I'm glad Aaron didn't get a custodial sentence. He didn't deserve it sacrificed everything for purely selfless reasons. I have mixed feelings about Adam. Whilst I've wanted there to be repercussions for his behaviour, now he's been banged up, I'm not as pleased as I originally thought. Maybe it's because his attitude had changed and he seemed to acknowledge what he had done and wasn't acting completely unlikeable. I'm glad Ross has gone for now. I hope he never comes back but I don't think that's going to happen somehow. Why the HELL did Robbie have to jump in front of Charity like that? Who cares whether Declan stuffs his life up? It was a chance to get rid of her once and for all. And now she wins yet again. Her character has show consistently she can step out of line, behave reprehensibly and there are never any consequences for her actions. And it looks as though she's going to get everything including all of Home farm. It's Megan I felt sorry for. All she tried to do was help her brother and she ends up losing her son and most probably her Declan (although we can't rule anything out until a body turns up). I thought Robbie was a pr*ck and failed to understand what purpose his character served. I thought the writers kept him around for way too long but I think it's so unfair on Megan who I think is essentially a good person. Declan should have at least told Jai and Sam about how he and Charity got rid of Rachel and Archie. And once more Charity is made out to be the victim when (although Declan was crazy) she was in fact the exact opposite. I've been a bit hot and cold with Jai. I don't like the way he's cheated on Megan and his attitude towards Priya and Rakesh's wedding but I thought he was within his rights to fire Lisa. I felt sorry for her and am glad she her episode was just angina and not a full on heart attack but what did she expect him to do given how she was carrying on taking liberties and stealing the petty cash? I was extremely annoyed at Zack's attitude and although I liked the way Rakesh decided to take Jai on didn't like the fact that he offered to help the Dingle's. I mentioned before that ever since she stole the contact details of the guy who supposedly had information about Rachel from Jai's office and her attitude towards Dom at Belle's trial, I've found Lisa extremely annoying. At the moment I'm finding it hard to like any of the Dingles apart from Chas and maybe Cain (sometimes). Sam annoyed me intensely the way he let Tracy manipulate him winding himself up in thousands of pounds of debt. I had serious doubts about Debbie and Pete but now I'm starting to wonder if she may be veering towards loving him. I dunno, perhaps she wants the stability because she knows he's a good guy. I thought Pete and Leyla wound have made an interesting couple and I quite liked the interaction and my concern would be that Debbie would only end up hurting Pete again. Although I really dislike Ross have to admit the look of horror on Debbie's face when he told her he had revealed to Pete what happened between them was priceless.

I was very surprised Belle was sentenced to a young offenders institute. One person who annoyed me immensely during the trial was Lisa. The way she was demanding that Dom stayed away. It was obviously understandable that she wanted to protect her daughter but he had as much right as anybody to be there. And she had no right to tell him not to. Even though it didn't make any difference I was glad Dom spoke out for Belle in the end and forgave her. And it was good to see Cain acknowledge that. Still finding that I really dislike Charity and was actually glad when she and Declan went on their honeymoon. I was hoping they wouldn't come back but if I'm honest I she hasn't done anything too bad (in comparison to before she left). There are worse ways to get one over on Megan than leaving a cute little kitten in a box. Megan had the right idea catching Charity out but she would have to have been way smarter and now that Declan has seen what his sister tried to do wants nothing more to do with her. Realistically the only chance she has is if she somehow finds out about the abortion and proves it to Declan. Can't see that happening anytime soon though. I did enjoy Cain blackmailing her though although Charity didn't really suffer that much. I'm really frustrated at this storyline with Sam and Tracy. She's using him pure and simple and he's only going to end up getting hurt. It's one of those things where just like we knew Charity was going to take Archie from Jai just had to sit back and watch it happen and we will have to sit back and watch this. She's going to bleed him dry and there's not a lot anybody can do about it. Zak had the right idea making it pretty obvious he doesn't like her. So at least someone is watching her. I have to admit, I've found parts of this storyline with Priya and Rakesh quite amusing. Especially the way it's winding Jai up. Best part was when Rakesh caught Jai and Leyla after they'd just slept together and used it as leverage for Jai to back off and accept the engagement. Can understand Jai sleeping with her even though I don't like it at all and think Megan deserves better. I have mixed feelings about Donna's character. The whole cancer thing was very sad. I remember when Rhona found out and Donna wanted her to keep quiet and Rhona was crying her eyes out. Also some of the scenes with April and Marlon too. But I believe she well and truly sold herself to the devil. I can understand her wanting to secure a future for April after she died but not the way she went about it. She not only got into league with Ross but engaged in a relationship with him. This is someone who is an extremely violent criminal and at his own selfishness has had other innocent people dragged into his mess. She still continued the indiscretions even after he violently assaulted someone and left the victim fighting for his life at one point due to failed a robbery she arranged. Then they stole from a high profile ganglord and allow themselves to be blackmailed, still continuing to be engaged in illegal activities. There's no doubt that Ross actually loved her but I'm not entirely sure if she loved him. Regardless even if Donna had been sick it never would have worked. One scene I did really like was when Bob went to break the news to Marlon and they could all tell by the look on Bob's face that it was Donna and that it was something major. Then the shock reactions from everyone in the Woolpack. Irrespective of what I thought they did it was still a very exciting finish as far as the storyline for Donna went. I have literally had it up to here with Adam. I'm so sick and tired of people going out of the way to try and 'protect' him. He tried to burn Cain alive and Aaron had to sacrifice his own freedom, go on the run to try and help him. He gets drunk, operates the tractor and puts Andy (who probably should have gone to court although I understand why he didn't) in hospital almost causing him to lose his arm, then has really bad attitude about it. In fact he has a bad attitude about everything, constantly playing the victim and blaming everyone but himself for his own failings. He then decides to get involved with Ross and Donna, knowing full well they were involved in something highly illegal. Aaron comes back to help him, risks getting caught by the police and Adam still has a go at him coming across as completely ungrateful for everything. Moira's the one that annoys me the most in all of this because with her everything appears to be forgive and forget. She's never once showed him that actions have consequences. Don't get me wrong I can understand she is a mother protecting her child but there comes a point where enough is enough. Has it actually occurred to any of them that it might be better for everyone (himself included) if Adam does go to jail, even for just a bit? I really, really wanted Chas to go to the police and tell them everything and was really annoyed when Aaron talked her out of it. Don't really blame Edna for calling them though. I just hope they catch Aaron so Chas and Cain are forced to decide whether they want to save him over Adam.

I thought this season was quite disappointing. It started off OK following on from Silas revealing his true from last season then continued with the Augustine vampire storyline. But just getting up to the midway point, I felt a lot of the time I was watching the episodes just as a matter of course and wasn't really enjoying them. I thought it made a real difference the originals not being in it (I never watched their spin off). And when it reached the end I was kind of glad. I would say the highlights were Silas posing as Stefan trying to wreak havoc, Damon's friendship with Enzo and Katherine being killed off once and for all. Although she has been a good character she has now run her course and it felt like she was just coming back to Mistic falls to come between the brothers and that's what Elena is doing. Alaric coming back should be interesting and having Enzo there too should be good. Was good to see Lexi again. I always liked her character. And Tyler's no longer a hybrid. Very disappointed about Damon and Bonnie. They are two characters I like, Damon especially. I loved his one liners and just find him so funny despite the killing of all the innocent people. I really hope we haven't seen the last of those two and now we're stuck with two boring characters - Jeremy and Matt. I probably will watch next season but if the episodes are repetitive like this one I may reconsider.

