  1. Why is Roo getting a grilling, well that is how I think the meting will be, about what went wrong with Eliza? It was her SW's putting her with an inexperienced carer with absolutely no back that caused all the problems. At least she had Harper there to be in her corner. I think Alf is being a bit naive thinking Roo would want to step back taking on another foster child. Has he not met Roo? I know nothing how it works but if a emergency placement goes well do 'they' not leave it for a while anyway before they place another one with them so the carer can take a breath? I suppose the fact the RB's being so obvious is good in a way as Cash can keep tabs on them. I'm guessing Gage has told them to do what they are doing and they daren't disobey him. I've noticed they are nowhere near ND's Sonny, it appears isn't on their to follow list, it's Theo or rather Lacey he's after. To Gage he's a minor problem to worry about later. They weren't remotely bothered when they saw him and Remi, they were following Cash again. Remi, however, isn't taking any chances by hiring the body guards to look over him. I know Sonny was treating it a big joke, but I think that was a cover to hide his true feelings. He may have been a bit of a ducker and diver in the past but this got very heavy. Maz is spot on this time though Sonny and Dana do like each other. It was Sonny's choice to ring Dana and let her know where he was. What were they expecting to find in her hamper? Did giggle when one of them said "No, he didn't want to share a bed with Sonny". Them hanging around just outside the door may put Sonny and Dana off getting romantic - if you know what I mean. It was good that Sonny, Remi and Justin made their peace so one thing cleared up. But Leah dropped her bombshell by admitting to Justin she'd told Lacey to keep away and not to contact Theo. I can kind of see she'd want to keep him safe, but she is treating him like a little child and yes OK he does act like one but he is an adult. She doesn't know Lacey's history and how she got entangled with Gage and the RB's. All that nagging that he MUST do his psyhio, I'd flip and dig my heels in. Now he knows what she has done and totally lost it and thrown her and Justin, who was innocent btw, out. Leah does have so much history of interfering when she thinks she doing the right thing. Btw has Leah suddenly developed selective memory loss, she had a serious crush on a RB back in the day - Brax. He helped VJ so she got close to him seeing another side to him so got pretty close to him. Cash is having a hard time looking after Lacey, it must be frustrating for her having to hide out at a cop shop of all places. Gage is still keeping tabs on her wanting to know where she is. Obviously he hasn't put a tracker on her pone as he would know where she is. Cash was blindsided when Lacey walked out of the office when she heard Justin asking if Cash knew where she was and was she safe. I thought Justin just said he'd spoken to her and she was safe. Levi did do a good job with Theo, he wasn't nagging him just encouraging him to give his psyhio a go. I'm undecided about the new opening titles, seem to rush through them and I'm not liking the woman singer, too whispery for me.
  2. It was a bit of an anti climax with Eliza going so quietly but she did get that last jibe in about Roo not being a bad carer but she was the worst. That was after her saying she wanted to stay but as Roo said she wasn't able to give her the help she needed. I do hope we do find something about her history as we'll be left hanging as will Roo, Alf and Marilyn. She is one very complex character so for someone so young. Very vague this 'short term' comment, what do they class as 'short term' for a teenager even a few weeks could be seen as for ever. Bad enough they dumped - sorry placed her with a very inexperienced carer with no history but they've also landed Harper a woman who has only just recently given birth and should be on maternity leave looking after her new born with the job of clearing their mess up. I bet all those people who were ready with the flaming torches and pitchforks were utterly disappointed, nothing got burnt down, no-one got stabbed. But TPTB did lead us up the garden path a bit by hinting that is what she could have done. I think we will have to agree to disagree about the reason Tane was keeping Eliza away from Harper and Archie was because he was being controlling, he's seen Eliza's behaviour, she stole the scan photo, secretly filmed the birth, didn't ring 000. he was just worried about what Eliza may have done. Harper was 'seeing' it from a SW's point of view but it was more personal this time. Eliza was giving off very bad vibes all over the place, but yes the only person she physically attacked was Scott. Roo can be pretty controlling herself not wanting to accept help, insisting she knew what she was doing but had to admit she wasn't the right person to help Eliza. Getting away from all the drama, I'm loving the dynamics between Harper and Tane and how they are co-parenting Archie so well please let it last. Tane's more than happy doing all the daddy stuff, walking him, feeding him - subtly dropped in that Harper is expressing her milk - burping him, even changing nappies. I'm supposing Archie goes home to Irene's at the end of the day as he'd have all his stuff there and he'd be comfy with familiar surroundings. Mac not so subtly suggesting she and Levi take time out to make babies, but he got called into see Theo who is digging his heels in about getting his psyhio. What are his actual injuries btw? I can see why Theo is bothered that Lacey seems to have forgotten about him and Leah is so not helping by nagging him all the time. Justin has been there hasn't he so knows how tough psyhio can be as did Remi so able to chip in with his words of wisdom. I did love Cash's to the RB's as he drove past their car. Very clever/sneaky that Cash is keeping Lacey at Yabbie Creek cop shop as it makes it more frustrating for them thinking he'll lead them to her when it's what he's doing everyday and they don't know it. They must be pretty scared of Gage as sitting around all day, doing nothing isn't what they signed up for when they joined the RB's. Did I hear him say Eden had gone away? Her choice or his or both? It would make sense she'd want to be out of the way so he's not fretting about her. Cash did have to give it to Lacey straight, telling her she can go anytime she wants but would have to dodge the RB's hanging around outside. She did put back the safe house option when she skipped off last time they were trying to keep her safe. YEH I did get it right re Dana and Sonny, though it seems Remi wants to shut it down before it even starts because of the danger Sonny could be putting Dana in. The RB's would be after him too.
