Is anyone purposely watching the titles every day? I’ve wanted them back for so long and complained about their axing so I feel I can’t skip them.

I watch live, so skipping them isn't an option. But I don't tend to skip anyway, they're part of the programme.

That solved one mystery, well  kind of, why Lacey left the safe house, but would the cops who were supposed to be guarding her just let her out on her own?  How long had the RB's been there?  I'm guessing they were told by Gage to keep an eye on her, she was 'his' lady after all.

Theo does have  a tendency to fall in love pretty quickly Chloe, Kirby, Valerie and now Lacey.  Is it because Theo is so different from Gage the reason why she's with him, it could have been any lad.  She's still not revealed what her life was like before she got caught up with him.   I know some know who she is and her past history but I'm saying nuffin. 🤐🤫🙊

Irene getting frustrated by Leah  checking her phone every nano second,  moaning  on and on about not even getting  a thank you from Theo for the food.    Dana and Lacey meeting which  wasn't under the most ideal circumstances.

TPTB have moved very quickly getting the trial  moved to starting the next day.  At least Sonny and Theo won't have days/weeks to tie themselves in knots waiting for it.   Sonny scrubs up  very well, pretty decent of Justin to lend him a suit, shame it looks like it's going to get messed up.  How is Justin going to keep Leah away from court because you can bet your bottom 💵 she'd want to be there.

I can totally see why Theo is having second thoughts about having the car back seeing as it was used to nearly kill him.

I guess it's not really Sonny's thing to being cooped up and he did take 'Bill' or was it 'Ben' with him.  He stay a decent distance away but we saw  those shadowy figures and the RB's spying on them.    Hardly subtle was he,  the one who chatted up Dana, but luckily for her Tane was there for her. The RB's didn't expect that.

I was thinking the same thing about Harper slagging off Dana's  previous boyfriends, a very sweeping statement, OK the guy who tricked her and planted drugs on her was a bad un, but Xander wasn't and Sonny isn't, he just unwittingly got caught up with bad guys by helping  a mate.   Harper should know better, anyone, usually a relative,  who tells someone to STOP seeing someone  it never works.  Now she's discovered Dana has gone, though as yet where she's gone.

Maybe they didn't want to make up another bed so why they  decided to share?  Harper didn't notice Dana slipping out though did she, let's put it down to her being a bit sleep deprived.     One blessing, if you can call it that, is the co-parenting between Harper and Tane is going very well, they've got a great routine going even having  a joke about Archie waking Harper in the night. Tane is on Harper's side as regards Dana, though giving some suggestions of his own as to how to handle the situation.

Going off on a tandem again - sorry - and it may seem an odd observation -  but we have a good mix of blondes and brunettes in the bay, apart from Irene who is a redhead.  But all the guys apart from John and Alf have brown or black hair - not a blond amongst them.  There used to be quite a few of them, have they been banned?

Well, I guess it would be too much to hope that it was as simple as Theo and Sonny going to court and giving evidence.I know it's easy sitting here, but it did feel like the episode relied on the good guys doing exactly what the bad guys needed. Why didn't the security guys radio in that the road was blocked? Why didn't their passengers make any attempt to warn them of the ambush, even though they saw the River Boys several seconds earlier? Why do they act as though they're helpless just because the road's blocked both ways, when they could have probably gone off road or at least driven into their attackers? Not that the River Boys do much better, as instead of getting rid of the witnesses, they leave Sonny and Theo unguarded and just leave Dana and Lacey behind so Lacey can go and give evidence after all. Does the River Boys' new field commander (named Diesel in the credits...what with him and Spanner, you wonder if the others are called Wheel Brace, Bumper and Unleaded) have a soft spot for her? It's not clear how Cash knew where Dana and Lacey were either. (Did they flag down someone, who lent them a phone to make a call and then drove on?) The episode does its best to explain the sudden disappearance of the security detail, but it feels a bit weird anyway.

Of course, the worst thing is that we're probably now going to be treated to Leah and Harper getting on their high horses.I'm glad Eden at least made an attempt to defend Sonny to Harper. Someone should have a word with her about some of the people Tane's hung out with over the years.

I loved John producing a big dossier on his being a celebrant, and loved even more that he then managed to win Eden over by just sitting down and showing an interest in her.

I notice Lacey was credited as a regular for the first time, so looks like she's sticking around.

They were next to an SOS phone, though not sure how common those are on country backroads... 🤔

Probably installed it due to the all the Summer Bay residents that end up in accidents/explosions/breakdowns on that same road (no wonder I was required to wear hi-viz when I walked it last year!)

I was thinking "Run their arses down and Get to Court!", Too.

As for funny  names; Wouldn't be surprised if there's a River Boy called "Tool" as well🤣

Well it wouldn't have been so dramatic then would it?  I got the feeling the plan was to just  stop Sonny and Theo getting to court so they couldn't give evidence meaning I guess either Gage would be put back in remand or let go.  The RB's didn't expect Lacey to be there and very cunning of her to leave her phone in the car so it could be tracked.  Now she's going to give evidence after all, if Cash can get it sorted in time, that'll throw Cage's plan into disarray. Anyways, Sonny has come good by being there for Theo, getting his meds for him, saying they should limit what they drink as they don't know how long they'd be there.  But then we saw Theo telling Sonny to go off to get a better signal to get help.

Oh hope 'Bill' and 'Ben' are OK, they were rather outnumbered.

Cash did say Lacey and Dana were found on the road to Reefton Lakes.   Lacey had more to her than Dana by suggesting they get moving so hopefully stop someone on the road.

