alexx Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Yes! I just re-watched. That scene has been cut, Saul opens the door, you see Liam and Casey in there and they try and get out, Saul pushes Joey into the shed, shuts the door and locks it whilst they start screaming and yelling, banging on the door.
Ryan Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 I take it the final scene has been cut, because the episode is presented as Steven and Selina kiss.
alexx Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 ^Yes what a horrible edit that was and it would have made the show look so weak. The following episode where the recap i nastily cut where the music just fades off abruptly is horrible too. It looks like the scene straight after the Selina/Stephen one in the Nash House kitchen was cut and it went straight to the Barry/Fin scene in the surf club. You can tell by the music just fading out and suddenly changing.
Red Ranger 1 Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Yeah, I think that was the period where ITV was gaining a reputation for cutting Home and Away to shreds, culminating in whole episodes and storylines not making it through Customs.(The BBC were doing similar with Neighbours, if I remember.)
j.laur5 Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Tom made me laugh when he said "We could lose all you kids" and I'm like, he could only lose Steve. Carly is an adult and Sally is adopted now and Chris is their own child.
Ryan Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Maybe someone should tell cath2010 calm down a little bit. You know in some ways this period was all very over the top, but at the same time it was written so well.
beau_t Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Maybe someone should tell cath2010 calm down a little bit. I'm a bit concerned that if cath2010 keeps this up, TheSoapology will get fed up with it and stop uploading episodes. She seems insatiable not to mention pretty ungrateful.
beau_t Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Watching one of the latest episodes, it's funny how much we take the internet for granted. With Irene and co trying to research surrogacy, where to go, who to talk to etc, and with the Doctor unwilling to provide any information, they were totally stumped. Today, you'd just google it. We forget how much harder it was to get information only a few years ago.
Ryan Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 I might be wrong, but I think this guy might also have been the other guy. The episodes uploaded have been pretty similar.