  3. Was a shock - a nice one - to see the new titles at least all the moaners can shut up now. I was wondering why Alf and co were at the end. Roo as we know doesn't like to be seen as failing at anything but she did finally admit she can't handle Eliza. That was spooky Eliza being so nice, throwing deflection from her previous behaviour? That seminar Roo went on wouldn't have helped her to cope better with Eliza it's a completely different situation. I'm guessing they don't hold seminars for foster parents who may have a fire starter, stalker, strange obsessions on their hands. Didn't both Alf and Roo say Harper didn't want to see Eliza? I was with Tane about Harper not seeing Eliza with Roo. A SW is supposed to be impartial, a step back from the people she is talking to so able to give an informed unbiased assessment on where to go from the initial talk. In this case now she knows the truth she wouldn't be able to do that as she is involved in it, very much so. It did come to her as a shock that Eliza had filmed the birth, she may not have believed Tane but Roo had seen it, as she then revealed Eliza told her her phone was out of charge so she lent her hers to call 000 so Tane was able to check that no call had been made. That is the problem we don't know what Eliza's motivations are about any of her obsessions, morbid fascination about possible death from certain situations. The op Harper had to save Archie, the fact Harper, though one thing not to lay at Eliza's door, it was Harper's idea to go for a drive so was forced to give birth in the middle of nowhere instead of a hospital and Alf's health scare. Her being passive didn't help Alf though did it? She didn't instigate his heart scare but she hardly rushed to get his pills or get help. Where did she disappear to after ducking out on John? She turned up after Roo got home? Did she go back to Irene's? Another peculiar thing, her asking John why they cleaned the buggies when they only got dirty again, more something someone with Autism may ask. Is what she said about those things in her box not being what she said they were another lie? We did see Alf's pills and the photo of Harper. May seem odd but I'm more interested in who's hank of hair that is, it's not a child's or babies but an adults. As with her many problems and the objects in her box I hope we do find out some of the truth. We don't know what the age gap is between Mali and Abbey, though both can act like teenagers at times. Mac had to come across as big 'sis' to get Mali to see sense. Mac had been stubborn herself in that regard in the past as not needing help but having to finally admitting she did. Loved they both apologised to each other, some may not like them as a couple but some couples thrive on the way they carry on, can bounce off each other but other times really wind each other up. Makes making up really fun though. Wouldn't the local NW have anything to say about the RB's hanging around? I guess as they aren't actually causing an obstruction parking where they are not a lot the cops can do. No need to ask why they are there.

  5. Ah yes that could it. I think the implication from what Levi was saying they had been using contraception, they have been pretty active in that department after all and had only just properly trying for a few weeks. If something doesn't happen in a few months then that will be the time to have checks to see if either of them have a problem. Usually though, in the OK at least, a few months would be far too soon to get in a panic about. But of course the fact Mac had that ectopic pregnancy may make a difference. Glad H&A didn't go down the usual dumping the pregnancy test in the bin where anyone can find it route. Levi coming home early did catch her out, he'd been alerted by Abbey telling him Tane had been to see her which she confirmed. He did look a bit befuddled seeing working at the board shop, love how she keeps him on his toes. It was that twat of a journo that has made these assumptions of what Mail and Kirby's working relationship was like before, they had stood in for each other many times. He was only going by what he saw that day and let's be honest Kirby was bigging herself up saying her working at the board shop was just a stop gap and in front of her boss/friend - OUCH. Kirby was the nearest so of course Mali took it out on her. They had only just agreed on what qualifications her replacement would need and had parted very friendly. Pretty gutsy of her to face him up like that likely knowing he'd blast off. Abbey obviously phrasing it completely the wrong way so Mali would think she's on Kirby's side. Once he has calmed down he and Kirby do need to put their side across. Wisely Levi and Mac kept out of it. Now the biggie! the Alf and Eliza drama. She certainly wasn't in a rush to find Alf's pills then when she did she pocketed them, that guy surprised her and she came across so sweet, saying she was looking for her 'grandad's' pills and her 'mum' would be there soon. Then her not being able to find Alf's phone and hers being 'out of battery'. Don't need to state the obvious she went nowhere near the caravan park. She was so cool at seeing Alf really struggling but he mustered enough strength to make her take him home where he had his other tabs. TPTB did tease us by letting us think John wouldn't get there in time as Roo told him to stick those posters up on his way to Alf. Now Alf may be a stubborn old codger but even he had realised over the years to keep some meds at the Bait Shop and at home. John knew Alf was on the mend when he started insulting him again. Then Eliza did her disappearing act and turned up at Irene's just calmly wandering about, OK Irene did the usual H&A thing leaving the door wide open so anyone could walk in, but wouldn't you at least knock on the door? Oh silly me Eliza did but no-one heard her. Did I miss Eliza introducing herself to Irene as Irene has no idea what Eliza looks like. Eliza just plonks herself down telling Irene she'll wait for Harper to come back. Where was Harper btw as last time we saw her she sitting on the sofa? Eliza's very cryptic comment about her needing to show Harper something she would like to see. How did Irene manage to ring Roo without Eliza hearing? Roo, finally, bit the bullet by challenging Eliza's behaviour which seemed to trigger something because as we saw she was so different, asked Alf if he was OK, thanked Marilyn for the meal, took the dishes to the sink, asked if she could go to her bedroom. Then Roo admitting that Marilyn was right about her instincts regarding Eliza. Then of course we saw Roo finding Alf's pills in Eliza's box. Roo had been thrown in the deep end by being asked to look after Eliza but Roo as we all know doesn't like to admit she can't cope and she does like her projects and can take over. Remember when Marilyn started working at a food ruck in the city in the aftermath of Heather, Roo took over, pushing Marilyn out, raising funds, now it seems that's all forgotten as she moved onto her new project.
  6. Tane had asked/suggested he take Archie out to give Harper some time to herself. I loved those scenes of him and Archie on the beach, showing him the sea, telling him the Maori word and that over there is your homeland and how at sometime he'd like him to visit. He was acting just like any proud dad would, good to see Archie had a little hat on to cover his head. The babies who play Archie are so good, very comfortable with being handled by people who aren't their parents. Mali wanting to sign him up for surfing lessons Both John and Alf went all gooey over him. One thing how did Mali know where Archie was conceived? Nice that Mac met Archie and she did come across as being very comfortable with handling a baby which is why I guess she got the pregnancy test kit out. Eliza did meet Archie, she, I think, heard someone say in the Diner Tane was showing Archie the bay and that is why she suggested her and Roo have a walk which is how they ran into him at the Surf Club. Then after Tane refused to let her hold him she showed him the film she'd taken of Harper giving birth which of course would have been a shock as it was for Roo as I think she thought Eliza had deleted the video. I bet Harper wouldn't be happy about it either. I'm guessing/hoping it will come out she hadn't called the ambo, they did have other things on their minds at the time. Both Roo and Alf did play it down but Alf did take her phone off her. It would be the same if Eliza was a 'normal' teenager and was punishing her, Roo had been a difficult teenager so had been there, done that. Him and Roo deciding to pay Eliza for doing jobs around the place did backfire as she overheard him. Which I'm supposing is why she took her revenge on him later, will she really let him have a heart attack? She stomped off to go and see Harper but Irene, who hasn't met her before wouldn't let her, guessing her y senses told her something wasn't right by the way Eliza was more or less demanding she see Harper. I have noticed we hear/see things from Eliza's perspective with the sound being muted and what we see is rather fuzzy. It seemed Eliza had been playing by the rules and both her and Marilyn were both amiable to each other - for now. Mali is being a typical male not willing to accept that he does need help, he can't do it all by himself. Alf is the same. I liked the fact Kirby and Abby ganged up on him by tricking him by pretending Kirby was having a melt down and it did get him to see sense. Men should really catch on that us women do have our ways to get you to see reason. I liked that Abby OK'd it with Mac that she could help Mali if he needed it. Doesn't have to be there when he is, just take in deliveries, take bookings etc.
