  1. Unfortunately i've got a feeling that was the last we're going to see of May. I said she was leaving next week, meaning this week, confusing i know. I was kind of hoping May would come out on top as it's not like Dawn can prove anything and she'd just wonder off into the sunset. I hate the fact the writers have decided the likes of Dawn and Stacey are 'viewers favourites' and should get everything their way, as personally i can't stand either of them and i really can't wait until they both leave. I don't think Dawn is particularly a 'favourite', it's just that soaps have a moral responsibility, and a person who kidnaps and tries to perform an illegal caesarian on a pregnant woman can't be seen to get away with it! Personally I wouldn't have wanted her to get away with it anyway, but I would have liked her to die in a suitably dramatic way.
  2. I thought that too! And i loved it when May went to steal her! Was it a cheque and a card she gave Dawn??? I remember the card but she put somethong else down and a cheque seems appropriate. After all, Dawn was going to sell her baby to May!! It was a cheque for 10 thousand pounds, but Dawn tore it up. Danifan, was tonight not the last we've seen of May then? It would be nice if she had a more dramatic exit, and to see what happens to Rob as well.
  3. ^ Yeah I agree with that. It was funny, but not really appropriate. I did like the humour with the birth though, especially the guys on the tube ('my aunty's a midwife, init?!').
  4. I've found Dawn a lot more likeable during this week's eps - Kara is a better actress when she has something to get her teeth into, rather than just standing around being chavvy. I'm surprised that Eastenders got complaints about last night's ep - it isn't real people! Personally I really enjoyed it, for the first time in a long while. I wish it hadn't been so long in coming though! And I wish they hadn't messed around with Rob's character so much - I just didn't get where the hell he was coming from towards the end.
  5. Ugh, can't stand May! *shudders*
  6. I thought the results were ok, although not quite sure why Doctors is even included in the nominations, let alone actually winning. Who watches it? I was a bit disappointed that Hollyoaks got more than Emmerdale, but overall they weren't too bad. Whether you like Stacey or not, Lacey Turner does a great job playing her and IMO she deserved the award. I would've liked to see Emma Barton (Honey) get something as I really like her, but apart from that Eastenders doesn't deserve anything this year. Corrie and Emmerdale are a lot better at the moment.
  7. I don't hate Stacey, but I do think they're taking her down completely the wrong path. She was much better before they turned her into Kat#2. As for Bradley, he's another one who's on the way to being ruined (if he hasn't been already). He used to be a sensitive, sweet guy with a bit of a goofy side, but since Stacey's pregnancy storyline he's turned into a jerk. Forcing Stacey into an abortion when she clearly had doubts was completely out of character. Then the way he dumped her, and used Preeti, was absolutely horrible.
  8. Tanya is a great character and actress, so I'm really looking forward to seeing more of her once she (hopefully) gets rid of Max. Just as long as she doesn't get together with Sean *shudders*.
  9. Lucy could be interesting, but at the moment I think she's a bit of a stereotypical brat. Considering her history she must have a lot of a lot of issues (abducted by her mum who then died in prison, already on to her third stepmother, lost one brother and acquired another out of the blue, etc etc!), but they need to explore them in a more interesting way.
  10. The Dot/baby storyline is absolutely appalling, goodness knows who came up with that one. It's a relief to hear it'll be over soon! I agree with you about Jane, Danifan - wasn't there some big mystery when her mum visited about Jane not being her real name? We never found out why she changed it.
  11. I like 1, 2 and 8, but all of them are fab.
  12. I like Garry and Minty, but the double act is getting a bit old now. It's about time at least one of them had a proper storyline - not to mention a decent love interest! The stuff with Garry's mum is good though.
  13. Argh, Stella is really freaking me out! When did 'Enders become a horror movie?!
  14. Trial, lol. I thought it was great.
  15. Yes I liked Patsy too. I was sad to see her go, would like to see her back, perhaps she could bring the ghost of tiffany back with her, now that would be good tv viewing he he I saw an interview with Patsy Palmer a few years ago and when they asked her about what had happened to Bianca she said that she thought she'd committed suicide. I think that's kind of sad as she was always such a fun character (aside from all the trauma!) But it would make sense to people who watched the Bianca/Ricky spin off episode. That had a really sad ending from what I can remember. Patsy also has an autobiography out at the moment.
  16. I hated how they ruined Ruby's character. She was one of the best young people they've had in a long time and not only do they sack her, but they assassinate a great character in order to write her out. Although she's going to be in The Bill soon, so I'm looking forward to that.
  17. Am I the only one who doesn't like May? I know Dawn is incredibly annoying but May is a nutter! The way she's treated Dawn is unforgivable, even if she did sleep with her husband (although she didn't actually know he was married to begin with). Does anyone know what her revenge on Rob and Dawn is going to be?
  18. I really, really hope we get to find out why Stella is such a psycho.
  19. ^^Ok I haven't been watching all the episodes. So what I saw of the Ben/Stella storyline is Stella telling Ben that he can't be friends with Abbey because she lies and can't be trusted. What am I missing here? She burnt his hand, tore up his mother's day card and made out that Abby had done it, deliberately lost him at the London Dungeon so he'd freak out...I think they're the worst things so far.
  20. ^ Aren't you like 17?
  21. Hahahahaha
  22. I can't stand May or Dawn. Or Rob for that matter. But May is driving me up the wall. It's completely unrealistic - I know that some women would do anything for a baby, but forcing your husband to seduce his ex-mistress in your own home?! What does she think's going to happen when Dawn realises that they've been tricking her all along? As if she's just going to hand them her baby, happy as larry! I do like the Stella thing though - Ben is incredibly irritating but it should be an interesting storyline as long as they handle it properly.
  23. Agreed Ash. Stacey sleeping with Max to get back at Bradley I can almost understand, but falling in love with him? The man has no attractive qualities whatsoever. As for Sean, I used to think he was a good villain but now he just makes me feel ill. And May, Dawn and Rob make me want to throw things at the television.
  24. I agree. The only thing that annoyed me about it was the constant baby-name-changing. I know they got criticised for it but I thought they did a really good job. Even the parents of the baby who plays Janet said that it was realistic and sensitively-handled.
