mode, did ask in a round about way if she had been a River Girl. Yet when it came to Dean old prejudice creeping back in. Course could have been John winding Dean up. May have just been me but was there a little touch of jealousy when Maz found out Amber had returned and had even taken John out on her own and they were getting on? She had been reluctant to citing her inability to cope with John and his wheelchair on her own, but Amber does have training to lift and manoeuvre people who have had strokes and other disabilities. Was great to see Bella and Ryder together. I guess Dean's money has been released to pay for her courses, hadn't it been put on hold as it her courses were deferred when she went into therapy? I think Gemma had an alibi for the time of the break in. Also from the description Leah gave Gemma was the wrong height.

Although not exactly all light and fluffy it was good to get a less heavy storyline after Jasmine who most of us know isn't crazy. I think we can attribute Mac's snapping at Ryder down to her 'secret' over Tane. He's got her all of a fluster and she's a level headed business woman. The look on Dean's face when she 'confessed' - definitely a case I don't want to be here.? No she hasn't done anything wrong, just because you are with someone doesn't mean you can't fancy someone else as long as you don't act on it. There is a saying 'you can look at a menu but you don't have to eat'. Is having Tane near, although it would be helping Ari and Nik really a good idea? Problem is I think Tane knows she fancies him and is teasing to see how far he can push it. He clearly hasn't done any proper jobs - all casual and cash in hand - via friends and friends of friends. He can't serve any alcoholic drinks, he has no experience at waiting on tables, not a chef. Didn't seem to bother him a man 10(?) years younger than him had more going for him. Not a lot left, clearing tables, pot washing, or is it more loading dishwasher, shame they stopped the pizza delivery service. I actually don't think Tane has got into anything really dodgy yet and he was having doubts over Snowy's message about 'one more job' yeah right. Naturally Dean confided in Ziggy what Mac had told him and was her comment about women falling for bad guys meant to be serious - pot, kettle love. She did clarify it by saying he was very bad. Nice little mention of Maggie and Ben getting drunk at vineyards. I know her warning Dean that if he ran out on her she'd drag him back and tie him to the bed was a joke, but now Amber an ex girlfriend or close, very close friend has pitched up. Dean very quickly told her he was waiting for his girlfriend so I'd introduce them pronto. Hadn't John been moaning his previous wanna be carers had been too fawning and wishy washy, now when he gets one aka Amber with some gumption and who didn't just let him sit there he doesn't like that. But although John can be a stubborn git he has had his confidence knocked. I actually think she will be good for him, she did have him on his feet, which he had been, briefly, at Maggie & Ben's leaving do with little help from Ben and Justin. I'm sure he did take a couple of steps towards her too but didn't realise it. Is she going to be a live in carer? Seems Amber also knows Colby going by the hello punch she gives him! Not his week is it, scratched by one woman and punched by another. ?

No Blaxland it does appear that way! Maybe it was because Justin isn't as diplomatic as he could be when it comes to Jasmine, but he could have phrased what he said a lot differently. He could see how worried Irene and Willow were, guess Tori was at work while this was going on, his "I'm glad she's gone" comment would have upset them. Leah made him pay for it though.? He also got short shrift in the Diner next morning. Colby was right - though we didn't hear conversation - Jasmine is an adult so couldn't be classed as a missing person until she'd been gone 48 hours, but could she have been classed as vulnerable due to her mental state? We do now know she is at Wendy and Ian's, how long did it take her to get there, it's in the middle of nowhere? More importantly than that though what will she them about the whole Tori/Grace situation? Dollar to a cent it's all going to be Tori and Justin's fault, she's done nothing wrong, all she's tried to do is look after Grace, Tori is a bad mother, left Grace alone in a car that got stolen, they won't let me see her etc. Don't forget Wendy isn't a fan of Tori's, she wasn't happy that Tori was going back to work so soon. She did also say to Jasmine she was to focus on Grace which she's taken literally. Marilyn did kind of ask for what Tane told her/ hinted at??. She scuttled off very quickly?, leaving him very amused. Big bag of dosh, some of which has paid the rent, more on groceries, he's part domesticated at least, seems he can cook too. Oh no one of those phonecalls/texts 'the one more job, it'll be easy, no risks' type. Will Tane be dumb enough to fall for it? Snowy eh? Did I hear Ari say Nik had gone off on a job for Alf? Big, big apologies and with grovelling thrown in from Ari got the result that Mac forgave him, properly forgave him.? Though I liked her dig about 'other rich girlfriends'. Touch of awkwardness at the breakfast table between Tane and Mac and in the trailer she admits to Dean she does fancy Tane. Oops!

