I dialled my mothers number and wasn’t the least bit shocked when Vittorio answered.

“Hi Vittorio” I said calmly.

“Bianca. I guess April told you” he said just as calmly.

“Oh yeah she told me alright” I said. “How could you”

“How’s Liam?”

“Never mind Liam. I want to know why your with my mother. Its disgusting”

“I’m in love with your mother. I was just using you to get to her”

“I can’t believe you just admitted that. You are sick”

“I am not sick” he replied.

“Where’s my mother? I want to talk with her”

“Hi Bianca” I heard my mother say to me a second later.

“I can’t believe you are doing this. And you say that I made the wrong choice. I didn’t make the wrong choice mum. I made the right one. Liam is more of a man then Vittorio is any day. I was an idiot in believing in you and in him”

“You embarrassed your family when you walked out of your wedding Bianca” she insisted.

“No. I just embarrassed you. Your always act like that with me. And I want you out of my life. You and Vittorio can have each other. I don’t want to see you again. And I don’t want you to go near April either”

“What does April have to do with this?”

“I will not let you mess her life up. I’m going to adopt her mum. And you are going to allow me. Because if you don’t I will tell everyone about what you did to me. The court won’t like that at all”

“Fine. Take April”

“You’re disgusting, not wanting your own children. It’s so sick” I said and hung up the phone.

I looked at Liam looking at me. “You’re amazing” he said.

“No, you are amazing” I replied. “I’m so sorry I hurt you”

“It’s okay. Are you really going to go through with adopting April?”

“Yeah. You don’t think I can do it?”

“Of course you can baby. You can do anything you want to”

“You called me baby” I noticed.

“Yeah is that okay?”

“Of course it is” I started to cry. That phone call and the caring way Liam was being was too much for me to take. I’ve never had anyone as caring and kind as Liam.

“Baby, its going to be alright” Liam said pulling me into an embrace.

“I don’t deserve you Liam” I said crying into his shoulder. “I’ve been such an idiot, such a stupid person”

“Bianca, stop saying crazy things like that. You were confused. That’s all. It happens”

He kissed me. I love kissing him. It feels so amazing.

“I better apologise to Romeo. That was uncalled for” I said.

“Yeah good idea” Liam said.

The doorbell rang. “I better get that” he said. As he walked to the door I wiped away the rest of my tears.

He came back a moment later with another guy and a girl.

“This is my big brother Luke and my big sister Lucy” he said to me.

“Hey nice to meet you. I’m Bianca” I replied.

“Bianca’s my girlfriend” Liam added.

“Wow, i’ve never really heard you call anyone your girlfriend before” Lucy said.

“Well that would be because I’ve never loved anyone as much as I love Bianca”

“Turning into a softie little bro” Luke said.

“I haven’t changed all that much” Liam said.

We were all sitting on Liam’s couches. Liam and Luke were on the two individual couch and Lucy & I were on the big couch.

“You know you’re really pretty” Lucy said to me.

“Thanks” I replied awkwardly. I have never been called pretty before.

“So bro, how’s work going?” Liam asked.

“It’s going good” Luke replied. “I’m a television producer” he informed me.

“Right” I said. “That must be interesting”

“Yeah well I like it” he said.

“And I’m a singer like Liam but I don’t play any instruments” Lucy said.

“Oh, did you guys ever have a band?” I asked.

“Well we tried one time but it didn’t work out” Liam replied.

“Yeah too much fighting” Lucy said.

“Right” I said.

“So what do you do Bianca?” Luke asked me.

“I’m a teacher. I teach language. Italian mostly” I replied. “I used to live in Italy. Rome actually”

“Wow” Lucy said impressed. “I would love to go there someday”

“You should, it is so beautiful. And the food is to die for”

“Bianca just doesn’t speak Italian only. She speaks French too” Liam said.

“Oh yeah. Well my sister speaks it better then me. And sometimes when we get into it she speaks to me in French and I speak to her in Italian. She thinks it annoys me but it doesn’t really” I said.

I looked at my watch and realised that I had better get back home to April.

“Speaking of my sister I gotta go meet April” I said. “But it was really nice meeting you guys”

“Nice to meet you too” Luke & Lucy said at exactly the same time.

I started to walk to the door.

“Hey are you going to be alright?” Liam asked touching a strand of my hair sending goosebumps down my body.

“Yeah, I’ll be fine” I said.

“Ok well you call me at anytime alright?”

“I will” I replied kissing him. “I love you”

“I love you too. Goodnight” he said.

“Night” I replied and walked out the door.

Oh thats just about how her mother was sleeping with Vitorrio when she was as well. I figured that wouldn't look so good in a court room (but really how am i to know? lol) so she wouldn't get April either.

