I like Brendan. It is good to have a character on the show that is disabled. It shows the day to day struggles of families what they have to cope with. Brendan's obsession with Blue cars. There could be some reason for that.

I like Hugo as well. He does treat Xavier UN fairly. Hugo needs to pull his weight more. I think that Hugo is up to some thing. Personally i think that he may know something about the guy on the Island. Could it be that Jack is alive some where and Hugo was asked to come and look after her by Jack?

Xavier i am starting to warm to. His love for Brendan is over whelming. He is trying to do his best. What with school, helping Martha and caring for Brendan it is a wonder that he doesn't have a melt down.
