When to re-watch??? Advice pls....

I’ve watched since day 1 and always been a huge fan. My daughter is now getting into the show and its great how we can enjoy it together.  Id really love to go back 10/15yrs and start it again with her but need to find a good starting point to get her hooked thats kind of at the beginning of a new storylines if you know what I mean? She’s only 9 but has currently loved the drama of Robbo and Ava kidnap story. Advice much appreciated

10-15 years ago... Thinking about it, we're about 10 years on from Sally leaving and Miles taking over the caravan park, which is a significant changeover point, and frankly you could do worse than just diving in with the 2008 premiere which is the beginning of them being reunited: It means you jump in with the tail-end of the hospital attacker storyline, but I think wherever you start there's going to be some dangling plot threads lying around. (Assuming you have access to all the episodes, of course!)

Based on the mention of your daughter's preferences, the 2005 opener would potentially be another good point to jump into things. 2004 was mostly wrapped up with the season finale, and 2005 essentially wiped a lot of the story slate clean - jumping forward six weeks into a somewhat new 'more dramatic' era, with a new Script Producer, and kicking off the Summer Bay stalker storyline which was designed to hook in viewers (even though that storyline did stem from events that happened in 2004).

As RR1 said though, it is presuming you already have access to the episodes in order to take your pick!

It's funny that you ask this because I have often thought of this myself. 2011 maybe? Because when the Braxtons came into it a lot changed.

Was it 08? Felt like a lot of changes. Miles just came into it, Sally was leaving. Irene had just gone into business with Roman, Leah dealt with Dan's death/opening the den. Aiden had been pushed into focus, Morag was in the Bay with the start of Charlie, Ruby and Ross. The whole Colleen being a Stewart.  Felt like a very fresh start year easy for new viewer to get into but in saying that don't remember much of the year before it how it ended.

I agree with some of the other posters. 2008 is a great place to start. Sally's exit, Mile's debut and reveal as "Miko", Dan's death, Tom's "return" all in the first few weeks! Not to mention the reuniting of Martha and Jack, Nicole's debut, Angelo's debut, Ruby & Charlie's debut, Cassie's HIV / pregnancy, Morag's move to basically a regular.. all good storylines Can't believe it's been 10 years since Sally left the bay   On a personal note, 2008 was the year I started recording the show myself - I decided to do it after finally getting a DVD recorder!!  So happy to have seasons 1 - 9.5 [Uptil 7Two stopped playing them] and 21 - 31 [although at the moment I am waaaaayyy behind in both Home & Away and Neighbours. [I've got from the end of March to catch up on lol]
