Well that was a bit of a faff. Had there been any warning? There was Cash thinking he was doing the right thing by arresting both daughters following David's orders to go by the book but still got blasted by him, I'm guessing Cash found out Jo was David's other daughter and not a random woman when he took her name at the scene. David did kind of back down, but still bent his own rules. Not making excuses but any cop would have that double standard problem when it's family. I can't see David covering up something really bad, don't forget Jo and Lacey didn't just lose their mum David lost his wife in that accident. We did find out more about what happened from Jo's flashbacks and her talk with dad. Cops did the right thing it seems, did a BT and Drugs test on her, checked if there were skids marks indicating she'd swerved to avoid something. She does claim she can't remember anything but maybe she had blacked out for some reason - an undiagnosed illness like epilepsy. A lot of people on the H&A FB pages hate them, but I think there is a lot more to them. I wonder if maybe Jo had been away form home and only just returned six months ago which prompted Lacey to leave. I liked the fact Lacey opened up to Cash, she grew to trust and like him when under his care. Does she really think her dad would cover up for Jo or still hurting from her mum's death and not properly grieved. The one I'm definitely NOT liking is Avalon, she just casually walks up to Kirby and lets her think Remi is working on her album as in producing not as we all know playing on it. Remi's not exactly 'cheating' on Kirby but as Justin pointed out he can't give her 100% as he's stretching himself too far. Justin, of course, also got it in the neck as he knew what Remi was doing and didn't say anything. She is a wind up merchant and it looks like she may be leading him down the wrong path - DON'T GO THERE REMI. It does seem Mali is having a tough time, Alf was a lot more easier on him than John was - btw I like how John very wisely stepped away when I think it was Jo and Lacey when they were having their spat. Mali had been very happy just making and shaping his boards which he then sold onto Dean and before him Ben. It was his choice to move to the bay and break away from his family to be independent and was able to sell his boards direct to the public and take orders for new ones, but over time things have overtaken his original business, maybe he's missing it?

Leah recovered her near blunder at the coffee cart when she said to David, I've met Lacey by saying she'd been in the Diner. Irene wisely kept her mouth shut. Then doing the same when she met Jo. Leah was again showing her good side when she spoke to Lacey after asking Theo to leave them alone to talk so is keeping Lacey's secret and she did warn her she'd met her sister. Then later, of course they did meet and didn't have the warmest of reunions. That is going to be a very interesting backstory, it explained why David forgave the driver. It seemed from what we saw, there had been a crash, Jo was driving, mum got killed, but wouldn't the cops who were first on scene done a BT on Jo. Jo 'says' she doesn't remember what happened. David will be getting a real shock when Cash brings in both his daughters under arrest for affray OK he doesn't yet know Jo is David's daughter. It certainly seems to have festered for Lacey, has Jo been away from home wherever that is. David has met three of the Bay's stalwarts then - Alf, Leah and Irene, only John and Marilyn to go. Both Alf and Irene seemed to think he was a good guy, Leah, of course, knows his other side. I do get the feeling Alf and David will be clashing at some point. Love to see David and John meeting. May seem a silly question but how far away is Yabbie Creek from the bay, did he really drive there just to get a cup of coffee? With Cash, it's kind of his beat so he would be there more. I'm supposing David and Jo had agreed to meet up in the bay at some time which was why she was heading there, only for her to break down. Yes, Jo is a good looking woman but I like to think Tane would stop and help even if it had been a man or older woman. He wasn't invading her personal space, just asking if he could help, he kindly offered the use of his First aid kit but backed off when she insisted she was OK. Her ranting at her car was funny but at least she didn't grab a branch off the nearest tree and give it a good thrashing. She was also muttering to herself about "Yeh, yeh I know I should keep my phone on charge". 'Talking' to dad' obviously as it sounded like the kind of thing he'd drum into both his girls. I thought it was where Jo left it and was it the next day? Jo did mention it was the fan belt and the bonnet had been left open and it wasn't going anywhere was it. After sending him away with a flea in his ear, David did have to grudgingly admit Tane had done a good job. OK I wouldn't know how to put one on but it's not rocket science. Anyone remember the good old days when it could be fixed by using a pair of tights or going even further back a stocking. Completely off topic but I did like Jo's jacket/blouse. Lacey it seems is finding it tough working at Reefton Park and Leah has re-offered that she can work at the Diner but if dad is likely to be popping in it would be tricky. Theo has offered to give her some money when he sells his car, which he had been thinking of since he got it back. He loved the car, but it was used to nearly kill him. She rightly refused saying she wants to be independent - , but then he offered it as a loan once he'd paid off the money he owes. He should get a god price, it hadn't been driven that much and there was no damage done to it. Cash, for some reason can't catch a break with David, he does seem the kind of cop who keeps his private life completely separate from his cop life. Though saying that Eden suddenly breezing to whine about her problems wouldn't have gone down well with any new sargeant. All those who at present who do that will have to be told to stop. They have let things slip that way, folks just dropping in, dropping lunch off, wanting to have a chat, mainly it has to be said to Cash - It is a cop shop. That road trip of Eden and Abby's will be an interesting one. Will Eden be abandoned at the roadside? Do have to say, going back an episode, Eden chucking all of Jimmy's Birthday presents to Abby in the bin was NOT on, so good for Abby getting them back out again. Eden does need to hear it from Debra in person that she has forgiven Jimmy. Mali's taking on surfing lessons did take over his first business, he was too good at it.
