FAN FICTION CHALLENGE

The "Where Are They Now" Fan Fiction Challenge

Seeing as Home & Away has entered into its 21st year, it would be a good idea to look back and reminisce on 20 years of characters who have entered then exited our screens leaving viewers wondering what has happened to them. Thanks to Jen for the suggesting the topic. :D

Criteria

* One shot with a title (up to 2000 words)

* Based on a character(s) from 1988 - 2008 only who has/have left the show.

The Fan Fiction must include the following:

* Food - fruit, vegetable etc

* A milestone - birthday or event which has a significance to the character(s)

* A specific location (town, country etc)

* A particular season

* Two colours

* Mention of Alf Stewart

The six above mentioned key words need to be in bold when writing your entry so to ascertain that they have been included.

If you need a proof reader, please contact me via PM a week before the due date so that one can be organised.

Once your entry is completed, please send it to me via PM.

Date of completion: Friday 20 February

Yes it is a very complex challenge but what's a challenge without some need to stimulate the muse. :P It's a very apt challenge and I know that it will get people's minds stimulated as there are oh so many characters to choose from.

Give it a go - challenge your mind - waken the muse within.

Best of luck to all who are entering the competition and I look forward to receiving the entries.

Hmmm, intriguing.

Are there 'bonus points' if you do a much older character, say, Henry rather than doing a newly left character such as Ric?

Or is it all the one.

^ There are no real 'points' as such. It's just about how you construct the story, and the way you choose to write it. Obviously you need to fulfil the QA's criteria, but apart from that it is up to you/ You'll get feedback in the end from those who read your story.
