I walked into Angelo’s a tad late a few hours later. I saw that Charlie & Leah were there already.

“Hey guys” I said sitting down next to Leah.

“Hey” they replied and looked at each other. I knew that look.

“Okay okay, say something then” I replied with a laugh.

Charlie grinned. I knew what was coming “So how was the rest of your afternoon?” she asked.

“Perfect, thank you very much” I replied.

“Irene told me what happened in the diner. Shame I missed that” Leah said.

“Oh god” I replied embarrased. “Well, it’s not going to happen again”

“Yeah right” said Charlie.

I looked at her curiously.

“You guys can’t keep your hands off each other” she said.

“Yeah well. I guess we’re making up for lost time. Lost time caused by me being an idiot” I said.

“You weren’t an idiot” Leah said.

“That’s what Liam said. But I let myself get walked all over by Vittorio. Again. Even when I knew he cheated on me in the first place. I could have been much happier sooner if I wasn’t so scared”

“You, scared? Scared of what?” Charlie asked.

“I’ve never had these feelings before. I thought I did with Vitorio but I didn’t. When I first saw Liam, something happened. I knew that I shouldn’t be feeling that but I did. But I was too damn scared. Scared that he might not feel like I did and even if he did scared that he was going to cheat on me” I sighed. “I thought that if I went through with the wedding and everything that these feelings would just go magically away. I mean I had a prince for goodness sake. But I wasn’t in love with him at all”

“And instead you chose a rock star” Leah stated the obvious.

“Obviously” I replied.

“For what it’s worth, I know you made the right choice” Charlie said.

“Thanks Charlie” I said. “Oh and thanks for being my bridesmaid. That meant a lot to me”

“Aha. So this is why you wanted to come to Angelo’s” I heard Sid say loudly.

I turned to look.

“Can’t I have a drink with some mates?” Liam asked.

“Sure you can. But you know why you picked this place. Because your girlfriend is sitting right over there” Miles said.

“Your so transparent Liam” Marilyn chuckled. She walked over to our table and sat down next to Charlie. “Liam bumped into us down at the diner and invited us out for drinks over here” she informed us.

“Did he now” I replied smiling.

“Well I didn’t know you guys would be here” Marilyn insisted.

“No but he knew” Charlie replied looking at me.

I grinned and walked over to where Liam was sitting with Miles & Sid. I put my arms around his neck and down to his chest. “HI toothpick” I said. “Fancy seeing you here” Kissing him on his check.

“Yeah fancy that” he replied.

“Why don’t you guys come join us?” I asked.

“Oh really. I thought you were having a girls night” Liam reminded me.

“Well your making that rather impossible right now” I said.

“Ah I see” he said. He got up and picked me up and put me over his shoulder.

“Li -am” I almost shouted. “People are going to see up my skirt” I couldn’t see where he was taking me but I sure hoped it was the balcony.

I felt the breeze and before I knew it he had put me down and started kissing me. I could hear the others laughing inside.

“Get a room guys” Miles shouted to us.

“Yeah I don’t want anyone falling off” Angelo said.

“Okay okay” Liam said sighing.

“Later we can continue” I whispered to him.

He looked in my eyes and moved a piece of hair from my face.

“Or we can get out of here now” he suggested.

I smiled. “But I haven’t finished my drink yet” I winged.

He laughed. “Okay, we can stay for awhile”

“Good cos I’m starving” I said.

“Mmm yeah me too actually” he said.

We walked back into the restaurant holding hands.

“See what I mean. Hands all over each other” Charlie said to me.

“Yeah yeah” I replied laughing.

“Well, why wouldn’t I want my hands all over her? I mean god she’s beautiful” Liam said.

“Okay, this is turning into a love fest” Miles complained.

“Yeah I agree” Leah said. “Guys there are single people at this table”

“Well, why don’t you two get together?” I asked.

Miles & Leah both laughed. “Now she’s a comedian” Miles said.

“What I’m a newbie here I don’t know what’s gone on” I replied.

