A new family would be cool... Even cooler if the family wasn't white, imagine an Asian family moving to the bay? It'd be nice to see another culture on Home and Away and please give them Asian names, I'd rather see names like Hoseok Kim, Tao Zhong or Rin Nakamoto than Western names like Karen Warner, Lynette Travers or John Smith.

We need a main character who is Asian, an Asian family would be better. We had Jai Fernandez in 2008 - 2009 and Stevie Marlow was a guest character with various Asian characters as guests throughout the series, but I think an Asian family would be a cool move, especially if we can see some Asian culture on Home and Away. -

Elspeth would have been neat in Home and Away, hell, everyone from Prisoner, barring the actor who played Ram would have been awesome.

He was hilariously thump-happy back in the early years... Always wanting to punch someone. I didn't like how he was kinda racist when it came to David (Roo's Asian boyfriend).

Rewatching The Early Years

Funny, I noticed the same thing, I wonder if the set was sold to Channel 7 and repurposed for Home and Away's Summer Bay High? I mean, there's only a two year break between Prisoner's end and Home and Away's beginning, besides, Home and Away commenced filming in 1987, so it is quite possible... Either that, or the same set designer worked on both shows, oddly enough, Don's office almost looks like a refurbished version of Ann Reynold's office, just without the wardrobe and the air vents.