  7. Gage did get interrupted by Sonny turning up so who knows if he really meant to kill him or just scare him enough to stay away from Lacey and keep his mouth shut. Maybe Lacey didn't turn her phone off as perhaps Gage would know she'd done that, I haven't got a smartphone so wouldn't know. That way she could just tell Gage she was asleep and didn't hear it. I'm surprised he hasn't had a tracker put on it, but he did send his pack out to hunt her down. She was gutsy though going to the cops, why did she disappear from the motel and go back to Gage or did I miss something? Trivial point but the continuity has been good with Leah and Justin still wearing the same clothes they were wearing when they got the call Theo had been brought into the hospital, at least they can now go home and change or Justin can bring some different clobber in for Leah. Just because Theo has woken up won't mean he's out of the woods just yet. Cash was pretty laid back with his interview, wasn't too demanding and said he'd come back later. Leah came over all mumma bear warning Lacey to stay away from Theo, as of course she blames her but it takes two. Two ways of looking at with Harper and Tane, as has been said he wants to be there for his son and is trying, kind of, to stay out of Harper's way. If he stayed away he'd get called all sorts. Harper has just come out of hospital and even without the complication of the the (non)relationship between Harper and Tane it'd be a tense time, she's got to get used to being at home without nurses on hand to help, all new mums face that. But Harper, maybe quite rightly feels he isn't really there for her. I still maintain he does care for her but she's not that convinced. Wise words from Irene that he needs to step back just a bit and they need to talk properly which he keeps trying to but Harper does keep putting it off. Though Tane being there did give Harper the time to go and have a bath seeing as Maz, Irene and Dana (I'm guessing) were at work so he could look after Archie. Did Irene catch Tane asleep on the couch, I thought he'd gone home and if so how/when did he let himself in? It would be rather crowded at the Beach house now Archie is back home, not that he takes up a lot of room but all the baby stuff would so a tactical move on her part by suggesting she move back to the Caravan Park. Alf did say things had got better, that Eliza is complying with his and Roo's 'rules'. Though how Eliza will feel about Maz moving back in we'll just have to wait and see. Preview/trailer was looking a bit ominous, Eliza showed Tane the film she took of Harper giving birth which meant she didn't delete it like Roo told/asked her to do, which needless to say didn't go down well. He couldn't have a blow up with her then as he had Archie and want him well away from her.
  8. Cash is making slow but steady progress with the RB's, this new lot will have learnt from previous ones on how to handle the cops. I guess at the moment He's just interested in the one that beat Sonny up and Sonny may not have seen their faces that clearly same as the ones in the garage. Edmond aka Spanner is pretty distinctive with his build, hardly blends in with the rest of them. Cash did reveal Theo had rope marks on his wrists so him trapped under the car was not an 'accident'. Cash does have good cop instincts now and then by recognising Lacey could be the weak link but she's far too scared of Gage to make the move just yet. But then she sneaked into the hospital and was busted by Sonny who also gave her words of encouragement. he got she does have feelings for Theo. She managed to convince Gage she'd just gone for a walk, surprising he doesn't have her followed actually, then those ominous words "You belong here with me". Luckily Sonny hadn't been too badly hurt, just bruised kidneys and his ribs will be aching for a while. Definitely see something happening between Sonny and Dana, her fluffing his pillows up not romance of the century but a good relationship, they are pretty alike in their outlook on life. Still no mention of whether Theo's mum has been informed her son is at deaths door. I know Justin is blaming Sonny for getting Theo involved with the RB's but he and Leah shouldn't blame themselves either for not cottoning on that Theo's new girl was a RB's girlfriend, he only gave them a few details and that she was in bad relationship. He is an adult, though he doesn't always act like it, not a teenager. That did rather spoil the tension seeing Theo sitting up and paying attention at the end. My thoughts exactly with Tane, he's acting like any new, well most, dads do fussing over his little 'un, getting him settled in to his new home. At first Harper seemed OK but maybe that was because they were home but she did get a bit twitchy later. Of course Tane would want to be there to help her settle in but he will need to back off a bit to give her some space and not crowd her. Nice he checked with Irene if he could stay over after asking Harper if it was OK with her. Not sure if he should have gone into Harper's room to check Archie when he cried, Harper was dealing with him fine, she was a bit cool with him in the morning. The baby who plays Archie is a good little babe, no whinges being handed around by three different adults. I've read he's being played by various babies and at least they look alike. He, Archie, not Tane, was really being fussed over.
  9. I'm guessing TPTB at H&A did the finding of Theo and Sonny off screen and that Sonny had managed to call an ambo and they found him by using the tracker on his phone. Sonny did tell Cash some of what happened before he got beat up and left in a heap and all he knew was the guy that beat him was Spanner. They gave out a pretty clear signal when Bree got that call she was needed at the hospital as an emergency had come in. Neither Justin or Leah have the full picture of what transpired between Sonny initially meeting the RB's and how he backed off from them. He did try to dissuade Theo for getting too involved but it was the car thing and Lacey that kept him in with them. Also I can't see Gage just letting someone go once he's got his hooks into them. Partly down to Remi letting Justin think the worst of Sonny who has a rethink of his own. Remi did reveal to Justin that the main reason Theo is in the state he is is because he was having a fling with Gage's girlfriend which Justin now gets from the veiled hints Theo gave him. Seems Sonny took a lot harder beating that was initially thought and may have internal damage, hope he comes through OK. Of course being a bloke he was acting tough and playing it down. I nearly didn't recognise Dana with her hair up but she was doing a good job reassuring Leah and Justin and persuading Sonny to stay put, saying she'd tell him how Theo was if he stayed put and let her treat him. I can see them being a couple at sometime in the not too distant future. He blames himself of course but as already said Theo is an adult so can't be dragged away and sent home like a teenager. I think Dana and Bree just wanted Justin to keep the noise down, the team were trying to work on Theo and didn't need to be distracted by him shouting the odds. May seem a silly question but will Leah let Theo's mum know what has happened, it's very rare we see close family members or even hear about them and visit an extremely sick/injured character. The only time it happened recently was when Marilyn rang Roo when Alf had his bad turn. It was good seeing Bree and Levi working together, they are a good team. Cardiothoracics is his field of expertise. The RB's do have a code of silence, that happened back in Brax's day. Lacey took a chance asking if Theo was OK, then Gage slipped by mentioning Theo's 'accident'. Only thing Cash could do was to take them all in, Gage was trying to give it all that but had to bow down in the end. I may be wrong but I sensed Cash knows Lacey is the one to give him what he wants to know. If Spanner was around last year that would mean he would have been 'working' with Rory the last RB boss. Cash has been pretty tied up with the RB trouble so probably wouldn't think of mentioning it to Eden. Oh a bit of lightheartedness, - Eden filling in Remi about what is happening with her and Cash - they are engaged to be engaged. They did drive off in Theo's car and came back looking satisfied if you get my drift.
