  1. Guess we're on that Twilight Zone thing again. Dooo... Dooo... Doo.. Dooo... Dooo... Dooo... Dooo.. Dooo... Or Call in Mulder and Scully, For the truth is out there... Okay, Got that out my system. Not a big Sci-Fi fan but I love references and general sendups/parodies. Back on topic, When Sal went through the same thing with Tom after stabbing Number 2, Alf was the only one who believed her somewhat as He went through the Ailsa/Tumour hallucinations 5yrs before! And don't get me started on Ken's smith Ghost appearances!
  2. Waterloo Road was pretty much the same in a lot of respects (character redemption)
  3. Kyle, before he went into care after Mrs Bennett's death, only saw Danny on a limited basis as he had a wife (who was cheating on him as well) and kids on the other side of the tracks. Ah as for characters like that not being regulars but if the girlies like the bad boys, the producers keep them (i.e. Kane, damn rapist) after the writers cook up "sympathetic" backstories as "justification" for their acts.
  4. Well, that's put that question to bed. Australia just has some big acting/directing families (Currys, Daddos, Kilpatricks, Hemsworths, Meillons, etc) and I assumed. Cheers for confirmation.
  5. I'm wondering if his Uncle is Simon Westaway (famous for being a legit cop and playing cops)?
  6. One thing he has in common with Bob is at some point, they've both shot someone!
  7. Good stuff. I can see Bruce Kilpatrick reprising some of Bob Landers in that scene.
  8. ^ I'm going to hell for a chuckle at that, aren't I? (At least I'll be warm 6 months of the year!)
  9. ^ Nah but the Closest was Angie Russell/Nick Smith which was more psychological and she spun it out to make it look like he attempted to Rape her when he confronted her in class.
  10. And let's not forget it bobbed up again in 2001 when Seb was introduced.
  11. Some people see it as Karma for what he did to Casey in the desert but He did work hard to reform.
  12. Norm looks well. Glad he, Ray, Nicole, Ross and Ryan are still good mates.
  13. Some of us may dub it "Vague" Incidentally, Neighbours had their own stripped down version that played in the early 2000s. Butchered just enough not to have pay royalties
  14. On several occasions, wasted on Nick and Lou.
  15. Around 1988-92, there was stuff that a UK fan would recognise. House of the Rising Sun, Birdie Song, Axel F, An in-house U can't touch this, etc.
  16. ^ The salon was based in the diner's back room.
  17. Yep. They knew they had to shut that mess down. That set up wtih Irene, the girls and Joey was pretty good.
  18. I remember that little triangle in early 1997.
  19. Loving it so far. I wonder if Alf will point out the resemblance between Nick and his late nephew Alan.
  20. Mason reminds me of some weird a mishmash of Drew/Stevo/Aaron
  21. ^ Well, as of 2015. That's no longer the case.... Also, was Irene's maiden name ever confirmed as McFarlane as Wendy made no mention of being married. And Irene got the Roberts name from Mud? (unless it's like Fresh Prince where Will's folks Lou and Vy happened to have the same surname! )
  22. ^ Martin did have family: Dodgy Father, Put-upon Mother and Two Brothers who were basically extras in the scene they appeared in.
  23. Christ... It was only 5yrs ago he was kissing the face off Ashleigh Brewer and the footage in their storyline was frequently played back!
  24. It's 1995. You'e gonna be hearing a lot of that. Also, "When Will you fall for me?" will be one of the Jams from this year.
  25. That Edwyn Collins track was quite the worldwide smash. It got played to death over here. #6 in Aus, #4 in the UK, #1 in Belgium!
