They are obviously going all out with a bang, bringing out Sean's psycho, wacko side, Yeah I agree with you there, it's a shame really I remember when Sean first arrived and he and Stacey went to visit their mum and on the way back he told Stacey to go ahead and he'd catch up, then he began to cry. I was really hoping we'd get to develop that a little but now he seems to have been turned into a flat track villian.

Does any one else find it pretty sickening to watch Sean and Gus at the moment. I mean at the beggining it was funny with him pretending to have eaten Wellard, but now I just think it's gone too far- poor Gus seems terrified.

I loved it , after waiting so long to read more about Gypsy to get a whole chapter on her was brilliant. Wonderful, engaging writing as usual. I didn't even mind that you changed her back ground because you did it so briliiantly and made the character even more interesting. Hope to read more soon, thank you for that wonderful chapter .

Not another romance for Martha , which let me guess, will last all of five minutes before she realises her undying love for Jack? What was with Drew at the end? I mean he saw the article Belle wrote (as other people have also pointed out), it was obvious that she wasn't even aware it had been changed. And even if she did know, exactly what could she have done, demanded that they not run the story? Yeah because her being a cadet, she certainly has a huge say in what does and doesn't get printed huh? Besides since when did Drew become Mr Morality? I mean this is the guy who used stolen car parts, cheated on his girlfriend with her mother, took part in illegal drag racing which eventually killed a girl and ran someone over with no intention of going to check if he was even alive.

Thanks, I don't think anybody else liked it. No more reviews either here or on fanfic.net. ETA: Ah, well, not to worry, I'm going to watch High School Musical 2 now. I've only just read this chapter and it was really wonderful. I wouldn't call myself a big Bareen fan (I mean I did love them together and wish things could have turned out better, but I'm not completely in love with them as I am with say Will/Gypsy or Leah Vinnie, K/K...) but that chapter was so beautifully written and I can really relate the younger Irene to the present one. All in all it was a great chapter and I look forward to reading more .

That is the line of the century! I only caught the last 10 or 15 minutes of todays episode, but was it just me or did it seem a bit strange that Jack was talking about Johnny in an open space and via a microphone? I mean, if Johnny was in the Bay and around that area, which the audience know he is, he'd be able to hear all of that! You've got Jack saying things like 'They'll be police officers in the school and posters everywhere if you don't know what he looks like', etc. And Johnny would just think 'Well I won't go there, then'. I just thought it was really odd. Lol well Summer Bay's police force aren't exactly the brightest crayons in the box .
-
And isn't it funny how even the most seemingly serious life-threatening injuries seem to have a happy outcome. A child being hit by a car, people being blown up, hit over the head, Jack in a coma (for the millionth time it would seem)- Summer Bay's doctors and nurses seem to have the perfect cures .

How exactly is Sam to blame? It was Martha's stubbornness that got her into the situation- Rachel warned her to wait for security but she walked out anyway, and if Sam had gone with her she would have walked her to her car and then walked back on her own, thus putting herself in danger. Jack as always was weak and pathetic, although I did like his line to Jonah about being a man who assualts women because his mother tells him to- I was begining to think people had forgotten about that . But then for perhaps the first time I loved Jonah for punchinhg Jack- I have wanted to do that for such a long time.

More Jack and Martha , anyone else feel sorry for Sam? I mean is Jack really that stupid does he really expect that after finding out that his ex wife told him he shouldn't marry Sam that Sam would be ok with it all? Or am I missing something and does he not know that Sam knows? He's just so weak either he loves Sam and wants to marry her- in which case he should see how uncomfortable she is with Martha being around all the time or he should admit that he doesn't want to marry her and be done with it. "Me and Martha planned our wedding in a week" "Yeah and it lasted all of four months" has a truer word ever been spoken on HAA? And funny how Jack's already up and about and ready to go back to being one of the most useless cops in the history of Summerbay... to think it was only a couple of weeks ago we were all wondering whether he would even wake up. I absolutely hate the way Jack and Martha are presented as some kind of fairytale couple forced to be apart, it's quite tragic and pretty cringeworthy at times, she left him because he was a cop and shock horror actually had to work hours other than 9-5, what's more is she left him while he was in hospital and slept with is best mate then proceeded to begin a relationship with him (even though he himself was a cop, not exactly the brightest crayon in the box Martha , it didn't even matter that he had a wife and kids tucked away- so lesson to be learnt- it's ok if you're a lying cheating sleazebag just as long as you don't work too much ). Even if the Ash stuff never happened Martha stilly said she fell out of love with Jack, that isn't (in my book) some all-conquering great love that it is constantly made out to be. As for trying on Sam's wedding dress- who does that , seriously who would try on someone else's wedding dress without their permission, especially being that person's fiance's ex wife and knowing that the women doesn't exactly like you, plus being sweaty and dirty from working on the farm all day- it's just beyond pathetic and way beyond the boundaries of acceptable behaviour.I really wouldn't blame Sam if she wanted to throttle Martha, in fact I'd encourage her to and while she's at it maybe she could do the same to Jack...pretty please?

^^^My theory about that is that Ric needed Mattie to trust him but she couldn't, I guess Viv makes him feel special, she listens to him instead of the other way round as it is with him and Mattie.

