Yes the mythical Sarge but now we know he exists can he now F-off again. He was an absolute bully towards Rose, she's been doing his job while he's been in hiding, doing his press conferences as he couldn't be bothered. When did we actually see a Sarge at Yabbie Creek nick? Being devil's advocate he may have his superiors on his back but still no way to behave towards his staff, well one in particular. Local cops do have a fine line to tread with interacting with the locals, they live with them so as was mentioned later they know them. So what if her boyfriend knows Tane, so does she. Cash handed Leah and Justin's money back to them, that Suzie has stolen, without letting the police know it had been recovered so she hasn't been the only one to let things go under the radar. She stuck to her guns about waiting until it was proved Sonia was Poppy's mum before putting it out to the press about Tane having taken her. I was on her side actually, it going public could result in him making a run for it, currently he's local we're guessing, so could come to his senses and bring her back. Now it's out there someone will come forward and say this guy has been buying baby clothes, nappies, baby food and all the other paraphernalia. Seems Mali is trying to get Tane to speak to him too. That is why I'm suppose Rose was so heavy on Theo but he in no way helped himself by taking off like he did, because he knew Valerie has stashed the drugs in one of the guitar cases, was it his? Eden's comment to Rose being along the lines of she knows us and have nothing to hide but her co cop was here and he would have reported back to Callan. If, that fatal word, there was nothing to hide he would have stopped, all it was a broken tail light, nothing criminal, just been told to get it fixed when you get home. Now they are all in deep . Lyrik may like the odd drink or six at times but drugs, the illegal kind - never! I suppose Kirby will get it the neck by keeping quiet. Did Remi duck off to see Stevie, I thought she had gone? Justin has lived through Theo's turbulent love life before, Chloe, Kirby and now Valerie so has been there, done that. He did mention what drugs can do to you as he and Brody had been down that path. Well I liked it. WOW and double WOW - Justin certainly pulled it out of the bag and showed Leah should have had a lot more faith in him. It was a beautiful place, very stylish and not OTT well not in mho. Do we know where it was actually filmed? I've Googled it! Despite the comments on H&A FB forum the top of the dress wasn't as sheer as it looked. Everybody looked very smart, even Valerie, guess that was a little something she found in the city. That was an interesting meeting between Valerie and Ava, Valerie looked very put out, this young girl flinging herself at Theo. I did wonder how their reunion would go but I guess Ava has grown up a lot since then. Had a quick Google and Justin and Leah have been together as a couple since 2019, but of course they have been off and on again during that time. Maybe it was a metaphorical aisle. It was a bit of a tease with VJ turning up at the last moment and Justin's cryptic note at last making sense. There weren't many regulars there but there were the usual Wedding extras. Tori's 'going rogue' speech was very heartfelt as were Leah's and Justin's and John did a great job, and no caustic remark from Alf. It was a relief it didn't rain, one thing Justin, or anybody, could have controlled. Good explanation of why Grace wasn't there, it would be hard bringing over a two/thee year old on a 23 hour flight and as she said Christian was working. That was sudden Marilyn not going because of Lindsey being in hospital so she decided to go to see her. Where are Leah and Justin going on honeymoon, are they going back to Cyprus with VJ? Will Leah be changing her surname to Morgan? I guess we needed a break from all the other drama going on and it was good Justin and Theo's exchange happened at the end, Theo's a rubbish liar. Though I dare say there will be some drama when Justin and Leah come back from honeymoon and she finds out what Theo has been up to and the fact Justin had hidden it from her.

Was good to see Xander and Bree finally agree the kiss was just a drunken kiss and it won't affect their friendship, I'd like a friend like him, so easy to talk to, he makes no judgements, just listens and gives good advice. It seems Tane running off with Poppy - sorry Foelfan - I feel the same about bub - YUCK hasn't been made public knowledge. Maybe the cops have decided to keep it quiet for now, they won't want the bayers tracking him down and him making an even worse decision. The cops indeed could track his mobile signal. I do have the feeling when/if Felicity finds out she could talk him round. Harper is the only other one to know. Irene did have it right, Tane is an adult and it was his decision, he let his emotions tale him over. Leah had talked to Irene about VJ returning, as he is walking her down the aisle, but got herself in a tizz by poking around and finding that ? on his attendance on Justin's paperwork. Wonder if Roo will be at the actual Wedding seeing as she ducked out of the Hen's Night? In the preview we did see Tori there and Theo returned in time thank goodness, though he won't think so now his secret is out. They did show the occasional reminder Irene does allow alcohol in the house as long as she knows about it. I'm guessing though her champers was alcohol free. There was a lot hanging on the coroner's verdict on Crystal's death, misadventure is a tad vague so the police wouldn't be interested. We're not in a position like Stevie's, her career depends on what had been decided. Cash hadn't done anything wrong with his guarding of Stevie despite her rebelling now and then and she did appreciate it. Flick, was in a way, in the same place with that guy who was pursuing her, he drugged and raped her then blackmailed her so could sympathise. Only so much Cash could do with nothing to go on he's stuck. Maybe a silly question but why didn't Cash check that guy who was collecting Stevie was who he said he was. It's here at last - seems ages from when they first announced it to everyone but it was only a month. I think when we see it night after night we forget it could still be the same day to them. Has Tori come on her own? Grace must be two/three? We did see it was an outdoor one and looked lovely.