Well it's taken 3 seasons but finally Victoria knows the truth now. I was so glad last season that all the stuff with the Initiative was over because for me this has always been about Emily and the Graysons and the organisation just got in the way of the storyline. The third season started off slowly but towards the end got better and better. Was disappointed Margaux and Jack didn't last but it was never going to work. Still can't stand Daniel and don't like how he manipulated Margaux but part of me thinks that she and Daniel deserve each other. Her brother Gideon seems pretty ruthless (Giving the woman at the bar cocaine so she could overdose and he could use it as leverage to blackmail Daniel) still at least it means he and Nolan can keep Daniel in check. Felt sorry for Charlotte when she realised Jack was involved in the kidnapping. Obviously he didn't actually do it and was trying to help her but she doesn't know that. And not only has David Clarke been exonerated but isn't actually dead and decided to stab Conrad to death after Conrad escaped from the prison. And we got the showdown I'd been hoping for - Emily and her arch nemesis Victoria, all cards on the table. Didn't like the way Victoria smothered Aiden to death but not sure what else his character can do. Also I would like to see something happen with Jack and Emily one day. Anyway the final scene was just perfect, Emily having Victoria committed to the mental institution, doing what Victoria did to her all those years ago. And to finish it off she whispered "Goodbye Victoria", victorious. Although I'm sure Victoria will be back. Emily may have won this particular battle but she hasn't won the war.

Yes that's it. Didn't think you ever watched Hollyoaks RR. One of the most infuriating storylines I've seen in years was when Charity's plan to remove Archie from Jai forever worked. And the most frustrating thing was that I always knew it would and as a viewer I just had to sit there and watch it happen. Charity's proven time and time again what an extremely vile and selfish person she really is. More focused on getting revenge on Jai than she was about her own cousin's happiness. And then when they (She and Declan) got their hands on Jai's money too after he was stupid enough to fall for that guy pretending he had seen Rachel. Does Declan seriously think everything will go well if he marries her? I did actually find Jai's reaction quite funny when he found out about the pregnancy and I loved the scenes in yesterday's episode in the Woolpack where first Charity and Declan were at odds with Cain and the other Dingles then Jai came in with Megan and started arguing with them. I also really like the part where Jai said "Is Charity a scheming cow?" and Cain jumped in and said "I can answer that." It's funny to think that Cain is a better person than Charity is. What happened to Gemma was tragic but I think it was a bold move the writers doing that. I was pretty indifferent about the character but I've liked the way Belle has handled it and it's proven she's a good girl, despite all the pressure from various members of her family she was still determined to do the right thing. I know she was only trying to protect her daughter but Lisa really annoyed me the way she was acting, especially towards Zak (she had already annoyed me previously when she went into Jai's office and stole the contact Jai had who claimed he'd seen Rachel and gave the information to Charity). It's been interesting seeing Dom cope but they can't drag this out forever and I'm not sure what purpose his character serves now. I do hope he changes his mind about Belle and tries to help her like Cain asked although I'm not sure how realistic it was even though the whole thing was a tragic accident. Although I was disappointed with Eric, I didn't blame him for cheating on Val but did he have to sleep with Diane? Still considering the number of times Diane has gotten on her high horse, it just proved she's human like the rest of them. Val absolutely deserved to have that happen to her. I have to admit though she was pure comedy gold afterwards, the way she announced the whole thing to everyone in the pub and made a complete fool of her sister. It's amazing after everything she's done to him Eric still loves her. Although I'd imagine this will get tiresome for some people them breaking up and getting back together constantly. I've actually quite liked Donna returning with April. I wasn't party to the stuff that happened the first time she left so I can't really make and judgement calls but depriving Marlon of the first few years of his daughter's life seems very selfish. And although what's happening to her is sad, it appears as though that's the only reason she's even told him. I think Rhona is right to be suspicious because I can see Donna falling for Marlon again especially when her condition deteriorates. I still think the storyline has the potential to be good though. Oh and I'm still enjoying the bromance with Marlon and Paddy.

I agree about the unlikeable characters. My list would be - Debbie, Charity, Bernice, Val, Kerry, Katie, Victoria, Vanessa, Ali, Diane and Ashley. Ironically though even though I dislike so many people in it, it is still my favourite soap at the moment. As I mentioned above Charity is one of my least favourite characters and I do think there is a slight element of hypocrisy regarding the way she reacted about Jai sleeping with Rachel but I can see it from her point of view. If I was married to someone and they went and had a kid with someone else, I would be extremely unhappy and the child would serve a constant reminder of the infidelity. So even though it isn't Archie's fault I can understand Charity hating him even though I'm not sure I would go as far as disliking the actual child. I'm kind of on the fence with her ultimatum but it was obvious when she issued it last week that Jai couldn't have both. One thing that's annoyed me is Debbie. It feels like she's trying to constantly rile Charity up to exact some sort of retribution. I actually didn't mind Ashley during his humble times when the stuff with him and Sandy became public knowledge. But now that all has been forgiven and he was given a shot at being a priest again he's gone right back to being pompous and sanctimonious. I really like Harriet. I think she is a breath of fresh air and I like that she has a different approach to things (Can't remember where I've seen her - Casualty? Holby City? Doctors?). I was almost cheering when she shoulder tackled Sean and got annoyed when Ali threatened to report her (maybe if she controlled her kids better he wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place). It will be interesting if Harriet decides to take the job offer as priest and sticks around. I have tried to give David the benefit of the doubt many times but agree with what some of Priya said last night. He's not a bad person at all and there is nothing malicious about him whatsoever but he is completely and totally spineless. He got married to Alicia to help her out and didn't have the bottle to tell her during the marriage that he was in love with her. He got engaged to Priya and didn't have the balls to tell her that he was in love with Alicia. It wasn't until Alicia was at death's door and even then he completely sidelined his own fiancee. And he didn't have the backbone to tell Priya that he and Alicia are soon to be wed because he was worried about losing access to his unborn child. I actually feel sorry for Alica and Priya and don't think he deserves either of them although I really don't agree with Priya cutting David out of the life with their baby. Objectively speaking David's proven with Jacob that he can be a father figure and Priya is doing this purely because she can't have him not necessarily because he can't help raise the baby. While I'm disappointed Megan's gone because I quite liked her, I'm glad she is out of Declan's clutches. She went out of her way to help him and remain loyal to him and he repaid her by knocking her about. And she still wanted to defend him in spite of that. I don't see anyway out of the hole Declan's dug himself and Megan's lucky she got out when she did otherwise Declan would have taken her down with him. I'm not sure what Robbie's role is now that Megan's gone. The only reason he's there in the first place is because Declan went behind his sister's back to sought him out but look how that's turned out. He hasn't really integrated with many of the characters and apart from Megan, I can't think of a single person in the village who likes him so maybe he's gone too. I don't like Ross but looking at the way Moira's taken him and looked after him, I don't think he's completely beyond redemption. Even though the mess that happened with the farm getting raided and destroyed and Adam getting beaten to a pulp was down to him, I did agree that he wasn't the actual problem i.e. it was Cain as he was the one who went to those people and involved Ross in the first place. I think some time apart with Moira and Cain might actually do them some good. I think it's interesting bring John's brother and family into the equation. I'm presuming that they are going to feature a lot more heavily in the episodes at some point and there's more of a back-story.