  10. Things did seem to escalate pretty quickly when Theo arrived wherever he was and those cryptic comments from Gage alerted us but of course Theo doesn't know he knows about Theo and Lacey. It was also sadistic Gage using Theo's car to torture him. I was in the same mind set about maybe it was good that Sonny couldn't move that ramp off Theo as it could cause more damage. The emergency services when they arrive - which they must have done as we saw Theo in hospital - would take a risk assessment. I think the clue is in the name - hideaway - which is why the cops don't know which one. Sonny is new to the area so wouldn't really know where he was, he did send the message Lacey sent him to Cash and co didn't he? Typical isn't it, someone gets an urgent message and they aren't there when it arrives, this time because Cash was doing his Senior Constable duties telling his crew to go out looking for the usual RB haunts. Was it pure chance Gage found that tracker and sent it back to the cops or is there a mole at Yabbie Creek? I think initially Lacey was just flirting with Theo but she got to really like him which was why she warned him off. Btw could Sonny really have heard what Gage was saying to Lacey or was he just going by body language? I think Remi and Bree are stuck in the middle, Remi did lead Justin to believe Sonny was trouble and had been reckless before but he's done a reversal and is trying to do the right thing. Now he's going to be blaming Remi if anything happens to Theo. We know Sonny didn't have a clue who the RB's were until Theo filled him and he was Ok at first but then saw how deep Theo was getting in and wanted out, he did try and talk Theo out of it but he is an adult. Justin must have totally forgotten he and the rest of the |of the Morgan's were threatened with pitchforks and flaming torches when it came out they were in WP and had a gang after them. Maz was just being her usual Maz self. She did have that reflective thought that Eliza was an innocent baby once and maybe it is how you are brought up that changes you. Doesn't always necessarily follow though that if they are maltreated, ignored, abused they turn out bad, they could have a very loving family but still turn out bad. Smiled when John's made his point on Irene not being able to wait until Archie comes home and just dropping in about if she'll still feel the same when she's being woken up at silly o'clock every day.
  11. Certainly looks like things aren't going to end well for Theo, Gage isn't the 'mindless' thug people think he is, he's had a few days/week to work out how he's going to get his revenge. Those chats he was having with his cronies didn't bode well. Gage was very sharp picking up that Lacey and Theo had run into each other twice in the same day. Like most young folk Theo does think he's indestructible and thinks he can 'save' Lacey from Gage, she's obviously scared of him, l guess we'll find out how she got hooked up with him at some time. Good move on Sonny's part to get Lacey to put his number on her phone. He should fill Justin in what is happening or what he thinks is happening but as we know Justin can go blundering in and really muck things up. It's nice seeing the good side of Sonny and Remi has asked him to move back in. Totally agree Eden and Cash did need to talk to each other instead of her faffing about, she's not usually so wimpy, she speaks her mind, but I suppose it is a sensitive subject. Good intervention of Bree and Remi to get Cash to come and suggest they talk which they did back at the house, so are they engaged or not? Cash seems the old fashioned type of guy so maybe they are engaged to be engaged. Kirby did have a lot going on, fretting about that Promo magazine guy them publishing what would have been bad publicity for her, but Justin. once again, calmed her down. Then getting all excited about Eden's 'engagement'. She did admit to Justin she had got carried away with her role at the board shop. Just as well then Abbey played referee between her and Mali, she talked Mali down and although she agreed with the way Kirby behaved was wrong, she was there after all, she manged to get him to see reason and got him to remember what good friends they have been until now. They both apologised to each other and got back on an even keel but she's still fired.
  12. That Maori coat for Archie was beautiful and I'm guessing Tane wanted it to be opened that day as it was meant to be worn on his Birth day but circumstances took over so wasn't able to so the next day had to be the day. that was a lovely letter he wrote too. Tradition and family mean a lot to Tane, Harper can't get that as her family life wasn't good. Not really excusing her but Harper's emotions have been all over the place, she's just broken up with the guy she wanted to love her, a traumatic birth, then collapsing, had to have another op, but she did dress Archie in it and invited Tane to come and see him in it and seemed OK with them co-parenting. Cash is an old friend of hers so would take her side, he knew the 'old' Harper. It was a nice mention of Nikau. Someone else I'm not really excusing but Kirby was so into this new promo film she had forgotten everything and everyone else. She has been a good worker, covered for Mali when he had his hearing problem and when he got involved with the RB's, but it's all gone out of the window now. Had she designed some of those boards? Then that comment about working at the surf board shop and teaching surfing being just a stopgap was a real insult, so not surprising Mali reacted the way he did. Wonder if that That guy filming it wasn't into surfing at all was he? Will that bust up be included? He was an odd bloke and who in TPTB decided he should look like an old hippie type. Loved the interaction between Abby and Eden with Eden with Abby admitting she and Mali had said the L word and Eden trying to get all the gossip. Eden was busted alter finding her engagement ring and putting it back on and having Cash walk in on her, that will be an interesting talk.