Slade, Please STOP calling Jasmine crazy! Would you want to be labelled crazy if you had the mental/emotional problems Jasmine has? And yes I do know it's not real, just proof of Sam's acting that makes it seems so. As UK_fan said Jasmine hasn't fully dealt with her grief yet and she has been very good at hiding it. She did seem to be coming round when she found she was 'pregnant' but it's all come back. I wasn't as convinced about Jasmine accepting the mental health care plan Tori had outlined for her, she appeared to be taking it all in but was that more for Irene and Willow's benefit? Of course it didn't help that we knew Tori had taken out an AVO on Jasmine so was she trying some damage limitation in advance?? It kind of gave Jasmine false hope that it she got help she'd soon be able to see Grace. Naturally it had to be Colby, no other cops around? to serve Jasmine with her AVO, he could have explained to McCarthy it was a bit too personal for him as he knew the person it was to be served on. To be fair he did ask if they could go back to Irene's or somewhere quieter so he wasn't doing it in public but Jasmine didn't want a bar of it so her clients were given a ringside seat to the whole shouting match which will sure be good for business. It was pretty much a given Jasmine would storm round to Tori's, which may not have happened if Tori hadn't seemed, in Jasmine's eyes, so caring that very morning. Colby must have been half expecting that call. She certainly told Tori what she could do with her plan! Thing now of course where has she gone, Irene's first thought is she is going to do something stupid as in top herself. On a lighter note Nikau and Bella, good move btw Colby telling Bella about Nik's visit, she is an adult so treat her like one. I'm glad she decided to tell Nik about why she had ducked out the night before and explained that if they were to be a couple she wants to take things slowly, very slowly which he was fine with him, loved the way he asked if he could hold her hand and he looks so good when he smiles, really lights up his face. Liked the dress she was wearing. She felt relaxed enough with him to have a lark about in the Parata's pool. Nice bat back from Nik when Ari mentioned him dating the cop's sister and he replied he was sleeping with his ex! They are getting on a lot better too which is a relief, I'm not sure if Tane's advice would have been the right advice, he's not over fond of Colby either. I can see why Ari turned down Mac's offer even if was a loan, he's a proud man and having your better off girlfriend bail you out would dent it. Not knowing Mac as well as he thought he did he would jump to the wrong conclusion, which I would have done, she had gone behind his back her reaction though would have/should have told him he was wrong, hope she forgives him for that. I'm guessing Gemma doesn't know about the shortfall in the rent so that does only leave Tane and whatever he had in mind.

Marilyn will always care for John, but sadly the love has gone. I like Bella and Nik's friendship and it was her that instigated the kiss and the rather shy hand holding after. On that point and completely trivial but when Belle took Nik's hand he was on her right but then they come across Colby they were the other way round - continuity error? Anyhoo I think she may have been trying to be too eager to appear 'normal' when she agreed to go to Nik's for dinner as she thought Ari would be there. Has to be confusing for Nik, it had been going well and it didn't help Colby had had his two pennth. 'warning' her to be carful around Nik making her unsure of herself. I get he is doing as a brother as she is vulnerable but she is now 18. I like to think Nik was there to see if Bella was OK. Does Colby know Tane isn't in town? We all know Nik was involved in the car jacking it's the Diner there are doubts about, but there is no proof evidence wise on either to allow for Colby's hounding. Still no sign of Bella and Irene knowing the other is around. Though Irene does have her hands full with Jasmine at the moment. I believe not crazy Jasmine believes she is sorry each time she says it, but it doesn't stop her making the same mistake again and again, it's like she's in a loop she can't get out of. Tori has been pushed to the end of her patience, her gratefulness for what Jas and Robbo did while she was in a coma can only be taken so far. She's going to be scared to leave the house in case Jas is there waiting for her, scared to stay home in case she turns up. Jas was trying to stay calm but the tension in the air unsettled Grace but I do believe Jasmine when she says she would never hurt her. Sorry Irene, like your well meaning but not wise advice to Marilyn you and Willow can't get Jasmine through this, it's too deep rooted, she needs professional help. It's getting Jas to recognise that that is going to be the problem unless she does something and there will be no choice but to have her sectioned. Haven't seen that window being used as an escape route for a while?? and did Irene make the right decision not to let Tori know Jasmine was on the loose? I know it was academic in the end but a heads up may have helped. Guess Jasmine must have finally fell asleep hence her stopping texting Tori! After me mentioning what Robbo's reaction would be Jasmine herself brings it up by ranting at Colby that if Robbo was here he'd be disgusted by the way he, Colby, was behaving towards her. The irony of course is if Robbo was here, none of this would be happening Robbo, Jasmine and Tori would be happily bringing up Grace, Jasmine may even be pregnant for real. I feel so sorry for Jasmine despite all the chaos she's causing. Why is Jasmine still Delaney, I would have thought she'd have taken Robbo's name. I believe Sam Frost was a reality star and presenter before becoming an actress which doesn't always work, but Sam has been very believable as Jasmine and her slow breakdown has been very convincing and has us, well most I guess, on her side wanting her to be well and happy.
-
Jasmine didn't exactly say yes or no then to Tori, hence the 'misunderstanding'. I'd forgotten about Jas' stash, so had she apparently the way she just got it out in front of Irene, she had kept it well hidden before. That was some spectacular unravelling by Jasmine, I'm not sure if even she knows if she is being sincere when she apologises for her outbursts, promises she'll calm down and she'll be 'OK'. Tori has been so, so patient and understanding so far, but has finally come to realise it can't go on, no way would Jasmine ever hurt Grace, if anyone is going to get hurt and I mean emotionally, it's Jasmine. Tori's doctor half knows Jasmine isn't in control, but the mother half just wants to keep Jas away from Grace. Willow, though reluctant, had to tell Colby what was on that mummies forum and he had to tell Tori, now it is her choice what she decides to do about it. I'm not a big fan of people saying about a deceased, be in it in a TV show or real life "If so-and-so were here they wouldn't want this/that for you" or "they'd want you to do this/that" how would they know unless said someone had told them. But in this case I think Robbo would be horrified by what Jasmine is doing. Jasmine has been very good at fobbing people off, convincing them she's OK, it's not her, it's others who have it wrong, but she needs help before she self destructs. It is getting like a Whitehall farce, ask your gran, with people not connecting with other people, this time as you said Red, Bella and Irene. Rather sweet Bella coaxing Nikau to 'brave' the Diner saying no-one blames you, well Marilyn seemed perfectly OK with him and she's not that good at acting casual if she's nervous round someone. Were Ryder's backwards looks because he is the spare wheel or he's worried Bella could end up in a tricky situation again or Nik could get it wrong again. I could actually 'hear' what Nik was getting up the courage to say to Bella before she read his mind and kissed him. What's wrong with them having a little romance, he knows the boundaries now. Good to hear him say, in an aside, he wants to contribute towards the rent, also a brief mention of Tane having gone awol. Who btw is back this week with a wad of dosh.?

