I really liked Charlie and Angelo as mates and work colleagues foremost and they do have chemistry. However, I can’t really see a brave and principled woman continuing to hang out with a seemingly spineless wimp, no matter how good his physical attributes are.

Its terrible and no end in sight. I spare a thought for those who have to travel Connex, those whose power has been out for many hours, those who live in the average rental property without aircon and those being hospitalised for heat stress as well as all the poor animals with the local creek beds drying up.

Its predicted to be the worst heatwave in 100 years! I don’t know how people without aircon will survive. I hope bushfires don’t start raging.

Seven Pounds A good movie, some of the storyline was a bit hard to follow as it wasn’t revealed until towards the end of the movie. The bittersweet ending was befitting. No lighter moments in this one..... gave me something to think about.

I certainly find bad Angelo far more entertaining than doormat Angelo. I don’t care how he reacted to Belle and Aden, they brought it on themselves to a large extent. However, his involvement with the developers is simply criminal! It will be interesting watching that unfold. I’m not surprised at Angelo having this dark side as many of the actors in guest roles seem to be up to no good, positively evil or are bumped off in a “who will die” storyline.

Few more passing showers today. Still not like summer yet. Oh well, we have heating/cooling and clothes for all weather extremes living here in Melbourne.

I also find a lot of what Belle and Adelle do laughable and I often get a giggle out of them. Belle doesn’t have many, if any qualities I admire. Perhaps after she has hit rock bottom, started digging, has been to hell and comes back as a person I can respect then I might change my view. I hope Adelle die a natural death from over-exposure, sooner rather than later. I view H&A just as a soap, a bit of escapism and entertainment.

Thats true, but I think they may have included Pearl Harbour and the army personnel and the Wizard of Oz to appeal to them.

Australia Loved it. A strong Australian cast, the storylines were a bit predictable but entertaining. I was lucky enough to live out in the Kimberleys for a year a few years back so I just loved the scenery. I miss those boabs! Even though the film was nearly 3 hours, the time went quickly.

We had hailstones, some the size of marbles here late this afternoon, and 10+ mm of rain in about half an hour.

Raining with some hail. 20mm in the rain guage overnight. . Not keen on going out in it though

Nice and sunny now I think I'll take the dog for walkies. I must admit I often check the BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) radar before we go!

Luke was great on DWTS. He seems like the sort of guy that can turn his hand to anything. I’m impressed. I’d certainly pay to see him in the theatre. Fantastic! I hope his star continues to rise.