Although quite a while ago now, I was quite satisfied with the conclusion of the whole storyline with Karl. Quite enjoyed seeing Dev and Jason join forces and Jason's concern for Dev after Karl attacked him. Not sure if his sentence was long enough for two murders though. Now we have new owners of the Rovers return although making Steve one of them kind of feels like a step back. Not sure how I feel about Liz coming back. I actually don't mind her although I wasn't sure how I felt about her getting involved with the stuff with Tina and Peter. I guess my main issue with the Rovers is having Michelle there. Never really liked her and I don't really like the way she acts towards Steve sometimes. Re Peter and Carla, part of me wanted something to happen with Peter and Tina purely so that would give him a way out of marrying Carla. I don't think he was ready or wanted to marry her and he went through with it because he was to weak to tell her it wasn't what he wanted. I think he was happy with Carla but the idea of being tied to her for the rest of his life caused him to sway. And I don't think the stuff to do with what happened to Simon had anything to do with it. I felt it was just an excuse to avoid spending any time on the wedding. He was very close to having a drink before Tina stopped him and I suspect he will relapse fairly quickly and become unhappy within the marriage. Worst things are when Leanne finally seemed to accept that Peter and Carla were happy and wished him the best of lucky telling him not to mess the marriage up and the fact that Rob will eventually probably be proved right. I'm pretty sure he warned Carla about Peter before and if it wasn't for her Peter would have gone bankrupt. She's spent a lot of money preventing him from going under so I hope for her sake it's not all in vain. Well I'm glad everything's out in the open as far as the Platt's are concerned re Kylie sleeping with Nick and David trying to kill him. There was one point where I was just so fed up with David and Kylie that I wanted both of them gone. I've actually found Nick's storyline quite interesting i.e. seeing the affect the accident has had on his relationship with Leanne, Simon and his business. Leanne actually annoyed me in one episode when Peter raised concerns about Nick's behaviour then she accused Peter of being a hypocrite because he was the same when he was on the alcohol. Yes Peter may have been hypocritical but you can't possibly expect him to keep quiet when he's worrying about his son's well being just because he did something similar previously. I actually thought Peter was very diplomatic anyway. One thing that I noted was when Nick seemed dejected that Leanne gave Simon back because he was the one thing she wanted more than anything. And he made a comment that she wasn't his wife but his carer. Never really liked Nick. I remember him trying to get Peter back on the alcohol so it could ruin things with Leanne and increase his chances of getting with her. And also sleeping with his brother's wife. However I can kind of understand his attitude towards David and why he gave Gail the ultimatum earlier on this week. I was pleased initially when I saw David in the police station going to confess and so wasn't too happy when Nick talked him out of it. Fessing up would have been the best thing for everyone as at least it would have meant David would face the consequences for what happened and eventually it would allow Nick to forgive him and allowed the whole family to start rebuilding everything. Now it feels we're back to square one. I'm surprised how easily Audrey's forgiven David though. Even though Gail couldn't stand to lose him, at least she was cold and cut him out for a bit. I found the storyline with Faye incredibly frustrating. Whilst her behaviour at times was disgusting i.e. intimidating Mary and humiliating Simon and whilst I was extremely annoyed how Anna defended her when even Owen could see what was going on, my main problem was the real culprit Grace basically got away with it. What a vile horrid creature she was. Well hopefully we won't see her again. And her mother's attitude says it all really. Really not happy about Todd returning it all. He seems sly manipulative and sneaky. He's got Shaun wrapped around his little finger and then there was the way he conducted himself at street cars and the bloke he deceived from London who came after him when he first arrived. Although he broke Marcus's confidence, I'll admit that I actually didn't have a problem with him telling Julie about what Brian did. Brain should have just been upfront with her from the start and it is his aunt after all, although I don't think his reasons were honourable. I got the impression he did that purely to cause trouble for his own amusement. Again as sad as this storyline with Haley is, I'm still finding it hard to get into. I will say that Christian absolutely disgusted me the way he used his own kids to emotionally extort money out of Haley. What was she supposed to do though? She only has months left to live so I didn't blame her for giving into his demands.

Regarding the stuff with Amy, I think her leaving was the best thing. She'd just passed the point of no return and perhaps apart from a short stint inside or her getting some sort of help I'm not sure what they could have done to salvage her character. Val was just horrid immediately following her departure. Directing her anger at just about everyone and anyone with Eric receiving the brunt of it. Felt really sorry for him and kept thinking he should have ended things with her when she buggered off to Portugal and cleaned out their bank account. I want Declan to get out of this mess he's in but boy is he making it hard for himself. And we have they guy who played Pete Callan from Family Affairs as a prospective buyer. Anyway I absolutely hated the way Declan went round to Katie's to basically grovel with Chas there. And I could understand him trying to trick her because if he had been honest no way would she have gone for it. It also annoyed me in the pub when Diane got on her high horse regarding him selling up. I'll mentioned what I said before and that is why should he put those people before himself. They all hate him and I'm not sure if they wouldn't do the same in his position. Then there's that little pr*ck Robbie opening his big mouth and giving the game away. So I honestly believe that this storyline will end up with Declan going under anyway. I've actually felt a bit sorry for Rhona as of late because I honestly believe she is trying to do everything she can to overcome this drug addiction of hers. She's even not taking the antibiotics she was prescribed by the doctor for her infection just in case there's a risk of her relapsing silly as it may seem. It was disappointing seeing Paddy not believe her at first but I was almost jumping for joy when he had her back and took Leo back of Marlon. Marlon really annoyed me and it seemed as though he was making any excuse to not give him back. Even Laurel was being objective about the whole thing. So Charity finally knows about Jai and Rachel. Wow she has got a real temper on her. Breaking the mirror in the bathroom of the hospital and then smacking Rachel. It's debatable whether Rachel deserved it but I didn't feel sorry for her for the simple reason that she thumped Megan a while back. I do think Rachel had a point when she brought up Charity and Declan though. Charity claims that her main gripe is that Jai kept quiet while she fessed up to sleeping with Declan and took all the flack from him but I personally believe even if Jai had come clean then she still would have walked out. I think if Jai had slept with a really attractive hooker it might have been different but she can't get over the fact that it's Rachel, someone who Charity sees as the lowest of the low. And Rachel's also given him something that Charity outright refused. A child. Even though it was understandable I didn't really like Charity's ultimatum with Lisa and Zak but I'm glad they didn't back down. And unfortunately Debbie's back and turning Charity's attention towards exacting some sort of retribution on Jai. See this is one of the reasons why I didn't want her finding out, a woman scorned and all that. I guess one good thing about the truth coming out is at least Rishi isn't painted as badly as he was before. Was glad Priya was apologetic but was disappointed with Georgia. Blaming Rishi for lying anyway even though he'd just had a heart attack. I wasn't sure if Rodney or should I say Hunter cheated on Georgia but if that had been me that blonde wouldn't have needed to offer me 3 grand to sleep with her. I would have done it for free. Not sure I like this whole Priya pregnancy storyline as it seems as though she and David are getting close again so it's kind of back to square one. David is obviously doing it to preserve the baby but it feels like he's leading Priya on and giving her a false sense of hope.

I agree it was ridiculous, especially regarding continuity but I still found the actually jailbreak really funny and quite enjoyable. Whilst I was disappointed Charity wasn't directly involved I do accept the final showdown had to be with Cameron, Debbie and Chas. So Marlon to the rescue and Cameron in hell as Zak put it. I've been extremely frustrated with this storyline with David/Priya and Alicia. I thought David was completely out of order the way he sidelined and neglected Priya when Alicia got shot. I actually felt really sorry for her. I thought he was completely spineless in the whole thing. He was obviously in love with Alicia all along but didn't have the guts to finish with Priya sooner. The only positive thing I can say is that at least he didn't go through with the wedding. I didn't blame Priya for wanting to tell Jacob and her behaviour has been completely understandable. I suppose Alica didn't really have any choice but to tell Jacob the truth. I assume he's gone to find Leyla. This storyline with Amy/Kyle continues to frustrate me. I was actually pretty glad when Amy was told she had zero chance of getting Kyle back. And Kerry really annoyed me yesterday lying to Joanie to get her to change her mind about Kyle. I wish they would just leave the poor woman alone. TBH, I'm not sure I like where this storyline is going. It seems as though they are deliberately trying to portray Joanie as someone who is too old, by herself and struggling to raise Kyle. And then there was Cain's reaction when he realised the child he saw was his own son. Almost feels like they are trying to set her up for giving Kyle back to Amy. I wasn't sure what Rhona's reaction was going to be when she found out about Paddy and Chas but it was almost like she didn't want to get annoyed because she felt she had no right after what she put Paddy through. I do actually hope they manage to make a go of it. And at least Vanessa isn't being a nuisance. A character I find interesting at the moment is Moira. Since she shacked up with Cain, her morals have shifted. John would be turning in his grave. She knew Cain conducted in illegal activities to get her money to pay Declan a while back but now she even seems OK with him stealing a whole load of cars right under Declan's nose, including Declan's own car the using the money to pay Declan back for what rightfully should have been his in the first place. This is bad enough but she also harbours the person who car jacked Laurel, supposedly one of her closest friends. And there's also the fact that she was prepared to help cover up Marcus being shot whilst participating in the attempted robbery of drug dealers. I suppose there is another side to looking at this. Moira values family and is simply doing what she has to to survive. She barely knows Marcus but was prepared to risk her friendship with Laurel because he is one of her own. With regards to her allow Cain's indiscretions, I guess it comes down to her morals or keeping a roof over her head. So I suppose she thought Cain had already stolen and sold the cars there was nothing she could do to change that so she might as well keep her livelihood. I think what bugs me about this is not so much that Moira accepts what Cain has done is that it always seems as though Cain can commit these crimes at will and there seem to be very little repercussions or fallback on him directly. I think there's an argument that Cain actually did Declan a favour - He got £60000 and if he's taken out the right insurance claim on his car he should be able to get full whack for it. Which would be more than what he would get selling it. There's no doubt that Declan has made some pretty ruthless decisions but I'm still on his side and hope he doesn't go under. Just about the worse thing he did was cover up Alex's murder but again I think he was subscribing to the logic that the murder already happened and there was nothing he could do to change it. I mentioned this before but personally I didn't believe him when he said he would reveal the body after festival which didn't happen. He would have had absolutely nothing to gain financially by doing this. But I don't disagree with what he's done since. Why should he put other people before himself? How many of those people would do the same if their positions were all reversed. They all pretty much hate him anyway. So I support what he is doing. Didn't really like the way he spoke to Megan. It's obvious she is trying to do what's best for him so I didn't like when he had a go at her like that although admittely that was more to do with his estranged wife turning up. Really hate Katie. Why oh why did she have to come back? Just hate the way she's moved herself into Home Farm with that constant smug expression on her face. Declan should just through her out. And now she expects him to fork out on a cottage for her. She's indirectly responsible for this mess and the financial situation he's in and wants a free handout. Declan should really tell her where to go.