It did appear Leah had wanted to go to court but Justin put his foot down on that one, but of course she is now panicking about him going missing.  Tane may have hung  out with some  dodgy characters  in the past - the guys who had hid stolen drugs in the van Tane was hiding at the garage for one  which got complicated, but ironically it was two old RB's who helped him out of that one. But he's grown up now, got himself settled.

Cash didn't get the calm return to the   job after the Engagement break he was expecting, flung straight into hunting for Sonny, Theo, Dana and  Lacey.

Cash, due to him being called out on more serious  matters, did rather leave Eden in the lurch with John playing his celebrant role but it went well, him asking after Gary.  Shame we only saw him in that one episode and in a flashback.  Are they going to have a long engagement do we think, we haven't had a Wedding since Leah and Justin's.   John very discreetly left the scene when the news broke about Sonny and Theo going missing.

Well, the resolution was a bit better, with only the bad guys demonstrating a copious lack of intelligence. (Why leave Sonny and Theo on their own if they're just going to go back and kill them? Why wait to kill them if that's the end plan? It's not even like they were using them as leverage, were they really just going to give them a lift back to town if Gage was found not guilty?) But anyway, a combination of Sonny, Cash, Tane and a bit of Lacey gets them out of there. Diesel, Wheel Brace, Unleaded and Tool really would have been better off just dropping it and walking away, because they've just landed themselves in the same wing as Gage. So I guess that the River Boys' annual depletion of their ranks over with, and we'll see them after the next recruitment drive? Having been worried about the bodyguards last episode, I must admit I'd forgotten about them here but good to hear they're okay.

As Theo said, how does Leah still not get it? She doesn't have to like Lacey, but constantly attacking her and treating her like the devil and insisting she be locked up isn't going to win her any friends, much less get Theo back onside. (Ironically, she's got a point about Lacey leading the River Boys to Theo and Sonny, but not in a way that would get her arrested.) I was glad Tane put Harper in her place, but unfortunately Dana let Harper get in her head, in a way that was spectacularly hypocritical given Harper doesn't tend to date boy scouts herself. (And I notice she's back making goo-goo eyes at Tane.)

Eden did eventually explain why she doesn't want Jimmy around, but part of me does wonder why she's so determined to hang on to this one. She's forgiven Levi, twice, she's made peace with Abigail, Debra thinks it all turned out for the best, so she really needs to cross that last frontier. My first thought was "Did you post it on social media?", and I even wondered if Debra had shared the news, but Cash was always a possibility as well.

Spoiler

I’m only watching to see Irene leave really now

I have lost alot of interest really they have totally ruined the River Boys they aren’t meant to be full out villains
They were quite dumb to follow Cash around or was it Cash being dumb I’m not sure it was obvious he was going around getting Lacey food and interviewing Sonny and Theo so why didn’t the River boys realise this and plan a ambush plan or something as I say the show’s always been silly but it’s gone quite crap these days

The RB's thought Cash was hiding Lacey somewhere else, not the cop shop, so he was cocking a snook at them by leading them back and forth to the very place he was hiding her.

Just my thought but perhaps the RB's were expecting Gage to get off, as they thought  Lacey wouldn't be  giving evidence, so they would let Sonny and Theo go with one more threat not to cross them again. Then the news got back to them Lacey did give evidence which resulted in Gage going down so that  was his Plan B. It did get sorted pretty sharpish when Cash and Tane turned up.

Petty flukey Sonny finding Lacey's phone, if he hadn't gone to dig out that blanket to stem Theo's bleed he wouldn't have found it.  Even the most latest smart phones have their limits, battery was low and he had to find a location where he could get a signal.  Glad he went back to Theo but quietly ditched the phone so Cash and Tane could still, hopefully, track them which of course they did.  They did cave in pretty quick, Tane really showed his tough side, that wasn't what they were expecting.  Sonny is more of a lover than a fighter isn't he.   Does YC cop shop have enough cells to park them in?   It was good to hear 'Bill' and 'Ben' were OK.

Wonder how long it will be until the next lot reassemble.  The last lot with Rory was only last year.

Slight bit of humour when Cash when he was hoping to recruit Tane into becoming a cop and Tane saying "blue isn't my colour".

Wtf was Leah hoping for when she verbally attacked Lacey, yes I know she's NOT her favourite person, but even when Cash  told her it was her evidence that has put Gage away it didn't placate her, Lacey was still the one who put Theo in danger.  She didn't take kindly to be ordered out of the station but it was funny.   Then of course she turns up again when Theo and Sonny were brought it and immediately dashes over to hug Theo who just rejected her in favour of Lacey.

I do have to say Ada is playing a blinder making us hate Leah so much.

I'm guessing now the danger is over, Sonny will go back to Remi's but what about Theo, will he stay at Bree's with Lacey until they find somewhere else and how will they pay for it?

Harper, as far as I am aware hasn't had a serious relationship since she's been in the bay has she?  To be fair Tane has been doing a good job with Archie so no surprise Harper is seeing him as a hero.

Maybe it was something Tane said to Dana that made her have  a change of heart over Sonny.  I hope they do get back together as I think they would be  a  good couple.

I had the same thought it may have been Deb who let Jimmy know about Eden's engagement, for all we know she forgave him years ago and is in contact with him.  Poor Levi, this time he was innocent.  Was surprised it was Cash, he knows how Eden feels abut her dad and to go behind her back was taking a  mighty risk.  Cash is as was said is quite a traditionalist but could this be the shortest engagement in the history of SB?

🤦‍♀️ Did not a single person think to take Theo to the hospital to be checked out?  He's been bleeding and been beaten up again, but no, everything's FINE!

I think we can take it as read Theo was taken back to the hospital.