That certainly was a switch from the usually affable Mali we know and love, I had the same thought Slade suggested maybe a throwback to police tramping round his home when he was a kid, those things would stick with you. But also it is Mac's house so she could have said "I'm fine with it" when Rose asked to see Tane's room. I didn't think she answered Rose, Mali just jumping in? The police at this point can only look, they can't go opening drawers or opening cupboards. An actual warrant does give them the right to rummage around. Besides it was obvious he and Maia/Poppy wasn't there, I think they would have noticed a baby crying. Poor Levi, OK maybe not the best title for him, but he has got caught up in a whole situation he didn't see coming. Thought on his feet as usual by telling Rose he was calling on his outpatient to see if she enough meds.. Would a top surgeon actually do that? Yes, yes it doesn't excuse Tane for snatching Maia/Poppy but he isn't going to hurt her. Jasmine snatched Gracie when she was having her problems letting her go. Unlike when Mick grabbed Luc we didn't know if he'd keep her safe. Sadly I don't think Rose and Mali can come back from this. Could Tane be in the famous motel where everyone goes, he would have to buy stuff for her. Give Dana a bit, only a little bit mind, of credit she went straight to the cops and owned up to Rose, at least, that she let Tane in to see Maia/Poppy - oh and ND's does have CCTV! We'll excuse Harper blasting off at Rose as she didn't know the full truth then, that only came out when they made the second visit to Yabbie Creek. Harper has covered for Dana a lot, OK the drugs thing wasn't anything to do with her, but she had covered for other things. Then when it did come out she got all she deserved, even if it was from a good place, she could have stood outside the door to prevent him doing what he did, seeing someone would I hope have given him pause for thought. Then Sonia - mum we hope - turns up! Wonder where she works/worked? Seems from what was said in the interview between Harper, Rose and her the correct procedures are being followed. DNA, then health assessments, financial help, somewhere to live, someone to help her cope. It was her then who dropped off the POPPY bracelet - if The Surf Club had CCTV maybe they may have spotted her back then. Whose instinct was right on that, Harper, Roo, Dana? Rose did what she hoped it pricked her conscience and that little add on of Rose's about knowing your history tipped her the right way. I can see, kind of, why Sonia isn't happy about Poppy being called Maia but on the other hand I think I'd prefer my baby was called by a proper name rather than BABY X which seems rather cold and impersonal. At least giving them a name shows that the people looking after them care. We did need a bit of light heartedness and we got it with the Xander/Bree/Felicity comedy. That is so not gong to work Bree wanting to avoid Xander by wanting to know his shifts so she doesn't go in Salt, but as they live together if he isn't there he'll be at home and she can't be at the hospital all the time. Actually there isn't any need for her to avoid him they are both grown ups, she made a drunken pass, true it was on a good friend and so could make it awkward but he's a big boy and he's accepted it as that. What if it had been the other way round would we be seeing that as something completely differently? Felicity did get it right Bree can't avoid seeing Xander, she tried that with Remi, it's a small town. Flick as per normal lately is behind on what is going on with Tane, has she not clocked he hasn't been in the gym?

Pretty sure she shouldn't have taken that photo of Maia which she gave Tane but then she went a step further and let him stay behind with her alone, btw isn't there any CCTV at ND's? I saw the light come on in his eyes when he got the not-so bright idea of snatching her. He's so not thought this through either, where and how is he going to look after her, feed her etc. I know Rose's hands were tied, the AVO order came from above her pay scale but to me the most logical/sensible thing to do was to let him visit Maia one more time but under police supervision, but hey what do I know about Aus law on this subject. The mythological Sarge didn't show again leaving Rose to break the news to all and sundry that Maia was going to be fostered. Actually Rose, imo, was the best choice to tell the locals, she is one of them and she knows how much it has affected all of them so could emphasise better. Roo did better than I thought she would having to say goodbye to Maia. Then the bombshell, mum turned up! First DNA will be need/have to be taken to prove she is actually Maia's mum, look what happened last time someone turned up claiming to be someone's mum and it wasn't, she will need health checks, mental and physical, the police and health officials will want to know why she did it, she isn't a young kid, looked as if she could be in her 30's and she had looked after Maia for three months. Said before but we don't know her circumstances. If Tane hadn't gone walk about with her, Maia would stay with the emergency foster parents until mum's been assessed and even then she'd be supervised for a suitable period. I feel Justin did the right thing but not letting Leah in on the Valerie/Theo drug taking debacle. Leah, being Leah would have postponed the wedding again to go and sort it out. As it turned out Theo rang her himself, after I'm guessing getting about a million calls from Justin and Kirby, to let her know he and Valerie are in the city. Yep the WEDDING of the Year is next week. Oh Leah got her dress and she's being traditional about Justin not seeing it until the day and staying with Irene the night before. I did have the jitters when they were laying it on the counter in the Diner, could just see someone knocking a cup of coffee over it. Did love Justin's wind up about the dove being sick. It was quite a turn around for Irene to be backing John, I think she saw how much it means to him to get it right. I can't wait to see Alf's face when he realises who the celebrant is and hope he feels suitably abashed when John does a marvellous job of it. Just hear him saying "You did pretty good there Palmer" which for him would be high praise.

I didn't think he was talking John but I could be wrong. I thought John had had it all sorted but seems not . Maz's tarot card reading was spot on, but it's not Justin deceiving Leah, it's Theo who's being deceptive. when Leah rang the cake makers only to find out Justin was way ahead of her. She must find it so frustrating not to be involved at all, trust him girlie. Did not any of them notice Valerie's odd behaviour? She was being very obvious earlier on Theo had to ask her to stop making it so obvious. Theo, to me at least, doesn't seem to be so affected as he was when he first started taking them, is he taking less or none at all, he kept turning them down when Valerie offered them making an excuse each time. Of course as had to happen things were going swimmingly about the band not being paid as they were willing to play for free but then Justin came round and said he was OK with that but had paid Theo for this new equipment so that blew that secret open. I suppose it was the last thing Kirby wanted to do but had no choice. Theo was stuck in the middle with that row - OK argument - between Valerie and Kirby - he's Kirby's friend and Valerie is his girlfriend. Valerie, naturally used the tired excuse of any addict "I can stop anytime I want". OK Bree was totally blotto but snogging Xander was out there. it proved to us that Dana does have feelings for him and Bree didn't know Dana was behind her.

