Not so much as Iluka nicking - sorry borrowing - $8000 from the Allens then, more personal than that, Iluka and Nat had a fling/thing - I did get that sense when they appeared not to be that eager in getting it back when it was offered by Mali. Nat wanted a confrontation with Iluka - to teach him a lesson no-one dumps an Allen then rips them off. Now he's been kidnapped. is there anyone you like RR? I suppose in a weird way him being a doc he knew how what had happened and how to treat himself. Improvisation I guess they call it. The Allens' wouldn't have done themselves any favours if he had died, they maybe thugs but not murderers. Awkward little talk between Iluka and Rose, and her warning him not to hurt Kirby, emotionally that is. He seemed fine that she is a cop until he got that call from Mali but played it very clever by saying nuffin. Very wise move for Mali not to say anything either as Rose can't be implicated. Mali does seem to like living on a knife edge, just as he gets himself out of one complication, he's in another one. Of course Mac would be angry at Mali, you have to lash out at someone, but he isn't to blame, he didn't know when Iluku turned up he was in the mess he was in. Is she also forgetting what he's done for her, kept her illicit secret secret, looked after her after her heart attack. You know the outcome of 'it seemed a good idea at the time' is don't you? Most of the time it wasn't. Not going right with the claim on the Diner is it, insurance have refused it - should we be surprised? Was that something not even included in the small print? It was a perfectly valid claim, Leah & Irene would have had paperwork to back it up. Now what happens with Bronte's 'claim'? Is rinses a new phrase? I thought Ava and Theo had got over the crush problem when they reunited at Leah & Justin's Wedding? I can see it would be disrupting for Ava moving back to the bay just for a few weeks. I don't know why he was fretting about Theo being busy at the garage.

You spotted my deliberate error RR - well done. I wondered who'd be the first to see it. My thoughts exactly - you hussy Harper undressing Tane with your eyes - while he was concentrating on setting up this incentive. Hope it doesn't run out of steam and he gets fed up with The Board putting restrictions on what he can or can't do. Yep definitely matriarch - Nat - I don't know if black leather has to be go to wear for bad guy/girls, but the wardrobe department could be a bit more original. Maybe Mac & Levi didn't have their more aware heads on giving Mali's address away so easily, did Mac say that is where she lived, Nat seemed surprised to see her? Anyways as already mentioned Campbell or Gordie did a much better job of getting into the Farmhouse, picking the lock which proved one thing they do know how to properly secure their property rather than smashing it open. But Mac & Levi were that loved up they didn't notice the door was open - . Mali did try to hold of the Allen's to get the money back to the them. Seems they want to 'speak' to Iluka face to face. Didn't look good for Levi, despite what we think of him. No-one deserves to get stabbed. Iluka did have the good grace to apologise to Kirby for his behaviour the previous week. It was nice to hear them share their dreams, but unlike Kirby Iluka is a little old and damaged injury wise to pursue his. Kirby is a fully grown adult so can choose if she wants to go to bed with someone or not. He does have the gift of the gab. I may be wrong but was that the first time Iluka has ran into Rose since Mali told him she is a cop? It turned out one of the claimants had a previous medical condition which ruled him out of getting compo which Maz mentioned at the coffee cart and was told to stop talking about it. They don't everyone claiming do they? The mystery phone call was from Ava then - maybe and giving her the benefit of the doubt she hasn't actually budgeted herself before. Maybe just given money by mum to go and get whatever is on the list. Just thought I've got this money I'll go and get all the groceries in one go. I'm guessing Justin is better at budgeting than she is. Theo is there to keep watch over Leah not that she needs a nursemaid/guardian.
-
Who was that phone call from, he mentioned a name but couldn't catch it. Foelfan - Just because Xander isn't dynamic doesn't make him pointless. He's one one of the quiet ones who people can turn to. I know he and Dana are clashing over Bronte but they did make up. Maybe for now just avoid the subject of ykw when they are together. We did get an answer as to how many bedrooms there are at the beach-house - four - three upstairs and one downstairs. I hope Dana doesn't gloat too much when she is proved right. I still think out of all of them John is more on her side. John may have got the wrong angle that Dana was jealous of Bronte taking up all of Irene's time because of her childhood. Irene did meet Bronte at the ward/department she goes to for her six monthly/annual check up for her cancer so it wouldn't be hard for Irene to think that is why she was there. One thing no-one had thought of Irene suggesting Bronte suing the Diner would be illegal. Is she going to proceed with it? Tane did think his and Harper's 'sleep-over' for want of a better phrase was a one night stand but at least after that rather awkward silence between them he did tell her that. He would have still thought she didn't see him as boyfriend material after that rather clumsy lunge he made at her on the beach, it was just after he had split with Flick. Though I can see he may be rather busy with this new project he's wanting to set up. Btw the bay has had it's fair share of bad girls who were redeemed. This course does seem to have given him a new direction in life wanting to stop young men/women to stay on the right path. Tane was more of wild one than he is now, Ari took him under his wing, the other bay folk took a chance on him and mostly it paid off. Alf's been appraised of it and it has his OK, all John now needs to do is to put it to the Board, hopefully Tane has got all the necessary paperwork, plans in place, covering all possibilities as much as he can. Although not the same as Nico was in the lifeguards it gave him a purpose in life, even if he did drop out a couple of times. It was nice to get a mention of Ari. Right at the end we meet the Allen's who I have to say did a better job of letting themselves into Mac's than Iluka did, he just picked the lock rather than bashing the door in. What if someone had been in? It seemed from what was said Iluka hadn't got he money back to them. I'm guessing Roo has gone on the trip to cover for Georgie Taylor taking time off for her surgery.

