If You could create a new character for Summer bay

Christopher "Fletch" Fletcher, an award winning Photographer has come back to the place he was born wanting an escape from the hustle and bustle of New York, he knows Roo as he lived with Duncan before he got married, it isn't too long before his working as a Photography teacher at the school, where a closeted teen has a crush on him, seeing a bit of himself in this teen and not realising the teen has feelings for him he helps the teen comes to terms with his sexuality. It isn't long before he's accused of an inappropriate relationship and the teen's parents try to get Fletch fired or charged or both, the truth eventually comes out and Fletch is accepted in the bay.

I would get one of my fave Aussie actors, Bruce Kilpatrick (Gavin McKinley/Bob Landers in Neighbours) to join Home And Away as an old Vietnam vet friend of Alf Stewart. Name him Jimmy Bateman.

^ Maybe make him a nice guy. Bruce has a habit of playing well, bastards! As seen in Neighbours.   

He could be from the same regiment as Alf and Jeff (his mate who gassed himself in '97)

Also, Bruce Kilpatrick's latter character, Bob Landers v2 served in 'Nam (Reason he was so screwed up, hit the bottle and ended up arguing with Annette, resulting in Todd and Katie living with Bev, Jim and the Robinsons).

That's a good call the casting!

Many, many actors have been in both Neighbours and H&A, a majority of them in guest roles in both show. But Bruce Kilpatrick AFAIK has never been in Home And Away and I would love to see him in it, so yes, an old army friend of Alf Stewart. Bruce is one Aussie actor I would love to see in H&A.

I would get Alex O'Loughlin to play Martin Ashford whom they all though was dead but it appears that he's alive and he has dangerous people after him. I know he would be much older than the character he would play but Alex could easily go for a 25-27 year old guy

Other than adding a new character I just thought of an interesting twist to the show. What if it turned out that Alf is Justin's biological father? That would make some fuzz and they already have established a ok relationship

Well, Alf did put it about in his day (Same thing he would tell Curtis off about). So many conquests including Viv Standish, Julia Bowman, His mate Barry's wife, Yvonne, Tulip O'Hare (though to be he was widowed at the time), it wouldn't be entirely surprising if Alf had another kid out there.

Lets hope Dan Bennett reads this forum and gets some ideas for actors and storylines, nudge, nudge, Bruce Kilpatrick. Although Lucy would have to give the final decision.

I would like to see a chubby/fat character on the show. I honestly can't remember seeing any characters at least in this century of the show that is chubby or fat. Seems like it's always focused on getting skinny and attractive cast in the show. I would also like to see a black female character as Elijah (Not sure if I spelled it right) just to show that the show isn't only all about skinny attractive white people