Jasmine is NOT crazy Slade, I've said before she just isn't very mentally and emotionally well. There is a part of her that knows what she is doing isn't right but her fixation/obsession with Grace is overriding everything. She's had a rough couple of years and she just hasn't dealt with it, I notice she does what Robbo did when he was upset or bothered goes running. In her current state of mind what she is doing is perfectly logical. Still PRINTING in her notebook though Willow is under the impression she's writing calming things. I can't remember if we heard the discussion about who's photo, as in Tori and Grace or Grace and Jas, photo was gong to be on the gym website and Willow obviously wasn't present so it is Jas' word against Tori's. I've said before but out of everyone involved with the car snatch the only one not getting bent out of shape was Grace. Tori has know realised what game Jas is playing though not the full extent yet, she's been very generous in letting Jas' behaviour go, but now she's putting all those little incidents together. Of course she is always going to be grateful to Jasmine for looking after Grace so well for the three months she was unable to, but Jasmine has to hold it over her head every time, in her mind, she's crossed. Jas had got the huff earlier when Tori calmly turned down her offer to look after Grace as Tori had just come off a shift and was tired, without it being said Tori must have had worries then. Hence Jasmine's entrance in her journal about Tori being wrong about not taking her offer of help when she was so obviously tired. Seems Willow finds one of Jasmines' me and 'my' baby entries. So glad Justin didn't say "I told you so". He has been very diplomatic around Jasmine of late as his previous attitude was just upsetting everyone. Jasmine approached Colby about the fact Tori had 'abandoned' Grace in the car so maybe as English Invader said Tori wants to ask his advice. We all saw how that ended. Now definitely a police matter. Irene was certainly getting bombarded by some dramatic news, Ben & Maggie's departure just getting skipped over. First Grace getting 'kidnapped' then Marilyn with her news. Btw Willow, did you return to your client that you just left sitting there? There would never have been a good time for John to have said what he did but it wasn't doing either of them any good carrying on as they were. As long as Marilyn refused to come out and say she didn't love John anymore it could mean it wasn't true in her mind anyway. I'm sure she still cares for him, they've been married for six years and have known each other quite awhile before that. It may, strange as it sounds, be easier now the truth is out there, they can stop pussyfooting round each other and relax. Didn't get john's comment about Marilyn cooking and washing for him, wasn't she doing that before anyway? Seems John is already making plans. Oh Ryder you lovely young man, instead of throwing a strop when you overheard Grumps telling Martha he'd feel better staying to keep an eye on you, you kept quiet then later just dropped it into the conversation, then persuaded him to go to be with his wife. Did Alf and Irene actually see each this time round or was it a revolving doors thing?
-
That was decidedly weird Irene popping up like that, it didn't appear she knew they had left unless Marilyn mentioned it after we left them sitting at the table. On that subject it seemed poor John was left starving at home, Marilyn took off in the afternoon and returned in the dark. That was a lovely meal, great amusing speech by Alf getting his little pops in about Ben ruining his new water tank after he'd let him stay in a van overnight because Ben's car wouldn't start, then gazumping him and others over buying the Pier complex. But going on to say Ben and Maggie had made themselves a part of the community and would be missed. One thing I found very odd, Maggie said to Alf she was sorry about not being able to say goodbye to Martha - er excuse me no mention of Roo who is her friend, work colleague and of late confident. ? Purely on a superficial level I'll miss Ben as he was a great piece of eye candy. Nice shot of them driving out of town, and the obligatory shot of the Summer Bay sign. Chuckled at the awkward man hug between Ben and Dean and Ben thanked Dean, again, for being there for Ziggy when she needed it. Ziggy saw the error of her ways and apologised to Dean about the thoughtless remarks she had made and explained why she was crying over the album photos. No sign of Colby or Bella at the flat, OK Colby could have been at work, but I guess they had done their three days. Been nice for Bella to have thanked Maggie for the help she tried to give her. Bella can give Irene the letter she wrote now. Really thoughtful of Ziggy that once she had taken the photos she wanted she gave the album to Justin as there were photos of Mason in it. I think like Colby and Chelsea because she and Brody hadn't been married a year they have to wait a year after they separated, Ziggy and Brody married in 2018 but you have to apply for it, surprising Brody hasn't already, unless it's down to the injured party in this case Ziggy. I suppose it means the final break with the past, did she become a Morgan or stay an Astoni? Wonder what she will do with her certificate? OK maybe I'll give Marilyn a pass about it being awkward for her getting John and his wheelchair in the car on her own, she would have had help at the other end, but it did seem she made the decision about it being too hard on John after his rehab the day before on his behalf again. His speech is a lot better, he didn't have to think before he spoke, though it probably gets a bit slurry if he's tired. Really great of Justin and Ben to go and get him reminding him he'd helped Mason back in the day. I may have been wrong but Maz didn't look that overjoyed to see him, but she did do her usual lunge in to help him when he didn't need it. Seems we are finally going to get the ? in the room talk between John and Marilyn, be a relief in one way as they can both stop pretending. Are Dean and Ziggy staying at the farmhouse until it's sold/rented? They couldn't seriously consider leaving it empty.