Panic was soon over but not surprising Cash lost it with her, he is being paid to protect her, I liked how Flick was in Cash's corner when Stevie had a whinge about him more or less saying do as he asks or fire him. I don't suppose she gets many people standing up to her. It was pretty bland background in Remi's bedroom so no clues as to where it is. Remi been replaced then by Cash as Stevie's co-star, will they click as well as Stevie and Remi did? Hoping not in a way as it could cause trouble as in them taking it too seriously if you know what I mean. I guess Xander didn't want to take the chance, you know how it is think it'll be OK but someone else has seen it and flashed it around. I did at Bree's comment about Remi getting plenty of exercise, nudge, nudge,. Neither Xander or Flick were fooled by Bree's not bothered attitude, yes I know they are no longer together but if one half gets together with someone pretty quick after the split it's not usually being spread around on someone's social media page. I'm going back a few eps but when we saw Bree's hair when she was talking to Flick on outside Salt was it just me or did it look like it had a lot of extensions in it, it looked huge! Leah was being hard to rein in about the wedding plans - she has got to choose her dress though prompting Irene to say what I was thinking - great minds think alike. This person Justin was talking to - a secret guest which is going to be a surprise for Leah. Both mentioned VJ who is walking Leah down the aisle so not him, any ideas peeps? Fair enoughski, but then it depends who thinks Lyrik are 'famous' some don't and wouldn't know any of them if they fell over them.

Nowhere in that vid did it give away were they were, very neutral background so could be anywhere.

At least while Jacob was away Bree could have a normal life. Jacob did hit her, she had to wear sunglasses to hide the bruise near her eye. Rather awkward scenes there with Mac, Eden and Imogen, her bumping into them was by chance but Mac did ask Eden and Imogen up for coffee so did bring it on herself. Then Eden revealing Mac had been Levi's patient, more awkward moments. I'm guessing Imogen knew Levi had treated someone in the bay but not who, patient confidentiality and all that but Eden wouldn't have that restriction. Wouldn't Levi's ears have been burning like a furnace with them all talking about him like that? He and Mac did hold it together well. Another meal NOT paid for . I suppose Imogen could put Levi's distance down to his job, he's not your average surgeon but a top notch one so it would bring it's own stresses so must get to you after a while. Anyways Imogen's bright idea of moving to the bay wouldn't work he'd still have to travel back to the city, how far is it btw? Imogen is sweet, but I hope I'm not coming across as being anti Imogen but maybe too sweet? We don't know what she is like behind closed doors, could she be a bit on the controlling side? Strange but true when Mac told Tane and Mali that under other circumstances she felt she and Imogen could be friends. Where did Levi get off by ranting at Mac for talking to his wife he can't control what she, Imogen or Eden do when he isn't around. Mac didn't need Mali and Tane to be there 'for her' she only had to have called out if he had turned aggressive. We did need some light relief which Flick, Stevie and Remi gave us. I thought Stevie said it needed a man as it was a rom-com, clue is in the name. OK Stevie fancied a change of scenery but maybe sitting outside in the front garden wasn't a good idea, yes it's a cul-e-sac so no through traffic but the kids on the bikes may have recognised her and told their mates so not surprising Cash had a go. The back garden and pool would get very samey but no clues as to where it is. Then biker guy aka Remi, who doesn't seem remotely bothered she is. I'm supposing this self tape things is OK as long as it doesn't give too much of the background scenery away. Stevie and Remi worked well together, the roles they were playing her a posh bird, him a struggling photographer - totally different lives - echoing him and Bree. OK Bree's not posh but they do have different backgrounds. Cash's panic when he came back and found Stevie had vanished, although we know we she is, she could have left a note though I don't suppose things like that occur to her. Just as well they weren't recording those last scenes.

Who's to say John wouldn't want to be anyone else's celebrant - Justin & Leah's wedding just gave him the idea and the price and work that went into it didn't put him off. Though I don't suppose there would be many other weddings in the bay itself, he may come across as doofas but he's got a big heart as we've seen before and he couldn't see any other way to give them a gift. But that's just my opinion and you are entitled to yours. Maybe just me but I feel Flick is still feeling guilty about 'robbing' Tane of having his own family so this was her way of atoning. Now of course Maia has a foster family what will they do with all those donations of toys/clothes? Remi did have other things on his mind rather than meeting a film star who just happened to be living over the road. But as we've seen that changes somewhat. But be warned Stevie you're a rebound. I got that re the broken leg aside, things you say without thinking. It may not have worked out with Bree and Remi, let's not forget when we first knew him he was a player never got serious with any woman but something about Bree got to him and he could have run when he found out about Jacob but he stuck around. I honestly didn't see it before but when I saw Eden with Imogen I thought yipes she, Imogen, looks so young. Anyways Levi was really getting his pants in a panic. Despite his warning to Mac who dodged out of her shift at Salt so they could have dinner there without her being around he couldn't prevent them running into each other the next day, it just had to happen. Mac wouldn't need to be a rocket scientist to know who it was walking alongside Eden. Levi must have had to think on his feet and quickly book a room for him and Imogen at that motel as we of course know where he has been really staying. There is the song Torn Between Two Lovers. Not totally sure how long Levi and Imogen have been a couple but maybe having busy lives and not spending a whole lot of time together can do that to a couple and he, at least, does love Imogen a different way to Mac. I'd forgotten Tane was in on the secret as he's had other things on his mind. That was one big blow up from Mac when Tane was ranting at Rose and Mali was trying to defend her, not that she needed it, but putting things into perspective her love life does come along way down from what has been happening with Maia. Talking of which that did come rather out of the blue an emergency foster family being found just as Roo has applied for the role/position. I know he's gone OTT but I think I'd be concerned if Maia was going to be OK in this new family. It'll be a big change of scene for Maia, quieter and she'll need time to adjust. I take it this they have done this before, but course SW would give them a good checking over and they'd be supervised to help them settle in together. I thought Harper was there but he blew up at Rose because of the AVO which he feels wreaked his chance and has stopped him visiting Maia. it was the first time we saw Roo holding Maia.

