Love Miles. He’s good natured, good fun and has a sense of the ridiculous. Caring and forever helpful, he’d give you the shirt off his back. Great bloke.

I’m eagerly waiting for Angelo to do something to endear himself to me. At times he takes a step forward, then usually takes two steps back but he’s certainly a bit more interesting this time around. Angelo is most entertaining when he works himself up into a lather and sweats the small stuff.

Putting Angelo’s past aside, at present there’s not much to like about him. While he is making an effort to be play it by the book, his antagonism towards Hugo and some of his comments to the townsfolk are highly unprofessional. Hugo shows great restraint, I’d report him to the Conduct Unit. Angelo doesn’t treat May well either. She asked for honesty, Hardly a quality I’d like in a partner. As for Charlie, he is disrespectful to her way too often. Not something I can admire. So he’s childish as well. I would hope that someone who has killed a friend, been to jail, had an NDE and has had time to reflect on it all, was a bit more laid back, compassionate and thinks big picture.

Lots of lovely rain. I've had over 40mm in the rain guage the last few days. If its cloudy and cold, it may as well rain.

Winter is upon us. Freezing mornings, cold days, grey skies, drizzle and occasional rain. Roll on September.

Bad Bush. An Australian movie with Chris Sadrinna. A sinister thriller based on a true story. Shudder to think which parts are true.

Very, very foggy this morning. Didn't lift until noon. Seemed a bit like another planet.

Angels and Demons The storyline was probably a lot of nonsense but I really enjoyed the action packed ride through Rome.

Bit nippy here this morning. Got down to about 3 or 4oC...... Promise of things to come . Lovely clear day though. Lots of pretty autumn leaves to kick up this time of year

Glorious autumn day...about 30oC. I've been out smelling the flowers at the Garden Show.

12 Rounds An action thriller, plenty of energy, car chases and bombs exploding . Entertaining but a bit unbelievable

Glorious autumn day here I've been up to Skyhigh today and I could see past the City, all the way across the Bay to Geelong and the You Yangs.

Over 30mm in the rain guage in the last 24h . Its good to return cooler, wetter conditions. I usually look forward to summer but I'm so over it this year.

Finally got around to seeing Slumdog Millionaire . The kids were great and I could almost smell India. The film deserved all its awards.

Its been raining . 15mm in the rain guage, first decent rain this year.

Its been mighty windy today. I was out walking at lunchtime. There was dust blowing everywhere and I was almost blown off my feet!

Its about 30o C. I was driving down the highway and could see the smoke billowing out over Upwey. Firetrucks racing....and the CFA call that small! These fires are really starting to stress me out.

The International Clive Owen was great in the lead, loved the locations and the shoot out in the Guggenheim was a bit different but as always some of the “intelligence” gets lost on me.

The light this afternoon has an almost glorious golden glow.... but its eerily deceptive. I always think “OMG, where is the fire”

I really like Luke Jacobz, he's great . Angelo though is rather ordinary. If he sticks around I hope they give him a partial personality transplant for the better.

Some suburbs have hit 45oC.... and thats in the shade! Wonder how hot it is on the bushfire front

A much cooler day today thank heavens, low 20's. Had a few mm of rain as well. The lightning over Mt Dandy looked impressive but I hope it didn't cause any fires.