I walked back to my place. Well really its Irene’s place. April and I started living there after I got us kicked out of Gina’s place.

“Hey darl” Irene greeted me with a smile.

“Hey Irene. Is April home?”

“No but she called to say she’s on her way so is everything alright?”

“My mother is sleeping with Vittorio. And has been even when I was with him” I replied.

“Wow darl. How do you feel?”

“I hate them both. And I’m going to adopt April”

“Well that’s good. Does she know yet?”

“No net yet. I’m telling her when she gets here”

“Good. And how’s Liam?”

I grinned. “Well, do you really want to know?”

“No maybe not” Irene laughed.

“His older brother & sister arrived today though”

“Who’s older sister and brother came?” April asked walking in the door.

“Liam’s” I answered.

“Oh cool” April said. Typical teenage reply.

“And what are they like?” Irene asked.

“They seem nice” I replied.

“Anything on tv?” April said.

“Hey April, wait, come up to my room for a second” I said grabbing her arm.

I dragged her to my room and closed the door.

“Bianca, what’s happening?” She asked clearly amused.

“Well. I just wanted to know what do you think if I adopted you?”

She broke into the biggest smile I’ve ever seen from her. “Really?” she asked excitedly.

“Yes. I don’t want Mum to mess up your life. I don’t want her controlling you. I want you to do what you want you know within reason” I said.

“Oh my gosh. Bianca I would love that” she said.

“Good. Let’s go have dinner. I’m starved”

We were all seated around the table just eating and talking. Irene was there of course as well as her foster son Will and his little daughter Lilly who is too cute for words. We heard a knock at the back door.

“I’ll get it” I said jumping up.

“Because its Liam right?” April teased me.

“Hey I don’t know” I replied. “It could be anyone”

“Yeah, right darl” Irene said.

I laughed and opened the door. “Hey toothpick, what are you doing here, I thought you’d be with your brother & sister” I said.

“I just came to do this” he said kissing me.

He turned to go but I pulled him back and kissed him again.

“Liam, Hey Liam” Irene was trying to get our attention.

“Yes Irene” he replied a few seconds later.

“Would you like to stay darl?” she asked.

“I would Irene but I should get back to my brother & Sister. Thanks though” he said.

“No worries darl. And your welcome to stay any night” she said.

“Thanks Irene” he replied. “Ill see you in the morning” he said to me.

“Yup. Bye” I said.

“Well that was some kiss darl” Irene said.

“Yes it was” I agreed.

“You can’t stop smiling” April giggled.

“Okay, okay” I laughed.

I really don't think it's realistic that Bianca adopts April. Adopting involves becoming the parent of, it is different from becoming the guardian of. As sisters, it would be absolutely realistic if Bianca were to become the legal guardian of April.

Aside from that technical notion, I have to say it's a good story Great work!

I walked in the diner again the next morning and I saw Romeo sitting with his girlfriend Indi and Nicole who was almost like his sister.

“Hey guys” I said walking up to them.

“Hey Miss Scott” Indi was the only one to reply.

“Oh just call me Bianca outside school yeah?” I said.

“Yeah sure” Indi agreed.

“Do you want to sit down?” Nicole asked.

“Sure” I said taking a seat.

“So, how are things with Liam?” Nicole asked.

“Soooo fantastic” I replied.

“I guess you’ll be finding it hard to keep your hands off each other at School. You know what with bumping into him in the corridor, in the staff room” Indi teased.

“Indi” Nicole exclaimed. “You’re naughty”

“I’m not, just telling the truth right Miss.. erm Bianca” she said.

“Well I guess it will be hard acting all professional sometimes” I grinned.

“Yeah I bet” Nicole said.

I realised that Romeo hadn’t really spoken in this conversation.

“Hey Romeo, I really just wanted to apologise for yesterday. I shouldn’t have snapped at you, it was uncalled for so I’m sorry” I said.

Romeo smiled. “It’s okay”

“Yeah? We are good then?” I asked hopefully.

“Yeah, we’re good” Romeo replied.

“What happened yesterday?” Indi asked curiously.

“Oh I just took my anger out on Romeo that’s all” I said.

“What were you angry about?” Nicole asked.

“Well” I said unsure if I should tell them.

“You can tell us. We won’t tell anyone” Indi said.

“I guess people are going to know anyway cos Colleen knows. I found out my mother is sleeping with Vittorio and they were doing that when I was with him as well” I replied wondering what they would think of that.

“That’s insane” said Romeo.

“Yeah I can’t believe it. It’s really shocking” Nicole said.

“I can believe it” Indi said.

I looked at her surprised. “You can?” I asked.

“Well yeah, I mean if my mum can do it then I guess other mum’s can” she said. “My mum is with my ex right now”

“Oh wow. I’m sorry” I said.

