The AWGIE nominations for the best scripts have been published and Home and Away has three out of the four nominations in the televison serial category.

2005 AWGIE NOMINATIONS

Television Serial

*Home and Away Ep 3808 by Fiona Kelly ( Aired in Australia on 1/9/04 and in which Leah considers the possibility that Vinnie might still be alive.)

*Home and Away Ep 3806 by Louise Crane-Bowes ( Aired in Australia on 30/8/2004. The first post Olympic episode in which Summer Bay says goodbye to Noah.)

*Home and Away Ep 3903 by Susan Hore ( Aired in Australia on 23/2/2005 . This was Kirsty and Kane’s final episode.)

*Neighbours Ep 4574 –“Soul Patching†by Drew Proffitt –Aired in Australia ( no idea as I rarely watch Neighbours. :P )

The AWGIE awards will take place on Friday 25th November 2005 at the Grand Plaza Ballroom, 191 Collins St, Melbourne.

My favourite was the KK departure. :D

You pronounce it OR GEE (mor pronounced g than if you were saying orgy. :P )

AWG is the Australian Writers Guild, hence AWGIE :D sort of like LOGIE. :D

The shortlist for nominations were in before this episode aired so I think 4001 might be in next years nominations. I was expecting one of the Ian Osbourne epsiodes to be there as well. I wonder how they work out which ones to nominate.

And what a catchy name it is! It's as amusing as the NZ badminton team calling themselves the black cox! :lol:

I liked Noah's funeral, and alo the KK leaving episode the best of these. I can't remember much abut the other one, though I am sure it was very good too.