Who hasn't been tempted to make up to someone, anyone, to give the impression to an ex you are so over them, but it did take a good few drinks for her to go for it. Levi did indeed look terrified, especially as he and Bree's last meeting wasn't that friendly. I guess as he was mostly out of it when Bree and Levi met Remi may have got the idea they knew each other better. Levi telling Eden he wasn't sleeping with Bree is one thing we know is the truth. Eden had the super surprise for Levi of inviting Imogen to the bay - woopie do for him. How will Mac feel meeting the 'rival' seeing as Eden has had the brilliant idea of taking them to Salt. It did seem like Imogen suspects something is wrong as she says in the preview that Levi didn't look pleased to see her. Mali in the middle again with Mac and Levi, her hanging about downstairs while Levi went upstairs so it looked like they hadn't arrived together. Who is Levi planning to take on the boat trip? Oh I know does Imogen like sailing. Mac was distracted - again - with her apology to Xander, they raised a good amount. A sad goodbye between Bree and Remi, it did need to be done though, I may be one of the few but I liked them together, such a shame they couldn't resolve their perspectives on how the other should feel about their lifestyle. Mali is being so patient with Rose who does seem to be a tad obsessive with Maia, she's new at her job and wants to prove herself but it can't be healthy. I guess all partners of cops who are particularly into their jobs must feel like he does. I can see why she thought this anonymous donation of $2000 could be connected to Maia but if the mum could afford to give that much away she wouldn't be in the dire situation of abandoning her baby. I'm supposing Flick diverted her away from that thought without revealing who had donated it. The news that an emergency foster carer for Maia has been found will throw Roo's idea of doing it awry. Will she still want to be one or like Felicity only doing it for Maia?

The way Leah was acting was so over the top, just shooting down all of Justin's ideas so no surprise Justin walked out otherwise he may have said something he shouldn't have. It was funny that both Irene and Maz agreed she was being super bossy. OK so she's passed it all over to Justin, guessing that doesn't involve her choosing her dress, that would be weird. Is she having a maid of honour - Ava maybe? John is doing the celebrant role for the right reason though. Him knowing Leah and Justin gives him a big advantage to other celebrants as he can tell the guests their story, well not all, so it won't be just a speech and he'd mean every word of how much they mean to folks in the bay. Just hope John can keep the news to himself and won't be going round looking all smug. Flick coming over all starstruck when she walked in on Cash & Stevie. Cash now has to break it to her she's staying. I when Cash managed to squeeze in "I am here you know". Didn't take long for them to gang up on him. Flick was a right tornado, lovely thought of Alf offering a ride on the Blaxland as a prize. We have all come to accept that no-one locks their door in the bay but Cash being a cop you would think he would have even before Stevie moved in. I'm supposing Stevie is under house arrest in a way as she can't risk being seen outside - oh no we did see her in Cash and Flick's back garden but it's not overlooked is it? Been bit of a journey for Stevie, posh yacht, posh hotel then a humble - no offence Flick and Cash - home for her to stay in but she did say that is the kind of home she grew up in. Lovely gesture of Stevie donating an anonymous amount of money though dare say some will say it's very cynical. Eden after ranting at Remi - so he knows - about Stevie did calm down and accepted things, unlike some on other posts I don't think Stevie is after Cash or she is behind the stalking. Speaking of whom, Remi was harsh by having a go at Eden for spilling the beans about his break up, but people are going to notice he and Bree aren't joined at the hip anymore, it's only a small town. Glad they made up. Very EEK moment coming up when Bree walks into Salt looking sensational btw and sees Remi on stage, neither of them knew the other was going to be there Remi and Eden were press ganged at the last moment and Bree had said a few times she wasn't going. When did Mac get back? The way she and Levi were behaving you'd think they hadn't seen each other for weeks. Mali got his "Don't come home tonight" instructions. Then just as they were going to get all cosy - cough cough - Flick drops in like an atomic bomb and finally persuades her to go to Salt for the Fund Raiser. Just how, though is Mac going to explain the fact Levi just happened to be there to get dragged along.

Tane may well indeed care for Maia but as said his fighting and arguing over her bed isn't doing her any good, she may only be a baby but they can hear things like raised voices and pick up on the tension which will be causing her stress. He did leave ND's peacefully at least and went to Yabbie Creek nick with Rose and wow and double wow we saw even more cops!! Roo had no business lashing into Rose the way she did, poor girl is only trying to do her job, she gave Tane plenty of chances to do what was asked. He did finally agree to sign the AVO but he can ask Roo how Avia is doing as long as she isn't as loose lipped as Dana who was the cause of him turning up in the firs place. That is the problem with cops working in the same area where they are living. People around you are neighbours and friends, they ask your advice, you look after them but then sometimes you have to nick them. You know I haven't yet seen Roo holding Maia. Roo has sent off her app then, but it's not written is stone she'll get it. Not the wisest move on Theo's part telling Kirby about Valerie's brother, he is the only one she's told and he has betrayed that trust. It did seem to be an ultimatum her 'asking' him to take that tab/pill another one. Valerie is convinced she'll get kicked out if Leah & Justin find out about the drugs it'll be more the fact she's lied to Leah about getting more therapy and getting Theo involved into taking drugs. Didn't her family kick her out over the drugs? I do think there is more to her story than she's even told Theo. Bridezilla and Groomzilla both going OTT about the Wedding, can't even agree what to have to eat and where? Neither seem willing to compromise, yes we know it's Leah's fourth marriage so doesn't want to make a huge fuss but it's Justin's first so she should allow him to want to make it special. Going off an a tandem, no mention of Ava being invited? John got his Celebrant licence - - thanks to him 'marrying' Xander and Dana. Hope the door to the Diner was big enough for him to get his head through. He may be a doofas sometimes but he's our doofas. Leah ducked out very quickly to watch the vid, but apart from the beginning being a bit long winded Justin was impressed. Not the best idea of looking up vows on't net., but I think he meant it as getting some ideas for their own. He was trying to convince Leah to have a rethink about John but she was so down on the idea which is why Justin told John to stuff it. I said before he did a good job, may have been pretend, but he came across as sincere. Irene was very dismissive but Maz at the end did actually watch it. I said before I think they will ask him, after a lot and I mean a lot of grovelling to marry them.