Rewinding again - sorry guys! When the Diner first reopened Irene was worried about lack of customers, but in the background there was a young blonde woman in a stripey top at a table by the window. Later on once Theo had 'dragged' more customers in - OK I know he didn't do that - there she was still sitting at the same table, hadn't she moved at all? While we know know Dana has got Bronte spot on as you said Foelfan she was far too quick to jump in and accuse her, she does need more proof. Why do you hate Xander? He's usually a good to go to guy, he steered Flick into making the right decision by making up with Eden. But he should have been more supportive with Dana. Have we seen Harper and Dana have a talk about Bronte since Dana's moment. Lovely gesture from John giving Dana those flowers showing his appreciation for her standing by him. Not being nasty to John but those flowers must have cost a pretty penny and we know he can be a tad on the tight side. He did drop in he had an averse affect from the benzine because of his heart. But NO WAY would John even consider claiming compo. John could be right about Dana that she feels jealous that she's being pushed out by Bronte. It had been briefly talked about by Dana and Harper about how rubbish their parents were and she skirted around John's questions about her parents. He didn't say much but I think he could be in Dana's corner, he'd certainly want to stop Irene being conned. Very valid point made by Irene when Dana challenged her about Bronte - Irene took her and Harper in, but Harper was supposed to be a short term guest, then of course Dana crept in and Irene kept quiet about her. Would Irene ask Dana to leave or will Dana suggest she leave for a while. Bronte did say she had been crying while 'waiting' at the hospital and Irene was the only one to ask what was wrong. Oh the mystery of the containers has been revealed - apparently there had been a bad storm and this ship had lost it's load. I'm guessing who ever it should be has taken it all away. It was good that Flick and Eden made up - they have been friends for far too long. Just needed a nudge from Xander and Cash respectively to get them talking. Laughed when Remi and Cash saw them strolling along hugging each other and Cash and Remi's comments to each other about how they were still in one piece. They can breathe again. Slightly awkward chat between Remi and Bree, her asking how it went at Stevie's funeral and him saying he was glad Cash was there, then Dana barging in wanting to ask about Bronte. Tane is back and ignoring Harper - deliberately or not. If it was a one off - he should tell her that.
-
Oh rewind a bit - Eden & Kirby walked out of Lyrik's house the other day and just left the front door wide open!! I know folk tend not to lock their doors but not even shutting it. I thought it was Dana and Bronte's first meeting, hence the third degree from Dana. Then finding out Xander is her boyfriend. People on another site do not like her at all but you had to give Dana full marks for picking up on Bronte's tales of her illness. She gets very evasive when asked questions then says she needs to have a lie down. She must have been pretty horrified to bump into Bree and got asked more questions this time from an actual doctor, so had to go home as she was feeling faint. May be wrong could Bronte homing in on Irene be personal or was she just a random victim? Money not exactly pouring in but then as cold this may sound they don't know Bronte like they do Mac. When did Bronte get this blood test she's been tested benzine positive for done? Have we missed a hospital appointment? More wriggling from her when Bree asked about it. That random guy testing positive for it yes OK if he ate/drank in the Diner and is now suing it would be his right as he likely would have been tested for it at the hospital. Btw Leah seems to have vanished again, she is co-owner so not down to Irene alone. That was an interesting conversation Bronte had with this mysterious someone she's working with. To be fair to Bronte and we may not be saying that very often but it was Irene's suggestion Bronte sue her - or rather the Diner. But she wasn't there when it occurred neither was Leah. Irene isn't thinking it through and Bronte won't be up for having to have blood tests etc. Poor Remi and Cash coming back from not an exactly happy event and walking into third world three. All because Flick hugged Mac and Eden got the wrong idea. Flick is in the middle, OK she has known Eden for ages, but Mac is also a friend even if she doesn't agree with her ethics but many people must have been there. Cash is also in between a rock and a hard place, girlfriend and sister. Then Kirby broaching the subject of Remi and Eden get a job - how very dare she! Funny how the rent has been mentioned, are the utilities included in it? What about food, other goods who's been paying for those? What was wrong with this bar Kirby suggested, it's not in the bay so Eden wouldn't be bumping into Mac or Levi.