  13. Last thing first there will be a follow up to Gage seeing Theo and Lacey, he's just biding his time. I know Maz has been really OTT with her fixation about Eliza but her being so down on Eliza is just making Roo dig her heels in more and insisting she's doing the right so neither of them are helping the situation. It was Harper's decision to go for a drive though why in the middle of nowhere and the fact she's only a few days away from giving birth - oh of course there wouldn't be any drama if it was just down the road and it was weeks away. The fact Eliza wasn't answering Roo's calls must have bothered her. Anyways all the drama did kick off, and I know she's no medical person, most people aren't but surely Harper shouldn't have been that surprised when she went into labour, babies decide when they want to make their entry into the world. What was Eliza expecting to happen out there when it was just the two of them and the fact she didn't ring for an ambulance, OK she wasn't totally sure where she was but they would have found them. Eliza does some odd obsessions, which could be due to her maybe being autistic. Thankfully Tane did manage to contact them and Harper shouted out where they were and handy Levi just happened to be where he was so Batman and Robin could run to the rescue. I would so want Levi to be my doctor, he was sooooooooo calm when delivering Archie despite having Harper screaming in his face she needed to get to hospital and have a c-section, just let it all wash over him and did what he needed to do. May have been a while since he'd delivered a baby but the baby does most of the work. Tane was great too, just backing up Harper, holding her, encouraging her, no nagging, just a dad to be. The only silent one was Eliza but then it would be quite a jaw dropping event, but then she started secretly filming it which is a big no-no which Roo told her and for her to delete it, scales falling from her eyes perhaps? A few breath holding seconds until Archie let out that cry. I'm the same in any drama, soap when a new born doesn't immediately doesn't cry and only start breathing myself when he/she does. I think Tane did pick up on the fact the ambo service said they hadn't any calls but then was certainly not the right time to go into it. Maybe a frivolous remark but it was noticeable Harper was wearing a nice floaty dress which made it a very discreet birth. I hope she remembered to take her knickers off. Any 'old' Neighbours fans would get what I mean. I get the feeling there will be a lot on H&A's FB page wittering on about how big Archie is but babies do come in different sizes, from teeny weeny and all wrinkly to big and wrinkle free and TPTB wouldn't be allowed to use a new born. Though I did notice how alert he was which is a bit of a stretch. Maybe frivolous remark but it was Initially they all arrived at ND's safely and Harper actually seemed glad Tane was there with that big soppy grin on his face, what was in that anaestheic that changed her mind which made her tell him to effectively sod off. Wisely he did as asked. Levi seemed pretty chuffed when Tane asked him to hold Archie, well he has saved his life twice. he could be a honourary uncle. Dana was over the moon to be an Aunty. It was Dana that pushed Harper to big up the wedding when she was 'willing' to go along with Tane's low key plans which made her more excited about it. I did spot that when Theo was talking about his new girlfriend to Justin and Leah he omitted to say her current guy was a RB, knowing full well if he did they would put a stop to it even if he is a fully grown adult. Kirby was very keen about her promo film and at least I'm supposing they won't to filter her colour out of it or make her look thinner.
  14. Marilyn is also living at Irene's now. Even Harper came across as worried with Eliza asking those questions about the fact Harper was having a C-section, I was right that it was because of the op she had and a normal birth could be dangerous for them both, but Harper wouldn't see what was happening further down as they put a screen up. That remark from Eliza to Harper that she'd be there for her should have rung some . I may be misremembering but hadn't Marilyn been fostered at some time when she was young? I suppose there wouldn't be any reason for Harper to know John had been married, all she knows is they are friends, close friends. Maz did have some good advice, to give it time, funnily enough the same advice John was giving Tane. I know it's a cliche but Harper's hormones will be all over the place and Archie is due in a couple of days. I suppose it does say something that Roo has gone on this Fostering seminar that she has come round to realising she is getting something wrong. That is what Alf was trying to instil in Eliza - boundaries - which I don't think anyone else has set her, every kid, even young ones need them. It's because their parents/guardians etc care. I did smile though when Alf told Eliza about how he knew she was listening as he'd had years of hearing those creaky stairs. Clever old sod, not getting them fixed. I bet you Roo doesn't know that as she would have been creeping up and down them a lot when she was young. Maybe NOT a good idea to plant in her mind about his remark "It'll be over my dead body". It isn't just Maz that is wary of Eliza, Tane is too, he's seen the vicious side of her, hitting Scott then threatening them with a broken bottle, not forgetting she stole the photo of the scan of Archie. John, wisely, backed off, when he approached Eliza and Harper about her working - or not. It wouldn't be so dramatic now would it if Theo and Lacey hadn't been caught out by Gage. He may be a bully/thug but I think he's more clever than he comes across and will let Theo think everything is OK. Just as well they'd driven off to a more private place to get even closer - nudge, nudge, a nod's as good as a wink to a blind horse. Is Lacey serious about Theo or is she just wanting to play a game, be it a dangerous one? Theo is having his head, heart and other body parts turned by Lacey. To give him some credit, Sonny did try and ty to distract Gage from being fixated on Theo and his car.
  15. But the thing is the L word being spoken does make a difference, if it's not been said they can act as if they are just girlfriend/boyfriend who like each other a lot who happen to live together, not as if they are on their own, they are sharing a home with Mac and Levi. Once it's been said not easy at all to backtrack. Alf, let's not forget is very old school, though he has softened over the years and he does now admit his mistakes like he did with Theo who was a bit of a wild child when he first arrived and Leah did use to make excuses for him and still does. I had the feeling if it hadn't been a knife Eliza had stolen but something 'safe' like a reel from a fishing rod, he wouldn't have been so uptight but a knife is a whole different matter. He may have been trying to treat her as a normal kid who's done something wrong, we did see before with John she couldn't grasp why the batteries on the walkie-talkies were so important that she had to check them. It is still hard to make her out, is she bad or has problems no-ones been bothered look into and get help for? It was a good point Alf made about Eliza being an Emergency foster child, as usually they are only with them overnight or a couple of days until SW or the authorities place them in a more 'permanent' home. We'll have to see how it goes with Roo going to see who it is she's going to see but is it wise for Harper to be seeing Eliza what with her obsession with Harper's pregnancy and is due any day now. Why are they - Eliza and Harper - seemingly in the middle of nowhere and it looking like Harper is going into labour? What happened to Wednesday's trailer of Gage spotting Theo and Lacey? Btw Meda it wouldn't be so nerve racking if they had got a room. Gage is very determined to have Theo's car, I know nuffin about cars but it did look very impressive, prompting Gage to offer 25,000 for it. Gage did come across as being very controlling the way he was with Lacey, his arm round her neck and leading her away, Bree could relate to that. I was mightily relieved Bree told Remi the truth about who she was meeting and loved her 'now play nicely' to them when she left them. They did make up and and Sonny let Remi in on what was happening with the RB's and why he had got out, but did express concern about Theo. Theo may be into his racing and knows what the RB's are into but no way would he be fitting stolen parts in his own motor. Phew with Justin sharing what little he knows with Leah so no secrets.