I'm not excusing Tane and his behaviour but I guess if I, you or anyone found an abandoned baby we'd feel a certain attachment so would want to see how they are progressing and if there was any news about mum/dad being found. It is in Tane's culture which he had mentioned that they look after the baby and the mum if she is having difficulties until she can manage but not every culture is like that which is something he can't grasp. He is very good with her though and she is very comfortable with him. The actress who plays her is very lucky getting cuddles from a hunk like Ethan Browne. Of course he has likely wrecked any chance of getting to be Maia's foster carer. He has been very unfair to Rose, it's not her call he has to stay away from Maia, she asked Sarge if it couldn't be lifted and she was even lenient with him when she found him at the hospital but then she had to present him him with the AVO as another nurse, not Dana I'm guessing, rang the cops. Talking of Dana it was down to her that Tane turned up at the hospital. All she had to say was when Tane asked her how Maia was was "She's doing fine" but no her put foot in mouth syndrome kicked in and told him she had a slight temperature. Oh before I forget we actually saw another cop so others do exist - faint, shock, horror. Roo, for once, hasn't jumped straight in like she usually does, she's given it lot of thought, even OK'd it with Maz as Maia will be at the Stuart house so her routine will be disturbed. It was presumptuous asking Harper if there was some sort of short cut to hurry things up. She was seeing long term, getting accepted as an emergency foster mum while waiting for Tane to get his residency visa so she can hand her over. As if it would be that easy. Anyways as Harper said she may not get approved. I'd forgotten all about that drama with Sally and the run away horse but it was before his time. He is coming across as very Groomzilla, we needed some light relief. What is wrong about having a normal dance like a waltz? Both Leah and Justin were over the top with Kirby thinking she's still into Theo because of the way she is with Valerie, if they only knew. She is over him but she still cares for him. It did take her a while to believe he wasn't taking drugs anymore. Of course it had to happen Valerie caught her holding Theo's hand in the Diner, I was waiting for that to happen especially as they were sitting at a window table. He didn't help by lying he had to drop off an assignment. Theo does have the habit of falling quickly for his ladies, Chloe, Kirby and now Valerie. The fact he admitted he didn't take the pill Valerie gave him didn't go down well, making her think he'd let her down somehow and was seen trying to coerce him in to taking one.

Roo did, eventually, decide to go for it after reading all that bumf Harper gave her, it certainly cheered Tane up. I have probably said this before but would the fact Roo has had no experience of looking after such a young child, nappy changing, feeding, lack of sleep due to Maia waking up during the night, unless she's a good sleeper. Regular foster carers must find it hard to hand back a baby they've been looking after so a newbie like Roo would find especially hard. Natch SW/SS will need to check the Stuart house over. Roo was a bit of a rebellious teen back then and Sally was only a child herself. Fatal error in all soaps with people having private conversations in public places like the Diner and Salt and getting overheard. Fair enough it did involve someone who Felicity cares about and was able to put her twopennth in about how she nearly went for it, but realised she was doing it for the wrong reason. I saw the moment which spurred her onto suggesting a Fund Raising Night for Maia and putting Xander is charge, she is half partner of Salt and it is a very good cause so nuts to Mac. A baby, any baby can only play with a certain number of cuddly toys and she'll soon grow out of the clothes being donated so they'll be passed on to other needy babes. It did kick Bree out of her woe is me mode, even ducking work to feel sorry for herself. I think we all need a friend like Xander who listens but doesn't pander and tells it as it is. Theo and Valerie finally returned then, I'm guessing it was only a couple of days? Theo was lucky that he is one of those people who don't become dependent on drugs to get them by. Valerie, despite her initial protestations, does. I think when she first came to the bay, she was OK and felt 'safe' so didn't need them as much, but now has fallen back into bad habits - no pun intended. Can Theo fake being high enough to fool her? I hope he flushes that tab away, be a real shock if it fell out of his pocket and Leah/Justin found it. Or even worse, Buddy ate it! Leah & Justin would only blow a gasket if they found out about it by accident. Justin, particularly would understand if she came clean - sorry again no pun intended. You can add Dean to that list, he was really looked down on when he first arrived being a dreaded RB, but really turned his life round, Ziggy who went from a wild child to qualified mechanic, mother. Bella, who certainly went through some times but came through them. Though on the flip side there was her brother Colby, he started out a good cop but turned rogue and murdered his step father.

I did have a much loved teddy when I was little although he was quite bare but my mum threw him out because she though he was moth eaten. Okey, dokey Rose said only the medical staff and SW - aka Harper - could look after Maia but suddenly Roo is allowed in to stand guard - how and why? I can see why Alf is concerned because of Martha. Rose, to her credit seriously went into bat for Tane, even if he is coming across as being extremely stand offish and totally ignoring her I'm guessing he's blaming her as as Sarge isn't available to have a go at. Sarge though is not backing down, orders from above? Flick behind the news again but when she went to talk to Tane about it he was cool to her too. Big confession for her admitting to Mali and Rose it's all her fault why Tane got so attached to 'Maia'. Mali is being super boyfriend for Rose not judging, just being a shoulder to cry on, an ear to bend. The problem of Tane not being able to foster because he's not a resident isn't down to the cops, it's the Government whoever voted it in and still with them. Good discussion with Roo & Tane and how long it could take to get residency in which time 'Maia' could get fostered or mum/dad/other relative could turn up. Then his completely reasonable suggestion why didn't Roo go for it? OK she'll have to go through the same process Tane did without the residency problem. I don't know how involved checks like these would be but would there be a question that could reveal her having her own daughter adopted? She was only 17 at the time so very young but would that prevent her being an emergency foster carer? It seems Remi is dong OK at Reefton Lakes hospital and was behaving himself. Levi did find it hard to extradite himself from Eden - did you spot he payed for breakfast before he went? He did have to pretend who he was talking to at Remi/Eden's when she burst in on him, it must be quite tiring with all these coverups.