WOW, faint, shock, horror Eden was looking for jobs! I can see why she wouldn't want to work at Salt, as seen Mac can pop in at any time, but this time it was to avoid talking to Levi. What about the Diner they seem suddenly very busy due to Theo. Eden did get the wrong idea of why Flick and Mac were hugging. I don't know if hate it the right word for the way Flick feels about Mac and her relationship with Levi, just Mac not mentioning it at work. and him hanging around. Still when he does start work at ND's, he won't be. Mac could relate to how Bronte must be feeling, although we know she's lying, she could have died. At least Mac did bite the bullet and spoke to him about it, he ought to reassure her he isn't going to cheat. I may be giving him a lot of leeway but perhaps that is just the way he is. Bronte has done well so far, Irene donating $1000, Harper $50, Leah - $500, think I've got them right, Salt - $2000. May seem very trivial but I do like Mac's clothes. From what we saw of the trailer, Bronte's stepping up the pressure - blaming the benzine for making her worse - she was in the Diner when she first pitched up but only briefly and didn't eat or drink anything. It also seems Dana's spidey senses are twitching. But Bronte has, several times, it's a form of autoimmune disease. I think what Iluka has done is coming out this week.
-
Before I forget two unrelated things - No.1 Leah is still Patterson - she said so in that phone call to whoever it was. No.2 Sarge has disappeared again, you'd think he would have been around after Stevie's shooting but no it was left to Chief Constable Delaney. No offence to Xander but he was 'only' a paramedic so wouldn't know the complexities of autoimmune disease and Bronte did say what type she had but reckoned she couldn't pronounce it. There are many types so sometimes even the doctors wouldn't know. It was very convenient she collapsed while she was giving her GoFundMe speech, but of course she couldn't really put one up as someone out there would know her as ???. She does like to introduce herself with the "I'm dying' bombshell, but it did seem make her step back when Irene introduced Xander as an ex paramedic. She hasn't met Dana yet has she, as Dana has been isolating with John and I don't think has come back home since being 'released', that'll throw another spanner in her works. She very likely didn't expect Irene to know three medical people. That's not counting Levi, but she doesn't really know him as such. Great news - the Diner has got the all clear so can now reopen - let's hope their loyal customers show up. Maybe Rose, Eden, Kirby, Mali could have a meal there to show confidence. I don't expect us to see Marilyn back just yet. Has Alf been kept up to date? Did I hear Leah say the fridge/freezers had to be replaced, if so why? I think, if I remember correctly the Allens thought he'd snitched to the cops as their place been raided. Iluka certainly didn't like Kirby taking Mali's side so stomped off leaving her in the lurch, but she still fancies him. It hasn't been said how old Iluka is but him expecting to get in the NRL would be a stretch and there is his knee injury to consider. He did nick that money to pay to get into the NRL He seems to have calmed down about the fact Rose is a cop, but now Mali has another secret to keep.
-
Mali was quick to jump to the conclusion we did though of course he knows him better than we do. That did seem odd Victoria and Elandra hadn't mentioned the fact Rose was a cop, if he's sticking around he'll find out soon enough so better that Mali fills him now. Are we going to see the equivalent of Mantaray Point's RB's pretty soon? Now he's got all that dosh he can chip in for his keep as it appears he's staying longer a few days. Iluka does think a lot of himself doesn't he? Boys and their toys eh. It does have darkened windows so of course he wouldn't have seen the driver. Mali panicked seeing Rose at the Surf Club in case Iluka came in. Has Iluka 'borrowed' this money to help him in these comps he's taking part in? Had to when Theo told Iluka he 'worked' in a family garage - well when he and Justin aren't strolling around the bay/surfing that is. It was the repairs to the water pipes wasn't it that caused the problem? It is only in the last few days that people have been falling ill. At least it is something that can be fixed but not cheap and that's not just the cost, it'll be getting customers back. Water would be used a lot in somewhere like the Diner, sinks for washing fruit and veg, a separate one for hand washing, I'm guessing they have a dishwasher - an electric one not a human. Coffee and tea machines. Great that Theo and Justin pitched in to help do the big clean. Remi was very good at persuading Cash it wasn't it his fault, though I know you don't agree Red. As said before Wickham was determined to get Stevie however long it took and if Cash had had prior warning he wouldn't have left Stevie on her own, but he couldn't stand over her all day or night. She was doing her filming on a beach with crowds of people around which Wickham took advantage of. I can't see the production company would let filming be put on hold until Wickham was caught. I thought it maybe Remi would feel out of place going alone so that could be another reason he asked Cash to go with him. I know we probably won't see it, but I'm guessing Nelson will be there.

I think we saw some scenes on the beach where people were distancing but nothing mentioned in any storyline. If Dana had been infected by John then she would have shown symptoms long before now. She spent the night with him don't forget. That was an oversight no-one picking up on the fact John had gone to the Diner, got himself a coffee and a muffin and come back. As an offshoot of this I'm loving John and Dana's friendship. She's been given the all clear and is willing to come back to work as of course they will be busy. It appears, if what Bree thinks is true, it did come from the Diner so it was Maz who infected John. They do have the same symptoms. We don't know if they showed symptoms at the same time do we? Different symptoms too, the customer being sick, the other guy looking queasy, Theo and Remi seemingly unaffected. Big ask of Bree asking Irene for names of who was there - she'd only know the staff and any regulars - others would be just drop-ins. OK the containers weren't the cause of whatever it is, but have the authorities discovered what was in it that smelt so foul and why it was in sealed containers? Not as suggested on another site the muffins then. Guy at table hadn't been eating them. Xander who was in the Diner when that woman vomited quite close to him wasn't affected nor was Roo so very random. Seeing as Xander didn't show any symptoms I'm guessing Salt is still open? Cash, in my eyes, didn't mess up. The threat, a very real threat, namely Wickham, was under key. Stevie would have had other zealous fans who love to be close to their idol, wanting to touch them, have selfies, but posing no danger and certainly wouldn't want to hurt them. Wickham was totally out there. Cash, being Cash however does think he failed, he does have a conscience. It could have happened in the middle of the night, Cash could have been asleep or is he supposed to stay awake just in case? Which is why I guess he won't be going to Stevie's funeral. Remi bullied - as if. Little mention of Remi and Bree giving each other space so he can decide if when/if they get back together, though of course at the moment she has other things on her mind. Looking like Iluka is going to be stirring up trouble - of all the cars he could nick it was Justin's. I liked Flick's dress.
-
But hasn't it now been ruled out it wasn't the 'container' it was something at the Diner - possibly Legionnaires'? John had gone there to get a coffee and it was when he came back he fell ill. That would explain why Dana had no symptoms. I know she was isolated with John - no other room available(?) - but I like the way she was with him. We saw the obligatory people in white suits looking at it, will we be told what was in them? Will they be looking at those chlorine tubs at the Surf Club, are the deckchairs and the gnome connected? If more people fall ill they will need more rooms. Certainly different symptoms, the diner throwing up, Maz collapsing, Harper and Roo apparently fine - very mysterious. I see why Xander was taken in, he kissed Dana so was a lot more intimate than Levi was with john. I was wondering if Dana would mention that fact - do 'they' know John went to the Diner? Mac stayed back but yes Levi did touch John so should have been kept in. If it is Legionnaires' which is usually associated with polluted air conditioning could that be down to the Diner - does it have air conditioning? We did see Irene telling everyone to clear the Diner as they had to close. OK Levi being at the hospital was explainable as he brought John and Dana in, but Mac catching him chatting (up) that lady patient got her spidey senses twitching. Oh he brought up before he didn't tell her about his contacting Imogen to 'protect her' . Mac casually asked how he got on at the hospital which he cleverly dodged as he isn't actually on their staff yet. The bay is a small town and we all know what they can be like - but then we are in the 21st century so no need to get out the tar and feathers. Levi for all his other faults is a good doctor.