I'm so sad to see Tam go, I think she had the potential to be a fantastic character, and I loved her for the few weeks she was actually on the show. I really hate when HAA do this, they bring in a character make audeinces warm to them, get used to them and fall in love with them and before you know it they're gone . It was the same with Hugh, I totally loved him but he only got a few weeks, I think I'm just not going to get involved with character's now until I know they're permanent . It's so typical that as soon as I start to quite like Brad over the last couple of weeks it's time for him to leave too, nice scenes between him and Sally though and aww at Rachel being left on her own . I might be the only one to actually feel this way but I really like Viv and Ric together , I just think Mattie never really appreciated him enough and he was always the one looking after her I think she began to take him for granted after a while. Plus I never really liked Mattie much so maybe it's just me being biased. Also did anyone else think the girls' hairstyles weren't looking too great? Cassie kind of reminded me of one of those milk maids you get in older movies and Belle's just looked way too drastic. Funny how the awards all seemed to be won by the main cast characters, you'd think after a while the other residents would get a little fed up by a select group of people always scooping prizes/awards ?

I loved it! Aww at the Noah/Kit parts, I would have loved to have seen them actually together on the show (back when I actually liked Kit, before they ruined her character with the Kim/Rachel thing) but you make it seem so real and vivid . Looking forward tos seeing what Adam has planned, and can I just add that it is amazing how you are able to write so much on one night not only without it ever getting boring but also being able to keep it so interesting .
-
I'm really hating this whole Jack/Martha thing, and I have a feeling it's going to drag out for a long while yet. Why can't they both just work out what it is they actually want and then dissapear . I felt bad for Sam, her fiance's ex telling him he shouldn't marry her can't be a very nice feeling .
-
I just had to come on here and say this- the whole 'Jack's in a coma, OMG will he ever wake up ' thing has been done to death. I find it quite pointless, as it's inevitable that he will wake up, which just means that I don't even bother investing in the story simply because I know what the outome will be. Seriously how many times are they going to pull this one? Does anyone even actually believe that he won't make it through? It has such a huge contrast to the Neighbours storyline with Didge in a coma, Tthat had me really involved and TBH I could have believed that it wouldn't end in a fairytale where she's wake up and everything would be fine and go back to normal in a couple of days.

^^^ I love this fan fic it just seems so real and your writing of the characters is fantastic- it really brings them all to life. Great last part, but I'd love to see more of Gypsy - you write her so well! Good to know that you'd carry on regardless - I began a fan fic a few months back and I continued to update it regularly for a while but even though the viewings suggest people have been reading it I haven't had any comments whatsoever and I'm not sure that I'm even going to carry on with it. Hope you continue writing this though, it might be addictive writing it but it's also pretty addictive reading it .

No your're not alone- I completely agree. I mean Garry's twice her age or something? I know that age doesn't really matter but I really don't like the idea of them two together, when i see them together it's more like he's her uncle or something . And not to be mean to Garry but why would he think he still had a chance with Dawn? She's knocked him back so many times and I can't believe that Mickey would encourage him. I agree I loved Roxy and Jase together they had this great spark and I loved that bit when she went to see him after finding out about Ronnie/Jack and the club .
-
It was definately one of the sadder episodes, I even had a tear in my eye during the Bruce-Geoff bits at the footie game. It was nice how Aniie and Geoff weren't alone at the end and that Bruce knows they have people to look after them now. Still an incredibly sad episode .

I'm hating Jane at the moment, IMO she's either a complete hypocrite or has an extremly short memory- she had an affair with Grant so how on earth has she got the right to judge someone else for having an affair . And her whole 'I'm waiting for you to mess up so I can have my family back' thing to Steven- they may be her family but they're just as much his . I'm not excusing what Steven did but I really hate this manipulative bitchy side of Jane which is a shame as I really used to like her. Ok rant over- sorry .

I'm looking forward to how Darren copes with knowing about Phil's involvement in Kevin's death- something tells me it won't be pretty . Although I like Sean and think him and Tanya have great chemistry I think it would have been interesting to see him help Carly through her dad's death- he did go through the same thing with his dad and it's something we haven't really heard him talk about so from my POV that could have been an interesting path to go down. Plus I alway's thought that him and Carly had alot of potential- when they first got together I got the impression that he really cared about her. Also did anyone else think the way Denise spoke to Kevin in the morgue was a little ott- or was that just me?
-
I think that past few episodes have been fantastic, the revelation was well worth waiting a year for IMO and I find myself feeling bad for all the characters involved in the Max/Stacey storyline (even Max). poor Abi and Lauren in these eps- the actresses who play them have both done such a brilliant job.
-
Breakfast at Tiffany's , definitely up there with the all time greats and Audrey Hepburn totally shone- elegant, beautiful and a wonderful actress .
-
I really like Jack and hope he doesn't end up leaving. I guess you could maybe say he's a bit of a cliched character but aren't most characters? I mean you get the nerdy type (Bradley, Ben), The rough-'em-up meathead (Phil), the tart-with-a-heart (Stacey), the matriarch types (Peggy, Pat, Dot), the thick but loveables (Gary, Minty), the tomboyish ones (Carly), the bad-lad (Sean) and the pretty-but-vain types (Dawn). All in all I think most soaps on the whole contain different versions of pretty much the same type of characters.
-
^^While I do agree that they were both partly to blame for the affair (afterall it takes two to tango ) I think Max was quite alot more in the wrong than Stacey. I mean obviosly having an affair with a married man is a no-no, but at the end of the day Max was the one who was married with kids, he was the one who betrayed his family. Stacey was hurt by Bradley and looking for a way to hurt him back and yes having an affair with his dad probably wasn't the best way to go, but Max was ultimately the one who I think should have shown a bit more consideration for his family. Even approaching her wedding he was the one trying to get back with her, she was the one who pushed him away.

I liked the old Rory so much better- he was cute and sweet- why did they have to replace him?
-
^^^Yes but he's still hot . Even besides that, I'm quite liking Jack. I hate Phil right now so anyone who can wind him up gets into my good books .