After all the to and froing about who was going to break the news to John they didn't require his services Justin and Leah took my advice and told him together. Having said that he didn't do a bad job with Xander and Dana's 'wedding'. I'm not the only one then to see there was a spark between them, they did appear to be disappointed not to have to kiss after the 'ceremony'. Maybe both are regretting their earlier "I'm not interested' stance. I'm guessing Bree was there to film it and pass on to whoever needs to see it to pass John as a Celebrant, though she was away with the fairies - thinking about her Remi? Going back to Justin and Leah I think they will decide to use John after all, that lame reason why Justin said no as he wanted John as a guest, he's only marrying them, he can join in after can't he. He knows them better than any other Celebrant would and be able to tell the guests how he's seen them grow as a couple over the years and how it has been for them both, without going into too much detail, but that they've come through it and are stronger for it. He'll mean everything he says and it'll be with love. Remi did deserve that serve, Levi laid it on the line about how stupid he'd been, he was very reckless and he's no shrinking violet and Levi is one straight talking doc. Even if Bree doesn't run into Remi at the hospital she will hear about him being admitted, especially if Levi was treating him there. Eden has been a true friend to Remi, going along with his wishes about not wanting to go to hospital - well ND's - but then putting her foot down as he was not getting any relief from the pain, calling Levi, who luckily, can't have been that far away who told him he's got to go in. It's been delayed but her outburst at Justin was I guess expected. He in her eyes/mind put a dangerous weapon in Remi's hands. She's feeling from what I could gather the same as Remi about getting in touch with him is a good idea or not. Like Xander being her ear to bend, he's good at listening to other people's problems, doesn't judge, offers advice whether it's taken or not. Once the Remi drama was over Eden got to cross examine Levi about where he really was, well we know, but his 'excuse' he was staying in a hotel in the city, which I guess could be true. I think, in a way, he is telling the truth about the baby issue, we know it's Imogen's plan and Levi was just going along with it. Even if there had been no Mac I think he would be unsure about it. That crept up on us didn't it, Roo now being Maia's unofficial guardian. No adverse comments I'm guessing from anywhere because she's a woman! Alf is concerned though because of the memories it may bring back for her. We're all real softies aren't we?

Had Theo had his three days? It was a week for us, but I imagine it would take longer than a couple of days to 'train' as a celebrant like Irene thought he'd been away. Justin could have turned into Groomzilla with his big ideas, but I agree with him no way should Leah be cooking her own wedding meal. John does really mean well and he's done it with the best of intentions, it's done with love. They certainly won't need any big Wedding presents will they? The discussion between Leah and Justin as to who should tell John thanks but no thanks how's about both of you! He will be so crushed. John 'marrying' Alf and Irene. Of course he would have no idea about Bree and Remi breaking up when he suggested Bree and Remi be his test couple, not sure it's public knowledge. Talking of whom, that is where Eden was, she followed Remi to his parents. He was narked that she told them he and Bree and split, what was he going to say when they asked how she was and when would they see her again. Did they not notice the state he was in when he got there, but then again they didn't visit him in hospital did they? He was giving her 'space', maybe himself too as he is too wound up about the bike, his feelings for Bree to think calmly. Well that pshyio session with Grant went well didn't it? He is pushing himself too hard so he doesn't have to think about ykw. Even if Eden had called an ambo Remi can't be forced to go to hospital. She nearly called Bree, but wisely didn't. Next port of call Levi - but unlike us she doesn't know he's not in the city as of course you can be anywhere with a mobile. He has been rumbled as Imogen thought he was in the bay, Eden thought on her feet there and covered for him. He'll need to think on his feet when Eden tackles him about where he really was. I'm kind of of guessing Mac and Levi don't come back together. Don't worry, you're not the only one Red about not wanting Cash to hurt the bear too much, it's not his fault, he was just being used as a mule. Luckily he just picked apart the bit behind his ear to find the camera. Actors/actresses do go to others prems, showing support for their fellow artistes. Shouldn't the agency be more careful as to who is sending what to their clients? There was a hint of a back story there wasn't there? Sounded like she'd been somewhat suppressed at one time in her past and getting into acting 'freed' her and she didn't want to go back there. Could they be the one behind the stalking? 'They' soon filmed Stevie and as it happened Cash, was the camera triggered as soon as teddy was opened? That was an innocent photo. People on H&A FB page think Stevie is behind it all.

OK, Justin's excuse for not inviting Brody to be his Best Man, has he actually been asked and said no btw or is Justin assuming he can't make it as he has a business, lives far away and a young child. [spoiler removed] No mention of Raffy yet. That was a lovely gesture of him to ask Theo to be Best Man, get your revenge lad for Justin making you buy the engagement ring. I did smile when Justin said he wanted to book this posh place - Charlton House - there's one near me by the way in funnily enough Charlton - as a Wedding is a once in a lifetime event - not for Leah it isn't. Slapped wrist there H&A. Leah as said was veering into Roo mode, so can't blame Valerie for saying she'd booked an appointment at the clinic just to get her off her back. If it wasn't for Valerie's hang-ups she and Theo would be good for each other, but woe betide Valerie when the truth comes out. Oh quick mention I did like Flick's retro dress - very 60's with that black and white design. yep, I'm showing my age. Stevie did say the police didn't think there was anything suspicious about Stevie's friends death though they haven't had the pm yet so something may be found internally if they do a toxicology test. Maybe it's good Cash is coming into it blind so to speak as he has no preconceived ideas and looking at it with fresh eyes. It does seem to be a very obsessed fan, I'm guessing the hotel has CCTV in the reception area so would get some idea who delivered it. If a real courier he could be eliminated from police enquiries but wouldn't a 'real' one knock on the door and stay there until someone opened the door. I've been watching too many real detective shows. Cash was very much the gentleman turning his back when Stevie took her dress off, he's got good measurements himself. Well of course he'd have to go to this red carpet thing, he's her bodyguard though he'll have to break it to Eden. When did Dana turn into Tane about how cold and calculating Maia's mum must be, I'm sure she never made those type of comments when she was brought into ND's. Very veiled comments when Rose, her and Harper were talking abut it and that the bracelet didn't lead anywhere so only Harper would have picked up on them. Odd that the Surf Club doesn't appear to have any CCTV but what Dana was doing must be against the law filming people dropping gifts off for Maia without asking their permission. It's an invasion of privacy, would she like it if people were filming her on their phone? Rose and Harper persuaded her to go and do her job, you know the one she gets paid for. It was said Maia is feeling unsettled, she misses Tane, she knows his voice, smell.