The best thing about Steve's outing was that it shafted Bernice as well. Can't stand either character but sadly Bernice seems to have gotten over him and is back to making snide unpleasant remarks to Nicola. What I was afraid would happen regarding the situation with Amy and Kyle has happened. Nobody is happy now. I think it's actually brought out the worst in Amy and Val. Val has been particularly vile blaming Joanie for simply wanting to protect her grandchild. And Amy trying to have Kyle taken of Joanie which I think is ridiculous given that she was not supposed to have any contact with him whatsoever. The way I see it she gave him up and with that any parental rights. It seems as though Andy and Eric are the only people who seem to have any sense regarding this. I now actually hope Amy doesn't get Kyle back given how she's acted. Found it cringe-worthy when Ashley told Laurel how he felt and I was willing him not to say anything. Marlon and Laurel have been together for a while and I'm kind of indifferent about them now. Still it temporarily brought out an unpleasant side to Ashley who quite wrongly took it out on Edna. Wasn't really sure what to make of Paddy sleeping with Chas. I really liked scenes with these two when they were friends and think there is a bit of chemistry there but given the fuss Chas made about Carl and Eve and given what Cameron did with Debbie I surprised Chas would sleep with someone else's husband regardless of what she did. I'm disappointing with Paddy as it now seems he is just as bad as Rhona. I do think he should come clean and tell her what happened. Funnily enough Rhona and Cain are both absent obviously on holiday together offscreen. Why do the writers insist of dragging the stuff with David and Alicia out like this. It feels like it's been going on for donkey's years. It's obvious they are in love with each other. I've thoroughly enjoyed this storyline with Cameron so I was over the moon when I heard he would be escaping from prison (this is one of the problems with going into any shop you just happen to look at magazines and encounter British soap spoilers). I've found the scenes when he escaped from the van, came back into the village, took out the policeman, then Marlon in the Woolpack really exciting. I'll happily admit, I've really, really enjoyed seeing Debbie suffer. I hope it continues. I didn't really like Cameron involving Sarah like that but at least he didn't hurt her and I don't really want anything to happen to Chas because I do quite like her. And I think her attitude towards Debbie has been spot on. No way should Debbie be allowed to get away with it that easily. She kept quiet about Cameron killing Carl and her part in Gennie's death and Zak wants Chas to forgive and forget just like that. No way. I suspect however that assuming Debbie and Chas come out of this, Chas will let bygones be bygones which will be disappointing. Now that Cameron has everyone at gunpoint, although she's not a direct target my only regret is that Charity is not there to suffer the same potential fate as her daughter...

Firstly I thought that Sean and Amelia blackmailing Cameron was absolutely hilarious. The look of fear on his face when he suspected that someone was onto him and their surprise and joy when he actually followed through with their demands was good not that I'm condoning what they did. I always suspected that Cameron's time was up just after Gennie died when they showed the tape recorder. And I think they showed it again when Nikhil was collecting her things. Once again another really good week. I suspect that this storyline is coming to an end which is a shame as I've really enjoyed it but I accept that it could not have gone on indefinitely (Interestingly it seems to coincide directly with Karl's storyline from Coronation St). I thought Chas's hardline attitude towards Debbie was spot on. She doesn't deserve one bit of sympathy. Debbie didn't have a problem with Cameron killing someone, just as long as it was someone she didn't like. And had she shopped Cameron to the police when he fessed up, Gennie might still be alive. We've seen Chas forgive Debbie (or at least not hold any grudges) for kidnapping her and holding a shotgun to her head and stealing Cameron back from her but I'm not sure how long it will take her to get past this. Irrespective of how I feel about Debbie, fair play to her for cooperating with the police letting the place be bugged and getting a confession for murdering Gennie. Although she annoyed me when she went to see Brenda even though Chas gave her specific instructions to stay away. Have to admit, I found it really funny when Cain, came in to talk to Debbie about the garage and Cameron was trying to wind him up and Cain made a comment about the time he took him to the quarry and Cameron jokingly told him he didn't like being tied up and gagged and the police heard everything. Thought the scene where Debbie told Cameron the game was up then the armed police surrounded the house before she managed to escape was really good. And Cameron appears to be acting full on psycho now. Although he has also confessed to murdering Alex if the police don't find any DNA evidence linking him then I don't think a conviction is a clear cut as the police are making out. All they've got to link him to the three murders are confessions (possibly the recording with Gennie but even the police said before that wasn't enough) and given how deranged Cameron is now acting I think a good barrister in court will be able to argue that he wasn't in the right frame of mind and a confession is just part of the psychosis. Found Cain and Moira in yesterday's episode really frustrating. Firstly when Cain came in and had a go at Andy for biting Debbie's head off even though his attitude towards her as of late hasn't been great. Then when Cain stupidly let the cat out of the bag about what happened with Cameron when he was going to kill him and Moira got on her high horse forgetting that Adam tried to burn Cain alive. Interestingly Moira doesn't seem to have a problem that Cain conducted illegal activities to get her the money to pay Declan. Although I really like this side of Amy and I do hope that things work out for her, this whole thing with her pretending to be a childminder so she can spend time with Kyle is all going to end in tears. I just don't see any good coming from it. And I think quite a few people will end up being hurt. I was really hoping this storyline with Alicia and David was over, especially now that the annulment has finally gone through but we're back to where we were before were both of them clearly have feelings for one another but neither one of them wants to make the first move and just be honest.

