  1. Onto those scoring into the double digits, with 7-12 points.
  2. Today, the characters that scored 4-6 points.
  3. Onto those who reached three points...
  4. ...and we're off! The countdown of a whopping 196 characters in this year's poll has now begun, with those that scored 1-2 points. Click/tap the image below to be taken to the index. Big thanks goes to @Chris J who had to sort through over 2000 votes to ensure things were shipshape, and to @Red Ranger 1 for going ahead with providing a particularly long commentary this year!
  5. Remember that voting closes this Friday - midday for UK, which is 11pm for those in Oz on AEDT.
  6. The house currently on-screen was indeed used in the Braxton days, from 2013 onwards. The annexe wasn't seen on either of the previous exterior locations used between 2003-2013 either, so it never really made sense.
  7. There is something planned, but I can't confirm anything more than that at the moment (nor how 'classic' these eps will be).
  8. As always it's favourite characters of all time, not just those who have been on-screen this year. ? We want to encourage votes from fans of all eras to try and give it some balance.
  9. Of course! ?
  10. There's also the 10:10am repeat tomorrow on 5STAR for 7856. Seven have taken it off completely on Monday.
  11. For ones with cast featured, probably 4685 in 2008.
  12. Yes it's a real house, and it's the original house that was meticulously rebuilt from the burnt-out shell. https://www.backtothebay.net/locations/summerbayhouse/
  13. If counting the rollover from 1996 as Version 1, then the ones you've got labelled as Version 5 are in fact Version 7 (the first set to include Justine). Version 6 is actually Version 9, which were introduced in the final week of the season following Casey's departure.
  14. The last appearance of the apartment set came the week after Daria, and the exterior of the Ellis house, were introduced - but we didn't actually see the interior of the house for another six weeks.
  15. That's correct, he wanted people to think he was 49 but was busted when the cake came out with 52 on it. John's DOB is on his character profile https://www.backtothebay.net/characters/john-palmer/
  16. Irene tried to sell it on Shannon & Selina's behalf in 1998, but it broke down when she was showing it to a prospective buyer. Then Joel turned up, gave her a ticket for the car being unregistered and unroadworthy, and had it towed away. The one Hayley had was a VW Bug ?
  17. It's much like the Samaritans, in that whilst help with being suicidal is probably what they're most known for, they're also there to talk to for anyone who's having less critical issues. https://www.lifeline.org.au/get-help/i-m-having-a-difficult-time/ Being a "teacher" and all (ahem), I'm guessing Roo is aware of the scope of their service.
  18. For the moment at least, C5 are confirming Home and Away is safe https://www.backtothebay.net/news/2022/02/08/channel-5-confirms-commitment-to-home-and-away/
  19. That’s the writer of that particular episode.
  20. This list shows all the Story Editors/Script Producers who have worked on the show over the years, in order of their first tenure.
  21. RTE are two episodes behind Channel 5, so they're ending with the same episode on Wednesday. It's not scheduled for the rest of the week, other than repeats on Saturday. Also be warned that there's only two opportunities to see the UK 'finale' ep - either the first look on Friday on 5STAR, or the (earlier than usual) lunchtime viewing at 12:30 on Channel 5 on Monday. There'll be NO 6pm repeat of the finale ep on 5STAR on Monday evening for anyone caught out by the change in lunchtime slot. Got to hand it to them, they're really doing their best to push people away from watching the Channel 5 broadcast to 5STAR or My5.
  22. It was around Bouddi National Park, the other side of Broken Bay to the north of Palm Beach. More specifically, Putty Beach and the rocky outcrops nearby including the tesselated pavement. Whilst only 7-8km up the coast as the crow flies, to drive there would indeed be just over 100km. Episode 367 for the exterior, 382 for the interior set. Pretty sure Alf was president but can't be 100% certain, if not then he was certainly managing it.
  23. Funnily enough someone else asked this last week in the Oz thread - Karen did tell Dean she was starting a job at the leagues club when she left Summer Bay, but it turned out she was actually checking herself back into the hospital. And no, Mac doesn't know about the latest development as yet. There's a bit of behind-the-scenes trivia about 'Cynthia' at the end of our article on the main site - https://www.backtothebay.net/news/2021/02/04/home-and-away-spoilers-john-prepares-for-a-hot-date/ Despite how it ended, this little story with Ryder helping out John and Maz with the app, together with Nik & Bella's teasing and later sympathy for John, has been one of my highlights of recent times.
  24. Pic of said character ? https://www.backtothebay.net/characters/carter_grace/
  25. It was more the case that with Willow not being allowed into the public gallery, being a witness, she had to think of an excuse to stay outside for the first part of the proceedings. She then excused herself with that phone call to Reenie whilst Bella went in. To be fair, the amount of conversations he had about the murder whilst standing out on the balcony... or loud slanging matches with the doors wide open... with any number of diner customers only a few feet away.... it could have been anyone ? May have been a tad too farcical though - for us to pan down and see Angelo, sipping his latte and demolishing a blueberry muffin, whilst casually holding his dictaphone above his head.