I thought I heard Tane tell Nik to go back to the bay and he'd sort Tori's car, he'd dump it in the bush, not likely he would have left it by the side of the road where any passing motorist would have found it or did we all miss something? TPTB must have read my mind about Coco.? When Ari and Tane aren't locking antlers they are good brothers, even if they have to be reminded of the fact by Mac, they have to work together for Nik's sake, he definitely doesn't need to know the rent is short by $500. Liked Ari's response to Tane's it'll be just be one job as that was what Mikaere said about his last job which it was- literally. Wonder why Tane is so against doing a honest days work? I know one cop who won't be happy (or maybe he will as it will prove what he's been saying) that Tane has left town. Nice touch that with Alf and Leah remembering when Ben & Maggie first came to town and they found out they were the new owners of the pier complex, there was that big fallout because Ben wanted to change everything. Of course Alf being Alf it didn't go down well at all. Eventually all differences were settled as they usually are and they become a big part of the bay. Irene is going to be upset she missed them going. I remember the incident of the snake.?. Coco wasn't the model daughter either, she'd been suspended from her previous school for cyber bullying, Ziggy we know was a wild child, trying to run away from the bay by hiding in Brody's work van. It would have been a big step for Dean and Ziggy to take on the house, it is more for a family or a group of people. Not entirely convinced by Dean's comment about it's a way to commute, Ben and Maggie had to do it. Who would have thought when we first met him Dean would be the owner of an actual business! Ben did a good thing remembering how Dean helped him set the business up in the first place. Laughed at Ben telling Dean he wouldn't always answers his calls, that's even without taking into account the time difference. Real foot in the moment there Zigg saying you'll be all alone, the look on Dean's face, though I do get that isn't how she meant it. Then saying she's an orphan! that was way OTT. It is her wedding album and as Maggie said not just Brody in the photos, the rest of her family and friends were there too and she didn't know Dean was behind her. I think she is entitled to feel sad it went wrong now the bitterness has passed. Reminder though from Dean, in trailer, divorce hasn't come through yet.

Wow how amazing, dignified, heart breaking and beautiful was that tribute/goodbye to Mikaere by the Parata men. It blew me away, I'd recorded it so rewound it and watched it again. The backdrop of a deserted beach just added to the ambience. Akin to the kind of send off The River Boys give when one of their own dies, paddle into the sea on their boards and leave wreathes in the sea. They may scrap a lot, but when it comes down to it family is family and it's only been a year. I thought Ari explained the process of the ceremony to Mac very well. I hope Mac's idea of having a video link to Gemma and the family in NZ comes off. Said before they are all very fit, though I think Tane is a bit too muscly. Perhaps Bella still didn't know? Adults never learn, yes you Colby, but they still tell their kids, younger brothers/sisters not to see someone, like that has ever, ever worked. Plus Bella is 18 so he can't tell her who to see or not to see. One thing the therapy Farm has taught her is patience, excluding Colby of course, she sat it out outside Nik's door until he was ready to come out, not pushing him to talk and just gave him a hug when he did come out, it meant he was in a better frame of mind for the later scene. Someone sitting outside someone else's bedroom door seems to be a thing in the bay. Be interesting to see how the guys manage without Gemma, she kept them together and more or less calm, she'd obviously cleared the fridge as they'd be away so hence the panic at it being empty, are any of them cooks of any kind of description, otherwise, it'll be a lot of takeaways, cereal, toast. Interesting that in that confrontation between Ari, Colby and Tane after Tane had informed Ari the DD had been refused it was Ari stopping Tane from going for Colby. Colby had to defend his, well not his actions in blocking the male Parata's passports, again, they are under investigation, if there was proof one of the three (or all of them) - would have been locked up so they wouldn't have got as far as the airport. It's just his attitude, any other Yabbie Creek cop would more detached. Bella called it right he is a control freak. Nik drove Tane's car back to town and Tane disposed of/hid Tori's car somewhere in the bush. Jasmine isn't crazy Slade, just in a very bad place mentally and emotionally, she needs professional help, but of course no way is she going to admit she needs it. She 'admits' she is acting out of order, says she's going to calm down, get it sorted but then does something else. Is it just a soap thing or is it possible for a couple like Ben and Maggie to arrange everything so quick - Italy isn't NZ or even the next nearest country to Australia. Fair enough it's been decided they are renting the house to Ziggy and Dean, Ben is letting Dean run Ben's Boards, I think that is what he said, but there has to be other things to get sorted. No goodbye to Coco for instance? Have they sorted out somewhere to stay when they get to Italy? Ziggy must feel torn, it was her idea they go on their own as it was there dream, but no matter how old the woman is she'll always want her mum near, in most cases anyway. Which reminds me, does Diana know?

I had already wondered if the Parata boys would be allowed to leave the state let alone the country considering they were under investigation so they were either being ignorant of the fact or very naïve. In that regard it was right they were stopped for leaving the country but Colby didn't need to go to theirs and gloat about it. Of course he only did it to push Ari's buttons which worked, Tane did well to hold him back when he must have itching to do the same. He would have had to pass that info to someone higher up, he doesn't have the clout to block someone leaving the country. I felt so sorry for Gemma, but the guys were right she had to go to do what needed to be done. They would have got away if Alf hadn't told Colby in passing he would be short handed as the Parata's were going home to NZ for a few days. Tougher for Nikau because he's lost out on the chance to say a goodbye to his dad. Alf has asked Marilyn several times why she is with John and she just keeps avoiding the question. Even if things were fine between them it would still be a hard adjustment, but there's this distance between them now. Marilyn is putting on this face of pretending everything is fine which isn't fair on either of them. Alf is concerned for both of them. I did blink when Alf came out with the cockney term 'kick up the arris' referring to John. I don't know where you've been all these years Psychic but we have seen John and Marilyn kiss and as for her and Ari that is what started this latest problem between them John thought there was more to their friendship than there was. Maggie has decided then that she is happy to go to Italy with Ben alone - 24 hours away according to Ben, but according to google it's 18 hours so his timing is out. John did initially think it would only be a matter of time that he and Marilyn where back together as before but I think he's realising it won't be happening that way so hence the advice to Ben. If I remember right John was ready to throw Ben to the wolves when he was under investigation over the drugs in his boards.