Has Theo got over his addiction already? Leah, unintentionally, stirred up a lot bad memories for Valerie and but then she veered into her pushy mode again. She, Valerie, had seemed to be doing better, maybe due to being with Theo, but now has gone off piste. Maybe the way she was acting was down to the fact she'd been off them for a short while and that is why it had such a way out there effect. Perhaps it was an escape to block out what had happened? Theo and Kirby's big row which Justin saw but didn't hear prompted him to ask Theo what it was all about and I'm guessing that could have serious damage in him and Kirby + Remi and Eden working on Justin and Leah's wedding music. I suppose it might cause a bit of awkwardness if Theo and Valerie were dating even without the drugs. Got a bit more history from her, her parents rejecting her at Josh's funeral which must have hurt. Theo has been the only one she felt she could confide in. That kind of came from nowhere the fact that Harper and Dana came from a dysfunctional family but it does explain why they are so close. I wonder if that is why Harper became a SW to help other families who had been there, done that. Dana had the idea 'Maia' had had a tough few months but from the condition of her, how healthy she looked and had such lovely clothes I'd say that wasn't the case. As Harper said mum could have been suffering from severe post partum syndrome, like Bianca had after she had Rocco. Harper is the oldest btw. Harper had protected her from the worst of it, but that sort of thing will always have a lasting effect. Xander was a good shoulder for Dana to cry on, he just listened and offered advice which she took as they made up. Cash was brow beaten somewhat to watch Death Throes, but it did give him some idea of who he was looking after. A shlock horror it appears. when he jumped at that scene when the cat jumped out! Mind you I did that at the end of Carrie even though I knew it was coming. It did give him a lead for him to follow up on though - 2346. Where was Eden, Remi is off seeing his parents so not baby sitting him, visiting Imogen as Levi is away?

Just in case we're pondering - in H&A land it's the end of Feb/start of March so a month until the wedding would be the beginning of April. Justin made contact with Tori, will Brody and Simone and Mason be coming also Raffy? Leah did mention the other day about no question of not having VJ there but will we see him and Luc? Maybe and it's a big maybe if Peter hadn't been so aggressive in his interviewing Tane he may have got some answers to his questions. Of course Peter would have complained to his editor but I bet he put his spin on it. I guess Yabbie Creek cops had no choice and as you said Red the never seen Sarge doe he actually exist? - had no choice but to get Rose, as it is her case, to tell Tane to leave the hospital or he gets an AVO. I like to think Tane left voluntarily so as not to make Rose do that as she is a friend. I know Maia is only a baby but I think she'll miss Tane, she's got used to his touch, voice. Flick does seem to be one step behind everyone and had only just found about the article about Tane and although advised not to she did go and see him, they may be separated but she does still care for him though not a good idea to mention the emergency fostering idea she had. Is it really a good idea to go back to work in the mood he's in? Another one not taking advice was Dana going to see Tane and admitting it was her fault Peter the Wolf got involved, but she obviously felt she had to see him in person, then going back to see him at the gym - leave it now girlie. It was good that Xander was there for her, even if they don' become a couple I can see them being good friends. From what Flick said to Xander before she dashed off to the hospital, Mac has gone away for a few days but not where or if she is alone or with someone - but we know - nudge, nudge ,. Re all this 'family' talk, Mali was an old friend of Dean's so I guess both he and Mac considered the other as surrogate family. We obviously saw that flashback of Valerie on the beach and popping a pill for a reason. I just had this feeling Leah wanted to speak to Valerie alone by suggesting Justin and Theo go for a surf. As I thunked Valerie was a voluntary inpatient at the clinic so perfectly able to discharge herself even though it was mentioned to Leah Valerie's counsellor wasn't sure she'd made the right decision, would that be ethical? Valerie wasn't willing to open up to Leah about why she was there but had no problem with Theo did she? It certainly stirred up a lot of emotions and it resulted in her begging Theo for a pill just to get her through this current upset. Does he really not have any or has he finished with them as he feels he doesn't need them anymore? She did have some money of her own then, but now it seems to have run out. Maybe she had sort of allowance and got a certain amount each month? Remi's popped off to see mum and dad then, long journey on that bike and still not healed, odd how they never managed to make the journey to see him when he was in hospital. What will he tell them about his break up with Bree and why? Kirby was up for the band to get together for the wedding, Remi should be fit enough for it by then. Theo being on drugs or not a difficult subject to talk about. Will Justin be writing another song or use the one he wrote before?

