  1. Remember that loud piece of rap music that was blasting when Alsa came home to catch Karen having it off with "Duggie" on her loungeroom floor in early 1993? The aforementioned track was playing in the Diner in today's episode (1641) when Alf asked Jack about what Curtis was getting up to, finding it hard to believe that he would be studying off his own bat, and that really he is mucking around with Cloe. The scene ends with Duncan having an accident in the kitchen (sound of smashing glass). The song seems to have "Angels" in its lyrics.
  2. Shane's exit was planned many months in advance, they were saying he and Angel were going to leave Summer Bay for a trip around Australia.
  3. Sorry to stray off-topic here for a bit, but..... & I like Jack's sister, Kathy! I think she is cute! ♥ ♥
  4. Yes, that was the Selina I liked Edward Skylover hehehe
  5. Beau_T, I swear I really didn't notice the surfer running behind them until Dan F pointed it out in answering my question! And yes I know it was Chloe who walks past Jack and Damian in the 1994 titles, because somebody pointed it out in the 1994 Discussion thread.
  6. In the current version of the opening titles, why do Irene and Marilyn each give a funny look? Is it an in-joke by the producers at those 2 girls running on the beach?
  7. Very ambiguous throwaway comments. Yes. How convenient. Ambiguous indeed. And we're supposed to be able to make sense of how Christopher "happened" (despite the so-called life-and-death risks they seemed so sure about).
  8. Uh-uh. No. Sorry, but these things don't "just happen".
  9. Yeah, then in mid-1992 he and Pippa decided to have Dale
  10. Is that the same kind of reason why Selina can predict the future, and "feel things" when Elizabeth Clarke dies?
  11. Selina gets stung by that bee at the end of Episode 1788, which is due to air on 7TWO on Tuesday, January 3.
  12. Who are these birds in the opening titles? 1. The one that gets groped as the closing credits begin 2. The 2 runners on the beach
  13. Has anyone here had any problems with display ads on the site automatically playing audio?
  14. Can anyone identify the song playing in these scenes from Wednesday's episode? Listen to the Diner's jukebox in the background (1749)
  15. In Australia at least, when they were originally shown, there was a preview for the upcoming episode right before the closing credits started. These appear to have been cut from all the repeat episodes (at least on TV).
  16. Who's idea was it to call the character of Murdoch Roberts (Irene's husband) "mud"???
  17. I Remember by The Badloves?
  18. What I'm saying is, Alsa was imagining Bobby when she was in that mental state. They showed what she was imagining. That is different to saying Bobby was "really" there. No?
  19. It's called trick photography. Are you having a lend of me or something?
  20. Whaat?? How could it even be the slightest bit possible that Bobby's ghost was real?
  21. What happens to the written scripts and storylines typed up by the script producers etc.? Do they get thrown in the rubbish? It would be such a terrible waste. They should all be published online
  22. (Dear Moderators: do I put Mushroom Music references here or is this music classed as 'underscores' unless they play on the Jukebox or on a radio?) EPISODE 1701 — Another Music Montage episode: I've Got A Plan by My Friend The Chocolate Cake plays for the last few minutes of this episode, to scenes of Alf and Alsa, and Curtis and Selina.
  23. I have always thought Irene only ever had 3 kids: Damian, Fin & Nathan!
  24. Now it's because Laura died just after Selina ("destined" to be his next girlfriend) got pregnant. How that logic works is beyond me. Perhaps someone else can try to explain it to at least try to make any sense out of it
  25. How did Selina know the baby she was going to have, was going to be a girl?