  16. Roo though is so in denial that Eliza has problems she can't be expected to handle, she's letting her compassion rule her heart when her head is telling her something different. She does have doubts but but doesn't want to admit them. Did you notice she told Alf to be quiet in case Eliza heard them talking about her. Alf had been on Eliza's side before he went to Martha's don't forget, until Roo told him Eliza had stolen his knife, has she put it back where is should be btw? To give Marilyn some credit she didn't tell Alf why she didn't feel safe at home, just said he'd need to talk to Roo. Did Roo have to air her grievances in public like that? I wouldn't have said Abby was being ridiculous about Mali saying the L word - twice, Levi echoed what Eden said to him about him and Mac starting a family. Abby had seen her family break apart when she thought her mum and dad were a solid couple and she was pretty young when it happened, as Levi and Imogen were but as Levi said no-one can guarantee a Happy Ever After, you just have to be brave enough to take the risk. You may get hurt but you may not. Mali's mum and dad from what he's said had a good marriage so not able to see it from her side. Anyways as we saw Abby bit the bullet and told him she loved him. Come to think of it has there an instance of a long and happy marriage/partnership in the bay? I suppose you could count Alf and Martha, but she feigned her death and was away for many years before they reunited. Both Justin, who OK hasn't known Sonny that long and Remi are ready to blame him for Theo getting involved with the RB's. Sonny, unlike us, didn't have a clue who they were but it didn't take him long to cotton on they were bad news and want out. The way they are talking it comes across as Sonny leading Theo astray because he's older, Theo is an adult and perfectly capable of doing his own thing, it's the excitement of racing and Lacey of course. Remi said himself he doesn't know what Sonny has been up since he last saw him just thinking the worst. At least Bree, on the quiet, has reached out to him. Not looking good for Theo and Lacey as we saw in the trailer as Gage caught them having a 'secret' snog in broad daylight.
  17. It was a knee jerk reaction by Harper telling Tane he couldn't be involved in Archie's life and she had asked to meet him on the beach. It was rather poignant with Dana and Harper standing there waiting for Tane and people were carrying the flower arrangements away and you could see other people taking the props down. l in the background taking down the He can get a bit gung ho when it comes to babiesl look at how he was with starting a family with Flick and Maia/Poppy. Him shouting at her wasn't helping and she is due next week so didn't need that. I thought the reason she didn't want to tell Tane about the baby was because it was a one night stand so they weren't even an item back then so didn't want to say "Hey guess what, you're going to be daddy". Many a guy gets trapped like that. We may be forgetting that not long after Tane and Flick broke up Tane misread the messages he thought Harper was sending him and moved in to kiss her after one of their lessons and she backed off. Harper was happy or so it seemed to let Tane make all the Wedding arrangements, small service, only a few friends no fuss, no fancy clobber, he had been there and his and Flick's wedding was beautiful so no way could that be topped. But it wasn't just his Wedding it was Harper's so she deserved a say in it. Cash again was the one talking sense, even mentioning his mistake about dumping Eden for the wrong reasons. Brave in a way for Tane to go and see Harper after that altercation. He accepted the fact he wasn't going to be allowed at the birth but hoped he'd be involved in his life and she didn't say no. He would be a good dad so hope they can reach an arrangement that suits both them and Archie without going down the legal route which can get very messy. It did put the kibbosh on Eden's proposal when Cash said she was right about taking it slowly, hope she tells Kirby so she doesn't put her foot in it. Talking of Kirby yes she can't expect Mali to let her off work when the muse hits, but to give her due she has now told him it's not just writing the songs, she's got an album to record so would be leaving anyway. Hopefully he can find someone new, he certainly can't do it all on his own. Even Abby was willing to pitch in if he needed help despite their earlier agreement it wasn't a good idea to be together 24/7. I have to say Abby's dress for the Wedding was lovely - so her, slightly hippiesh. Mali scrubs up well too. Then Cash tips up and breaks the news. Credit to all of them going back to Salt and packing things away. That was an ultra cringe moment when Levi blurted out why he and Mac wanted Home Farm to themselves. Definitely something neither Mali and especially Abby will find easy to get out of their minds. It's like kids realising their mums and dads don't just got to bed to sleep. Ok they are all adults but what goes on behind their respective bedrooms doors is their concern and doesn't need thinking about let alone saying out loud. Anyways why couldn't Mac and Levi go away for the night instead of paying Mali and Abby to stay away? Mali has said the L word to Abby who didn't take it too well. Mac has visited Dean, Ziggy and Izzy before this trip so Izzy isn't that much of a stranger to her.
  18. Oh there are plenty of short days in the bay. People can walk from the Diner in broad daylight and by the time they reach the Beach House it's dark. As the old saying goes 'better late than never' with Harper deciding she couldn't marry someone who cares for but doesn't love her. Said many a time she knew he would never love her the way he loved Felicity but there are different kinds of love, Johns' big love was Gina but he fell in love with Marilyn and she knew it wouldn't be the same kind of love he felt for Gina. Bad timing or not Tane getting asked by Cash that very question and she took the words out of my mouth when she walked in on them. He could have lied but his hesitation and the look on his face said it all, but then he actually admitted it. Going by the trailer though it seems Harper doesn't want him anywhere near 'her' baby, that's going to be pretty tricky seeing as the live in the same town. There hasn't been any mention of Tane's family turning up, we know he has an extensive family, didn't some come for Perri's party, it would be quite a distance for Nik and Bella. Anyways they would have had a wasted trip wouldn't they? Kind of guessing Eden won't be asking Cash to marry her, definitely not the right time. Kirby nearly dropped her in it before. Just as Irene had girded herself up to go to the Wedding and chosen the dress Harper dropped the bombshell on them, that was sweet John giving her a hug. Cash is in the middle really Tane had been his brother-in-law and he's a friend as is Harper. Kirby does need to have that talk with Mali, she won't be able to fit both commitments in and do them justice. I guess Leah and Justin would put the blame on Sonny as will Remi but they haven't see how Theo is around the RB's and Lacey in particular.
  19. I don't think Eden - btw did I miss her streaks disappearing - had seen for herself how Harper and Tane were together which has changed her mind. I think Harper was just staying o/n at Tane and Cash's. Tane is convinced or convinced himself just caring for Harper is enough for them to have a good marriage, love - well on his part - can come later. A passionate relationship like his and Flick's was can burn itself out. Flick as we saw wasn't into domesticity unlike Harper. We did see Harper had overheard Tane and Cash talking. Another telling moment was Tane being so reluctant at writing his own Wedding vows and we know how moving his and Felicity's were. That atmosphere at the rehearsal was so awkward. What did happen to the interest John got after Leah and Justin's Wedding? That flummoxed me too Cash's comment. She was, although it got side lined - going to propose to him. When it does come out I wonder how Levi and especially Remi will take the news? Talking of Eden, again, her talk with Levi prompted him into telling Mac he was ready and happy to have a family with her. He was worried in case what happened to his own family - could happen to him and Mac so kind of ironic it was Eden what with the way she was with him when he first appeared in the by who said perhaps he wasn't ready for a baby with Imogen but is now. Mac has been there, done that as Rick broke his family up and doesn't seem worried it could happen to them. If every couple thought like Levi did no babies would ever be born. Mac had said to Eden she wasn't sure if it would be a no-brainer for her if Levi said he never wanted to be a dad. Of course it's all hunky dory at the moment but we don't know what, if any, fertility problems may arise. Mac, having had an ectopic pregnancy, heart problem could even be a problem on Levi's side.