I'm guessing that means that Jasmine could only step in if she felt Grace was in real danger, unexplained bruises, signs of neglect etc? Does Justin, although a blood relative to Grace, does, have less claim than Jasmine? Were Ben and Maggie - well I think more Maggie - seriously expecting Ziggy and Coco to pack up their lives and move to Italy? They are not young kids anymore - I remember Ziggy kicked up enough when she was told they were moving to the bay! Ziggy is 22 now and Coco 19. Italy isn't the short hop away for Aussies it is for us Brits so not so easy to visit. Ben and Maggie have been talking about at least visiting Italy for ages but something always got in the way so why shouldn't they go the whole hog. I wonder if part of the reason they wanted the girls to go with them is because for the first time since they have been married they would be just the two of them in a foreign country. Dean dealt with it in just the right way, didn't get ahead of himself and get huffy that Ziggy may chose to go, just told her to do what she wanted to do and not feel obligated she had to go because she said she'd do anything she could to help. Big jump from Dean saying he and Ziggy having a few days away did her good to Ben suggesting the move to Italy! It'll be the end of the Ben's Boards if/when they go, Dean doesn't have the know how to make them only sell them. Ah Alf, that was a big softy thing to do, unlike Roo though not to have rung Ryder. Ryder definitely felt a lot better after talking to Evan, it was all he needed, nice to see him smile, wanted to give him a big hug.? Alf's visiting John and Marilyn didn't go so well though. You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife. They are both tetchy and that is putting it mildly, with each other. Marilyn immediately leaping up to change John's breakfast, John taking the lid off his mug more to spite her I think than because he felt able to drink it with it off. I had a short intake of breath when Marilyn, instead of asking John if she could help with his watch strap, just took it off while talking to him as if he was a child. Checking up on what time he had made his appointment. No wonder he lost his temper, echoes though of Jett when he was treated the same by John. They are both going to be honest with each about what they expect from the other. I would think Italy would be even more of a risk.?

Forgotten it was Ryder that spotted what she had done. Of course I was only referring to a divorced dad as you well know and nowadays does the new mum/dad have to be married to the parent to be classed as a step mum/dad? Anyways, Jasmine is not giving up on her obsession in her belief that Tori is the worse mum in the world, one woman did advise Jas to keep a log of the 'bad' things Tori has done, but she was talking about her ex husband so no comparison. Mac was worried enough to ring Willow but of course Jasmine managed to put them off, for a while at least. By accident then that Willow found Jas' page when she thought it was the gym's forum. No way was that believable Jasmine caving in that like and agreeing with Willow she'd talk to her and come off the forum and write down what she was thinking. Methought Willow and Mac were kidding themselves about it being a god sign when they saw Jasmine writing on her pad, because what Jasmine was PRINTING, which is a bad sign in itself, it didn't look like it was anything that would be in any way calming. I guess we should be grateful it wasn't in green ink. ? Wasn't any need for Justin to 'shoot' Willow, she wasn't defending Jasmine, just telling him she was worried about her. News about the kidnapping is getting around and Nik nearly dropped himself in it when he mentioned to Tori it happened when she was helping John, lucky for him that news had got around. Leah put Jasmine off going round to see or ringing Tori very kindly and tactfully, not that Jasmine would see it like that. Lovely talks between Gramps Alf and Ryder. It must be unnerving wanting and yet not wanting to hear from Roo. Is there anything stopping Ryder ringing Evan even for a brief chat? Handy Gemma is off to NZ so Ryder can pick up her shifts. That was a big gaffe on Mac's part, especially when Ryde hadn't seen his dad before. She took the bit between her teeth though and apologised to him, I loved their cuddle. Maggie, Maggie what did you expect, that the school board would fall on their knees and welcome you back with open arms?? The time off you when you had cancer aside, you haven't been the most consistent principal SBH have had so no surprise they've given the job to someone else. Everyone is chuffed they are back with each other, they are soulmates and should be together, hard cross to bear though being told you are the perfect couple. All they can do is take it slowly but things won't go back exactly as they were, it's going to be a new them. Maggie was definitely uneasy about all the fuss being made, perhaps feeling she/they didn't deserve it? She did say the fact everyone is so happy for them makes her feel they can't have any more problems as they'd be under the microscope. That was a big bombshell they are both going to Italy for good! Not too an intimate spot for Ziggy's tat - bum/buttocks, I was more surprised she showed Willow it in Salt - twice! On that wasn't that scene right after the aborted dinner, because Ziggy seemed perfectly relaxed? I was impressed Ziggy dropped in that was the reason why she couldn't get wet the day before as the tat is so new.

