I would have loved that. Rowena worked really well with Norman and I loved Don and June's character arcs together.

I think she is being completely wasted. She was amazing in 'All Saints' and it almost seems as if she has settled for a reliable income where, as you say, she can tread the boards whenever she wants.

I completely agree with you, Sally Keating. The way Ailsa's (Judy Nunn's) death was treated was well and truly beyond a joke. The producers didn't handle that well at all.

What a cow Julie's Mum is. I can't stand it when parents won't accept their kids being happy and getting a life of their own.

Sadly, I think Pip is part of a past Summer Bay.That has long gone. I really can not see her playing a massive part in the Bay's future. She may pop in to celebrate for a day or so if the Bay acknowledges been on air for 30 years.

It is my belief that when characters are reintroduced as a previous character, it loses some appeal. If they can not get hold of the previous actor, can't the writers justcreate a new character rather than destroying the image and back story that we have in our mind of the original?? Rachel Banno could have worked quite well - If she came in as an original character and wasn't portraying someone who had previously been in the show.

I think you've got something there, Emmasi. Irene would make a good surrogate for Kit. They certainly had quite a relationship.
