  1. I have no idea what is going on in your mind but I love it. I'm assuming from your comment after, toad in the hole isn't a good old English toad in the hole? (Funnily, some Aussies think an egg in a hole in bread fried is toad in the hole!) but a literal toad? Can you please pass on some of your creativity?!
  2. Any good? I want to see it before it leaves cinemas. Mine fully was Dunkirk, but the Smurfs and Good Dinosaur have been on repeat for the kids.
  3. Genius. I have no other words.
  4. This is amazing! The way you've written it, actually allows me to picture them all with big smirks on their faces! The Brody bit made me LOL! I cannot wait to read more!
  5. Amazing! Nice shock to see Nicole and Ruby together! Unlikely pairing but I'm intrigued to see how it plays out.
  6. Wow! Awesome chapter. I was so confused in the flashback scene, I guess I didn't register that it was a flashback and I wondered how Alf was suddenly okay to be looking after kids Also love how Dexter is with his sisters sister (I know that's mixing soap with real life but it makes me laugh!) On a more serious note though this progressed a LOT in one chapter. Poor Leah
  7. Mamma Mia! I have to do a project with my Universal group for MM2, but I hadn't seen the first. I didn't hate it.
  8. Agreed!I I was 2 and a half hours way from home at 19 (obviously a bigger deal in the UK than Aus), in my first of 4 years at university. I didn't have to do anything I didn't want to. If I was at home I'd spend time with my parents, but I had my own car and own money so typically went out and did what I want. Still lived at home before leaving for Australia at 24, but when I get back I'll be moving home. Not because I have to, but because I want to. No pressure. If my parents moved, I'd move with them. I do kind of understand where she's coming from, the home she lives in is no more the family home. But they've clearly shown that the city isn't ridiculously far from the bay. If the family were moving to a different state, then yeah maybe it's a decision of leaving her "on her own" or making her move. But in the grand scheme of things (Australia) it's a fairly short commute and if she shouldn't have been made to do anything. I'm rambling because I don't think the point I'm trying to get across is coming out, but I'm hoping you guys know what I mean
  9. I've gone back to being a cinema buff since moving to the city! Very exciting! Rough Night on Tuesday. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales on Thursday. Wonder Woman this morning!
  10. My friends were volunteering at Comic-con in London a few weeks ago, and one of them got chosen to be a PA for Rebecca and Luke. I had another friend attend who mentioned me when he met them, and then PA friend also spoke about her "big H&A fan friend in Aus" and Rebecca linked me to both people. By the end of the first day she'd scored me this lovely picture. It'll be framed on the wall with the rest of them when I get home. They're now friends on insta and I'm very jealous.
  11. Storms, bloody hot (31 degrees) muggy storms. Power outages and bush fires. And storms.
  12. Met him today. So in love.
  13. The Riot Club. Took a hell of a lot of time to get going, and then it did and it was over. Douglas Booth was the highlight of the film.
  14. I'm not Australian but I have signed cards from Steve, Lisa, Ray, Georgie, Samara. I don't know how I got them as I never sent letters, I just had an email from Channel 5 one day saying they were on their way. Won them in a competition I don't remember entering ha. When I met them, I did get another from Steve and one from Lincoln, but I sent them on to my lovely friend because she couldn't meet them with me (pictures > autographs)! The Steve one he gave me was an OLD picture, the one I had sent with the others was a lot newer, and despite having a shirt on, a lot fitter.