“Yeah well. That’s why Dex & I moved back here with my dad” she said. “She’s in Europe somewhere. I haven’t heard from her in ages”

“Yeah at least your mum isn’t a drunk though” Nicole put in.

“Yeah exactly” added Romeo.

“Wow, mothers huh” I said.

“Yeah” Nicole said.

“What’s wrong with mothers?” Liam asked sitting down next to me.

“Oh you know, everything” Nicole replied. Nicole is also Liam’s ex-girlfriend. But they have remained close friends, I know Liam would do anything for Nicole, which is fine with me.

“Seems that Indi and I have something in common” I said.

“What’s that?” Liam asked curiously.

“Our mothers are sleeping with our ex’s” Indi said.

“Wow. That’s a sad thing to have in common” Liam noted.

“It is” I agreed and sighed.

“I just want you to know something Bianca” Liam said.

“What is it?”

“I’m not going to cheat on you. I promise” he said.

I smiled. “Good” I said and kissed him.

“Hey who are they?” Romeo asked suddenly seeing a couple of people walk in the diner.

“Oh there my older brother & sister” Liam answered. “Guys over here” he called to them.

They came and said their hellos.

“This is my mate Romeo, and his girlfriend Indi” Liam said introducing them. “And this is Nicole”

“Nice to meet you guys” Nicole said.

“Yeah your name sounds familiar” Luke said.

“Nic and I used to date” Liam said.

“Yeah but now we’re just close friend” Nicole said. “Liam’s like the only one of my ex’s that I’m really good friends with and I’m glad that your my friend”

“Ditto” Liam said.

“Your just lucky i’m not the jealous type” I said to Liam.

“Yes I am lucky” he replied.

As soon as he said that it was almost as if time stood still. I was only half aware that Nic, Indi, Romeo, Luke & Lucy were watching us kissing.

“Maybe we should leave them to it” I heard Indi say.

“Yeah I’m finished let’s go” Romeo said.

“So have you guys seen the beach?” Nicole asked Liam’s brother & sister.

“Not really” Lucy answered.

“Let’s go for a walk then” Nicole suggested.

“Good idea” Lucy said.

“Liam earth to Liam” Luke tried to get his attention.

“Forget it Luke. It’s no use. There like lost in their own little world” Nicole said. “I know they can half hear us”

“Yeah yeah go” Liam stopped kissing me long enough to say that.

“Dude the whole diner is watching” Luke informed us.

“Dude I don’t care” Liam responded.

“Hey” I winged. Liam found my mouth again and we went back to kissing.

We were alone at the table. I could kinda feel lots of eyes on us but at that point I didn’t really care. This was heaven. I didn’t want to stop.

A cough interrupted us so we reluctingly pulled apart.

“I know you guys are in love and everything but maybe you should take this elsewhere” Irene suggested.

“Irene” I winged.

“Sorry darl but your getting pretty heavy here” she said.

“It’s okay Irene, we’ll go” Liam said.

“Where are we going to go?” I questioned.

“My house” Liam said grabbing my hand.

“Alright” I agreed.

“See you later guys, and sorry I had to kick you out” Irene said.

“Don’t worry, I guess we were getting a bit heavy there” I admitted. “I’ll see you at home later”

We walked out of the diner.

“Well I don’t know if that was embarrassing or not” I said.

“I’d say not. I don’t care who sees us kissing Bianca. I love you and the whole world should know that” Liam said.

“Liam I love you too and I think the whole world knows that or at least Summer Bay” I said.

We were at the beach now. Standing near the entrance. Liam kissed me again and we kinda fell to the sand.

“Um you guys?” I heard Charlie say a few minutes later. “Guys?” trying to get our attention is a bit hard I guess.

I finally stopped but we were still lying in the sand. “Yeah Charlie?” I asked noticing that she was in uniform. Which does not look good, since she is a cop.

“I don’t want to do this” she started.

“Then don’t” Liam interrupted. “Don’t say what your going to say. We’ve already been kicked out of the diner” he added.

“You have?” She looked amused.

“Yeah” I replied. “And I guess we’re getting booted off the beach now?”

“Yeah. I’m sorry, but its just a warning okay?”

“Your no fun when your in uniform Charles” I joked.

She laughed. “I’ll call you later yeah? We can have a drink at Angelo’s”

“Yup. Sounds good” I agreed.

“Hey where’s my invite?” Liam asked.

“Sorry babe girls only” I said.

“Yeah I’ll get Leah to come too”

“Excellent. I’ll see you later” I said.

“Bye” she said. “And keep clean on the beach”

I laughed. “Come on let’s just go to your place” I said.

“Yeah okay, we don’t want to get into trouble again. That was twice in about 15 minutes” Liam said.

I laughed again. “We are so good” I said.
