Today I had 5 replies from the cast. I've listed them in order of opening. Charles Cottier Samara Weaving David Jones-Roberts Ray Meagher Emily Symons Samara wrote a very nice letter on lovely pink paper. As i was putting Charles' fancard back into its evelope i noticed a letter, which was a mega surprise. He answered some of my questions and he sounds really down to earth. I was kinda amused by the evelope that Emily's fancard came in because the address was my handwriting and it looked like it had been cut from the letter i sent. Also, it came with a typed letter from the office assistant, which i thought was strange considering Emily personally signed the card. I was hoping David would reply and was pleased he did. As he's one of my favourites and I kinda have a crush on him. I was surprised Ray replied, he must get a lot of fan mail and he's been in England for 6 months. So i guess this means he's back in OZ and filming again. I'm totally thrilled my day has been made.

Thanks Edward. Yeah, i've seen replies from her but not many. Have you written to her since? Congrats on your successful responses and I look forward to seeing the Lisa and Emily scans. It's become like a new hobby. Although, i do find it difficult sometimes trying to think of what to write to the actors. Especially if I don't know much about them.

I've not written to Lisa yet. Still on my to do list. Although, i already have an envelope with her name on. Today i posted letters to Robert, Sonia, Tessa and the help desk asking for fan cards of past characters. Fingers crossed i hear something from them because at the beginning of the year i sent them a letter and never heard anything. I've practically written to the entire cast now. So far i have 4 replies.

It's great to see some of you getting replies. I'd really like to see scans when they're up. Just an update. Today i received a fancard from Lyn Collingwood. It's personally signed (quite small writing) and she put 'all the best' right at the bottom of the card.

How awesome was Episode 219! I was literally clapping, cheering, laughing buckets and a little teary eyed at the end. It was a really nice ending. I realised that the guy taking Carly to the date had to be Matt. I mean who else likes her enough to do that - lol. The curiosity nearly killed me though to see if i was right. Roo is obviously stalling, she doesn't think this new guy will be accepted by Alf because of his culture (I read it somewhere that this new boyfriend is chinese). To be honest this just says a whole lot about her. If she really liked this guy then it wouldn't matter where he comes from. She's just so frikken secretive. It's annoying.

Gosh, Tom is being over the top. Giving Bobby a curfew of 7 and giving her jobs to do around the house all because Carly has an attitude problem.

Ok today when i got up there was mail waiting for me. 2 nice big 7 envelopes. The first one was from Luke Mitchell (who i wrote to back in January i think) and Axel Whitehead. I will upload the images when i can. Congrats to everyone who's received fancards recently.

Ruby and Xavier seen to break up and make up alot. They are a good couple for some viewers and not so good couple for other viewers. They have their faults just like all characters. What do you think of them? Do you think they complement each other? Or are they just too similar? I'd really like to hear what others think of their differences.

Does anyone know the address for the Office Assitant? I'd like to ask them for some fan cards of past actors like Belle.

Oh my gosh. I have to share this with you guys. I sent out 3 letters to Luke Mitchell, Rebecca Breeds and Esther Anderson around the end of January. Yesterday my mum handed me an envelope, i was pretty much acting like it was christmas. Inside was my first ever fan card and it's from Esther Anderson, personalised message on the front and a letter on the back. I'll have to scan the card so you can see.

Channel 7 pays for postage to you so you don't have to send a SASE if you are only requesting a fancard. If you are sending something to be signed then you should send a SASE. But if you want to you can. A SAE is a self addressed envelope that doesn't have stamps, I think you are talking about a SASE which is a self addressed stamped envelope- if you are doing that you need australian stamps to stick on it to be returned to you. But honestly I wouldn't waste your money as channel 7 pays for return postage (they have HEAPS of pre- paid envelopes tehy give to the actors to use) even if you live outside Australia. Ok thanks for your help. I'll just send the 3 letters i have without a SASE and see if i get anything back.

Thanks Yellow and Symphony. Just one quick thing. I'm sending a SAE inside and i was wondering what stamps are needed? Do i just put the same stamps on the SAE as i do the envelope thats being sent?

Ok, as i'm about to send 3 letters to cast members i have the address which is. Home + Away C/O Channel 7 PO Box 777 Pyrmont NSW 2009 Australia I was just wondering what the 2009 is for? and do i need to include it or doesn't it matter? I'm from England and really want to get the address right so these letters can get there. Also, can anyone list what actors are the most reliable with replying and which ones aren't. Thanks.
