Ryan Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 BacktotheBay, was a programme that Five aired for a few months on a Friday and was repeated during Milkshake on the Saturday. It was a ploy to keep people interested in Home and Away during the hiatus year. It featured interviews with the cast, behind the scenes stuff and information about the show in the past, and sneak previews about what had happened in Oz.

cool-chick Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 It was on channel five? i guess i must have missed it.
TJ01 Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Yeah it was shown on five at about 5.15pm on Fridays from November 2000 till just before H&A started again on five on July 16th 2001. I've still got the last episode of it on tape along with all the other H&A related programmes five screened around that time - the very end of it featured a mass gathering of the 'current' H&A cast circa. June 2001 (very very much altered from the cast the UK was used to since so many cast members left/arrived 2000-1) gathering in the Beach House saying a massive thank you to everyone for watching. I think that episode itself was hosted by Zac Drayson and Chris Egan, and focused on the trip to the UK to film the UK episodes so members of the cast could plug the show's UK relaunch, and fill their episode quota at the same time! If I ever get myself into gear, I'll try transfering it to DVD and uploading it for you if you want.
