Tbf, Ric wasn't wrong. Anyhow, Yet it was fine for C5 to use it in their own homegrown soap Family Affairs... That Mark clown who Lilly (for good reason) detested.
-
His sort generally are.

Bottomline is it was cut. ITV had a chronic habit as the decade came to a Close (and for far far tamer). Channel 5 were a bit more Liberal and the word was used as such concerning Alex Poulos in one drag race. The only time I've seen dialogue muted is on some Coronation Street and Emmerdale repeats. As for bleeping nope.

Good thing too, Neighbours has always been an "easy target" even at its height, that's the last thing they needed! Now I'm thinking of Christian Clark (flop as Will/Sebastian in Neighbours but a hit as Penn in H&A) coming back to ultimately lie face down after Penn washed up on the beach.

Elaine Smith (Known to a generation of kids as Daph on Neighbours and had a brief stint in H&A in the mid Zeroes as a Cop's wife) by her own admission found playing Daphne's coma scenes in 1988 reasonably easy (her interview from the 10th anniversary vid) Others when the Director finally yells "Cut!" are like "It's over, TFFT!"

Most people who suggest/choose being killing off feel like: A)It'd cement their character's legacy B) Bored, Had Enough and Want Out (Nicola Duffett and Linda Hartley of EE and Neighbours fame, respectively for example) C) Freed up to do other things w/o the temptation of returning D) Think it's the only *realistic* end to their character's arc.

That was hacked out by ITV.

Did anyone ever have any *good* flashbacks of that guy?! (I had to get that out)

£1 = sub $2 (but pound's been weak a while)

Very and those filming hours... Dawn til Dusk in most cases... jeez

^Jesus, Milco in his hobo days!

"When I find the Galah who locked me in here, They're gonna be in more flamin' strife than Flash Gordon!"
-
Seems like you get out there a fair bit, Dan.
-
Oof, is all I have to say.

Knowing the producers, she could be turn nout to be another Booth brat but that would make Mrs Fowler condemning Jimmy hypocritical lol (Soaps have a habit of this!)
-
The Wentworth Prison interiors were repurposed for Warrinor (Men's Prison) on Neighbours from 2000-05
-
Probably fight for 10 minutes, realise it's pointless and both get a beer

Tane laid an Egg right there... Even I was like "You're going overboard, man!"
-
Incidentally, I googled Ellison Whiskry last night and came up with multiple matches plus "Ellison Whiskey Home and Away" popped up in the Google bar

True. Even in Neighbours Ryan's kid sister, Lochy got more storylines (well more compelling ones)
-
^ That would have meant a character overhaul for Ryan. And MacDougall relished playing him as a git. I think Richard Norton is cursed playing Forgettable characters in soaps (Ryan McLachlan in Neighbours, Simon Fitzgerald in H&A, Shane Cochrane in Brookside) Grant's 2nd return in '91 was a plot device to help Don.

Terminator Salvation (Not as good as the 1st 3)

If I was to take a census, I don't think Ava would be at the top of the list of people would want back (Theo stuff notwithstanding). But it's not like she lives on the moon so eventually she'll likely return after her results and likely be looking for work to pay her way through Uni if/when she does. On to today's Irene is digging herself a giant hole... Nice update on Roo being on the same ship with Ryder, though (Who really should make a Skype appearance one day just to say "Hey"). Remi/Bree...Ya, later.
