I was much the same at your age, I think the only alcohol I would of had would of been maybe a sip of wine that my parents gave me at dinner sometimes. But of course I knew of others my age who were getting drunk and having sex, but those were the ones who looked old for their age and I'd say it safe to assume the majority I knew weren't at 14, but I guess things are a little different now only 6 or 7 years later and it does seem that kids are growing up faster both mentally and physically. But anyway, back on the parents thing, it shocked me at Christmas when my Aunt and Uncle allow my 8 year old cousin to have half a glass of wine with the meal. A sip would be fine, but half a glass....

Does anyone remember the Today Tonight story from ages ago on underage drinking, where they were saying it is becoming more of a problem because parents give their kids alcohol so they think its normal to drink... Anyway some church lady they interviewed said parents who let their children drink was just the same and as bad as if the parents let their children have sex under their supervision so they wouldn't go out and do it unprotected... Talk about going to extremes to try and prove your point.

The legal drinking age in New Zealand used to be 20.

You just click the "+ quote" button next to each post you want quoted, and then hit the add reply (doesn't work with fast reply) Alternativley if you use the reply button to quote one post, and then reply to another shortly after, the board automatically merges your posts together so it looks like you multi quoted.

I wouldn't bother making one unless you're thinking of applying for a job. And everytime you apply for a new job you should alter it to suit the job you're applying for.

I'm having a boring night at home 'cause I have work tomorrow at 8am and I went out last night Plus, the city probably isn't a good place to go tonight with the Mardi Gras on. I don't mind watching it, but that't not the sort of crowd I wanna be trying to get home with.
