Theo's getting himself into trouble, although to be fair to him, he did take Justin's advice on board and try to do the right thing by Lacey. Unfortunately, he seems to have forgotten that he's not indestructible and people have very good reason to be scared of Gage.Sonny continues to keep Remi and Bree in the loop, but not Justin, who remains unaware of the problem with Theo going off on his own. Incidentally, did that count as Lacey's first Obligatory Bikini Scene?

Cash and Eden really need to get better at communicating.I guess Cash was trying to not make a big deal of it, but dismissing the engagement ring as "just a ring" was the worst thing he could have said in the circumstances.I liked how Remi noticed she was still wearing it, and then when Kirby saw it and she and Justin thought she was engaged, only for Justin to get the heck out of there on realising this is not a happy time.I would quite like to have seen Kirby carry Eden over there, it would have saved her the half hour walk! Cash not wanting to be engaged until he's proposed properly feels a bit old-fashioned to say the least, but Eden seems to be happy with it which is the main thing.

I'm not really sure Mali owed Kirby an apology, but they were good friends and so it was right that they shouldn't stay on a sour note.It was pretty incredible that Abigail was both the grown-up in the room and going into bat for Kirby, two things that were inconceivable when she first turned up.I can see this article coming back to bite them though:It's hard not to imagine either one or both of them coming out of it looking bad.

Nice way of keeping Tane and Harper's situation in viewers' minds now they've used up their three episodes, with Cash getting that picture and Irene and Leah making up their own episode quotas chatting about it!

Certainly looks like things aren't going to end well for Theo,  Gage isn't the 'mindless' thug people think he is, he's had a few days/week to work out how he's going to get his revenge. Those chats he was having with his cronies didn't bode well. Gage was very sharp  picking up that  Lacey and Theo had run into each other twice in the same day. Like most young folk Theo does think he's indestructible and thinks he can 'save' Lacey from Gage, she's obviously scared of him, l guess we'll find out how she got hooked up with him at some time. Good move on Sonny's part to get Lacey to put his number on her phone.   He should fill  Justin in what is happening or what he thinks is happening but as we know Justin can go blundering in and really muck things up. It's nice seeing the good side of Sonny and Remi has asked him to move back in.

Totally agree Eden and Cash did need to talk to each other instead of her faffing about, she's not usually so wimpy, she speaks her mind, but I suppose it is a sensitive subject.  Good intervention of Bree and Remi to get Cash to come and suggest they talk which they did back at the house, so are they engaged or not?  Cash seems the old fashioned type of guy so maybe they are engaged to be engaged.

Kirby did have  a lot going on, fretting about that Promo magazine guy them publishing what would have been bad publicity for her, but Justin. once again, calmed her down.  Then getting all excited about Eden's 'engagement'. She did admit to Justin she had got carried away with her role at the board shop.  Just as well then Abbey played referee between her and Mali, she talked Mali down and although she agreed with the way Kirby behaved was wrong, she was there after all, she manged to get him to see reason and  got him to remember what good friends they have been until now.  They both apologised to each other and got back on an even keel but she's still fired. 😄

Alf's episode count this week:Three.

Intense in some ways, downright silly in others.Justin is still in the middle of the wrong plot, having not noticed that Sonny's a regular and treating him like the latest troublemaker to be run out of town.Even at the end, Remi and Bree don't fill him in properly. At least Remi and Sonny had the sense to go to Cash, but the number of unlikely events needed to ramp up the tension made my eyes roll:Cash giving out his number and then leaving his phone in another room on silent; Sonny leaving a message but not telling anyone where he's actually gone; the artificial attempt to ramp up tension near the end by having Sonny suddenly collapse a few yards away from his phone; do the River Boys have a whole load of identical-looking hideaways and if not why does no-one know where they are? Theo and Sonny both take a lot of physical punishment here, while Lacey seems to be skirting towards the side of the angels. It may have been a good thing that Sonny wasn't able to lift the car and abruptly relieve the pressure on Theo. Then again, he hadn't been under there long, and ironically Gage's sadism may have done him a favour, since lowering the car onto him slowly rather than just dropping it might have done slightly less damage.

Marilyn continued to annoy me greatly with her gushing over Archie (and Irene wasn't far behind but at least she's got less problematic recent history), although the message that all children need love and support, not just the cute ones that don't give you any trouble, seemed to seep through eventually.

