I liked the bit on neighbours when Scottie was talking to Zeke and Rachel, Zeke said something and Scott was like "yeah and i'm marrying Lleyton Hewitt!", another referrence to something Lleyton has done in the past was when Dylan and Scott kept making the Vicht sign!

I remember Serena talking about Charmed, she was saying how good looking Chris was - it was like her first week.

Lol I think they also make these references to make the characters more realistic, as it is very probable that teenagers their age would be watching shows like the OC and Alias etc.
