Nah I love having a character to hate and complain about. For so long it was Martha, then Miles and now Charlie. Ah the joys of annoying soap characters. As for DS they appreciate vicious comments are long as they are amusing. It's when your not funny that you should watch out.

Pretty stupid of him wasn't it?...considering he was one of the first to cotton onto to the fact that Charlie had the hots for Joey... That always struck me as strange how he worked it out before everyone else. I think he was just a perv, not really smart. I'm all excited I've got a new character to hate as much as Martha. All the new fun I can have on DS.

I can't believe she would only get a rap on the knuckles over her sleeping with Joey. Plus living with her when the case was still ongoing...surely this would effect the outcome of the court case - with the rape charges in mind? Man if Robbo was smarter and not tried to kill Joey to silence her the charges would have to be dropped on that alone, surely? If I was Robbo's lawyer I would totally play up the angle that police were corrupt and incomptent in their dealing with the case. The fact that head of station was having an affair with the victim might be enough to put reasonable doubt into the jurys mind and get Robbo off. Of course he had to go and try to drown Joey and run over Tanya which stitched him up good and proper.

I won't because Charlie is almost on par with Martha on my hate list because of the way she treated Joey and I hate when they make all the female characters pathetic and jealous. Also the whole stupid half-witted gay storyline means if H&A ever attempt anything like that again I will have to switch of for fear of my own sanity. As for Charlie still being in a job, well if they kept Jack and Angleo in the force they could hardly fire Charlie who has a positvely glowing record compared to them. If the show was realistic Watson would be running the station and Jack, Angelo and Charlie would have been out on their backsides. I still have the feeling that the writers are trying to alienate Charlie from her friends. Charlie only does friends "with benefits". Friends who cannot provide are of no use.

If I believe they wanted to bring KB I would believe all sorts of crazy things like money grows on tress and the earth is flat. That is I do not all. I am looking forward to Ruby being really cutting and bitching towards Charlie. We know that Ruby is the one person that talks sense around Summer Bay. I don't think Martha and Charlie are that close, I think it is mainly Martha that wants to be friendly, I don't think Charlie has time for friends she doesn't have the possibility of sleeping with at some point.

I don't know maybe if Joey was really horrible to Charlie and Angelo was really nice, she might dump Angelo for Joey. It's logic...Joey needs to learn that. Ruby knows that to expect with Charlie, she's a ho. Ruby will probably more concerned about how upset Xavier will be about it.

Poor Joey if only she had known where she had gone wrong. I don't have any sympathy for Charlie, she's a grown women she should get over it. Good for see Ruby isn't so bad in that regard, but I guess Ross seemed to have more affection for her.

That's why she was all over Roman cos he was all standoffish towards her quite often, me thinks. Perhaps he reminded her of Ross and she was determined to get him to care for her, with the nagging, in a way that she never thought Ross ever seemed to? Well she nagged Ross too, maybe that's why he didn't like being around her very much. Look at the way he talked about how lovely Ruby was compared to that other kid, whatshername again.

As if Charlie needs a reason for sleeping around apart from that fact she resents her father for not paying attention to her when she was a kid, or whatever tedious issues she seems to have with him. I think she treated Joey the worst mainly because she knew she had been through a difficult situation and she should have known better than to get involved with her at all. She should use this for her personal ads when she's got through all the men in the bay and has to recruit from the surronding area through the internet dating.

Melody was the worst character ever but yes I'm a bit bored of storylines about the teens sleeping around but I'm sure those plots will pass soon.

Hormones and thats it's not so young really. It's not that they are having sex younger, they are just getting less mature. It's perfectly natural. Ruby is being way more responsible than Nicole who is sleeping with all these guys because she's really sad and depressed, first Aden because of Roman's blindness and now Trey due to Roman going away. Poor Nicole. Ruby will be fine, she's a smart kid she's not going to do anything she's not ready for.

Terrible Didn't she used to be an underwear model at one time. Since we has been cast out from the other thread I will apparently have to use this one to ask, who do you think Charlie was most horrible, Roman, Angelo or Joey?

I think Ruby is a great girl but Xavier is just a big lump. I find him rather boring, Annie has more personality than. Okay its not a very nice personality but its more than Xavier has.

I was thinking she would see Aden as being too old for Ruby rather than having any problem with Aden as a person. I think Ruby is pretty sensible and mature for her age so maybe in a year or so her and Aden can get together.

although I'm still hoping for him and Nicole... Aden would be a great guy for Ruby if him and Nicole don't get together. Although Charlie would never approve. Xavier is just too bland and dumb, I can't believe she finds him at all interesting. Jai has more personality than Xavier and Jai is basically a pinapple.

No she didn't. Charlie assumed she had(cause that's what Charlie would have done) but Ruby confirmed that she didn't because Pat was a gentleman and told her she "wasn't ready".

Well I like Angelo too, but I really don't like the idea of him and Charlie but I guess like Martha it will be something to tolerate or FF through.

She's constantly frowning and making judgemental comments about people. Charlie should have left her down the storm drain. As I said in another thread I'd like her to go and become a nun. I don't understand why Annie religion allows her to get away with making mean and judgemental comments when if another character said equally nasty things they would totally get called out on it. She's almost 16 now and has time to learn and make up her own mind. But no she's still the same narrow minded little shrew. As for her being friend with Ruby and Nicole, what could her and Nicole have in common?

Regardless of Annie's particular merits I think that Ruby being friends with Nicole makes for more interesting viewing and has more plot possibilities. Annie just drags the mood down when she is around.

There is way more chemistry between Nicole/Aden than with Aden/Belle but I think they are going to end up together sometime in the future but they are putting it on the back burner for the moment. I'm predicting that it will come around again but for the moment they are distancing them with Aden going back to Belle and the Nicole/Trey stuff and Ruby being Nicole's new best friend. However they work way too well together for them to manage to resist pairing them up together at some point. I think they would be great for each other, they seem to have a genuine friendship as well as the obvious attraction and frankly they understand each other better than either of their ex's do. It'll happen again, I think they writers just want to stretch it out for maximum effect.

Annie "The Frown" Campbell bring the mood down whereever she goes. It's not the "less experienced" that is the problem, its that she's immature, clueless, judgemental and narrow minded. She's happy in her own little world and doesn't like to consider there is more outside her narrow confines. I can understand her being friends with Ruby who seems can tolerate alot and be pretty understanding of anyone but I can't see her and Nicole being too close to be honest, they wouldn't have much in common at all.

Sorry I should have said Annie doesn't have an interesting personality instead of no personality because that was what I meant. I think the actress that play Nicole/Ruby have more chemistry together than the Annie/Ruby dynamic. I think overall it might also be because Nicole is a more complex character than Annie who has been written as judgemental with no shading at all. We should seriously move this to the Annie thread though.

I think it's a plot device - to enable her to lay low outta the way of Gardy, at Leah's. However I hope they remain friends still. Possibly, but then again Miles offered her a place to stay as well. I do hope they keep up the Ruby/Nicole thing as well.