Dana may well be one daft lass, getting all excited by what could be in those drums but John should know better than to cave in to Dana's imagining it's buried treasure. The environmental people aren't exactly dashing there to examine it or the those tubs of chlorine which if I'm not misforgetting used to be used in swimming pools. Dana seemed have got very attached to the gnome. What about those deckchairs - very Titanic. Very teasing that trailer - John collapsing yet Dana who was standing right next to him seemed fine, it's obviously some sort of contaminate. Having a new doc in the bay was very handy. It seemed random as to who it, whatever 'it' is affected and how as well, customer throwing up, Maz collapsing. Neatly done that little aside that Mali had told Mac about Iluka was staying at the Farmhouse. It's the fall out now for Mac & Levi, though why he felt he had to lie to Mac about who was texting him, Imogen is still his wife so he's not cheating. OK she was drunk, possibly, when she sent all his stuff to Mac's and there was a lot of it, but he got off light, she could have dumped or burnt it all. The rings an after thought? Mac actually listened to Xander about not going to see Imogen, what would she have done, put them through the letterbox if Imogen hadn't been there? Eden may or not have been right to tell Imogen where Levi was living but she'll need to know at some point - a person turning serving divorce papers for one thing. Once again a boss leaving her place of work leaving Xander to run it. I'm guessing most people, like Irene wouldn't know the symptoms of autoimmunity disease so could be fooled by someone like Bronte who could tell them anything. Comments on other H&A sites reckon Irene wouldn't be that daft - do they not live in the real world. Families and friends of ordinary people get conned into giving tons of money to someone who say they have cancer or an incurable disease, have to have these experimental treatments which you can't get in 'this' country. That is an early drop-in of a possible 'miracle' cure which of course isn't available in Australia and will cost thousands. I thought she would bring that up at a later date. That 'fall' wouldn't due to Bronte's condition caused bruising wouldn't it? Normally I guess Irene may mortgaged her house, sold her half of the business to raise money for Bronte or get the bay to have a Fund Raiser but that's been scuppered with this mystery illness affecting the bay.
-
Not as if Bree and Nelson were in a long term relationship so not cheating on him. Odd little drop in remark by Justin saying Leah's gone to the clinic - kind of check-up I guess - did tie in neatly with Irene coming back. I think Dana may be Bronte's undoing - Bronte hasn't met her yet. Yes, yes I may be getting way ahead of myself but she is a nurse so may have more of a clue if anything Bronte is spinning Irene isn't true. Autoimmune condition would, I imagine, be difficult to prognose specifically as it must be different for everyone so she could tell Irene anything. Did Bronte just hang about in the hospital waiting room looking for a suitable victim? Now she knows Irene is a partner in a thriving business has her own home, be rich pickings. Do Dana and Harper share - surely not - the bedroom opposite the bathroom is Harper's isn't it? Irene said to Bronte she had laid clean towels on her bed for her but it looked like she waved towards Harper's room but then Bronte went upstairs - confused.com. Not just pastries then, but other goodies, like beefburgers etc. Justin was inspired by having that BBQ, not just to use the food up but also cheering up the locals and giving themselves something to focus on after all that had gone on a few days ago. Mind you it did mean the garage wasn't open again. Roo certainly did turn into Alf there by ordering the others around. Irene is one sharp cookie business wise though and Maz was using her initiative but wasn't Leah there when the film crew were, plus fans so wouldn't she have signed off on it? Anyways, they were meant to be there a lot longer but circumstances took over which no-one could have foreseen. Not many people like Bree and Remi together but I do - so shoot me - oops sorry - bad analogy. Wise words from Theo after Remi said it wasn't that easy getting back with her, even if they did still love each other. Remi and Stevie were in lust, Nelson and Bree were a bit more serious but not in love or anywhere near it. Would have taken a lot for Bree to tell Remi how she still felt about him, he could have walked away and said absolutely no way. It wasn't one of those "We need to talk" talks though. You could see they do so still love each other, but Remi, is being very wise not wanting to rush into it. He gave her space when she wasn't sure which he respected so Bree should do the same for him. The bike will always be the hang-up but his accident wasn't your 'average' accident, he was run off the road by a lunatic - a drunk lunatic.