“Yeah you’ve done pretty well as a Newbie Bianca. I mean getting engaged, almost getting married, leaving a prince at the alter, dating a rock star. Aren’t you exhausted yet?” Marilyn asked.

“And that was pretty much in the last month or so” Sid added.

I laughed. “Hey don’t forget I’ve been working too and looking after my sister”

“Well seriously, I’m glad you came” Charlie said.

“I’m definitely glad you came” Liam said.

I smiled. “Wow. I haven’t had many friends before so I feel really lucky right now”

“How come you haven’t had many friends?” Leah asked.

“I’ve heard I can be difficult to get along with at times” I said.

“Oh yeah. That’s true” Liam said.

I laughed. “Hey your not supposed to agree with me babe”

“Oh sorry. My bad” he laughed.

“Its okay” I replied.

“I’m sure Gina can vouch for that though” Charlie replied.

I laughed again “Okay yeah I was a bitch to her when we lived there” I said.

“Yeah that’s true. But your forgiven” Gina said coming up to us with John.

“Soooo how was the honeymoon?” I asked.

“Fantastic” John answered. “I’m so glad you didn’t get married”

“That makes two of us” Liam said.

I kissed Liam again. Seems that I can’t help doing this. I guess the kiss deepened a bit.

“Guys come on” Sid said.

“Oh your all just jealous” Liam said.

“And why would we be jealous?” Angelo asked.

“Because I have a beautiful hot girlfriend” Liam responded.

“So do I” said Angelo.

“Yeah me too” Sid said.

“I have a hot wife” John said.

“Look what you started babe” I said.

We were walking towards school the next morning for the first time this year.

“Okay seriously. How are we going to act around each other at school?” I asked.

“I don’t know baby. We can try to be normal but I seriously don’t know if that will work”

“That’s what I think. I don’t think we can hide our feelings”

“I know I can’t Bianca. But I will try to contain myself in front of the students”

We were standing in front of the school now.

“So lets get this out of the way right now” I said leaning in to give him a kiss.

We heard some whistles from several of the students.

“Uh oh. Think we’re in trouble already and school hasn’t even started” Liam said.

I laughed. “Come on lets just go in” I said grabbing his hand.

“Wait we can’t really hold hands though” he said.

I sighed. “Going to be harder then I thought” I said.

“Yeah well I’ll see you later Miss Scott” Liam said.

“Have a good day Mr Murphy” I replied trying hard not to laugh.

I smiled all the way to my classroom to set it up for everyone to come in. I narrowly missed bumping into Xavier on the way.

“Ooh sorry Xav” I said.

“Hey no problem” he said. “Thinking about Mr Murphy?”

“Perhaps” I said and continued walking before he could say anything else.

Class was over and I had just finished gathering everyone’s work when I heard the door opening and closing. I didn’t have to look to know it was Liam.

“Hi baby” he said.

“Hi toothpick” I grinned.

We were standing at the back of the classroom. He pushed me into the wall and started to kiss me.

“Liam, Liam what if someone sees us you know like Gina or a student” I said in between kisses.

“I don’t care” Liam responded.

“But” I said. Sure I was saying the right things but I wasn’t doing anything to stop it.

“Bianca” April’s voice startled me a few moments later.

“What?” I asked innocently.

“I just stopped people from coming in here. You guys are going to get in trouble if you keep this up you do know that right?” she insisted.

“I know. I was just saying we should stop” I replied.

“You were saying it maybe but not doing anything at all to stop” she said.

“Okay okay what are you the kissing police” I said dryly.

“No, I just don’t want you to lose your job” She said in a hurt tone.

I sighed. “Sorry April” I said.

“Anyway recess is nearly over so I’m going to go” she said.

“Okay, bye” I replied.

I looked at Liam. “I know” he said. “I know we have to be more careful. But I couldn’t resist”

“I know babe” I replied leaning into his chest.

I heard Liam sigh. “We got 2 minutes till the next class starts” he said.