I may be wrong but didn't both Roo and Harper go to see the paper's editor? I bet the journo - Peter - was well pissed off being ordered to go and get the other side of the story which is what should be done in any story like this. No surprise he took it out on Tane, charging in like that flinging accusations about! I was gong to say maybe not the best place to interview/interrogate him but seeing as Tane won't leave Maia's side he didn't have an option. How Handy Rose was there so able to step in and I'm not being sizeist as I'm only little, but she did well separating Tane and Peter and that warning figure she pointed at Tane - well I'd think twice. Did make you wonder what Peter is going to write now? He was also very sneery about Rose's handling of it. Now Roo is muscling in - sorry - helping Mali run the gym, she has got experience of admin and between her & Mali they can run it until Tane comes back. Tane's poor staff need something to do and maybe not such a surprise he was still paying them, they know what they are doing. Mali was just remembering how Xander and Mac stepped in to help him when he wasn't able to run his surfing lessons so was paying it forward -the community looking after others again. Ah yes that bracelet Roo did seem to be getting obsessed about it, it did look new and didn't look cheap so maybe mum/dad could have left it for Maia. But then again maybe another mum had lost her baby - Poppy - and Maia has 'lost' her mum so it's a way for her to give something to another who has lost someone. It didn't, from what Rose said they'd any luck in tracing mum in the local area which must be frustrating. Remi put forward a very valid argument about surfing can be just as dangerous as motorbiking but Bree as any surfer would say it's not the same. But er yes it can be - broken leg/arm at least, broken back at worst, getting knocked off your board by a rogue wave, getting knocked out by said board, drowning which if it doesn't kill you could if you are saved result in being in a coma and possible brain damage. Kirby could relate to that as she had been put off surfing for a long while after her accident. Methinks Remi is pushing himself to get over the breakup and is possibly in a lot of pain we couldn't see. Seems Valerie hasn't been totally honest about her release from the clinic though her going in must gave been voluntary.

I didn't catch what Cash said before but he repeated it so caught it this time. The dreaded dodgy kebab they have a lot to answer for don't they? Stevie is no cook is she but took no offence of Cash turning his nose up. I'm guessing there was a valid reason why they didn't use room service seeing as it wasn't the hotel's food that made Paul ill. She has agreed not to phone Cash every 20 seconds and Omar certainly looks like he can look after himself though best not to eat Stevie's food. Levi and Eden made up kind of and took my advice that it was best to avoid talking about dad. Could be reading too much into it but I was wondering if talking about dad stirred up a lot of buried feelings for Eden which is why she was having a go at Cash about not answering his phone when he was at Stevie's? That was one very close call for Mac and Levi, Alf would have said something even if not directly, Levi blamed work again for his not going home to Imogen and this impromptu going away, she doesn't like him doing work away from the city as it is and the bay is a only a shortish drive away isn't it? I'm surprised she hasn't made a quick visit to see Eden or drop into to see Levi at ND's. I guess we tend to forget that although it may be the next day for us viewing wise it could still be the same day for them in the bay so it can get confusing time wise. Leah certainly did seem a lot better and relaxed and the date has been set a month from now or then in their time. Just had a quick Google and it's not that easy to become a celebrant so John may have to have a rethink of what he wants to do to help Justin and Leah. Maz and Irene agreeing not to tell Leah & Justin about John's plan though knowing John as we do he will say Irene & Maz thought it was a good idea which was naught of the sort. Well that didn't take that long for someone to get their torch out and start sharpening their pitchfork did it? A committee member too but Alf soon shut them down. Not going to have more meetings are they about Alf's suitability as chairman are they? Grant did OK looked like Remi actually. From the way Remi has been moving his injuries seemed mostly internal as we didn't see any broken limbs and it was good to see for once a recovery that hasn't been rushed. How long was it Mac had her op yet there she was surfing is that likely? Mind you her ex doctor was at the beach so if she had had a faint he could have looked after her. Justin nearly dropped Remi in it with that off the cuff remark about him getting back on the bike and Remi trying to convince Bree he was just using as a phrase like getting back in the saddle. He doesn't want to drop Justin in it as he doesn't know Remi's devious plan. He was totally out of order expecting Eden to tell Justin not to say anything more to Bree, she's on her side after all, so advised Remi, strongly, to tell Bree the truth which he did which she didn't take well.

Stevie was coming across as high maintenance insisting Cash stay with her and not wanting change of guard, Paul was quite tasty actually. I'm guessing it was some allergy/intolerance Paul had that made him sick seeing as they had the same meal? Is Stevie going to insist it's only Cash who looks after her, the security firm must have come to an arrangement with Stevie or her guys. So far Eden is still in awe of her despite the 1000 and one phone calls. I'm supposing Stevie's putting on a big brave front most of the time but we are seeing her vulnerable side. I did wonder about Eden and her trust in Cash being tested, I guess you mean the time he will be spending with Stevie? He and Eden have a lot of history so I don't think he'll stray, she may make a play for him - her hero and all that. What happened with Eden and Levi's dad - not forgetting unnamed sister - does happen, not just an affair but husband/wife does actually fall in love with someone else so feel they have to leave as they are only making their husband/wife unhappy and themselves - kids pick up on all that tension. Levi, I think is the oldest so may have understood better. Could Levi be talking about himself and his feelings for Mac when he was referencing about his dad and the woman he left his family for? She and Levi are never going to agree about their dad so maybe a subject to avoid. Eden is going to be so hurt and betrayed, not only by Levi's actions but finding out it's Mac who she considers a friend. Good point there Slade yes we know how Bree feels about bikes and the crash wasn't his fault but she could have put her argument a lot more reasonably, thing is you don't tend to do that at the time do you? Your emotions take over. Oops we saw Remi on the bike and he confesses to Bree. We and most of the bay know Tane but as said the gutter press don't and the people who don't know him will be lighting the torches and getting their pitchforks once they've read those innunendos and heavy hints he's some sort of perv. There wouldn't have been anything said if it was a woman would there, it's because he's male and the baby is a girl. Roo does have the right idea that someone should stick up for Tane, but we know what Roo is like and does go at things like a bull at a gate, shouldn't she ask or consult Tane first? Look what happened last time with SO. Talking of her getting over involved what happened to the Food truck Marilyn was helping out at and Roo took over, is that still going? We haven't seen Dana since the reveal but I guess when we do she will come in for a lot of flak. Ok she didn't know he was a journo but she still blabbed away to a complete stranger. I'm guessing she could get into trouble at work too as she was giving away information about a patient. I know Rose has been divulging info about 'Maia' but only essential info, photo, estimated age, what she was wearing etc. no name.
