  1. I saw Monday's but missed Tues and Thurs. Monday was ok I thought, could have been much worse. Could someone explain briefly what happened and whether it was any good?
  2. I'm an oldie now! Aww I feel quite tearful.
  3. I don't think they should set the entire week's episodes in France. Let's face it, the characters involved are pretty much the dullest in the show (except maybe Minty, but even he is SLIGHTLY dull!), and the contrast to last week's eps isn't something I'm looking forward to. Couldn't they switch between scenes in France and the square? Oh and one more question...why oh why have they brought Juley back?!
  4. Why should she grieve for a husband who supposedly left her months ago? If they'd gotten divorced she wouldn't be expected to grieve. She'd be a bit upset, naturally, but not the full-on grieving widow. The thing with Vicki's various accents was bloody ridiculous. I don't think they should bring her back - after all, the only thing we noticed about her was her voice, she didn't do anything else! Scarlet Johnson is doing quite well for herself anyway, she's doing theatre and got really good reviews.
  5. I don't think she plays the victim, I think she just is one. But recently, since she came back with Freddie, she's been growing up a lot and getting sick of being walked all over. I like her much better like this, and it shows good character development by the writers and Kacey as well. I think it shows if someone can really act or not if they can pull off changes in their character successfully (another example that springs to mind is Kirsty from H&A - Christie Hayes has been slated for her acting but I think she did really well to show Kirsty maturing convincingly).
  6. Lol another one?! How can it dip any more?! It has definitely been getting better for the past few weeks though. I liked these eps too. Generally I don't notice things like camera angles but the writing and acting was good. It was a lot like when Zoe found out that Kat was her mum. I felt sorry for Little Mo...I know she was more in the wrong than Kat but she never acted maliciously, she just fell in love with the wrong guy. And Kat was awful to her, so I was glad when she started fighting back for once! That was brilliant as it showed a side to Little Mo that we don't usually get to see. Obviously everything she's been through has made her a really strong person underneath!
  7. I wish Jake wasn't back! He and Danny were crap! Ok, so he was the better of the two and he works quite well with Chrissie, but I really object to the fact that they're axing great characters like Tina and reinstating (IMO) average ones like Jake. This week has been good, I agree! But Chrissie's story is so full of holes, how is she getting away with it?! And Ashirr-Leigh, maybe you couldn't do a good fainting act, but at least you're not paid to!

    Emmerdale

Yeah that was the idea - Bob was still in love with Viv so he went for someone exactly like her but he was the only one who couldn't see it! The actress was in The Bill as well, she played Jim Carver's alcoholic wife and ended up dead!
  9. I think Sharon was just in denial. She didn't want to believe that the body could be her dad, especially on her wedding day. Let's face it, it's about the worst luck she could have had! Letitia's 'fainting' was awful though! But luckily she had big strong Nigel to rescue her.
  10. Lol don't expect happy endings for Kat and Alfie when she finds out about him and Mo!
  11. Yeah I agree with you Liz. As for recasting Dennis, I don't see the point. The character is so popular because people (yes, ok, mostly women) love Nigel Harman. Also I don't think recasts work when the character is part of a well-loved couple. Someone mentioned the possibility of recasting Kirsty in H&A when she wanted to leave, so that KK could stay, but the chemistry would never be the same. I really really hope they don't split Sharon and Dennis up. It would be better if they leave together and Letitia decides not to come back. She's clearly not 100% happy at Eastenders if she wants to keep leaving all the time. PS. Sam is about to dig up Den...I think I'm gonna puke. Although,Sharon and Dennis are getting married! Bless.
  12. Lol that's old news princess.
  13. The Mitchells aren't really gangsters, just trouble makers! The whole gangsters thing started to get too much with Dalton, Andy, the return of Den, Johnny, Jake and Danny etc. I don't know about Ross Kemp's contract but I read that his main reason for coming back was that the BBC promised to let him work on some of their other drama programmes, not as an actor but behind the scenes. I doubt they gave him a million pounds - the highest paid stars on the show don't get even half that amount I don't think. I'm not fussed about Grant and especially Phil returning, but I am happy that Peggy is back soon!
  14. Oh for God's sake, this is a nightmare! For a start, what were they thinking axeing Tina?! That's Chrissie and Tina, two of the shows strongest females characters who haven't even been there five minutes, who've both been axed. Yet they let the likes of Juley and Jake Moon come back! And now Johnny Allan is going, it's more than likely Ruby will be axed too, and she's the best young person they've got. I'm so annoyed! PS. Billy Murray is 64?!
  15. Agree about the Millers. The only problem I have with them is that they are constantly inventing new family members! Suddenly Mickey has another dad and there's a sister called Dawn! The stuff with Sam digging up Den's body looks really gruesome...I can't work out whether or not this is a good thing. There's a picture of Sam being driven away by the police in next week's TVQuick and she looks really deranged! I was actually a bit scared. Just watching today's ep; could Kat possibly wear any less clothes?! Yay for Ruby's return though!
  16. Did anyone get their A level results today?
  17. So that's Chrissie, Tina and Kat who are leaving...there won't be any good female characters left! Those 3 are the best of the bunch in my opinion. You have to wonder what the bosses at EE are doing, why so many people want to leave. It's worrying to think what the show will be like when they've all gone...oh, actually, I forgot, it will be full of Mitchells going 'awright bruv!'
  18. Hurrah, my pc is fixed, glad to be back! Can't believe Chrissie is going, she was one of the few good new characters they've had in the last year or two. Jake is ok but this Danny stuff is awful. Is he supposed to be on drugs, or is it just bad acting/writing? *Love* Sharon and Dennis, can't wait for next week! I won't say any more. ;)
  19. You should be happy if you're not an Alfie/Mo fan, because it says he realises that he's still in love with Kat! Personally I am not a happy bunny, as I like Alfie and Mo. Plus I thought he was staying!

    Emmerdale

Thanks Di, that's great to hear, it's about time she gave birth! She looked like she was going to pop these last few months! The name Lola seems popular at the mo, first Sara Cox and now Lucy. And Kate Moss' daughter is called Lila. Methinks there's a trend going on!
  21. Ohhh, lol, and there I was thinking something terrible had happened, like she'd left the show or something! Aww bless you, it's not the end of the world.
  22. Why are you sad Sir?
  23. Oh no! I hope it's true! I read it on Wanadoo, which is usually pretty reliable. It makes sense that he would be tempted by the money, cos he has had a lot of financial trouble recently. *crosses fingers* PS. Hurray! Zoe has finally gone!
  24. Keith isn't Mickey's real dad? What was I saying about bringing in relatives they've never mentioned before!
