Miles and Gypsy was another of my random ideas, originally it was going to end with Miles and Rabbit saying goodbye, then about two thirds of the way through writing it I realised people had latched onto the comment about Rabbit finding Miles a girlfriend and wondered who I could bring back for him.Gypsy just stuck out.Wasn't sure it would meet with universal approval so I'm glad everyone seems to like. Barbara Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Chapter 14: I’m glad Dexter found Nicole. I would never have thought Rabbit would be calling him but I smiled at her explanation. I liked this part: “Yeah.”Nicole looked suddenly thoughtful.“I wonder who she was…” “Maybe she was our daughter from the future, sending a message back along the timelines to save your life so you don’t die before we conceive her!”Dexter noticed Nicole’s look.“It’s possible.Haven’t you seen Back to the Future?” “Yes, I suppose it is at the farthest reaches of possibility.But until I get the sudden urge to procreate with you…” “You want me to go away and send Lucas in?” “Wow, you really can tell the future.” Since someone made a Nicole&Dexter avatar in the artwork thread, I've started liking the idea of them being a couple. Too bad it’ll never happen! I like the fact Lucas genuinely likes Nicole. She deserves a nice guy. I’m glad he came back to the Bay. The end of that chapter was so sweet! Chapter 15: I love Rabbit. I’m going to miss her now your fic has come to an end. Unless you come up with another fic with her in it in the future… It was really nice of her to grant Miles a wish. Hopefully, Miles and Gypsy will get together and be happy together. And I'm sure he'll be great with Lily as well As usual, this was a really enjoyable fic. Looking forward to the next one! Quote

Red Ranger 1 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 Okay, I'm currently working on Where the Heart Lies, which I mentioned in the advertisement thread a while back and which will hopefully be ready to begin posting in the next few days, but I've got some vague ideas for a sequel to this one which I've been thinking about this morning and are now semi-crystallised.So I'll probably end up writing them both simultaneously.