I meant the previous randoms that Tane slept with after his and Felicity's breakup. Flick did have a problem with seeing Harper seemingly hooking up with Tane at the time when they were innocently chatting. We saw how awkward Harper was when Flick came into the Surf Club. Having insurance for a star falling ill, having such a serious injury they had to drop out of a film or even dying is a given. Big stars have been replaced in big films Michael Gambon replaced Richard Harris in Harry Potter, Oliver Reed was replaced by a body double and CGI techniques in Gladiator. This was different though - Stevie was murdered and on set in front of her fans! So I'm Team Nelson. Anyways he has gone now, he didn't feel comfortable in the bay any more. Sad that it seems her burial is being held up due to Sidney's trial - did I get that right? Bree was very swings and roundabouts - she did like Nelson a lot - enough to be honest with him about her relationship with Remi and how complicated it was - not your average boyfriend/girlfriend thing and why she had to think about going with him and ultimately said no. What did Nelson have to forgive Bree for? As far as he knew as said before she & Remi were your average boy/girlfriend, not something you'd just drop into a conversation. Of course Remi had to see the goodbye kiss between Nelson & Bree and assume it meant something completely different. There is such a lot of feeling left between the two of them. He is so not in the right mood for driving off on his bike which is why Eden hid the key -Eden would stick her neb in - that is what friends are for. Eden torn between two lovers there - OK Remi isn't a lover but you know what I mean. May have been a tad too soon for Remi to accept Cash's apology for him admitting 'yes he may have taken his eye off the ball' and owned responsibility - but didn't see any danger as Sidney was locked up. This security firm is taking it's time as to who was to blame for not letting Cash know in time. Dana isn't a nasty person, just operates mouth before engaging brain. Maybe Xander will be a calming influence on her. Iluka isn't that much of a dodgy person it seems just hangs around with dodgy people. Unless of course he was being economical with the truth. A gentle warning from Mali to Kirby about Iluke who isn't supposed to be sticking around for long is he? He got introduced to Alf and Roo who naturally think he is going to be as hardworking and pleasant as Mali, let's hope they won't be disappointed. We don't have to hear it but we should hear that Mali has told Mac, she's got another guest. Was that story about him working in a garage and him taking apart the teachers car a hint that he may be working in the Garage at a later date? I have read reports on other pages about why Maz is giving out pastries left right and centre but I won't spoil it for those who haven't. Irene is back with a new friend - Bronte - in tow who we've already seen isn't as upfront as Irene thinks.

Alf can switch from wise old go to guy and give good advice to people then go to grumpy, nimby mood in an instant. He does keep you on your toes as you don't know which way he will jump. Maybe Cash was deflecting the unnecessary blame he thinks he should feel by having a go at Nelson. He did jump in there before giving Nelson a chance to finish. We could argue whether Cash should take responsibility for Stevie's shooting for ever. Sidney was the one that had been stalking her, he was locked up so Stevie didn't really need a 24/7 body guard, she chose to keep him on just to be there. She must have felt safe enough for Cash not to be there at the beach. Sidney's lawyer must have really be able to talk the talk to be able to persuade a judge to let him out on bail. His rep has gone right down the pan. Hope Felicity manages to talk Cash round - old sister/brother thing there - hope he finds out Nelson has stopped working on the film and apologises. I did notice that smirk of Marshall's - thought it made him "look at me - aren't I the clever one". smart git. Some on other sites thought Nelson was well dodgy but I liked him and it seemed I wasn't wrong to be on his side. to him for telling the producers to get stuffed wanting him to recast Stevie's role so they could finish the film, he showed real decency and integrity. Producers, though not all, just care about the they've put into a film/series and what they'll make. Nice talk he had with Alf at the new place for Stevie's memorial. It was still visible so not hidden away but could be visited quietly. He may well get a fine or whatever producers do if someone drops out of a film. Would have been bad enough if Stevie had died due to natural courses but she got shot right in front of him. I'm supposing Stevie's funeral will be near where her family live wherever that is so we won't be seeing it. Bit out of the blue Nelson asking Bree to go with him to Italy. Big decision for her, would it a kind of holiday for her, he'd be working after all, how long for, could she get that time off work? As she said to Rose she still feels ties with Remi, but maybe some distance would be good for both of them, not easy giving someone space when you live in a small town - how many times have we seen people trying that? Mali keeping another secret - which he is good at - I'd trust him with one. Bit squirmy when Flick rocked up and wanted to know what they were chatting about. Very awkward as Harper and Felicity had been getting on so well supporting Tane. I may be seeing it too simply but maybe Harper and Tane's coming together, as it were, was just a way of coming through all that stress. Tane is out of reach for now, as he said he and Harper will talk when he comes back and yes it is something that needs discussing face to face. It may have been a one -off, but still be friends or take it further. True sisterhood coming through there Dana working out where Harper had spent the night before and who with. She found it so funny and just couldn't resist teasing her. She is the one I'd be worried about letting it slip, she doesn't always mean to but can put both feet in it. I answered my own question btw - they are still living at Irene's. That one person did turn out to be Tane's lawyer - I know neither of them knew who the other was - but it was a tad more personal. Flick didn't know the randoms. 's and 's ringing when Mali suggested to Rose they go back to his as Tane, obviously was in the city and Levi and Mac were away so they would be alone - yeh right! Mali did actually lock up - WOW. Does Iluka usually break into places he's visiting? I'm guessing he knows Rose is a cop as he said their mum couldn't stop talking about her. Was he the brother who was always getting into trouble? He was a potential successful footie player but crocked his knee and got into a lot of bother. It seems he is hiding from someone so is hoping to hold up at Mali's. Depending on how long he is staying square it away with Mac now Mali - look what happened last time. Nothing wrong with being a normal person - not everyone can be exciting or as suggested - not very interesting - be very wearing for everyone. Most people in a town are 'normal'. They do have their moments.