-
I think I know why Eden is so anti dad, she was a daddy's girl, as happens in families, she was closer to him than she was with mum, perhaps they did a lot of things together and that is why his betrayal hit her so hard. We will have to see how Abby's challenge goes down. Eden and Abby's exchanges were fun. One thing sorted, two to go, the date of actual Wedding and who Cash's Best Man will be - Tane? Finally Dana and Sonny admitted they do like each other more than friends - but then we and everyone else knew that anyway. Sonny fessed up he'd told Theo who'd guessed anyway. His "I'm a daddy of twins boys and they are coming to live with me" was funny, they both will have had pasts - will Dana tell him about Olly? the fact there was a lack of coffee, milk at Bree's so Sonny and Dana had to go out to get one. Guessing Bree is otherwise occupied to top up Mother Hubbard's cupboard/fridge. to Leah keeping her mouth shut about who Lacey's dad was, quickly catching on Lacey hadn't yet confided in Theo. She did repeat her offer of a job at the Diner, but said it wasn't so she could keep an eye on her. at her saying she wasn't stalking Theo when they bumped into each other at the gym, it really was a coincidence. She's learning. Has it really been three months since the aborted Wedding? I remember Tane booking that period of time so Harper would have recovered from the birth and Archie would be old enough to join them in Japan. Although presently he and Harper are doing fine co-parenting, they haven't spent that much time together, Tane goes back to his place and Harper goes back to Irene's, but in Japan it'll be completely different, they'll be together 24/7 and in a foreign country so no escape. She did chicken out of telling him she still loved him and was hoping the time away would change his mind/heart. He's innocently thinking it would a great time and he wouldn't be missing Archie while he's away. He does care for Harper, he booked Japan as she had said it was somewhere she'd love to go. A mystery - or not - woman having a right set to with Lacey which Cash has to break up.
-
Not really making excuses for Harper overreacting over Dana's being with Sonny but like any parent does when their son/daughter is in what they think is a bad relationship that is what they do even if said children are adults, Harper was 'mum' to Dana. Look at Leah, she is a surrogate mum to Theo. Harper and Sonny's chance meeting in the Diner started off OK, she even suggested him buying Dana a blueberry muffin as it's her favourite but then she went and spoilt it asking again what his intentions were, so Irene had to shut her down. Has Maz had much contact with Sonny, as she's pretty good at sussing out people? Sonny hearing about Harper's problems with Tane was pretty astute as that is why she could be so against them and yes it was a gentle kicking out, it did show he does care. I don't think Harper has had any other guys after her break up with her fiance so Tane would have been the first she was serious about. Levi, naturally, had his doctors head on when Mac was panicking about not being pregnant yet, he was seeing it from a medical perspective and no blame to him he couldn't expect to be able to see it from a woman's point of view. He did have a much better idea of getting pregnant than relying on ovulation kits. They do tend to take the fun out off it and as he said, they can't be that reliable as every woman is different . You could be as regular as clockwork down to the hour for some, but others may be a day early one month and a day late the next. Mac has only just come of the pill so that would mess with your body. Yeh I know some women get pregnant right away but others don't. Oops Justin has been asked to keep a secret. No way can Remi keep working two jobs for long, working with Kirby during the day and playing on Avalon's album at night. I'm guessing that Bree is working and that is why we haven't seen her as she'd certainly notice he's knackered and would soon get the truth out of him. Theo, so far, has been obeying Tane's rules with his exercises but he's missing the surf so well done to you Justin. He certainly wasn't fooled by Sonny's insistence he and Dana are just friends. Btw does Bree know Dana is staying over? Brief mention of Lacey, she's got a part time job at Reefton Lakes, so keeping out of dad's way.
