There has never been any songs by widely popular artists like One Direction, Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson, Katy Perry etc played in the show.

Ailsa's ghost probably haunts the Bayside Diner.

Well that's not surprising considering Australia's demographics.

According to the latest census figures of 2011 61.1% of Australians identify themselves as Christians followed by 31.7% who are irreligious or don't have a religion and only 7.2% of Australians identify themselves with a religion other than Christianity.

As mentioned in another thread, Ailsa has gone crazy four times:

1989 - when she had post-natal depression and tried to smother Duncan

1995 - when she saw Bobby's ghost in the fridge

1998 - when she had Post traumatic stress after the Diner siege and nearly shot Alf

1999 - when she had the car accident and thought that Alf hated her

Fair enough, but I still think it counts as religious diversity - the church she'd go to would be different to the Catholics & Anglicans in the bay.

Jack Wilson was Muslim wasn't he? He spoke about the Quran.