I've never heard of this sentence ICO the Judge laid on Tane, must be an Aussie thing? Plus he had to attend this other course he has been sent to right away. Sounded similar to Justin having to do his Anger Management Course. There were quite a few cross examinations we didn't see from either side. Dare say if we had people on here and the forums would moan about it being dragged out. Why didn't Mali get called, he was, in my eyes, quite a major witness to Tane coming back. We have seen the bed in the gym before, more of a put-u-up/camp bed. Tane stayed there after he left the Parata house, Mac saw it and that is when she asked him to stay at hers. We - or some of us - mentioned Harper's crush on Tane before but to give her her due she has restrained herself while the trial has been going on. I'm guessing Tane dashed off back to Mac's to freshen up before he went to court to hear his sentence - was quick - and Mali just raising his eyebrows when Harper slipped out after. Some-one would have noticed she was still wearing the clothes she had on the day before. I know legally Tane and Felicity are still married but separated couples can and do sleep with other people. Are Harper and Dana still living at Irene's? The improvised smoking ceremony that Mali did was lovely and moving though Alf could have taken his titfer off to show proper respect, him being of the age he is that if a hearse went by guys took their hats off and bowed their heads. I'm guessing the surfing bit was more for the Stevie they got to know, her lively spirit which is why they shouted out her name.

Yep, hands up I did get it wrong, it was Marilyn who told John about Dana's rescheduled court appearance. Have you tried to interrupt John when he goes into one? I did say she was already flummoxed enough. There isn't a lot anyone could do about the floral tributes being left - even the sickening selfies people were taking it's an open space. The film crew had left but now although we haven't seen them, the press and other media would have descended on the place and some of them wouldn't be as respectful, pushing their mikes into people's faces and asking how they felt about it all. But I did like how he got Rose onside to stop that spiv flogging 'possible' illegal gear. It is only a couple of days but maybe and just my thoughts he was wanting to clear the beach so her memorial could be placed in a more private place so as not upset the locals with said selfie lovers. It turned Justin and Theo off from going on the beach as it would I imagine others. I'm guessing as a fan Mali would know Stevie had Aborigine(al) heritage which is why he wanted to hold the smoking ceremony. Having Googled it It does sound like a very moving ceremony and would be very fitting. Stevie may not have been everyone's favourite person but she put up Mali's board shop on her social page which has brought him in a lot of work which is why he wanted to do this. The 'chap' who was Tane's lawyer is Marshall. Both prosecution and defence lawyers are supposed to be as they were last night, it's their job. They either need to prove the defendant is guilty or not depending what side you are on. You'd want a decent guy/woman defending you, wouldn't you? But Flick has already admitted she was wrong to lie to Tane and it does still bother her and she blames herself - not so much him picking Poppy up - he would have done that anyway - but the fact he felt so drawn to her and protective about her because of her lying about wanting children knowing how much he would have liked a family. I guess she thought telling Marshall would be OK, he is on Tane's side, but he's going to use it for his own purposes without running it before Tane first. Just I was l starting to really like him and it seemed, unlike others on here always seem to think of any newcomer, he was a decent guy with no dodgy past. No real explanation for Sonia changing her mind. I guess we missed Rose's appearance in the witness box as she fetched up at the Surf Club and saw off t-shirt creep. Dana did a lot better, I thought, than she thought she would. All she had do was answer the prosecutions questions and tell the truth as she knew it. Tane died help look after Poppy which helped the other nurses. It was right that Marshall objected about the reason why Tane got threatened with the AVO, she wasn't there so wasn't a witness to him attacking the journo. She di know about the AVO actually bene put on Tane, all staff at the hospital would have been informed. I thought Dana did admit she'd let Tane in that night? Did we blink and miss Marshall's cross examination of Dana? I certainly didn't expect that from Harper, she is supposed to be the grown up and sensible one. She did, finally, listen to Tane and tell it as it was. Wouldn't Mali be called as he was there and he'd be back up for Harper?

Dana was trying to tell John why she couldn't do her shift, but he wouldn't let her get a word in. It didn't help she was flummoxed enough about the rescheduling of Tane's trial and having to psych herself up again. As we saw he had another go at her in the Diner and hey Leah and Maz have reappeared and she finally managed to get the words out. To give him his due he did humbly apologise. We did see briefly what she was being put through - all she can do is tell the truth as she saw it. Yes she was dumb, to put it mildly, to let Tane see Poppy one more time but he chose to steal away with her. Bit of a shocker that Sonia has changed her mind. Still no sign of Mali and Kirby. Two more 'missing' people showing up - Justin and Theo and their reactions to it all. Hear, hear with the comments about some people respectfully laying flowers and tributes to Stevie then the unspeakable ghouls, monsters, no words can effectively describe them, taking selfies of themselves where someone was killed. Trouble is it being a public place I don't suppose anyone can do anything about it. If Sidney was acting out 'his' version of Death Throes did Crystal's character get pushed off a cliff and did Stevie's die by being shot? I didn't think Stevie was that convinced about Crystal's death being an accident due to her fear of heights. It may be mentioned when he gets to trial unless he is declared unfit to plead. Bree did overstep the line. But although they may not be together she hasn't fallen out of love with him yet nor has he fallen out of love with her. Both their new relationships are/were new and the L word maybe a way off yet, if it comes up or in Remi's case won't. I think that is what Bree thought Remi needed. They did have a bit of a reminisce on when they first met and how attractive he found her. Theo returning the favour I guess, Remi was there for him and gave him words of advice. They were trying to give it a bit of a lift with Xander's comment to Levi and Mac about how he preferred it when their affair was secret following their snog at the bar.

