Actually I think was Matt's choice to leave but he just didn’t know how he was leaving.

I think they'll recast VJ at some point.I really can't imagine Leah without him.I know she has friends but there's currently not much keeping her in the bay.

Justin and Tori both have potential to be long term characters.James and Penny both have young children so I don't see them being in a big hurry to leave.Scout started school this year.

He was older than VJ. He was 6 when he arrived in 2005. So in real time he'd be 19, same age as VJ since they aged VJ up.