I'll start by saying Emmerdale is probably my favourite soap at the moment. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes last week when Cameron and Debbie's affair was exposed. That moment at Gennie's funeral with Chas at the realisation when she saw Cameron look at Debbie, despite being in denial previously and realising that Gennie was right all along. The best thing for me about storylines like this is when the sordid secret becomes public knowledge. And the scene when Chas told Cain and Diane and Cain went to the front of the bar and smacked him in front of everyone is just the type of thing I like. Not so much the hitting but the outing itself. Charity actually took it a lot better than I thought. I was kind of expecting her to hit the roof so was a little disappointed that she didn't. I was a bit annoyed when Rachel referred to him as a dirty cheat because it's not like she's done anything like that has she? Only went and slept with someone else's husband and got herself impregnated. What I find quite interesting now is that it's gone full circle. Chas stole Debbie off Cameron and now Debbie's stolen him back. I know Cain smoothed things over with Chas a while back but I did like the way effectively Charity had to eat her words. She was an absolute cow to Chas and now she has no comeback as there is not a single thing she can say to defend her daughter. And you could argue that Chas has behaved a lot more dignified than Debbie did. Not once felt the urge to kidnap her and stick a shotgun to her head. However Chas's attitude towards Declan has really annoyed me. She's basically acting the same way towards him that Charity did towards her. She didn't out his covering up of Alex's body because she was particularly disgusted with what he did. This essentially comes down to him doing the dirty on Katie pure and simple. Which as we all know is completely hypocritical given her track record. Also she doesn't seem to have an issue with Charity doing the dirty on her best mate. Funnily enough Charity seems to be one of the few people that has sympathy for Declan and I don't think it's because she's trying to get money out of him or has any feelings towards him. I just think she can empathise with his situation. Would Cain have gone through with pushing the car off the quary sending Cameron to his death? I don't know. I didn't think he was bluffing. There is an argument that Cameron deserves it given that he's murdered three people but it still doesn't change the fact that Cain is a dangerous person. Declan is in serious trouble. He's practically on the brink of going under. You could argue what he did was morally reprehensible but I can understand why he did it? He had taken a big gamble on the festival and had everything to lose so he was faced with a delima when a body turns up. From his perspective if the police conducted an investigation, financially he would be finished. I actually don't believe him when he tried to keep Katie quiet by telling her he would fess up once the festival was over. He would have stood absolutely nothing to gain by doing this and only would have made the police suspicious. Hindsight's a wonderful thing but I don't think he would have been in that much a better position had he gone to the cops at the start except for the fact he wouldn't have to fork out for expensive legal fees to prevent himself from going to jail for murder. I have to say that woman copper is highly annoying. She's sarcastic, smug and really up herself. In saying that she appears to have a nice pair of you-know-whats. I swear blind that she was purposely sticking them out multiple times when she was interviewing Declan. Did the writers actually put that into the storyline? Given the size of her bodyframe I am left wondering whether they are real or not. Anyway I'm really not sure what to make of Jai regarding this. I don't like the way he's seems so smug about seeing the beginning of Declan's apparent demise and again it just seems hypocritical given what he did. Although I accept it's a personal issue as opposed to a moral one. Also, I do wonder what he would have done if he was in Declan position with regards to Alex's body. From a business perspective I can see how it doesn't make good business sense to decline Declan's offer to buy into twenty percent of the business but I think it would be very difficult. Twenty percent is still effectively silent partner status and I just don't think he would be able to put the past behind for the sake of the company. Now that it's been publicly revealed that Alex was the person they found it will be interesting to see the backlash, particularly from people like Victoria, Andy, Adam etc who were friendly with him on personal level. Have to admit though, I quite enjoyed Cameron's reaction. I do think there's inconsistency here. Cameron suffocates Gennie and the police can't tell she was murdered. Yet the were able to tell from the soil samples that Alex's body was moved from one location to another and they were able to identify him as the victim. Although I was glad they managed to make Nikhil see the light regarding Molly, I really hate the way he just upped and left with her to go to Canada leaving Brenda on her own. It just seems selfish IMO. Brenda's undergoing treatment for Cancer, she's not sure how long she's going to be around for, her daughter's dead and they only family she has left has been taken away so I really feel for her. At first I thought Vanessa was using the situation with Rhona to her advantage but now it feels like mutual manipulation. Vanessa is using Rhona's addiction to get closer to her but Rhona's is using Vanessa's infatuation to fuel her addiction so in that sense their both as bad as each other and it feels like an extremely unhealthy co-dependency. It's Paddy I feel sorry for. He's the innocent victim in all of this and is caught up between two selfish people. He really didn't deserve to be hit by Rhona and I wonder if that brought a flashback to when Aaron violently assaulted him. Can't really blame him for going through her phone and their marriage will continue to deteriorate until she comes clean about everything. Even though I don't like Victoria, I found myself really frustrated at the way Betty was trying to keep her away from her own home. Betty is a character that I really, really dislike and is on the same par as characters such as Blanche and Norris from Coronation Street and Coleen from Home and Away i.e. bitter, mean spirited people who don't have anything good to say about anyone, very often make nasty comments and have very few redeeming qualities. Seriously why is she even still on the show? What purpose does she serve?

Have to admit, I thought the poison pen letter was absolute genius. I absolutely loved how it wound Leanne up and watching Nick and Kylie squirm. Although I enjoyed the whole revenge plan overall I do think that David went to far unbuckling Nick's seat belt (although I'm struggling to see what difference it made to the truck hitting the driver side of the car head on when the car was stationary). David definitely needs to come clean and fess up to everything. I found it really funny when he overhead Eva bitching about Leanne to Stellar planted the seed and Leanne stormed into Underworld and wanted to knock seven bells out of her sister. Nick's accident does have the positive effect that's it's brought Eva and Leanne closer together and they seem to be getting on quite well. Didn't have on bit of sympathy for Tina when Tracey laid into her. Just a shame it led to her drinking which indirectly led to Rita getting mugged by that gang. This whole thing with her seeing Jake is a recipe for disaster. I was kind of hoping that this particular storyline was over with. If she starts to bond with the baby then it will reopen old wounds. I'm just waiting for Tina to start breastfeeding him. Still with her onscreen partner having been sacked, I'm not sure how it will affect their relationship. I have to be honest and say, because of the stuff that's happening offscreen, I'm really disappointed we won't be seeing the likes of Kevin and Ken anytime in the foreseeable it seems. Both characters have been there a long time. Kevin part of the furniture and Ken is iconic. There was no doubt in my mind that those guys were going to attack Lloyd and I knew Paul would come to the rescue. Almost like a plot device to facilitate a reconciliation. I knew Paul wasn't/isn't racist. Don't understand what his original comment was and the whole thing seems like a really pointless storyline now. At least it's all good. Oh and I'm glad Lloyd and Mandy split up. She turned out to be quite up herself towards the end. And even though what Jeana was doing wasn't ideal, I don't like Mandy's attitude towards her daughter's choice of employment. I was actually over the moon when Tim changed his mind about leaving. Can't believe I'm saying this but I actually quite like him and Sally together. And the best thing about their relationship is the way it rubs Anna up the wrong way. I find myself constantly smiling at her look of disgust whenever she sees these two together particularly when they cop off with each other. It's a shame because I really used to like Anna but she's turned into a bitter, self-righteous cow. I don't like the way when Tim tried to give Faye money she turned it down flat. And when Sally wanted to know if Faye could come round for a barbecue on bank holiday and Anna said she was having one just to stop Tim from spending any time with her out of sheer spite and malice. It now really feels like she's taken a leaf out of Owen's book of bullying. I'm more than happy for them to look after Faye but I really don't want these two winning with regards to forcing Tim out of town.

Right so let me get this straight. Cameron fesses up to killing Carl and Debbie ends up telling him that she loves him?! I did see on the front of a couple of magazines that something was going to happen with Cameron, Debbie and Gennie regarding a car accident but I never imagined that Cameron would end up murdering her. So he now claims his third victim. I guess with his case the more times you do it, the easier it becomes. Interestingly the only person he's showed true remorse for is actually Carl where you could argue out of the three he was the one who is the least deserving (killing someone previously, trying to rape Chas etc). Another thing that interests me is that Debbie like Chas is bearing the brunt for what Cameron did, unknowingly of course. This time covering for him lying about their involvement in the car crash and not even telling anyone he was with her. They say love is blind and it is especially true in this case - Cameron cheats on his former partner with Debbie, he cheats on Debbie with Chas and finishes with Debbie, kills Carl, lets Chas takes the blame go to prison and face a trial. And now he cheats on Chas with Debbie and lets her deal with the mess trying to cover up his part in the whole fiasco. A while back I said without a confession there's no way of him facing charges for this but with Gennie recording him confessing with the dictaphone in her car I do now believe that Cameron's days are numbered. And I'm assuming this will all come to light within a few weeks. A bit confused with regards to Gennie. Surely an autopsy would reveal she was suffocated so I'm surprised the police haven't mentioned it yet. I actually found her a bit annoying towards the end so am not too bothered she's gone although I'm very surprised as I wasn't expecting her to be murdered. She should have just stayed out of it like Nikhil told her too then she would still be alive. Don't quite understand why when Cameron and Debbie ran after her, she didn't just go straight into the Woolpack. Thought the end of Friday's episode i.e. the scene in the Woolpack with the revelation of Gennie's death was very good. Although Nikhil has annoyed me the way he is neglecting Mollie, I haven't been entirely happy with the way everyone is ganging up on him regarding it because it feels as though they aren't really empathising with his situation. Shame this happened after he bought the B&B as he won't be in any position to do anything anytime soon. This event does seem to have had the positive (or negative) affect of reuniting the Dingle clan. Lisa seems to have put what happened with Belle to one side to support Debbie, Debbie has made an effort with Chas and Cain has reconciled with Debbie (see what I meant in my previous post about Debbie being the center of everything!). I have to say that I can't wait to see Charity and Cain's reactions assuming they find out that Cameron and Debbie are back on and are now doing the dirty on Chas.

