Does anybody know (or noticed) why the logo on the end credits (U.K.) keeps changing? Is the old type logo before the latest revamp of the titles and suddenly the other day it changes to the new smooth logo, which I thought was great as it all matched and now it’s changed back again. Does anyone know why they would do that?

The RTETwo showing at 6:30pm gets around 70,000 and is in the top ten for the channel. I cant find the lunchtime screening ratings for RTE One maybe someone can help?

Home and Away is also now airing on Viacom’s new Paramount channel. Most significantly the Omnibus edition on a Saturday morning at 10:10am. Upto now the Sunday morning Omnibus on 5Select at 9am hasn’t been available to freeviews viewers. Both Omnibus editions remain meaning we get home and away 7 days a week now!!

Easter Schedule changes. Home and Away will air on Good Friday at the earlier time of 12:10pm and then again regularly at 6pm on Channel 5. Easter Monday Home and Away airs earlier again at 12:10 pm and then again at the LATER time of 6:30pm. I cant work out what 5Star airings are doing as that seems to be on at 6pm on Easter Monday looking at the TV guide.

Very good point. At least on channel 5 you know when it’s on.

It really does make sense. And since they changed Neighbours to same air date the ratings have been great. The last few years, they’ve kept it on air all summer anyway unlike years gone by so the only break we’re getting is in winter now anyway.

I would guess it’s a money thing? Otherwise we’d have seen it happen by now. Channel 5 pays considersbly more for Neighbours.

Gosh I had no idea they were showing less eps a week. I assumed they did a double on a Thursday. I do recall a few months back seeing someone on twitter say that 4 eps back to back on one night was aired and it didn't work as they're not made to be watched in this way. All seems very erratic. Luckily it's nice and simple over here on a channel 5. 6pm thanks what you say Red about us going to 8th December sounds the most likely scenario if it puts us the same number of eps behind as usual.

I did notice we seemed to have crept up looking at social media. It will be interesting to see when our Christmas break will happen. Out of curiosity, when does neighbours normally break? As that's now same day broadcasted, I'd imagine they'll keep us in line with that. Although it's probably wishful thinking, as you say they've kept one on without the other before. any news on a spin off??

Yes the premier is actually 5* and performs well in the ratings as you say. I don't watch it due to not being in HD either. I like the 6pm slot though. It's a great alternative to news and the show has been there longer than it hasn't now!

Absolutely. It looks as though we're going right to November/December. The scheduling is odd to me also. In the past they've slid neighbours to 5 o clock and Home and Away to 5:30 on a bank holiday. And I don't think being on straight after The Wright stuff would harm anyone.
