Leah Patterson/Baker - Ada Nicodemou
j.laur5 replied to Skykat's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
Ada had proven what a terrific actress she is!. i can understand her hurt as VJ is her world and if he's hurt then so is she!. And I don't think Leah is being harsh to Marilyn. Leah was pointing out you need to focus on you life not mine or Irene's !. Marilyn needs to be careful not to turn into a busybody like Colleen as that's where she's headed. At least Colleen had the excuse of being lonely with not much in her life. Whereas Marilyn has John and could have plenty in her life but decides to take an interest in other peoples life's instead of her own. Leah is only thinking of her hurting and that's why she feels so betrayed by Irene. She just wants to be left alone and not have Marilyn and Roo interfering. They both should focus on their own lives! -
I hope Marilyn has some comedy moments soon. I can completely understand that PTB are giving her development. She has always had development. Even in her 1995 return she was already more mature and less scatty compared to her first appearance in 1989.

What was reason why Emily Symons left for little while in 1989?.
-
Glad you all like it!. But I am afraid this story is short and sweet as it loses its purpose and meaning if it went any longer.

Why don't we ever see Donald's place?.

I wish we got to see Kyle's family on his mum's side. Maybe he could have had a half brother with autism. That's a good way to see Kyle's caring side.
-
Yeah but Steven left and only come back for little while. In all honestly I have really grown to looking at Pippa as the same character, rather Vanessa or Debra playing her.
-
No Pippa in 1998.

It's a shame Leah didn't have a couple more kids, as we could have seen siblings growing up on screen. But I guess it would be hard to write for so many young kids. -
Did anyone notched when Josh was living with Braxton's Kyle was only that borthed taking care of Josh?.

Martin "Ash" Ashford - George Mason

The only time I liked Martin was during All or Nothing as he was so brave risking his life for everyone!. But Kyle and Heath were doing the same too. -

I think he is rather pointless character!. -

I know neither Leah or Irene are being very likeable at moment but I am finding my self siding with Leah as Leah least has excuse of standing up for her son and looking out for new born. I think Luc is better off with Leah and VJ despite not sharing Dna as Martin gets unstable at times and he can find himself on wrong side of law and Irene is reaching retirement age and Irene has had mental health problems with her drinking and has breast cancer and by time Luc will have left school Irene will over 80 and Leah will only be 58 and still be working and therefore not only more carpale at looking after Luc physically but also mentally and finically and lets not forget VJ will only in his late 30s. Also I think I rather Leah looking after me then Irene as Irene can get bit fiery and hard on her kids at times!. -
I have to say I sadly agree with Irene's flaws now. At least Leah's just standing up for her son, and even though Leah may not be at her most likeable at moment, at least she is supporting VJ!

Is actor who plays Saul related to Kate Richie?.

Why was Gina so unliked?. I get she was not your normal motherly character like Pippa/Shelley/Beth/Leah. But I thought it was interesting turning Gina into a more rounded character than just being perfect mother hen. Also I was never sure of any similarities between Gina and Beth as Gina was far more business minded, was much more enclosed on her feelings and had a tougher edge to her whereas Beth was much more mummsy and much more open on her feelings showing a much more gentle and sensitive side.

She gone to visit her brother. -
Or Irene could had just move in with Bobby.

I know I only said this a little while ago but more the I watch Tori the more I think they might as well just recast Hannah with Penny McNamee. Don't get me wrong I like Tori but she just feels too much like recast Hannah and both Penny McNamee and Cassie Howarth do kind of look like.

I had a bad feeling of that too as I hoped they still would have brought in Irene as a regular even if Bobby was staying as I like friendship that Irene and Bobby had year before.
