  1. Tbf. It's a Murder trial.
  2. Some people get the idea in their head that they can "fix" people.
  3. That'd finish him *off*. His Ticker's been a bit dicky for a few years now!
  4. I think the only thing that would snap Alf of it would be the threat of Morag (Cornelia has since died but Morag's fate is ambiguous) coming down to stay
  5. https://www.tellytalk.net/threads/“welcome-to-summer-bay”-rewatching-the-early-years.7850/
  6. Good stuff today. Now That's a Cliffhanger
  7. I'm currently reading an early years rewatch thread on tellytalk (dated a few years back) and it's really insightful and a little addictive.
  8. Probably owns a fleet of boats. I can see Matthew Lilley in a skit Hamming up with a captain's hat on (His comic timing when he had Lisa Lackey or Lynne McGranger to play off of was great)
  9. I am over Eden. *Bad Borat impression* "Hi-Five!"
  10. PMSL at Today's ep. Leah played a blinder! Haven't had a good laugh in a while on H&A.
  11. True. Though if I had Carl for a father, a wood chipper, a dumpster or the bottom of the ocean would be viable (frankly cheaper and much more fitting) options
  12. EE came along when people were beginning to become disillusioned with Corrie (1985 was apparently weak, with the Claytons who were highly disliked) and it seemed like CS had "grown old with the audience". The one year of the 80s Corrie was stronger was 1989 (Den leaving was a giant blow)
  13. My Bree Dislike-o-meter is at 8.8 right now. And on Social Media, a lot of people are finding her insufferable, too.
  14. I dunno who's done my head in more this week; Abi or Bree...
  15. The one time it got contentious was a couple years later with her and Irene was when she and Sam were a thing during his return failed surfer/weed smoker/jerkass arc.
  16. Guess his Stealth training in 'Nam was beneficial lol.
  17. Killing Chloe off was to aid Ben/Jesse's departure and put the Scott/Hayley/Kim paternity storyline on the Backburner for a few weeks. And yep after Corey had Leo break into the Beach House to poison Irene, she saw a vision of Chloe.
  18. She is. She is mentioned by James a bit and sends him some $ in a card for what is an otherwise lackluster 30th birthday for him and is see in flashbacks before he leaves But with Mitch nobody noticed too hard and Isla/Shannon was short/baby faced enough to a believable 15 when she started.
  19. Matt took forever to weather as VJ and made Will/Jett look about 11 when he stood next to him.
  20. Bree and Abi need a good hard slap of reality to bring them down from whatever planets they're on.
  21. Not if you were a patient It's part of the dogged "This joint's your home for as long as you need, love." mantra of Summer Bay House and the Beach House, to a degree.
  22. Almost like Yeardley "Lisa Simpson" Smith playing Putter in The Legend of Billie Jean who was 12-14, when she was 21!
  23. They likely gave her a boomerang pass ala Damian 1995-96 and Sam throughout 2000 into 2001.
  24. Shelley had met someone named David Callahan during her divorce from Rhys but it ended over his phobia of scars which Shelley recieved when giving Kirsty a kidney. He also represented Dani in Sutherland v Phillips II (When she ran down Kane) She returned in 2009 for Kirsty's exit following her miscarriage of Miles' baby. She took her and Ollie back to the City.