  20. That was a truly heart warming moment when John turned up at the Diner and Irene gave him that HUGE hug. Her apology was sincerely meant and he did say he'd only left so to give her space. He could have blown it though and risked being told to do one by keep going on about her attending the Wedding and she wouldn't have to stay if she felt stressed. She was testing herself when she went into Salt and then there was no-one else about swigging the grog. They were able to joke about it as John even said he'd leave even if it meant him being in mid speech. I was wondering the same about her just attending the ceremony/service then leaving before they get stuck into the booze. We don't know how it's going to be laid out, will the food and drink be that close to where the vows will be given? It may have been an unintentional pun but it made me when Irene said that she'd told Harper even if she couldn't be there in person she'd be there in spirit. Back to the dramatics with Theo, Gage and on the periphery Sonny. To give them credit Leah and Justin don't know what we know about the whole situation, they're assuming - hate that word - Sonny is the one leading Theo astray when he's quite capable of doing his own thing by himself. I still have this niggling feeling Sonny's been involved in things like this before hardly a new thing for gangs to get involved with. Justin is pushing the RB thing and why Gage is hanging about is not going anywhere as the more Justin wants answers Theo is going to be clamming up. I guess as a RB's girl/lady you have to be tough, they may be likely to be able to play away but a definite no-no for them. Oh the infamous you didn't hear this from me line. It's certainly put the kibbosh on the no secrets promise Justin and Leah made. If it wasn't Tane getting married to Harper Cash may have different thoughts about the speech giving the impression that Harper and Tane are a loving couple and happily expecting a little one, but Tane is his ex brother-in-law and Harper is a friend. Cash knows how much Tane loved Felicity and if it hadn't ended the way it did - meaning them splitting up - they would have still been together when she died. Tane could never love someone else the way he loved Flick but that's true for a lot of people, they may fall in love with someone else but it would never be in the same way.
  21. Funny how people's eyes zone in the Blood & Sand tat when a RB rolls up, though when Gage met Kirby asking where Theo was, his sleeves were rolled down so she didn't see it. Maybe just me but I got the impression she was a bit taken by him. It was a wrong conclusion for Leah, Justin and Remi to make as we know Sonny didn't know who the RB's were when Gage approached him as he wasn't aware of who they were and that tat wouldn't have meant anything to him. It was only when Theo told him when they rocked up to their place. Theo's not an impressionable teen, it's the cars and Lacey which has got him fired up. Sonny, as far as I can see it, has stepped away from them and trying, unsuccessfully to get Theo to do the same. Just where has Sonny got his other cash from, he paid Remi back then offered to buy meals, has he got other deals going on - oh wait what about that guy who has offered to buy Theo's car? Leah, being Leah refused any money from him. Remi after a hefty nudge from Bree did make an approach to Sonny which eased the tension between them a bit. Not looking good between Gage and Theo, Gage does like waving that wrench about doesn't he? I think Sonny ushered Kirby away, I thought she was walking up to it, from likely seeing Theo and Lacey having that not so secret snog so she didn't blurt it out to someone she shouldn't. It was hardly discreet though was it? Knew it had to happen sooner than later Marilyn couldn't keep the lie (which Leah agreed with) about John going to see a 'poorly' Jett much longer. Two minds thinking alike, it was her - Irene - blaming John for all her ills that made him go away. Hopefully he'll forgive her, allowing for her just having got out of rehab and come back and as John is Tane and Harper's celebrant, he'll need to come back pretty soon anway. Ditto with Kirby getting her pants in a real panic, by overtweaking her music, so OK a little bit, it's been a while since she first wrote it and she could have seconds thoughts about the wording or the music itself, but she was way overdoing it. Of course here we are talking like we're professional composers/songwriters . Justin did finally get through to her. It's not as if Remi will be charging them a fortune, if anything, to use the studio. On that subject how is she going to fit these recording sessions in while working at the board shop, she is going to have a serious talk with Mali. He'll be on his own then as Abby is working in Salt.
  22. I had the same thought about Eliza's explanation to Roo about what she had in her box, she can be very convincing but on the other hand it could be Roo wanting to believe her. She didn't say why the faces on photo of her parents had been scratched out and Roo wisely didn't ask. No mention of the shank of hair though. Good point about her being sent to her grandmother if she was a danger to her parents. Bizarre thought but did she take the ring of her nan after she allegedly pushed her down the stairs. The lighter, if Eliza is to be believed, was her nans too. She did listen to Roo when she said the knife could be returned to Alf when he comes back. Have you noticed she very rarely smiles? Harper did try and help and nearly got through but then Tane went into protective mode. I can see where he was coming from Harper isn't far from her due date and she doesn't need the stress, not good for her or Archie. I'm guessing that is why she decided not to see Eliza again but in her eyes, only my speculation, she's been rejected again. Sad for but at least it was only him getting burnt. Kirby was getting herself into a real knot about how Justin would go with Forrest. He and Remi were right about how much to offer him too much would be just as bad as offering him too little. Do you go high and haggle down or vice versa? Anyways Justin for all his inexperience did crack it, hope he had someone with him to read all the small print behind the small print. It certainly took off a lot of pressure on her. She can use her old songs, tweak them if she wants. Bree isn't finding it as much fun as she thought it would be living on her own, did she really say she'd never lived on her own before but surely she must have, where did she live when Jacob was away? Remi was surprised - nay shocked - when that bundle of money - 500 was left by Sonny. He said himself he'd never paid back any loans before so naturally he was worried. Gentle hint by Bree that Remi should maybe talk to him. Bad Mali teasing Abby like that.