I'm with Medea and Captain Hulk on this- it wasn't down to Cash not doing his job. It was the police or whoever was in charge of letting Sidney go without informing Cash's bosses earlier when he was let go. Stevie wasn't in danger anymore as the guy threatening her was inside or so everyone thought. He was the only danger. Sidney must have one hell of a lawyer to persuade the cops/the judge whoever that he was safe to be let out on bail. Indeed a trial can be classed as a mistrial if the jury hears/reads something that could prejudice their verdict, tough enough in the 'old days' but now with the net and social media even harder to avoid what is going on. Suppose for a moment it was you on trial for whatever reason, you're innocent of course, and the jury got to hear something detrimental which wasn't true and it swayed their verdict and you got sent down. With Tracy in Corrie the Crime Scene Examiner is supposed to to be an Expert Witness and it wasn't just her case that had to be re-examined, any case they would have been involved in. That happens in real life. Rose did well relaying the bad news about Stevie asking Alf and Nelson to keep it quite and Nelson said he'd let her family know. I get everyone, even the cops were panicking about Sidney running about but actually he wasn't after anyone else, Stevie was his only target, that is what I gathered from what he was saying to Cash. OK he knew it was Cash's place and that Stevie had stayed there but once again how did he know. Did he Google Earth it? He really wanted her dead didn't he? Of course this time round the police putting a media block on everything worked too well this time round as Sidney couldn't find any news about Stevie dying, he didn't believe Cash when he kept telling him it was so. Police training definitely coming in there with Cash keeping Sidney as calm as he could. Then of course Eden walks in after the police deciding Sidney must have gone so everyone can go home with police escort and walks into Cash being 'held' hostage. Cash did mange to overpower him although the urge to really hurt him must have been strong. Shows how unhinged Sidney is as he just went calm when it was confirmed Stevie was dead, he was living the movie as he wanted it to end. Bree was torn between two lovers - sorry couldn't resist - one ex and one new as to who to comfort first. Nelson may have had a tough time keeping Stevie under control but having someone shot in front of you when things had been going so well, having a laugh, then bang. Now he's got the producers going on at him, wanting to know no doubt what about the money they've put into this film, how can they recoup it? Remi, she had to talk to, yes they are not together anymore but she still cares/loves him and knows him too well to believe the "I'm fine" lie. Remi, knows deep down it wasn't Cash's fault, he is just lashing out, he can't get to Sidney so Cash is the one that's getting it in the neck. Those floral tributes being laid for Stevie were lovely, Alf's seen a few of those in his time. Bit of a frosty moment with Mac, Xander and Eden in Salt, Mac asking how it was at the hospital and Eden totally ignoring her, she could have put aside what was going on with Levi and her for one moment. Absolutely nothing to smile about really but Alf asking Nelson where Troy was, Nelson replying he's gone to lie down to rest and Alf saying he was giving everyone a rest by doing that.

Did Sidney Wickham know where Cash lived or was it just the first door he found unlocked? Flick had locked herself in but then when she heard Tane saying he'd seen someone she dashed out leaving the door open. Lots of soap people and in other dramas go against orders, Remi and Eden going off to see Stevie, Flick deciding to find Tane. Wickham did have that gun in it's bag and that is what he hit Tane with, though to me it looked very wide swing. Tane wouldn't be on his radar to get revenge on. He was on a mission to kill Stevie and the guy who caught him. Tane wasn't doing martial arts, it was a Maori ceremony. It will need investigating why he was let go just before his trial, he was a dangerous stalker so why? It was well done and Alf went into full protection mode once he realised what had happened, got everyone in the Surf Club. I guess Justin, Leah and John had done their three days which is why we did didn't see them. Alf was just making a point about the King of England to shut that twat up. It was brilliant the way he stood between him and Nelson to calm them down, that's the Alf we know. I'd have punched his lights out. It could have been anywhere they filmed Wickham would have tracked them down so him blaming Nelson and by extension Stevie was so inane. As already mentioned Wickham was supposed to be in custody. The press will be there once the cops let them get anywhere close though the cops might not be able stop the press using choppers or drones. Cash is going to blame himself but again he shouldn't. It was his first job as a security guard and and although he and Stevie clashed at times he did get to like her and she him. He did the right thing not moving her, though it didn't make a difference in the end, the paramedics would have known the right way to move her. That was a mistake on Bree's part promising Remi she'd save Stevie, what she should have said was "I promise to do my best". Levi did mention that but it was Remi she was talking to and she knew he really liked Stevie. Does make her words to Stevie about her not hurting Remi more poignant. None of us know now if Remi and Stevie could have made a go of it, their separate careers may have separated them in due course. Say what we like about Levi's private life but he is a good surgeon, he jumped right in there to help Bree and he was gentle in the way he said she should stop and that she'd done all she could, injuries were just too extensive. That was sad Remi saying a farewell to Stevie, he couldn't even touch her but it was something he felt he had to do.

