I hope we get another teen like Annie. I like how Annie was somewhat more dull and a bit more of a needy child while definitely growing a lot by the end. . However I was always surprised that Irene wasn’t too bothered about letting one of her more needy foster children go live on the other side of the world. I know Irene knew Annie was going to live with family and Irene knew family herself by staying with them for few weeks. But still it might have been nice to see Irene show some doubt about letting one of her more needy foster child to be living on other side of world and felt rather rush to point where seemed like they just wanted get Annie permanent exit out way.

Sorry I missed that bit on you saying her occasional appearance on Neighbours and thought the play was in Sydney. But I do think Debra would return to H&A as a guest if asked and wasn’t busy. But unfortunately I can’t see that happening at the moment unless they decide to bring characters back for a reunion if Irene has 70th or other Summer Bay town celebration.

The Harry Potter play is in Glebe I believe and that’s only a few suburbs away from the H&A studio in Eveleigh. Debra said in an interview that she misses more family simple stories. But she said she definitely understands why the show had to become more dramatic and that the show had to keep up with the times. No one wants to watch simple stuff at 7pm anymore . But I think Debra wouldn’t turn down a guest appearance if offered. I guess Debra knows the main reason why they haven’t brought her back in a long time is that Pippa was brought back mostly because of Sally. Now Sally is no longer on the show she doesn’t expect to be asked back.

I think it's a shame Morag didn't appear more around 2010-2017 as I would like to see Morag try to keep the Braxtons under control and battle with Jade Montgomery and Charlotte King and helping Morgans in witness protection and also putting Alf in his place in 2015 after he was taken out on everyone when his past demons form war come to haunt him.

Ailsa was mentioned by Ruth and her words were, "You didn’t stop to think to tell your wife," as in, Ailsa. Ailsa was actually mentioned just a little while ago about Ruth being the step-daughter from hell. But the thing that annoys me is how there’s been nothing about how Martha faked her death. I guess this definitely isn’t the first and certainly not the last time one storyline is this messy. But I'm definitely not saying it’s just H&A, but other shows are certainly just as bad.

Who would have liked June Reynolds to become a regular? I really liked her character and her chemistry with Donald. I think she would work very well as a town matriarch as she seemed to interact well with all the characters. Who agrees?

I just don’t think it would work with Georgie Parker as Ruth. If Justine Clarke was playing Ruth still I would be all for it. I think bring back Harvey would be better!

Poor Ruth, her character really has been sidelined for sometime now and I wonder maybe if Harvey wasn't written out as I think Ruth and Harvey had potential as a long term couple.

I just rewatched Pippa's last appearance in 2009 and it seemed more like Debra Lawrance than Pippa we knew in 90s. In the 2009 episodes and I remember people seemed to give Pippa a bit hate when 7Two repeated her episodes and I think the problem was everyone got to used her guest returns as Pippa and was just being like Debra Lawrance and not having deal with Summer Bay dramas. But I think when Characters are not having storylines centred on them the character feels more like the actor.

Normally they don’t recast characters but was there a reason for recasting Flynn?.

Did anyone notice that Ailsa's character seemed different in 1988? Judy Nunn said in an interview that she always tried to keep edged to her character even though she did become more mummy’s. I think the writers did enjoy looking into Ailsa's backstory. Its a shame that Judy didn’t get to play Ailsa when going back to her family home but I think Nancy Hayes did a very good job at making it believable!. But I think Judy probably wasn’t too worried since she wasn’t well at time and completely understandable as well as health always needs come first both physically and mentally. I think Judy probably already knew she was going quit soon.

I think Ben and Maggie are the best written Mother and Father couple in a long time. Both have their personalities other then being typical one dimensional parent characters like Joel & Natalie and Rhys & Shelley. Both have had their own storylines outside of the family with Maggie's cancer and Ben in trouble with the law. I don’t think Shelley or Natalie had there own storyline that didn’t involved family other then their exit storyline and Natalie did have belief thing about rumours of an affair between her and Jesse which turned out to be rubbish.

I think Dean is better suited for Ziggy and actually I think Dean is more mature than Brody as Dean lot stronger in not giving in to things. As Brody will always be easily lead look at when he got hooked into drugs and got married when he clearly was never 100% committed . Sure Dean might have his faults. But Dean is far more up front with things and can say no to people better.

There was a strong rumour in 2008 that Floss was returning as a regular. Can anyone shed any light on this or was it just a false rumour?. Floss ended up only returning for two episodes in 2008.
