  1. Tane and Archie, love it so sue me! Their scene with Mac was cute! I don't blame him for for warning Eliza off at all. The behaviour is unacceptable anyway, you don't film without someone's permission ever, least of all at that moment, I know some people do video births but that would be family not a random and also not in a situation like that one. Harper is such a whiny brat right now, I'd honestly bet that even if she was freaked out by Eliza's vid because Tane's been, quite rightly, concerned, she'd be all over Eliza just to be spiteful. I'm wondering if Eliza has an actual condition like either schizophrenia or even (I know it's not called this anymore but I cannot remember the modern name) Aspergers, given her obsessiveness and lack of social skills, all markers or Munchausen's by proxy even.
  2. Several moments today I think were akin to Psycho, could almost hear the shower strings! It's probably just me but I've noticed both in H&A and other progs Hush Little Baby is often used more than any other music box lullaby in sinister scenes, obviously to highlight the contrast of innocent beginnings to the darker now. It's an excellent piece of musical imagery...but might put you singing lullabies for life!
  3. Deeply disturbed is right, she needs specialist care maybe in a clinic but specialist fostering really; there are people who do the ultra problematic cases it's true. Roo strikes me as she would be better with say a temporarily displaced or even one who's ended up in care because of trauncy for dyslexia style as she is a good teacher.
  4. Dana's drunk scene with Tane was hilarious...she was right about him though and, perhaps because of his own brief issue he sees the warning signs with Eliza.
  5. Abby, Harper and Eliza most definitely! "If he's making a racket he's alive' Another classic from Dean. Weirdly enough, I'd have felt safer and more confident with Dean doing the saving in a weird way as he knows how the criminal mind works, twisted yes but helpful here most definitely. Ziggy sort of faking feeling sick reminded me of when Tane was stabbed and she and Dean went to 'borrow' supplies at NDH and she went into major stomach cramps .. Dr: What's the pain like? Ziggy: Painful! Oh Theo, you silly boy, thinking with your trouser brain again!
  6. Put this in tags just in case but...
  7. I know it's probably been noted before but John's folder with AJP Celebrant in big elaborate gold letters...real subtle, but so him!
  8. Felt really sorry for Kirby through this, Mali has been great with her; though Kirby has always been a strong character but never seen much under it, if you like and sadly, the attitudes to non-whites you know she would've seen but brushed it off because it's easier not to make waves but it doesn't mean perhaps she hadn't been subconciously affected by it and sadly, being attacked in this way, it's brought it to the fore. Even though Mali had everything changed and cancelled the Open Day it's sadly only a sticking plaster.
  9. Always love these extra tidbits, Dan, knew about the demolishment but not the rest.
  10. RR1, Ziggy did have a kid ultimately so could've been in the running; I mean I think he was looking to make a secure base, try to make a family unit again and Flick was not a candidate for security per se as in she never wanted to do mummy/wife stuff as in domesticated as such and she didn't really understand his version of family as in big because, sadly, she didn't have one whereas I suppose I look at Harper's background and she seems to have sought security in her job by trying to give others what she never had, in that subject they bear a similiar mindset I suppose. Nothing wrong in domestication or gregariousness, each have their merit.
  11. I know itis purely coincidence but noticed Tim's surname was Russell and he does bear a resemblence to Dylan...don't tell me we've got another long lost child of Angie's in the bay...though his lack of morals might be a clu, haha!
  12. No agree entirely, the 'hehe' was rather a laughing comment on the 'only in soaps' from previous poster, in my own family unit we've seen some fast movers but our neighbour topped it by actually getting engaged while her husband was dying, truth is stranger than fiction, it really is sometimes. In contrast my Nan lost my Grandad nearly 41 years ago and she's always said there would never be anyone but him. I think, oddly, had Tane met Harper if not first but certainly before he dug deep with Flick he may have chosen the former, he seemed to change alot of losing Ari, grief does that. Oh Cash, Cash you really are not coming off well here trying to make heartbreak sound noble but kind of becoming stalkerish now. Equally do not blame Abigail for tearing Eden off a strip...though I think one would most definitely have to question Tim's ethics too.
  13. Happens in real life too, hehe!
  14. You have excellent taste in blunder movement!
  15. I get that Bree doesn't want to tell but I also get Roo's point of view too; yes, Bree has the tool but, as we all know, mental health doesn't run like a phsyical illness, she has every chance of having another meltdown, equally not but then again, any patient has the right to trust their doctor as much as possible, so the patients probably should have the right if they would want someone with those kinds of issues to treat them as the patient's consequnce would likely as not be more dire than the doctor's. Oh Dana, you silly girl, I believe the teen's say 'check yourself before you wreck yourself' and she should've done that. Her 'aw John, I've said sorry' is typical of 'I can hurt your feelings but you're not allowed to hurt mine 'cause I can't cope' attitude you see alot these days. John cut her shifts because she asked, why would he give her more responsibility at the moment anyways? I thought the tai'aha scene was good, a nice sign of the ancestry being passed on, I know we don't know if Perri has any uncles but Tane doing it is fair enough, as I think it's only done by men traditionally but equally the contrast of Kaia's convo with Harper, the two sides of Perri's side in one moment. I loved the goodbye scene too, with the sweetness of the shared kinship in the hongi but the ultra brotherly tussle, just perfect for them and awww to Perri leaving the basketball for Baby.
