  1. Annie is immature and judgemental. I don't think she would fit in with a Xavier/Nicole/Trey/Ruby group well. Her and Jai are better of on their own. Maybe we should take this to the Annie thread though.
  2. I think Nicole seems slighty surprised that Ruby is being so nice to her, I do think Ruby will be really good for Nicole though. I do feel bad for her as with all the pressure of Roman's problem and the sleaze bag Gardy hanging around, she's lost a little of her spunk recently. I hope she can get that back and go back to a bit of the old Nicole. I think Annie and Ruby's last scene together is in the dinner when she tells Annie about Geoff/Claudia being in the caravan. I got the impression that Ruby seemed to realise at that point what a drippy little shrew Annie really was.
  3. Off topic here; but if I was Ruby when Annie said to her 'perhaps Charlie would be happy with a man', I would have shot back: 'Next time my sister finds you trapped down a storm drain...I'm gonna tell her to, leave you there to drown. Beatch...' In regards to Ruby/Nicole's friendship; though I like it, there's something a bit random about the whole thing. Like it being plot device in the whole Roman/Gardy/Nicole story... Totally what I was thinking. I would have loved if Ruby had said "Well maybe YOU would be happier if Charlie left you down the storm drain!" As random as Nicole/Ruby is, I can forgive that because its seems natural that they would be friends and they work together well. The show has been missing a teen girl close friends pairing for a while and they work well together. Plus, its about time they got Nicole a female friend since she has been saying that she would really like one for a while, remember how she tried to make friends with Belle at one point and then Joey. Most of the girls around her age did have a negative impression of her, thinking she was a tart or out to steal their boyfriends which is a shame because I think early Nicole's attitude was all a bit of a front. Ruby seems pretty non judgemental so she's an appropriate friend for Nicole.
  4. Oh I went back and watched Ruby's first episode and yeah and Nicole/Ruby really got off on the wrong foot. In fact it assumes me now that it was Ruby who got the last word in their first encounter and not Nicole.
  5. Yes Ruby/Nicole seem a really good friendship, much more appropriate than Annie/Ruby. Speaking of Annie it seems like Ruby has given her a wide berth since her comments about Charlie, I guess she has seen what kind of judgemental little shrew Annie is.
  6. It kind of came out of nowhere but I really liked it. Nicole has often said she would like to have a female friend and I think Ruby might have outgrown Annie to an extent. Also we haven't had a good girl friends (not girlfriend I should add) one the show since Cassie/Maddie. Also now that Nicole isn't with Geoff and is out of sorts with Aden she needs a new friend and Ruby isn't a bad choice, she might be younger than Nicole but I think she's pretty mature, smart and understanding of things. She's not going to be freaked out shocked by whatever Nicole gets up to. Ruby's freak-outs apparently only apply to things involving Charlie for some reason. I think it will be interesting if they keep the friendship up because we haven't really much of Nicole interacting with the girls since she's arrived. I do feel for her though, being left with the sole responsibility for Roman.
  7. Either of those would be the coolest household in the Bay. No offense to Leah but Ruby/Charlie need to move out and get their own place then they can live with Aden. I can't say yes or not to this but the way they are restrictive doesn't really help actors play a convincing couple. You all remember GayMatt from Melrose Place who wasn't even allowed to stand within a few feet of his boyfriend.
  8. Roman was in the SAS - Special Air Service, it's an elite army unit that is involved in top secret military operations behind enemy lines and that sort of thing. Well that's what the British version does. Oh I have to ask do they have conceal their identity in the Australia too, because in Britain the faces of serving SAS troops aren't allowed to be shown on tv, they are always blurred.
  9. Well that might work except Aden is probably going to get back with SelfishBelle and he has to sort out what's going on between him and Nicole as well.
  10. I think they are pretty bland together to be honest, they are both nicey-nice characters and they bring no dynamic to the relationship.
