I keep telling myself things can only get worse before they get better, and hoping that they will. But, I have this feeling that your going to shock us and whatever happens next will take my by surprise once again. I fear that Maddie an Luke are falling into that dangerous place, where they don't talk, and simply take up appearances. And I dont like that, because they worked so hard to get to where they were. And still, my poor Henry. I mean, come on, how much begging can a twin brother do before hes forgiven? She hasn't even given him a chance to be her rock and I really feel he'd step up to the challenge if he was. As always, I loved it Kase, and cannot wait for more!

Am I a cow if I still feel sorry for Henry, and am beginning to dislike Ric? Because I am. I feel that Henry believes hes lost his place to Ric, and he's just lashing out because he doesn't want to loose his twin *sniffs* Poor Henry. And poor Maddie and Luke too, they seem so broken. God, it makes me want to cry. Everyone is a little bit broken, I hope they get fixed soon. As always, brilliant chapter Kase, the writing was truly captivating, I can't wait to read more

Thanks Kase I'm glad you enjoyed it. I agree. Generally I'm a Maddie/Luke person too, but when I re-read that scene, I just thought 'That's right'. I figured out that somehow, this story has become centered around Ric and Cassie, with Maddie and Luke playing the background characters. I didn't mean for it to happen, but it did. Expect the final chapters tomorrow

Another great update. I'm ashamed to say I loved the advancement of the Belle and Henry story line the most. And I'm very unsure about where this Ric having feelings is headed... gives me a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I'm glad Maddie and Luke appeared to be okay. I think they need to lay it all out on the table though, because otherwise things won't be the same again. I can't wait for more Kase, even if it is coming to an end

I can really imagine that scene playing out. Maddie alone in her room, Lucas down at the bar drowing his sorrows. I think I'd be in tears. That was such a moving chapter Kase, and I really hope that they'll be okay. Can't wait for more.

Yeah. There will be a third (and final) installment of the series. Minus evil Henry. He's run his course, and will not be returning in the next story. Thats a promise I intend to keep Have a little faith in me, that everything will end how it should... for now.

Poor Maddie! I'm so glad Lucas is there for her! Although I completely understand Beths reaction. Maybe she'll come round and maybe... suggest other options... I mean... 16 is so young! Whatever happens, I'm seriously enjoying the story

While one story is amazingly adorable, the other makes them very brave, and very scared kids. Lucas is being so strong, I'm loving that. And protecting Maddie at all costs, thats so sweet. I can't wait for Tony and Beth dealing with it, I wonder if Beth will go psycho about it... hmm. Can't wait for more

I have to admit, I got excited about Rome (I'm a Rome nut, LoL) But then there was suspence and drama and poor Maddie. She can't catch a break can she? Though Lucas is there to support her, so hopefully everything will be fine... for a while! I can't wait for more... and also, welcome back from holdiays! I hope you had a great time!

Thanks guys Shortie_689 so many questions! All of my fan fictions are situated in my profile on fanfiction.net, except for my major work I wrote for english last year, and that can be found here. I think its got a similar writing style to this one, less angst thought. Any other stories I write will probably be H&A and therefore posted in this forum. As for a sequal to DFAM, I have to say its not on the top of my to write list. I really honestly never planned to write a sequal for any of my stories, but then, That Endless Summer just came, so I went with it. I wouldn't know how to explore a DFAM sequal... unless something kooky happened. Having said that, I just had an idea... but I think I'll write it down and store it for a rainy day:) Next chapter up soon guys! Thanks for enjoying this story!

Wow, I knew I'd made Parker and Lily witch like, but you guys really hate them. I'm kinda impressed that I can write characters that people want to kick! Kase, that was awesome. And wonderful! And heatwrechingly sad. I just wanted to hug Maddie throughout all of it, because she's suffering for no real reason. Stupid Henry (I never thought I'd say it) but it's all his fault. I hope she gives him the cold shoulder for a long time. And Ric too. And I hope she and Luke are strong enough to get through this.
