The inspector nodded calling nearby to Watson to cover Charlie’s shift. Watson rolled her eyes but at the same time she knew what a hard time Charlie had been going through. ”I was gonna” Ruby broke off from the hug. ”But I thought I should just leave them until Heath gets better...if Heath gets better” unaware that somebody was watching her through the window... Seeing Bianca in that state caused Charlie to remember the night she told her own parents she was pregnant. Beforehand she lay on the bed breathing like Bianca had; cradling her stomach like Bianca was doing now.

Liked Charlie comparing how Bianca was reacting to telling everyone to how she was when she told her parents when she was 14. Glad that Bianca told them the truth, More soon please

Bianca kept her face hidden until Irene used her hand to life her chin to meet her eyes. Bianca’s eyes were red from the tears and each time she rubbed her eyes only made it worse. Irene took Bianca’s hands in her own and smiled, showing support to a vulnerable Bianca. ”Your pregnant?” April spoke at last her eyes darting at her elder sister which made Bianca squirm. ”From the...” ”Attack? Yeah” Bianca sighed rubbing her eyes again but there was really no point. April put her hands over her mouth as Charlie patted the young girl on the shoulder. ”How do you feel about it?” Irene asked, not letting go of Bianca’s hands. Charlie shifted along as Irene took a place next to Bianca. ”I honestly...I don’t know” Bianca admitted. For the first time she felt able to speak to Irene and April since the attack. Bianca tried to laugh but failed – her voice breaking off as her emotions got the better off her. April wrapped her arms around her sisters waist, cautious of how hard she was squeezing her stomach and rested her head on Bianca’s shoulder. ”Look love I know it may be a mess right now but what are your long term plans with the baby?” Irene glanced from Bianca to Charlie. Charlie shifted uncomfortably, gazing at Bianca whilst the three woman waited for an answer. ”I can’t be it’s mum it wouldn’t be fair on anyone...” Bianca took a deep breath before continuing. ”it’d be best if I put the baby up for adoption” April gasped looking at Bianca she struggled to see how this all made sense in Bianca’s head. ”But Bianca!” April blurted out. Irene and Charlie looked in April’s direction before she continued. ”It’s not fair!” ”April please” Charlie tried to reason with her but April refused to listen. ”No that’s not just any baby she’s putting up for adoption that’s her son or daughter and it’s also my niece or nephew!” ”Love it’s Bianca’s decision and I’m sure whatever decision she makes she’s gonna have a lot of support from everyone” Irene butted in glaring a little at April. Bianca’s head rested against Irene’s shoulders and she sighed relieved for the motherly figure in her life. ”But Irenee” April protested a little sticking out her bottom lip like Bianca did whenever she didn’t get her own way. She sighed a little. ”Bianca you know I’ll support you no matter what but I think your making a mistake” She smiled warmly at her elder sister, for once feeling like the roles were reversed, like she was the elder sister trying to be supportive of the younger sister and be there for her to offer advice. Bianca was scared, terrified and this emotion was present in her eyes. ”How far are you along?” April asked. Bianca tried to reply but couldn’t as tears rolled down her cheeks and she felt physically unable to talk. Seeing her struggle April turned to Charlie. ”Six weeks we went to the doctors earlier” Charlie spoke on Bianca’s behalf. April nodded, smiling sheepishly at Charlie before devoting all her attention on Bianca once more. Irene nodded as Bianca rested on April’s shoulder and stepped off the couch and into the kitchen. Charlie followed her leaving April to comfort Bianca alone. ”Bianca wanted me here to tell you” ”You’re a fantastic friend Charlie you know that?” Charlie blushed a little, her heart bursting with pride. ”I know what she’s going through” Charlie admitted struggling to fight the tears herself. ”Looking at Bianca now I see myself, scared and alone carrying a baby” she sobbed a little as Irene pulled her in for a hug. ”I’m sorry” Charlie dried her eyes as she broke off from the hug. ”Charlie I am so proud of you for being there for Bianca. I’m not sure if Bianca would have coped without you. Just being there for her it helps her in every way possible. She won’t speak to April or me but with you, knowing you know how she’s feeling you make her feel better. You’re a strong, independent girl who is a great mum to a lovely girl and a great friend to someone who really needs you” Hearing Irene’s words only made Charlie cry harder although she was grateful for Irene’s compliments. Irene smiled at Charlie who smiled back. ”Now that we all know we’re all going to be in this together to support Bianca” Irene spoke. ”She needs us all now more than ever” Charlie nodded as she made her way back into the living room. April smiled over at Charlie thankfully as Bianca lay on April’s lap. Every so often April stroked her blonde curls, a few tears rolling down her cheeks as she did so. Bianca lifted herself off Aprils lap to glance at Charlie. ”Thankyou for everything” Charlie nodded accepting the thanks and smiled at her best friend. ”I love you and I’m proud off you miss Scott. Me, April, Irene, Ruby we are all here for you” Bianca nodded, smiling warmly and heartily like she meant it. Looking at her, Charlie realised how far Bianca had come already but prepared herself for the battle ahead. ”I have to go I promised Rubes we’d watch a film” Charlie smiled her eyes darting towards the door. ”I’ll walk you out” Bianca rose from the couch and stretched a little pulling down the baggy jumper she wore when she was feeling worse for wear. Bianca opened the door as Charlie walked out. ”See you tomorrow?” Charlie asked uncertainly. ”I’m sure I could squeeze you in after work Buckton” Bianca grinned for the first time in a few months. ”Serious you’re going back to work...are you ready?” ”As ready as I’ll ever be. And after all maternity clothes cost money!” ”I guess that’s true. See you tomorrow sweetie!” Charlie made her way down the path as Bianca watched her go until Charlie became a small little dot in the darkness. Bianca closed the door, her hands cradling her stomach. She was determined not to get attached to the baby but each time she placed her hands on her stomach she felt a connection. Sighing, Bianca let go of her stomach and went to join her baby sister on the couch. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile Charlie was puzzled to enter home to the sounds of voices in the living room. One she knew was definitely Ruby’s but the other. Charlie was definitely sure she had heard that voice before. She didn’t have much time to think as Ruby rushed into the kitchen. ”Charlie you will not believe who’s back in town” Ruby burbled excitedly. ”No who?” Charlie tried to peer into the living room unsuccessfully but Ruby moved her head every time Charlie tried to peer. ”Well you know you haven’t dated anyone in ages except from that Ryan guy from the internet” Ruby babbled as Charlie bit her lip. She thought back to the night on the beach with Brax right before everything became serious. Her mind also cast back to sneaking in from her date with “Ryan”. ”Well one of your former flames have turned up and I have to say you were pretty crazy about him when he was first here” Charlie brushed Ruby aside as she made her way until the living room. She saw an all too familiar face sitting on the couch. He smiled as Charlie gaped at him not knowing what to do next. ”Well you never were one for surprises” He grinned smugly at Charlie. ”Roman” Charlie uttered out his name at long last. ”What brings you back?” She recovered and smiled a little as Ruby watched from the kitchen smiling. Her mum had been so supportive of her and Casey recently and now it was her turn to find Charlie a man. Little did she know that her mum was in love with Casey’s brother and that Roman’s return wasn’t really that innocent after all...