Did I hear Mac say Colby is a professional? Maybe most of the time but when personal feelings come into it he isn't. Nik is only young and Colby does know about owning up to things - or not in his case. Ari was OTT wanting to sit in on Nik's interview because as Colby pointed out he is over 18 and not an vulnerable adult. Very Braxton behaviour with Tane/Brax ringing their according to Ari/Heath 'dodgy' lawyer. Nik did listen to Tane and kept his mouth shut. No valid reason for the cancellation of the identity parade, but are there another two or three guys in the bay that look enough like the Parata's to comply with the numbers needed? So far the guys have done a good job keeping Gemma out of the loop, not sure of what her reaction will be when she does find out. Would Nik, Ari and Tane be allowed to leave to go back to NZ, are they under suspicion for the Diner, car jacking? Has Bella gone back on what she said in her letter to Nik, whatever that was, she seems to be getting quite close to him and it is her choice Red. On that subject how did she know which was Nik's bedroom, she went straight to it. It would have completely thrown him when he'd seen she'd self harmed, would anyone so I'd cut him - no pun intended - some slack there. Yes Jasmine - although I can understand her reaction, Grace is very dear to her, she was going over the top, questioning Tori on how it happened not once but twice, the police didn't even do that, did they? Justin was very restrained and calmly asked Jas to leave as Tori needed to get Grace settled. Tori knows how Robbo would have felt so she didn't need Jasmine to keep hitting her over the head with it. Tori is an adult Red not a helpless baby. Similar thing happened in Emmerdale, Paddy was in such a hurry to get Marlon into the hospital he left Eve in the car alone with the doors open in the hospital car park. Grace seems to be the only one not to be affected by the car jacking/kidnapping and I've had a wicked thought, they could do an identity parade and get Grace to pick the guy out by gurgling at him? ? Colby upset Jasmine by not giving her the answer she was hoping for - Tori hadn't gone off shopping and was right next to the car so no way could it be called child abandonment. If Nikau hadn't been on his mission to get away it wouldn't have happened. She didn't get any further in that phone call she made, something about she as a step mother didn't have any say about what had happened leaving Mac looking perplexed and worried. I'm confused.com - normally a step mother is a woman who has married a widowed or divorced dad who shares child care with ex wife but in this case but mum is sole carer so can Jasmine be classed as a step mum? So now Jasmine 2711 is stirring up trouble and hatred on the forum to make her feel justified. Don't forget the women on the forum are mums so would respond the way they have. Not a spoiler as it was in the trailer but Jas obviously got a bit careless as Willow sees what she has posted.
-
All Nikau is is a car thief, so that is all he can be charged with, the moment he found he had a passenger he stopped and got help, did he instinctively chose Tane because he knew Ari would act differently? Good idea to clean Tori's car down of Nikau's prints, hope he remembered the ignition key, but did Tane remember to wipe his prints of Grace's car seat which is what I thought Grace was returned in. I'm inclined to think Tane had just left Grace and maybe got her to make a noise so she'd be heard. Tori said apart from being a bit dehydrated she was fine. Tane is probably good at not being found when the need arises. Tane can't know yet who Tori is which is why Nik had to tell him the relationship between Grace and her, Nik remembered seeing Grace at Marilyn's. Will Colby investigate the Parata's about the fact Grace was deposited at her home - oh scrub that - Tane got that info from her driving licence/id which was in her car, meaning anyone could have. Tori had to utter the traditional lines "Why aren't you out there looking for her". That did wipe the smirk off Colby's face when Ari said at the time off the theft he was with Colby, lucky for him (made me smile). Would have been a logical assumption but Ari didn't know what was going on, not that Colby would have believed him. It is so obvious it's a personal vendetta between him and Ari, but now the rest of the family are being dragged into it. Bella knew about the accidental kidnapping as did Marilyn and I'm guessing John, Leah. Although we didn't see them I suppose Alf and Ryder did. Nik did a pretty good job of acting innocent when Bella told him about Grace. Not sure she believed him when he said he'd been helping Alf but she passed on that lie when Colby asked her if she'd seen him. Finally we got a date for when Mikaere died, not even a year yet, no wonder Nik got so uptight when it looked like Gemma had moved on. From what she was saying to Marilyn she 's going back to NZ to take part in the ceremony. Jasmine didn't appear to be to happy when she heard the news about Grace.
-
Colby's going for the Parata's because of their history and because of their history the Parata's are putting up resistance against Colby, no-one is going to win there. Even if it wasn't Colby investigating there would be the same problem because anyone of the other Yabbie Creek cops would have looked into their history. Mac jumped the gun there, making it look bad for Ari and her, though Colby has let her off the hook there. She must have completely forgotten there would have been witnesses- not just Justin - to Ari turning up at Salt when he did. Talking of witnesses apart from the fact Leah does know what all the Parata's look like, it was dark, so couldn't identify anyone apart from the fact they were wearing a black hoodie, which as Tane pointed out there must be hundreds of in the bay, and tall. As for the house, Colby already knows Tane is the lease holder, not as if, as I said before, the money taken from the till wouldn't be enough to pay a months rent. OK Tane's ability to be able to rent the place may come from somewhere less than legal, he said it was a favour a friend owes him, but that's got nought to do with the Diner. Nik is the only one, it seems, to have something guilty to hide and his doing a runner has added to that. Of all the days he goes on the lam, there's has to be a bus strike.? His jumping into Tori's car was a total spur of the moment thing, he's going to get one hell of a shock when he sees Grace! John picking up his old suspicions about the Parata's wasn't going to go down well with Marilyn, btw Colby said they were doing door to door so I hope they called on John and Marilyn. Marilyn is doing what she usually does, over fussing and John being the independent type he is, is rebelling against it. What a soap coincidence he fell just where he did and Tori just happened to be driving by. We found out where Roo and Even were off to - Brisbane.