“I have a free this lesson. I was going to go down to the diner” I said.

“Okay. Well I got to get my guetair set up” he said.

Still we weren’t making a move to go.

“I love you” I said.

“I love you too” he said kissing me again.

The door opened again. And someone coughed.

“Guys seriously. I need this classroom” said Miles.

“Sorry” said Liam.

“Sorry Miles” I said. “You better go”

“Yeah. I’ll meet you at the diner for lunch” Liam said.

He leaned in but this time I stopped him. “Babe” I whispered looking at the students.

“Right. See you later Miss Scott” he said.

“Bye Mr Murphy” I replied.

I arrived at the diner a few minutes later.

“Hey darl” Irene greeted me.

“Hey Irene” I said sighing.

“Oh whats wrong now?” she asked.

I smiled. “Well. I can’t stop kissing Liam” I blurted out.

Irene laughed.

“Ireneee” I said. “We were kissing in the classroom”

“Well in my days that was not allowed” Colleen said walking by. “In fact we had to act professional”

“Oh Colleen go put those on table 1” Irene ordered.

I looked at Irene. “I’m trying to act professional but April caught us and then Miles caught us. I’m afraid Gina’s going to come along and fire one of us or both of us”

“Well you’ll just have to find some way to work with each other without touching one another” she said.

I sighed again. “Its tough Irene” I said.

“Wow. Your deep in love aren’t you? “

“Well yeah. I ran out of my wedding didn’t I?” I said.

“Yeah but I thought it was mainly because you didn’t love Vittorio. I knew you had something for Liam I just didn’t know how bad it was”

“I just want to be with him all the time, every minute of every day and every night”

“Darl I don’t know what to tell you” she said.

“I love him Irene, I love him, I love him so much” I said.

“I’m assuming we are talking about Liam here?” Charlie asked.

I didn’t even notice her until she spoke.

“Yes darl” Irene said.

I had just received a text.

“Let me guess that’s from Liam” Charlie said grabbing the phone off me.

“Charlie” I said annoyed. “Come on don’t read it”

“What does it say Charlie?” Irene asked moving closer to the phone.

“Awww” they both let out.

“What, what does it say?” I asked eagerly.

Charlie gave me my phone back so I read it. It simply said I love you. I texted him back I love you too straight away.

“Want to go for a walk on the beach?” Charlie asked me.

“Yeah sure” I replied. “See you later Irene”

“Bye guys” Irene replied.

“Yes I am so happy. The happiest I’ve been in a long time” she replied.

I smiled. “So you really don’t think I’m crazy?”

Charlie laughed. “No but you got to pick good timings. Like the beach the other day, that was nuts. Trying to get your guys attention is hard too”

“Because I don’t want to stop. Kissing Liam feels like heaven” I said.

“I know what you mean. I love kissing Angelo” Charlie said.

“Let’s sit down over here” I said.

“Hey you guys” Nicole said walking up to us.

“How’s the surf?” I asked.

“Great. The water is really nice today. Aren’t you supposed to be in School?” She asked.

“I have a free right now” I said.

“Nic sit down with us” Charlie offered.

“Yeah sure. So what are you guys up to?” she said.

“Just chatting” I replied.

“About Liam?” Nicole teased.

“I can talk about other things” I replied.

“Yeah sure Bianca. I know what its like” she said.

“I know you know” I said.

“Being with Liam was nice. But I wasn’t in love with Liam. I thought that maybe I was but the age difference got in the way a bit” she said.

“Hey ladies” Liam said appearing out of no where.

“Hey babe” I said. “Is it lunchtime already?”

“Yeah” he answered. “I need to talk to you Bianca”

“Okay” I replied a bit worried. “I’ll see you guys later” I said to Nicole & Charlie.

“Bye” they replied.

We wondered down the beach. “Has something happened?” I asked.

“Yes” he replied.

“What, something about us? Don’t you want to be with me anymore?” I was jumping to conclusions I knew, but experience taught me to.