He really does have some serious hang-ups which go way back. Fans do have fixations on their idols, always have, but it can be so more invasive now. It can a be a fine line from what is fanship to obsession.

Well I didn't see Tana's talaha display as a transparent tactic to win over any wavering fans, but rather more of a release of his frustrations and fear. He did seem a lot calmer after that and able to accept what may happen, he did insist Marshall tell him how long he could get. Marshall is a very good lawyer. Rose shut down Harper and Dana trying to talk to her about the case which she is quite correct about, but Roo had to have her say. Harper would I guess in the past been to trials before in her SW role either being there for people she's looking after or even given evidence for them. But for Dana it would be scary, she'll have Marshall cross examining her. Ari signed over his share of the ownership of the gym to Tane when he went into prison so he's only following family tradition, though it would have been Nik who should get it but as nothing has been heard/said of him since Tane rang him I guess he won't be making a reappearance. It does make sense therefore it would be Felicity. That will surprise her and I think she'll be touched to think he trusts her enough to look after it. Tane does have Sonia on his side and you can't call her a fan as she doesn't know him at all and she certainly didn't have to give evidence on his behalf, she easily have told them to go and do one. Yes definitely kiss of death moments when all those comments about having a good future from Remi and Stevie. red flags and sirens sounding there too. Stevie may have been hard work at times, but we never really got to know 'her' which now we never will. I had to when Bree and Stevie were talking, obviously about him and he looked kinda worried but in fact Bree was warning Stevie not to hurt him. Not giving anything away but we did see Bree working on Stevie. The fact we knew something was going to happen did make it somewhat drawn out that it happened at the end. WTF were the cops who had Sydney Wickham in jail doing releasing him? They knew he was dangerous, he wasn't just throwing empty threats around, he had a gun, his place was seen with all those photos of Stevie. He was to due to stand trial next week so why now? Cash didn't have to be glued to Stevie's side, she was surrounded by the crew, Remi was there and so in no danger. The moment he got that call he was off to reach her in time but Sydney was already there so didn't need to know where she was. Debateable point if Cash hadn't yelled out and she hadn't turned she wouldn't have been shot in the front but she could have been shot in the back, he already had her nicely lined up. How did he know where she was, was he allowed to watch TV while on remand?

Well one cliff hanger sorted - Theo has passed his last assignment - hurrah. He's now a fully qualified mechanic at the garage that is hardly ever open. It certainly wasn't yesterday as he and Justin were wandering about on the beach watching filming. Odd in a way James 'playing' at being someone plucked out of the crowd to 'play' a part in a film. Wonder if it took him back to his early days? Double cringe with Leah shouting out. Loved Stevie's earrings. Stevie doesn't take any prisoners does she - really gave Remi short shrift, but it seemed Cash may have hit the nail on the head when he reckoned she was more into him than she admitted. Or to quote The Bard "The lady doth protest too much, methinks". Remi did jump straight in there, literally just after his break up with Bree, a very rebound response. Now it's calmed down somewhat he's feeling unsure if he has made the right choice. Maybe just take it a tad slower. Stevie was thinking a lot of herself assuming Remi had followed her into the Surf Club. Bree did take it slower and was more discreet, or tried to be, about it with Nelson. I loved that talk between Bree and Remi sad as it was that she has come to the conclusion not outgrown him - wrong phrase - but he had shown her how to be herself and be free. With Nelson it really is a fresh start. There'll always be that special feeling between them - she showed him he could fall in love for real. Both relationships don't have to be the romance of the century jut as casual as any of them want them to be. Just as much as deep and meaningful conversation with Bree and Levi but on more a professional level, as in what is he going to do now he's quit St. Christophers. He may be a lousy husband but too good a surgeon to just do nothing. She gave him her view on her personal future an said he'd get there in he end. Remi and Eden's deep and meaningfuls got a result in the end for both of them - Remi wouldn't let her aggro with Levi rest. It did end well - sort of - with her agreeing on a kind of twist of Mac and Flick's decision - agreeing not to snipe at him every time she sees him and to be civil making it easier for everyone around them so they aren't walking on eggshells.

Xander's rant at Flick and Mac did get through to them eventually. Glad that Flick ignored Eden's 'advice' that she sell her half of Salt. Both her and Mac need Salt it gave Felicity a purpose, a direction, she was a bit of a drifter before she got involved with it. Mac has always been a business woman and before now it gave her a reason to get up in the morning. They put their business heads on and agreed they can be professional at least for the sake of their business. Well I think Xander deserves a rise. I may be seeing from a different angle but I think Levi was right to quit his job, even if Eden thought he thought he was being hard done by, to me he did the decent thing and using old fashioned terms he did the gentlemanly thing and fell on his sword. He and Imogen working in the same hospital would be awkward to say the very least, they'd both have friends there and it's well known what it's like in any big institution if one half of a couple break up and you know both. Imogen is the innocent one so he didn't see why she should suffer. If he leaves she could carry on without having to worry about bumping into him. I do hope though his colleagues acted professionally if they had to work along aside him. Yes it will mean he'll be hanging around the bay so you'll just have to play the bigger person ignore him won't you girl. Theo does seem to have got over his addiction/stress trauma or has it just be buried for the moment? Remi, Eden and Theos' night seem to have gone very well. Though I do think Remi's getting smashed was to help him 'forget' his lady troubles. Did I imagine it or did Eden actually pay for those pizzas? No sympathy with either of them having sore heads seeing as it was self inflicted.