Very moving goodbye between Evan and Ryder, where was Roo going with him? His time with his dad may have been short, but now he has got some good memories of him. Ryder did accept why Evan was doing what he was doing and this way Ryder can remember his dad in a relatively fit condition. Did I hear Quinn get a mention? I'm glad Alf was able to talk Ryder round, he would have regretted it if he hadn't spoken to Evan again, been great if he had landed a fish! Looks like it's just going to be Alf and Ryder as both Martha and Roo are away. Not a lot Bella could say to Ryder, but nice to see them together anyway. Is it me or does she appear more grown up than she did before she had her therapy? Not just Nik plying her for answers but Colby was at it later. Natch Colby doesn't trust Ari, but that is more for personal reasons than actually have any proof he was involved in the break in. Ari was rubbing it in his face though, picking up Mac and running back into the sea with her right in front of Colby. Maybe it's because of their run ins with the law that makes the Parata's think the police have it in for them personally when it's not always the case. Got narky when Colby and co came round saying they were doing door to door enquiries, as long as that was true, but Tane seemed to jump to the conclusion it was just them the cops were picking on. Colby zoned in on Nik's black hoodie, making him jumpy, leading Tane saying it was his, but there must be quite a few of those in the bay. Unless it had been washed , could Colby had enough reason to take away to be tested for fibres? Nik is definitely acting suspicious. Colby did discover it was Tane who took out the lease, but he doesn't seem to have any means of financial support as in regular income, but he got all defensive. See John has to bring up his suspicions about the Parata's again.

Dean was being all wise again and finally got through to Ziggy that she couldn't hide from whatever decision Ben and Maggie had made for ever. I would have liked to see the waterfall though. It was a bit tense at the table, but they did seem closer again and I'm hoping Ben's images of what happened between Maggie and Marco won't spoil their first night together, if you get my gist. Neat idea that Red, but wouldn't there be a problem age wise? Lovely moments between Evan and Ryder with the guitar lessons. As Evan explained to Roo, repeating what he said before, he doesn't want Ryder to watch him die. It wasn't in his original plan which was to meet up with Ryder get to know him, become a dad and son, then leave while still pretty healthy so Ryder had good and happy memories of him. You had to feel for Ryder when he was talking to Alf, he's had such a short time with his dad, I noted he'd started calling him that when he stopped him leaving town, and there is still a lot he doesn't know about him. Don't want to sound trite but he has been able to spend time with him and get to know him if only a little. I think maybe Roo will come up with a plan. I didn't think the police - or in this case Colby - would jump to the conclusion that just because Ari went from living in a van to a four bed bungalow he's the one renting it, that can easily be found out. You're right Red, he did know about Ari's record, Dean told him he'd was inside with him, but did he know what it was for? Dean was quick to leap to Ari's defence, probably because he knows what happened to Leah isn't/wasn't Ari's style. Colby also knows about Tane's history, doesn't appear he's done any time or been charged with anything so no prints anywhere. What money that may have been in the Diner's till would hardly cover a months rent either so that's another theory out of the window, get away money perhaps. I think we got a hint of it being Colby still being sniffy over Mac liking Ari in the trailer.

Very clever the way TPTB has left us dangling as to what decision Ben and Maggie have made, faces were very hard to read and didn't give anything away with what they were saying about telling the 'girls'. Ben certainly got a lot off his chest. I don't think Maggie 'chose' Marco specifically, he just happened to be there. Not wanting to drag up history but depending on how drunk Marco was he could have said no to Maggie's drunken advances. Oh Dean I knew there was a reason why I love you. Whisking Ziggy off to celebrate your 1st Anniversary - where did that year go! Resisting all her attempts to get him to tell her where they were going, actually remembering it was their anniversary - a bloke and an ex RB! - and buying (I hope) that lovely necklace. It's just what Ziggy needed, somewhere quiet away from all the stress with her mum and dad. She did wheedle out of him what RB's women did to prove their commitment and we found out later on - a tat! I did like Ziggy's - crossed surfboards. ? Not wishing their relationship ill, but if they did break up she wouldn't need to get rid of it or have it covered over. Of course now Ben and Maggie are stressing because they can't find her. Wasn't the spot where Dean and Ash went near a river and on lower ground? Jasmine did have a gulp moment when that woman walked and did a pretty neat job of getting her out of there before Willow could ask any awkward questions. I had the same thought as you Red about her being more deluded by pretending Robbo is still alive with the 'my husband is an undercover cop' line, but then I realised it was to stop her, can't remember her name, coming back as Jasmine told Willow she had changed her mind about joining. Willow did give them a funny look when they walked out of the gym, then just dismissed it. John does seem to have a different idea of what is going to happen once he gets back on his feet to what seems the idea Marilyn likely has. Very wisely Alf kept schtum. John did look disappointed to find he would be sleeping in Jett's room as that is where the equipment is, will it need to be adapted for John as he's heavier than Jett was and taller. Did hear Marilyn say she'd arranged things so they are easily accessible, I remember Jett having to really stretch something that was in the fridge. Seemed John and Alf had a good chat with Alf appreciating how much John did.