-
Sonny and Dana didn't fool me either, or indeed themselves, but give them 10 out 10 for at least trying. They will need to eat something to keep their strength up with all that exercise they are indulging in. Maybe Dana didn't hear Harper knock on the door and he didn't say "oh hello Harper". I do get Harper is concerned over Dana and maybe acting in mum mode seeing as she was likely more of a mum than theirs was. We still don't know that much about their early life but from what has been inferred it was a good one. Harper once again said Dana always picked the wrong guys, was she including Xander in that? OK he was a good gut but he did dump her. At the end Harper was really going OTT and from what we saw in the trailer/promo she's definitely peed Dana off. Sonny wasn't helping himself by giving those vague answers to Harper's questions. Did chuckle at the "What are your intentions? one. Though there is a history of big brothers/sisters/mums/dads asking that about little sis's/brother's/kid's new boyfriend/girlfriend and the promise of if you hurt her/him you'll regret it. I'll put Mac's intervention with Mali and his hiding his gift to Abby and her revealing what it was down to her mind being preoccupied about her fertility results. The answer as to whether she should have came in the look on Abby's face when she saw it. Then her reply to Mali "Why don't you swop it for the one you were going to give me?" said it all. I knew she'd love it which showed to me at least she's not as materialistic like some think she is. Shame that doc wasn't talking English when she told Mac and Levi what the results were. Yes I know he'd know what she was talking about but it was left for Mac to tell us that there was no reason why she shouldn't get pregnant. But they haven't been properly trying for that long and it is well known that tension can prevent you falling pregnant. There is a reason, I believe about the comment about Irene's watch but . I did love them teasing John about his idea of what a present was - a bunch of . Maz has been there so would know. Has Maz met Sonny as I'm sure he'd be able to charm her.
-
I thought like you did Red, Abby getting over excited about her birthday because the last time she and the Fowler three had celebrated it together was ten years ago. Didn't mention what age she was but I have this feeling it may be her 22nd/23rd? Seems she did escape Mum's clutches and she did get a call which she shut down pretty quickly and a text message from dad. She was also celebrating the fact she had got herself together. How could Eden forget her little sister's Birthday? Both Mac and Levi were teasing Abby by letting her think all she was getting from them was a key ring, but then showed her the car so naturally the keys to it would go with said key ring. Levi was a bit wicked there letting her think she was paying for half/quarter of that car. I suppose seeing that car would make anyone feel inadequate and make you feel you couldn't possibly match up to it. It was beautiful - Mac saw how he felt about it but Abby will love it, it was designed with love and it'll last a lot longer than the car. Hope Mac makes him see sense. Did laugh when John said "You can't leave it there". Oh another free spread Mac has laid on. Another change of mind from Eden about recording with Kirby, her seeing the old video's of Lyrik playing at Flick and Tane's Engagement party brought back a lot of memories. Her and Kirby's voices work well together and it does mean Kirby won't have to break someone new in. Avalon didn't like being usurped. Remi and Kirby were good about letting Eden go off to Abby's party, they knew Abby so knew how much it meant to her. Got some more info about why Avalon was so keen for Remi playing with her - music wise of course - she hadn't released an album for some time and as she said a year is ages in the music world. But, call me ignorant, an album isn't something you knock out every couple of months is it? You have to compile them, decide what you want to put on it, the arrangement of the songs etc. Remi was acting shifty for no reason, though I can se he wouldn't want to tell Kirby he's maybe playing on Avalon's album knowing how she feels about her, but he's not producing it so not as if he's cheating on her. Mac and Levi got the call they were waiting for about the fertility results but I can see Mac's reasoning that maybe she doesn't want to know.

