I suspected that, but didn't want to say it. Sadly I think looks do play a large part in how female characters are cast in H&A. Its like the producers are most concerned with pandering to the type of viewers whose attitude towards a character they like is something like this for example: "OMG I LUV RUBY LOL! SHE IS SO PRETTY N STYLISH 4EVA!!!" I'm not saying Celeste isn't a nice-looking girl, but she isn't the typical, perfectly pretty and tanned type of girl that usually gets cast in the show.

I know, I thought we could have potentially had a lovely couple in the future, but alas it is not to be. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this news, but I've gotten used to being disappointed by the direction the show is going more and more over the last 6 months or so.

I know. It's so sad. Ever since I read that I have been dreading the episode when The girl deserves it after everything she has had to deal with. You're right, I suppose that should be some comfort to us Melody fans. I'd still rather she Compared to her the rest of the teens are so incredibly dull. At least Nicole has some spark, although I don't really like her, and the writers seem hell-bent on destroying Ruby. Which leaves Geoff, Annie, Jai and Xavier, all of whom are rubbish in my opinion.