We finally, thanks to Justin's careful probing of Ben's reasons for not forgiving Maggie, found out why he was the way he was about it. It's because he's never felt worthy of Maggie, he's always felt inferior to Marco who it appears was the golden boy who could no wrong. What's the betting Mama and Papa kept comparing Ben to him asking why he couldn't be more like his brother. It all makes sense now, well does to me. He's carried that feeling with him all these years that he has been married to Maggie and that is why he finished with her in the first place because he felt he didn't deserve her. I agree all involved did a good job in getting through to Ben and Maggie. Leah didn't say much but what she did say, you may be flying off to Italy but you'll be taking your baggage with you, and she didn't mean her luggage, hit home. Justin, who was very wise and Leah were attuned in their advice to their respective advisees. Ziggy did the right thing by taking herself off so Ben & Maggie could talk I'd say Jasmine's behaviour has passed dangerous and all that collecting items of Grace's clothing is way not healthy. She is putting on a good show around Willow and Tori, even seems to have convinced Justin she is OK to be around Grace on her own. I'd also say a bad thing about her knowing people wouldn't approve, her making light of her non pregnancy when Willow worried about the mum/bubs yoga classes and if Jas would be OK with seeing all the mums and their babies. Jasmine wasn't as careful as she thought she was being when she posted that photo as that mum recognised where she was so must be local enough as she knew it was the gym. Oh and doesn't Grace have the cutest toes. As well as all of that going on we had John and Marilyn. Marilyn still won't (or can't) say if she is helping John because she loves him or doing it out of duty as Alf asked her last week. To keep saying "He's my husband" isn't a good enough an answer. Neatly avoided Alf's question about what happens if John makes full, or nearly, full recovery. Alf may have looked a bit askance when Marilyn said John would be in Jett's room as that is where all the equipment was but it does make sense, even if things were OK between them. It would give them both a good nights sleep which they will both need and I can see Marilyn, if they were in the same bed, waking up every five minutes, asking John if he's OK. I know Jett can't do much physically but he'd liked to be informed. At least Marilyn hasn't cut herself off completely from the outside world as she'll still be doing shifts at the Diner. There will be outside help as long as John accepts this is how it will be for the foreseeable. Leah is going to be a busy girl. Don't think Roo will able to help much. Is that Maggie or you Caption Hulk?

I'm trying to think about another time Bella got drunk, she wasn't that bad at Ryder's just normal teen behaviour, but I'm sure there was another time or I don't think she would have mentioned it. I've noticed reviews for that days events in the papers and TV mags don't always match up with what is happening on screen. I think a whole scene was missing from a recent episode of Corrie last week. Supposedly we were meant to see Daniel asking Adam for an advance on his wages but we didn't see it and this was before the Covid-19 scenes were shot. Tori does seem at her best when she is being Dr. Tori. That was a great idea and it did John the world of good, Maz backed off and just helped John when he asked for it. I was glad to see he apologised for his behaviour the night before and seemed to have come round more to the realisation he's going to have to accept help when he needs it. Though if I remember right he tried to take over with Jett and impose his help when Jett didn't need it, how soon we forget eh John and Jett had use of both of his arms. Be a big boost to his recovery to go home and I guess they still have all the aids that were there when Jett had need of them, Marilyn mentioned it was wheelchair friendly. More than likely she'll have help, John is a big man so she couldn't manage to lift him on her own, be in danger of hurting him and herself. John is a fit man for his age, runs the Surf Club, juice bar, life saving classes and is always on the go so that is going to go in his favour as long as he doesn't expect miracles overnight. Shame Tori had to give her day with Grace up, though it was only meant to be a half day. She's back to trusting Jasmine and Jasmine to give her her due didn't whisk Grace off somewhere without saying anything. Justin hid any doubts he may have had well and they both got on well feeding Grace. But then Jasmine was alone with Grace and posting about 'her and her' baby. Definitely not good signs. Let's hope Leah does cope with being back at work and it's not a front she's putting on. Alf doing his wise, old man bit, no offence Alf, got through to Ben where Ziggy failed, but then Alf is able to be more dispassionate about it and it worked. Don't suppose you had to be a rocket scientist to work out which road Maggie would be taking to get to the airport. Not only a good emergency stop, but showed Maggie's brakes were in excellent order. She did appear to take what Ben said on board but of course it won't be easy, but if they both want to stay together they've got to fight for it. Good point that Red about what happened or rather didn't happen with Ben and Gemma giving Maggie some idea of what Ben was going through when she admitted of what actually happened between her and Marco.

Plenty of people have been known to rob their own businesses. If Bella means what she says good for her. Different from having a really, really bad hangover where you swear never again, she did nearly die and there are some people who alcohol has that effect on. Typical Dean, then Willow finding out her treasured bracelet hadn't been bought by him for her 18th but stolen. They were nice scenes on the beach with the three of them just having a laugh. Maggie is being completely over the top with her reactions, fair enough she's giving Ben a taste of his own medicine by not wanting to listen to him, but the rest of it is totally unnecessary. She's accusing Ben - who is innocent - of doing something she was guilty of so pot, kettle, black Mags. If she is moving to Italy no need to pack up Ben's things. Could she just up sticks like that and decamp to Italy? Quitting her job with no notice, nowhere to go when she gets there, no plan in place, what about money, work visa. Not a short trip away like us in the UK. Ben does seem to have decided to do something, leaping in front of her car for starters. Of course Ziggy is upset but it is her mum's decision so has to respect that no matter how mad it seems. E all know you like fussing around people, but no, no and no Marilyn you do not do that. I didn't blame John at all for losing his temper. You ask someone if you can help, you don't just jump in and start cutting up their food for them, doesn't matter who they are, husband, wife, child or parent. She would have hated it if John had done that to her. I think her arm was immobilised when she got burnt but I don't remember anyone who shouldn't doing it to her. I didn't blame John one bit for losing his temper. Anyway, Tori said the specialist had OK'd him having his first solid meal so wouldn't it have been specially prepared for someone in John's position and been in bite sized pieces? He can use his left arm/hand so could just use the fork to pick up the meat/veg. He did seem relieved to be talking to Ben and sympathise with him and be able to talk about something other than his own problems. I have said it before, he is paralysed on one side and he has got a long way to go but he has got his speech so can make himself understood about his needs and how he feels. Maybe Marilyn should ban herself from visiting. Good to see Alf has realised how much work John does. We didn't see or hear Marilyn's answer to Alf's very important question. It is possible to blow up a balloon single handed, but there are people, like you Red, who can't. Like some folk can whistle and others can't.
