If you could switch Alf for another original who would it be?

So if you could trade Alf for a different original characterer in the show today who would it be and why?

 

Rules are Alf would have left the show when the character swapping him for did and in the same way 

 

i.e  if switching for Ailsa then Alf would have died in the 2000 finale (not the same way)

 

Or if swapping him for Fisher than Alf would have moved away in 05

Lol he would just have moved away not moved with Ian. But that means basically him and Alisa would broken up at that poont in the show and he would leave town

I would agree with this only if she was still played by Vanessa Downing or if Debra Lawrence had played Pippa from the beginning.
