  1. It's as a light Cymbal effect, like the 1998-2011 theme. Seems.a lot seems to get your goat lately, tv intros, Craig McLachlan (I can see how he can be Marmite to some)
  2. Bit of Yakkety Yak (Don't Talk Back!) today...
  3. "I am NOT a man who keeps Whisky in his desk drawer." *beat* "Try that filing cabinet."
  4. Tbf, they were keen to get Alistair to stick around as Ryan for a little while as he was pretty popular on and off screen with the girls. It's documented Mouche had enough, Dannii wanted to show the world her sister wasn't the only Minogue who could have a recording career, Belinda's attitude became a problem by her own admission, Andrew/Charlton fell behind on College and he had to give the role the boot. . They had *that* moment and were interrupted, unfortunately.
  5. Doc Misery's back then is she, but wouldn't wish what she's been through on anyone (Close Mate lost both his parents a while back and another lost his Father and his Mrs lost her mother) Had to laugh at Theo. I'm surprised his shirt wasn't freaking him out while "out of it" as it's a bit... "live". And Valerie, no matter how good you look, NO shoes on the bed!
  6. It's documented the final quarter of 1989 was... idiotic in parts.
  7. *sighs* Valerie... It's always the pretty ones that are cuckoo! *does loop finger gesture* I think the writers are High at times so this balances it out lol Dana... Great set of pins and would rather chill in the house of a (presumably Fri) evening. My kind of girl! And yes, Theo and Kirby sounded like a couple of Cats that .. had... "things done to them"! Yeesh!
  8. In her first ep her mouth went 25 to the Dozen!
  9. ^ And tbf, the ones listed really didn't stick around that long a year max in initial stints (Richard Norton seems to be cursed in that respect, He was equally forgettable as Ryan McLachlan in Neighbours as he was Simon Fitzgerald! Both were basically peripheral others' stories and not really having footholds of their own save 1-2 stories) I think of all them Grant appeared the most and had the most potential but Craig's star power didn't really transfer over despite his conscious attempts to distinguish Grant from Henry.
  10. So done with Mac and the Doc, if his Mrs shows up and chins you both, I'm cheering her on! Let's hope it's not 5 steps forward then 10 back for Leah and Justin after this. I saw when Remi was coming from ; Sometimes when you're vexed at person, you want the people who helped the perpetrator, be it willingly or under duress, beaten with the same belt. Their lawyers probably told them "You're in a BIG Cartload of S***, Your best bet is to cop it sweet and take a lesser term." Still no last names for these guys, though...
  11. Nick Freedman quit as he didn't want to be a long termer and wanted to concentrate on his music (was in a band called Lurch before H&A) and also secured Pantomime work in the UK, plus he couldn't deal with the fan attention so cut his hair. Plus he and Isla didn't see eye-to-eye and basically trashed her in interviews. Dee Smart got into it with the producers (She had had enough) and that was that and it was like Lucinda ever existed after that aside from the Episode 4000 montage where she's in archive clip of Ep 1030 with Fin and Soph, where the latter has just birthed Tamara. As for Damian, I dunno. Maybe because Matr was leaving and the writers didn't see the sense in investing in a pairing for him that played 3rd fiddle to Shane/Angel and Sarah/Tug (they were done at that point but the attraction was still there and they got their happily ever after). I guess he was supposed to be unlucky in love ala Brett Stark from Neighbours (who in a recent update eventually got married). The only thing Damo is married is to the church according to Irene in recent years. He stuck with the Priest thing and eventually moved to Kiwiland.
  12. The problem with the current show is it's a bit less cohesive and more disjointed.
  13. It was mentioned that Pip was supposedly this "Groovy Chick" in the Free love Decade and her pink record player was pulled out of storage for Sally's unsupervised 12th in 1991 where Sal locked lips with Peter Mansell.
  14. I'm just thinking of how past Doctors would have handled Remi and his stubborness, Flynn and Rachel would have tried to reason with him, James would have called him an idiot and msy have used reverse psychology and Christian probably would have picked him up and carried him to NDH kicking and screaming Mac/Levi...
  15. They recycled the Watson Badge, They keep Richard Sydenham as a prosecutor but always rename the guy, so I put nothing past props
  16. She was just old before her time. With Barlow. It was the build, the tache and the crew cut. It's like pro wrestlers Ray Taylor and John Tenta (better known as Big Bossman and Earthquake, respectively) who were only their mid 20s at the start of their careers but their facial hair and weight really aged them. And with Ailsa, she did time when time meant time, so there's that plus her trauma (Shauna's conception)
  17. Wait... Leah's still using Patterson-Baker in certain places? (Based on being in Eden's contacts) I guess Remi would rather half-die at home.
  18. Justin it was a nice moment but you ruined it! Wonder what makes Miss Valerie tick... (Soft spot for Redheads, ya see, Isla/Shannon for example, also WWE's Becky Lynch to name a few)
  19. Flick would drive anyone to murder tbf lol so I like that part but it smells a bit... "Emmedaley" *walks away whistling theme song*
  20. It helped that Travis was already known to locals as a bay native who recently came home and had links to established characters (Rob, Donna, Stevo) I just found Peta vanilla until they paired her with Edward (who was anything BUT) . No spark in her little thing with Will.
  21. Palmer must like the taste of leather as he's always putting his foot in his mouth! Mac, You were always gonna end up in a world of hurt getting in bed (literally) with Doc Fowler.
  22. That was Crossroads and Neighbours, to a degree. H&A probably did but it's likely on their blooper reels
  23. ^It's all a bit disjointed at the minute, Tbh.
  24. Well, with a cop moving in the street it was gradual. But at least we still have a "party house" in the street with Haz/Mackenzie/Byron and Holly and Sadie, who may as well be living there. Plus there are characters with records don't forget at least three characters who have been nailed on driving offences