Don't like Katie at all but I did enjoy the scene when she outed Declan in front of his prospective business associates. Still I thought sleeping with Adam was well below the belt given what happened with Ella and Mia. So I wasn't too fussed when Declan decided to evict Andy as punishment. I was kind of glad when Declan was almost a step ahead of her, because although he called the police he didn't tell them about the body. And when it came down to it, Katie just couldn't shop him in. Not when it meant she would end up with absolutely nothing. Debbie continues to be the centre of everything. This time having the whole Dingle clan around her after Belle drunk the dodgy booze Debbie hid at the farm causing her to end up hospitalised. I actually really liked that scene. Especially with Debbie's realisation that she had no one. Her trying to take the kids to the airport to skip the country was absolute craziness. Fair play to Zak though for trying to help her though in spite of Lisa. I still think Cain was right warning Debbie off. This thing with her and Cameron appears to have come out of nowhere. To my knowledge Cameron was happy with Chas. The only issues he had were having access to his kids and the discovery of Alex's body at the building site becoming public knowledge. I said a while ago that Cameron would cheat on Chas but I didn't think it would be this soon and I didn't think he would go back to Debbie. I'm actually completely indifferent although I will say the same thing I did about Stella/Karl re Corrie and that is if Debbie's stupid enough to go back to him given how he treated her before thing she deserves everything she gets. I think there's potential for some exciting scenes if this comes out. Charity has already noticed that Cameron is trying to get back in Debbie's good books so she is absolutely going to hit the roof. Chas's reaction too I would imagine would be priceless. I don't dislike Chas but wouldn't mind seeing her suffer a bit given that she stole Cameron of Debbie in the first place, the way she stuck her nose in re Declan and Katie's marriage and given that she cheated on Paddy before. It's not as if she could actually do anything to Debbie and it was only a few weeks ago where Debbie held a shotgun to her head. I'll happily admit that I've found the attempts from Rhona and Vanessa trying to conceal Rhona's drug addiction quite amusing but I think the writers are doing a really good job here. Especially so this week. There have been two occasions where Rhona's behaviour has indirectly led to repercussions for somebody else. Firstly her getting Laurel to driver her around various chemists around the local area (so she could stock up on drug supplies) which led to her being car jacked (You could argue that it was disappointing Marlon not standing up to Cain but I really don't think there was anything he could do). And then there was Rhona staging the break-in at the surgery making it look like the drugs had been stolen, with Pearl ending up taking the blame and wanting to quit her job. Although Rhona's clearly felt guilty and bad for both of them, I guess this demonstrates exactly how strong an addiction can be, almost outweighing anything else. The scene where Rhona was pleading with Vanessa to help her was very interesting indeed. Rhona obviously loves Vanessa as a friend but when Vanessa told her that she loved her back there was just something about the way she said it that made me think that possibly Vanessa could be in love with her. Also when you think back to earlier on in the episode when Vanessa was confiding in Moira and Moira made a remark about her being romantically involved with the person she was trying to help (or something like that) and Vanessa vehemently denied it. There's also the fact that Vanessa didn't want to move out of Paddy and Rhona's and when she just started living at the house she was leasing of Declan she purposely sabotaged the pipes to cause a leak so she could get out of the cooling off period within the contract. Then we have her wanting to buy into the veterinary practice in the first place. I initially thought she was going to try something underhand and steal the business of them but was that really all just to get close to Rhona?

Fair play to Tina for doing the right thing in the end and giving the baby back to Izzy and Gary. Fair play to Tommy too for actually growing some backbone and telling Tina she was the one in the wrong. I actually thought their conversation played a part in her changing her mind. Didn't really feel comfortable with the scenes afterwards where Gary, Izzy, Owen etc were inviting Tina to have a drink with them. Why would she want to be in their company after everything that happened? I don't like David and thought the way he treated Gail in yesterday's episode (throwing the peanuts at her, trying to torment her) was absolutely disgusting but I have to admit, I am quite enjoying this whole revenge plan re Nick and Kylie's affair. I found it really funny when he trashed Nick's place, not so much the act itself but their reactions afterwards in particular Leanne's. When he first hid Peter's lighter I actually thought he was trying to make it look like Peter did it. Anyway I was laughing through the bickering with Peter, Gail, Nick and Leanne this week. Personally if I was in David's position I would have confronted him but I don't blame him for wanting revenge. I found it interesting that he confided in Tina because although I was very much on and off with Corrie before I didn't think they were on amicable terms and no way did I think they were close enough for him to tell her something like that. Which especially had me puzzled by the way she lost it with Kylie in Roy's cafe which incidentally I thought was absolutely hilarious although I would imagine it would have something to do with her giving up the baby. I personally believe that Tim definitely shouldn't be looking after Faye. He has pretty much been struggling ever since she moved in and the fact that he didn't bother to check Faye's story about staying with Anna when he was working in Newcastle shows how out of his depth he is but I still think he should be able to see her. I understand Anna getting annoyed but was very disappointed with her telling Owen to drive him out of town but unfortunately not surprised Owen reverted to bully mode. For that reason I hope Tim doesn't decide to leave just like that. Really, really not liking this sleepwalking storyline with Roy. Roy's a character I've never been interested in, I find quite boring and should be limited to cameo roles.