Level with me; You have a Marilyn Dartboard don't you?😁

Things did seem to escalate pretty quickly when Theo arrived wherever he was and those cryptic comments  from Gage alerted us but of course Theo doesn't know he knows about Theo and Lacey.  It was also sadistic Gage using Theo's car to torture him.  I was in the same mind set about maybe it was good that Sonny couldn't move that ramp off Theo as it could cause more damage. The emergency services when they arrive - which they must have done as we saw Theo in hospital  - would  take a risk assessment.   I think the clue is in the name - hideaway - which is why the cops don't know which one.  Sonny is new to the area so wouldn't really know where he was, he did send the message Lacey sent him to Cash and co didn't he? Typical isn't it, someone gets an urgent message and they aren't there when it arrives, this time because Cash was doing his Senior Constable duties telling his crew to go out looking for the usual RB haunts.  Was it pure chance Gage found that tracker and sent it back to the cops or is there a mole at Yabbie Creek?

I think initially Lacey was just flirting with Theo but she got to really like him which was why she warned him off.  Btw could Sonny really have heard what Gage was saying to Lacey or was he just going by body language?  I think Remi and Bree are stuck in the middle, Remi did lead Justin to believe Sonny was trouble and had been reckless before but he's done a reversal and is trying to do the right thing. Now he's going to be  blaming Remi  if anything happens to Theo.  We know Sonny didn't have a clue who the RB's were until Theo filled him and he was Ok at first but then saw how deep Theo was getting in and wanted out, he did try and talk Theo out of it but he is an adult.

Justin must have totally forgotten he and the rest of the |of the Morgan's were threatened with pitchforks and flaming torches when it came out they were in WP and had a gang after them.

Maz was just being her usual Maz self.  She did have that reflective thought that Eliza was an innocent baby once and maybe it is how you are brought up that changes you.  Doesn't always necessarily follow though that if they are maltreated, ignored, abused they turn out bad, they could have a very loving family but still turn out bad. Smiled when John's made his point on Irene not being able to wait until Archie comes home and just  dropping in about if she'll still feel the same  when she's being woken up at silly o'clock every day.

I didn't really like the scenes with Eliza and Harper in the bush.  I felt uncomfortable watching Harper in pain knowing that Eliza purposely didn't call the ambulance.  I do agree that Eliza was doing this more out of curiosity than anything.  I actually thought that was going to be it for her, but I am surprised there's been no follow up as yet.  I was also surprised Harper coldly dismissed Tane after Archie was born and she was OK after her surgery.  Not that I felt particularly sorry for him, but I do think she made the right decision changing her mind and allowing him to be part of Archie's life.  I still continue to like the way Mackenzie fights Tane's corner.  I actually felt even Dana didn't agree with what Harper was doing but your can't fault her for her loyalty to her sister.  The storyline for me is frustrating because as I said all along Marilyn is the one who called it from the beginning re Eliza, but interestingly her attitude softened slightly towards the end of last week's episodes.

I continue to be frustrated at Justin's attitude towards Sonny but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt as he doesn't have the full picture of what's happening.  I was however unhappy that he was kept in the dark by Remi, Bree and Sonny re what was happening with Theo.  I did wonder previously how far Gage was prepared to go and I would say that was pretty far.  I definitely don't think Theo didn't deserved that, but I do also think he should have known better.  The reason why I think Gage is quite dangerous is because how often controlled he is for the most part.  It seems a theme with a lot of the River Boys in that they are fairly sociopathic.

Theo thinking with what's between his legs again.  🤪

May not have it left if Gage and Co. have a second crack at "teaching him a lesson"!

He just seemed to leave him a voicemail.

That was a very abrupt jump from Sonny trying to get help for Theo last episode to him already being in hospital at the start of this one: It was like we missed an episode, with no explanation for how he got out from under the car. It's touch and go for him anyway, with Levi being left to work his magic.I continue to like that Justin is keeping Leah in the loop, albeit coloured through his insistence on believing black is white and that Sonny has been egging Theo on rather than trying to get him to back off. That said, I don't think Justin was as out of line as Dana made out: All he did was stop Sonny walking away, it wasn't done in a violent or aggressive manner, and maybe the sight of Sonny rolling around on the floor in agony will be enough to convince Justin he's not the villain of the piece here.

Meanwhile, Cash is trying to get his hands on the actual villain of the piece and hitting a wall of silence. For all Gage's attempt to control things, Lacey could be the weak link here for all her bravado. I seem to recall Spanner gave Eden some trouble last year, but maybe she didn't catch his name. (Cash hasn't spoken to her, anyway.)
