I know she was a background character for ages but Celia was the type of character that didn't need storylines all the time and worked as a community figure Ken Smith - So Irene and Ken could get married and we'd have Irene with a husband. Ailsa Stewart - I know Judy Nunn is going to be only true Ailsa but I would preferred if they permanently recast Nancy Hayes as Ailsa once Judy Nunn quit. Dan Baker - At least they could have kept Leah's husband around longer and have a teacher at school for the long term as Sally left not long after.

The actress who played Poppy Skouros in Neighbours would have been a great recast. She actually was in H&A herself in a guest role once. Even Dannii Minogue may have worked if she came in as recast Alison rather than Emma Jackson, but I guess it would not have given Ailsa some beefy family members.

Yes Lenita Vangellis did rock up in H&A Hazem's mum after he was kicked half the death by racists in the Australia Day riots that destroyed the diner, which to led to Leah's Agoraohobia. Dannii Minogue was meant to be Marilyn but they cooked up Emma for her.