Even though I didn't like Sunita and hated the way she treated Dev (I always thought he deserved better), I remember initially being disgusted with Karl for starting the fire, leaving her to burn basically being responsible for the deaths of two people. I think this kind of mirrors the Cameron storyline in Emmerdale, Cameron also killing two people and like Cameron without a confession, I don't see how he's every going to be caught. Even though in a way it's very sad seeing Dev trying to clear Sunita's name, certainly the scenes on Fridays episode when he was quizzing Sophie, I do have to admit I've quite enjoyed seeing the effect it's having on Karl. He's actually quite worried that Dev might uncover the truth. I think it's unlikely at the moment. I did feel sorry for Stella initially but if she's stupid enough to be with Karl again given how he stole from her and cheated on her before then I'm inclined to say she deserves everything she gets. I don't really care that Karl saved her from burning as he started the fire anyway. I do agree with Leanne's stance regarding Karl but I have to say that Leanne herself has been absolutely unbearable as of late. All she seems to do mope around with a sour expression on her face, moan and whine all the time. Again I agreed with her stance on Karl but the way she was was so annoying. Then the way she conducted herself when Carla didn't tell Peter that she had arranged to buy Leanne out of the bookies and she was sitting down sniggering whilst Peter and Carla were arguing, refusing to leave. I saw on the front of a magazine a while back a caption suggesting that Karl was going to kill Leanne (obviously it didn't happen) but I was thinking at the time, you know it wouldn't be such a bad thing if that did happen. There's no denying that Rob got some pretty big orders into Underworld but he never would have been working there if it hadn't been for Carla. He has a criminal record and she gave him a chance where most people wouldn't. I get it must have been frustrating for him working with Peter and I thought Peter was acting like an idiot incidentally, (he was such a dinosaur and resisted every opportunity Rob made to actually improve the place and bring it into the 21st century) but it was still a job he probably wouldn't have gotten elsewhere. So trying to con Carla out of 20 grand was really low and TBH he's lucky he's not back in a prison cell. And that fact she actually gave him £5000 speaks for the type of sister she is to him. I think the person he really annoyed me during all of this was Michelle, she keeps making smart remarks, acting like she owns the joint when all she is, is a glorified PA. Chesney is such a wet blanket. He does my head in and very often launches into self-righteous rants so when Katie first started getting close to Ryan when they worked together at Dev's takeaway, I was willing them to cheat on him (even though I don't like Ryan at all) and I was glad when they did. I always thought he was punching above his weight when they were together and I think Katie's behaviour is entirely plausible. I will say that I did agree with Owen when he gave her a piece of his mind. I found this stuff with Izzy, Garry and Tina incredibly frustrating. I don't like Tina at all and one thing that really frustrates me is that a lot of blokes seem to think that the sun shines out of her backside so I was annoyed when Gary tried to kiss her, which was ironic given how he acted when he found out about Katie and Ryan. Even though it's perfectly understandable I've personally found her really annoying as of late and I was glad when Katie had a go at her in Roy's cafe even though Katie completely got the wrong end of the stick and came across as totally hypocritical. It also really annoyed me how Tommy jumped in and tried to act the hard man re Gary. Tina has been particularly annoying this week since she gave birth. She was moaning to Tommy about the baby's name and then harping on about how much he means to her. Although her reasons were selfless she agreed to this arrangement for financial reasons. Biologically it's not even her child, she's given birth so it's none of her business anymore and now she wants to keep the baby. If Tommy really wants to be useful he should be trying to dissuade her and Tina should just get over herself. Found the scenes hilarious re Maria and Marcus when they went to Marcus and Sean's friends wedding, particular their disbelief that Marcus is now in a relationship with a woman and Sean sniggering as a bystander eagerly awaiting his friends reaction upon finding out.

Some of the storylines have actually been quite good. Debbie taking Cameron's kids to Carl's grave as an attempt at scaremongering re Chas. Debbie kidnapping Chas and holding her at gunpoint. Charity almost discovering that Jai had fathered a baby with Rachel and Rishi jumping in and taking the blame to protect his son. I had mixed feelings about that. Whilst part of me wanted Charity to find out just to put her out of shape, I have to admit some scenes following in particular the sheer disbelief that Rachel would even go there was hilarious and actually had me in stitches. I think Rishi has tried to be selfless but I can't help thinking it isn't fair on his other children. Don't really give a damn how Georgia feels. I wanted to see Debbie and Robbie get together because I think it would be different but the way Robbie's been acting, completely obsessively I don't think it would be a good idea now. I was surprised at how Debbie reacted though given that Charity revealed the truth about Robbie being behind everything. I was expecting her to tell him to get lost but she seemed to politely indicate that everything was OK regarding Kirk and he didn't need to stay over anymore. And even when he tried to kiss her earlier in the episode she didn't react anywhere near as badly as what I thought. It made me wonder whether she was feeling so isolated at the moment that she didn't want to completely cut him off because she just wanted someone there purely as a friend. I do agree with a comment that was made a while back in this thread in that Debbie does seem to get a lot of the main storylines. Again can see both sides from the storyline re Cain and Adam. If my mother was going out with Cain, given his track record I would be extremely worried about her too and wouldn't be happy about it at all. But the way Adam was trying to get a reaction out of Cain I would have been tempted to smack him myself. As Cain pointed out in the episode, Adam is very lucky. He tried to burn Cain alive and if Aaron hadn't pleaded with Cain to have pity on him, he would be in a prison cell right now. Don't like Vanessa but objectively speaking I do believe she is genuinely trying to help Rhona however what she is doing is incredibly stupid, especially given that Moira gave her some pretty good advice re Holly. She should just tell Paddy about everything so they can address the problem head on. I'm at the point where I'm so tired of Kerry that I just want her to leave and never come back and now we have this fake pregnancy storyline, it means we have to put up with her for the time being. Felt sorry for Megan when she was crying after Sean got electrocuted and Robbie ignored her when he saw her standing by the ambulance bleeding. He's an ungrateful little idiot.

I heard they were possibly looking at doing an original series a while back but wasn't sure if it was actually true. I guess that explains a lot. Whilst I agree that it's sad Joseph Morgan has signed up to another show most of the third series was about various ways to kill Klaus and the whole thing seemed to centre around him and started to become repetitive during the second half. The beginning of the fourth season wasn't as bad but it still felt as though everyone had to fall in line with Klaus. TBH the way the episodes were week after week there were only really two possibilities - He gets killed off or they change the direction of the character. So I guess by trying to humanise him and making him go to New Orleans they've paved the way for other storylines within TVD show i.e. Silas impersonating Stefan. Also the Marcel storyline with the originals is a good idea because Klaus can't threaten or intimidate people like he has done in the past. He genuinely has to earn their trust or friendship like he did with Caroline. I wouldn't bet on him not being in the fifth season at least for a guest appearance though because they might still need him or he might still have a role to play in one of the other storylines. I didn't actually blame Mikael for tormenting Klaus like that. It's true that he always resented him because he represented his wife's infidelity but Klaus ripped Esther's heart out so Mikael's actions are understandable and before that he still turned Klaus into a vampire to provide him with immortality. I'm assuming that Elijah will feature fairly heavily too. Just wondering if he will decide to seek Katherine out. I would imagine not as it would be too difficult for the actress to be in two shows at once. And then there's Rebekah. She's left with Matt to go to Italy but I wonder if she will be in the originals or will she simply be making guest appearances in TVD.

Like season two, I thought the second half of the season was better than the first. One of my favourite episodes was where Rebekah and Elena joined forces to seek Katherine and find the cure that she stole. I loved the female interaction between all three, especially when Elena tried to impersonate Katherine. I also loved Damon's like "Elena without her humanity is a stone cold b*tch" line. I was thinking Elena without her humanity is freakin awesome. Never really liked Elena as a human but started to warm to her when she was a vampire and when Damon used the sire bond to make her lose her humanity, I loved her and was really disappointed when she got it back. Really please Elena chose Damon. Never really liked her with Stefan and much prefer the Damon/Elena scenes. One of the things I quite liked was the rivalry between Elena and Katherine. Elena almost killed Katherine in the penultimate episode because of what happened to Jeremy (Katherine didn't actually kill him, Silas did). And in part two of their duel, more interestingly Katherine almost killed Elena because Elena had everything she doesn't - Unconditional of the Salvatore brothers without having to manipulate them, everbody liking her without having to compel them and not having to look over her shoulder every 5 minutes. Elena was very lucky she had the cure or she would have been dead for sure. So that's one of the things, I'm really looking forward to seeing next season - Katherine as a human. Ironically it could actually mean that Klaus will no longer be looking to kill her as in theory she should be back to being a doppelganger so Klaus will need her blood to start creating hybrids again. Also how will she manage without her superhuman, strength, speed and immortality. Considering what she's done over the years even if Klaus isn't after her there still must be some people who are. Really, really not happy about Jeremy. I don't like his character at all and was over the moon when he died. And now we have him back to life and Bonnie (who is quite a good character) dead. I don't find anything interesting about him and I think it's ridiculous some of the storylines his character has had. Interesting angle the writers have decided to take regarding Klaus. They seem to be trying to inject some humanity into him. Firstly regarding New Orleans, as part of the witches plan to gain the trust of everyone in the town. Then there's Haylee and the pregnancy. And finally there's Caroline. Giving back Tyler his freedom in the hope one day Caroline will finally fall for him because he loves her. Caroline has definately warmed to him so it will be interesting to see what happens there. Klaus was a major character in seasons 3 and 4 so I'm wondering if this is a way to kind of reduce his role and focus on other storylines. The ending was a surprise. So Stefan is a doppelganger of Silas. It will be interesting to see what happens now that he has gotten ridden of Stefan for the time being and has taken his place. Especially without any hope of getting the cure.