  23. Roo has now, finally, caught on what Eliza can be like. I've been saying for ages where has Eliza's SW been, no follow ups to see how Roo is coping, nothing, zilch, nada. So it was very handy Harper is back, she has met her so knows how she can react to certain things so able to see Roo's problem and now Roo has filled her in about what happened with the lad - naming no names - Tane's programme has suggested that Eliza needs specialist help, something Eliza's SW should have done in the first place, they have been totally remiss in that regard. Remember Cash told Roo Eliza had to be forcibly removed from her parents but we don't know why do we. Was it her in danger or them? Eliza was very keen to meet up with Harper when Roo told her she was back and what is her obsession with the baby? Eliza was very sharp spotting her music box had been moved so naturally she opened it and spotted the knife had gone but then went rushing to Salt, how did she know Roo was there, and ranting that she'd stolen 'her' knife in public which also meant Harper could see for herself what Eliza's behaviour could be like. In a way that was better than Roo returning home and having Eliza menacing her like she did with Marilyn. Your brain doesn't always behave rationally when you've had a shock so I'm guessing that is why Roo hid the knife in the pantry, nearly got caught though when Eliza suddenly popped up behind her. The teddy bear was a lovely gesture but of course it's not going to be that simple and we did see in the trailer she was burning it so Roo didn't remove the lighter. On that point, I may have missed something, but had the fact Harper is having a selective C-section been mentioned before? I'm supposing it's because of the problem Archie had that a C-section would be easier on him. Eliza is no average kid intelligence wise, could that be part of her problem? Her fascination with the Pharaoh's and why they have certain items buried with them was interesting and what she would call them - trophies. Is that what she calls the items in her box? Two ladies didn't get the response they were expecting - Harper and Mac. Tane's reaction to having Harper suddenly reappearing was lukewarm to say the least. Distance didn't make the heart warmer on his part, she had to ask for a hug and her face said it all. At least Dana was pleased to see her back and Archie got a welcome home pat. Then Mac not getting the response she was expecting from Levi, though to be fair it would have knocked the wind out of his sails when she blurted out she wants a baby. A very stilted dinner followed with neither of them knowing what to say. On a quick aside plaudits to Tane keeping her confidence and all he said to Levi it was nothing to do with what happened in Queensland. There can be two ways to take Levi's answer to it, does he want children at all so could be why he suggested to Mac they think about it and maybe it was a knee jerk reaction to seeing Izzy and finding out Ziggy is pregnant again and he has only just got divorced. I can't remember how he was with Izzy, did he connect with her or keep his distance? If he doesn't see himself ever being a dad he should be honest and tell Mac so they can see how they would go on from here. Another thing Levi having been her doctor he would have read her medical records so would know about her ectopic pregnancy, she is only in her early 30's so no biological clock clicking just yet. I'm guessing as Mail looks on Mac as a surrogate sister is why he rang Dean and got filled in as to what happened. The animated discussion he saw Mac and Levi were having would make him suppose it was about that but Abby very wisely stopped him from sticking his nose in by saying it could be something else. They had been banned from the house the night before. I did smile when she whacked him for saying she was smarter than she looked sometimes. There does seem a friendship growing between Abby and Dana would be good to see that develop. Fun suggestion Dana take Abby as her plus one to Harper and Tane's Wedding, but although he hasn't asked her Milo would be taking her wouldn't her.
  24. Well Maz's comments to Roo about why she was leaving did prompt Roo to look in Eliza's musical box where she did find some disturbing things, that lock of hair, the photo of those two kids with their faces, scratched out and Alf's knife. What was that other object Roo was looking at was it the lighter? She took a chance actually as she nearly got caught and I may have imagined it but I felt Eliza knew someone as in Roo had been in her box. That was an odd comment from Irene who it seems is OK enough to be back in the Diner itself. She hasn't met Eliza but knowing Eliza and how she can seem to pick up on other's frailties maybe that's a good idea, she does know Maz and knows she has good instincts about people. Another good sign that Irene is getting back to her old self is her not minding about Dana coming home drunk and banging around the place. As she said as along as there is no grog in the house she can't and wouldn't dictate about people going out on the lash. at Abby's idea of a hangover cure. I also think Dana and Abby would be good friends. Turn around for Levi being OK with Mali moving back in OK he was nagged about it, but did like Mali checking with Abby first if she was OK with it. OK we know from what we saw nothing bad happened when Ziggy and Mac were kidnapped, not withstanding Roscoe getting all leery with Mac so I was puzzled why Mac was so quiet with Levi. I can see why she didn't want all and sundry knowing their holiday wasn't as restful as it should have been, folk do tend to want to know all the gory details but it was nothing to do with that. That was a real gob smacker with her owning up to Tane she wanted a baby after meeting Izzy, she did lose one as she had an ectopic pregnancy so it could be risky for her. Plus of course neither her or Levi have even discussed children so wouldn't know if he'd want them. I remember Imogen mentioning having children in a couple of years but that was her plan for her and Levi's future. Tane's now been put on the spot as Levi will ask him if Mac confided in him what the problem was. I feel it's more to do with the cars what's got Theo revved up - pun intended - then the RB's. Lacey is also a reason of course. I actually like her. Brax could be tough on his guys if they broke the rules.
  25. Marilyn did go about it the wrong way, but to give her some credit she did admit to Roo what she had done and Roo went to see the previous foster parents to check it out herself. They confirmed what they had said to Maz, it wasn't proven that Eliza had set the fire but did have doubts, but she was jealous of the other children they had taken in. Eliza isn't a child so would have clocked she was being sent to her room - usual soap ploy so adults could talk privately - that Roo and Marilyn would be talking about her. Roo did a complete turn around from being half convinced Marilyn was right not to trust Eliza but after her talk with her she believed her. Marilyn does have good instincts about people. Not too sure that Roo should be left alone with Eliza as it will mean she can bend Roo to her will. Tane was a different matter though, although he accepted Eliza's rather reluctant apology he still refused to take her back on. He wants to help kids who have problems but he can't take the chance of Eliza causing more problems and he warned Roo about her because of her asking about Harper and the baby. Anyways as we saw from the trailer Roo was looking in Eliza's music box and was shocked about what she found. Hope she put the things back in the right place as pretty sure Eliza would know exactly where they should be. Some lighter moments with Dana and Tane and her trying to pin him down with the Wedding plans. It's not a blokey thing to get into what food ought to ordered but as Mac is away and no Xander there is no-one to sort it. Dana knows what menu Harper would like but he needs to have a say too, maybe some Maori themed dishes. At least Dana has got the drinks sorted with Abbey's help, she did sample quite a few bottles to make sure. I may be getting ahead of myself but there did seem to be a spark between her and Sonny before Tane offered to take Dana home. Putting it down to the drink that Dana was more verbal than she would normally be, though she's never been one for not saying what she thinks, but did give Tane pause for thought. Wonder if she'll remember what she said in the morning. It is odd that Sonny is coming across as the more level headed one with Theo wanting to race Gabe, maybe he's been there done that and how it could end or knew someone and it didn't end well for them. That was a good wedge he got so no surprise he's tempted. Sonny wanted out and of course Leah and Justin know nothing about what he's doing and would have put a stop to it though he is an adult so can't be told what to do. Theo and Lacey were taking a big risk having their bunk up in the garage when anyone, such as Sonny did, could have walked in.