Good to see the show hasn't completely lost focus of the whole revenge theme with Emily exacting retribution on the judge who handled her father's case. I think the main thing keeping me watching at the moment is finding out more about the Initiative. I find the character of Helen Crowley fascinating and interesting now that Nolan's girlfriend appears to be in league with her and is acting as an informant reporting on activities within Nolcorp.

I thought it was ridiculous how after Cain beat Pete up, he just let things drop with a simple text message saying "I'll find another supplier". Anyway, since Debbie's turned into a bad girl, I haven't found her as annoying as I did previously. I guess her openly being a cow without the guise of her sick daughter means we don't have to automatically have sympathy for her. Surprisingly, I've quite enjoyed the scenes with her and Robbie. I know she's only using him but I wouldn't mind seeing those two get together. If anything it will be worth it to see Cain and Megan's reactions. Even though it was completely unbelievable the way he just happened to guess that there was something going on with Charity and Declan in the Woolpack, sussed that they went outside to meet and figured out they slept together, I have ABSOLUTELY LOVED Cameron having Charity over a barrel. I couldn't stop smiling though all the scenes where he was threatening to expose her affair with Declan. Declan on the edge about what Cameron was going to do and the fear displayed by Charity and Declan when they were having dinner with Jai and Katie. It was really good to see Charity on the receiving end considering how vile she is. My main regret is that she fessed up to Jai, basically ruining everything. His reaction was very hypocritical though given what happened with Rachel. Not that I care he cheated on Charity first. I don't want him fessing up for the simple reason that if this leads to a divorce then Charity could potentially get her grubby hands on half of everything. I was disappointed Declan cheated (with her of all people) especially now that he and Katie are back on track and look happy even though I found his reaction when Jai confronted him and the way he kept phoning Jai in the episode afterwards very funny. What I find interesting is that Declan's done to Jai the same thing that Jai did to him, although at least Declan hasn't got Charity pregnant. Really not keen on Vanessa. Just don't find anything likeable about her at all. Even when she was going out of her way to help Edna and Edna threw it back in her face, when she had a death in the family and even when Katie (who I thought was being quite harsh) blamed her for the horse's death and wanted Paddy and Rhona to fire her, I didn't have one bit of sympathy for her. I will say that I did like the way she acted as a go-between with Paddy and Rhona helping to get their marriage back on track, so maybe there's hope. Funny, seems as though David has started to have genuine feelings for Alicia now that she appears to be moving on and has accepted she and David are over. I found Sandy quite amusing this week. Especially the way he was with Laurel and Marlon and at his 80th birthday party. House sharing with Edna should be interesting...

I assume it's safe to come here now as Casey and Sasha are probably not going to get back together anytime within the foreseeable future. You know what? As someone that wanted Casey and Sasha together, I personally feel there is a lot of truth in this one sentence although I wouldn't go as far as saying he didn't like her just didn't like her enough. I mentioned this earlier this week in the UK discussion thread that I actually loved it when Sasha told Ruby to back off like some jealous girlfriend but still she wasn't even going out with Casey. And neither was Ruby for that matter. They were just friends. It did seem to me that Sasha was hanging around Casey like some lost puppy but I just put it down to a young girl with an infatuation/crush at first. Then I realised certainly from Sasha's point of view the infatuation had turned to love. It was obvious to me when Casey made a move on Sasha in the woods which eventually led them sleeping together he was only doing it because he was convinced he was going to jail for a very long time and had nothing left to lose. As far as he was concerned it was practically handed to him on a plate. I probably would have done the same thing if I was in his position. From the outset although Sid came round after Sasha pleaded her case to him he was against the relationship and you could argue that he was quite correct given how things have turned out. I liked the way Sasha supported Casey during the trial but had serious concerns when Kyle confirmed that Casey wasn't hallucinating about Tamara (contrary to useless Natalie convincing him otherwise) and Brax set out trying to find her. The way Casey was, immediately to me it seemed like he wouldn't have been that way about Sasha. Then any time there was a scene with Casey and Tamara, I kept thinking there's a real bond there and Sasha is going to get hurt. I was hoping that Sasha and Casey would get together and Casey, Tamara and Sasha could all be friends but that was just wishful thinking on my part. I personally think when Tamara saved Casey's life there was something there. It was way beyond anything physical. I do think now that Tamara deliberately set out to steal Casey off Sasha but at least he finished with Sasha before sleeping with Tamara. I agree with Dex's assertion that Casey was using Sasha but I don't think he was consciously doing it, well apart from the sex part. After Casey finished with Sasha and Sasha was just trying to be a friend to him although it wasn't what I wanted I still liked the interaction. I really liked it when she baked him a birthday cake. When she just left and didn't want to spend any time with him, I thought she was playing a waiting game i.e. trying to be a friend in the hope he would change his mind about finishing eventually. Even when Rosie was blatantly trying to come onto Casey and Sasha seemed OK with it she admitted to Casey afterwards how much she wanted him in her life. I did feel sorry for her when Casey told her he had slept with Tamara but come on, she knew in her heart of hearts that he was into Tamara. When she saw Tamara kissing him although she spoke to Casey about it she let it go. To me it seemed part of her was in denial that there was something between Casey and Tamara but she was hoping it was a temporary set back. Even when Tamara came back Sasha tried to warn her off but it pretty much seemed in vain. When she went to see Casey to tell them their friendship was over she mentioned that she didn't like the person she was when she was with him but I'm not sure I would agree with that. If being caring and supportive are not the sort of things you like in a person then I'm not sure what is. I don't think she really did anything wrong and in terms of keeping Casey there was nothing she could have done. As I mentioned in the UK discussion thread and above she can't change what happened in the desert. She can't change Tamara saving Casey's life. It's sad because if Tamara hadn't returned I think the posts in this thread would be actually discussing their romantic relationship. I do hope Sasha changes her mind about being friends with Casey in the future as I do really enjoy their interaction but I don't think it will happen until Sasha is fully over him which won't be until she finds herself another boyfriend.

Absolutely loved Rebekah's truth or dare game with a little bit of compulsion thrown in. I have to admit I took a perverse kind of pleasure seeing Stefan's hurt when Elena said she was in love with Damon despite being sired to him and she made him feel completely different to how Stefan did. Similarly I took great pleasure in seeing Stefan lock Damon up, telling him he wouldn't let him out until they found the cure and not allowing him to see Elena as she was sired to Damon so could potentially free him. This is actually a reversal of last season where Stefan was locked up by Damon because he was under Klaus's compulsion. Except this time it's Damon under Cole. Seems as though we have three teams, Team Klaus (Klaus, Jeremy and Damon) and Team Rebekah (Rebekah and Stefan) who are both trying to find a cure for vampirism and the professor and his team who are looking to free Silas. I'm assuming this will be the fourth opportunity to kill Klaus (the most powerful vampire who they originally believed couldn't be killed) since he first appeared in the second season. The first was when he broke the hybrid curse and Elijah had a chance to rip his heart out but saved him so he could see his family. The second was when Damon was about to kill him with the white oak stake and Stefan stopped him allowing Klaus to use it on Mikael. The third was when he was in Tyler's body but Bonnie passed the opportunity to finish him off once and for all because she wanted to save her friend. It occurred to me when Rebekah and Stefan rekindled their romance lust that there have been three women that the Salvatore brothers have both slept with - Katherine, Elena and Rebekah. All we need is for Stefan to sleep with Caroline and that will be four. Regarding Katherine, doesn't look like she's going to be in it this season which is a shame. Come to think of it Dr Fell also seems to have disappeared...

I was very excited for season two after the plane crash and was especially pleased after it was revealed that Victoria had survived. Since Emily's former training partner/lover saved her from the white haired man (see how much gratitude she showed him by knocking him out and dumping him in a garbage truck) to me it feels as though the writers are not sure which direction to take the show. Can't really say I'm all that interested although I will keep watching to see what happens. I dunno, it doesn't feel like it's about revenge anymore.