David does seem to care about Lacey but being the old school guy he seems to be portrayed as is can't express it the right way. He did after tearing a strip or six off Cash did acknowledge he was in the wrong and thanked him and the rest of the Yabbie Creek - I hope - for looking after her. Cash also saying to David Lacey had been a great asset to them bringing down the current RB's. To be fair and we know Cash hasn't always played by the rules, letting his heart rule his head in certain cases, but when he plays by the rules he is a good cop. So him being assigned to traffic duty may make him think. That was an amusing interaction between Tane and Cash, dare say they will get over it. David hadn't met Tane had he so wouldn't know he's not easily put off. We and Leah if no-on else did find out more about Lacey's history with her dad. Intriguing why David didn't blame the driver of the cat that killed her mum. Lacey didn't take up Leah's advice and has kept silent but Theo knows something isn't right. Is she staying then? Not quite the same as it was with Theo's dad but her would understand if she told him. She did agree to meet David at Salt but didn't stay just long enough to tell him not to bother her. Do they not have any eateries in Yabbie Creek? In fact do they have anything else apart from the cop shop? Did notice Theo was back 'home' again having dinner with Leah, Justin and Lacey. That probably slipped Eden's mind about Levi just happening to be called on to help her friend. It is amazing how many coincidences happen in the bay. But hey it's a small town not a city. I'm not a doom and gloomer - Heaven forbid - but I see trouble coming with Theo and his training with Tane, Tane will be a good instructor and will make sure Theo follows the rules, it'll be his rep and licence on the line if anything happens to Theo. But as he said he wants to push himself and get fit again so he may be well doing more on his own away from Tane. Now Avalon I don't like, she seems very pushy, just walking into Remi and Kirby's recording session. Is she jealous of Kirby having her 'own' producer? What was she looking for when Remi and Kirby came back in the next day, seemingly another place that doesn't lock doors. She seems, to me at least, to want to cause trouble. I did love seeing Remi play, he was really letting himself go for it. Avalon did make a rather, again maybe just down to me, snide remark about why was he wasting his talent being a producer. No-one forced him to be a producer, it was his idea and it was to help a friend. Wonder if she knows about his windfall? Eden was keen initially about being Kirby's backing singer and was touched Kirby thought of her but then had second thoughts and she was honest as to why she couldn't do it.

Until we know Lacey's and Langham's back story and why they are estranged I think we should reserve judgement. People do grieve in different ways, him being dad, head of the household felt he had to take 'control'. Maybe he threw himself into work, as guys tend to do, to work through it and neglected his daughters when Lacey felt he should be at home with them. it is only two years so still raw. All we know, from what she told Theo it was an accident We got quite a bit of info with those exchanges, how he'd been looking for her and how she didn't want to be found hence change of name and she blames him for something- her mum's death, how he handled it, the mention of her sister. We don't know he's corrupt yet, just a gruff no nonsense cop. He did con Cash into bringing Lacey back to Yabbie Creek though but I guess it must have been a shock for him seeing his daughter's face in the RB's file and that she is calling herself Miller - her mum's maiden name as it turned out and finding out she was the girlfriend of the head RB. That reunion certainly wasn't a happy one. I'm glad after her initial blasting Cash she apologised realising he wasn't to blame. We do know how Lacey knew to leave her mobile in the truck so she did listen to him sometimes. I'm guessing, as not knowing the law about legally changing your surname is in Australia is, she'd have to be over 18 at least. It's apparent he's not a local and did he ask to be moved to a small town cop shop or was he 'advised' to? If he had been stationed anywhere near Yabbie Creek or the bay he would know the RB's not just what he's read about them which is a whole different matter. Be very interesting to see how he gets on with the SB residents, Alf, John, Irene and co. Cash did know new boss was coming that day then but he wasn't late maybe Langham is a stickler for the rules and expects 'his' staff to be there before him. He certainly came down hard on Cash, digging up his past demeanours, being suspended, being cleared and him leaving the force, then coming back again. Then he brought up him 'taking' a civilian aka Tane to a crime scene. As I said earlier what was Cash supposed to do, sit there arguing with Tane whilst wasting time rescuing Theo and Sonny. I spotted Langham was very good at twisting people's words like he did with Tane, guess he'll be looking at his record. Leah defo going into empty nest syndrome overload there, busying herself by cleaning the house to keep her mind occupied. Justin did suggest one way her mind could be taken off Theo having gone but that fell flat so to speak. Anyways the way Theo just calmly walked in later may have scuppered it as of course the door wouldn't have been locked. Before you say it I know Theo isn't her child and he hasn't gone off to collage/uni, he's still in the bay, but she's acting the same way as any mum would. Justin, jokingly saying at least they will be saving on grocery bills. Daft question but will Theo be bringing his washing home for Leah to do or will he expect Bree to do it? Theo did just walk in and help himself to the food out of the fridge. Justin was a clever getting Leah to be his gaming buddy, didn't go quite as he planned it though - she beat him and Theo saw it. Seems from what we saw in the trailer/promo Lacey is leaving town and from what we heard Leah was giving advice, not laying the law down by suggesting to Lacey that if she feels she really can't stay now her dad has turned up so she has to leave she should tell Theo and not just run off. Theo deserves to know what the story is and why.
-
It was good to see the Leah we like back. I suppose Theo was defending his girlfriend which is a good thing to see. The meal started off a tad frosty with Justin trying to attempt small talk and mostly failing. It wasn't until Lacey decided it wasn't working and saying she should go that prompted Leah to apologise that things properly thawed. Leah and Lacey even bonded enough to joke about making up a doggy bag for Sonny. Must be another continental thing that Leah made enough food to feed an army. Leah giving Lacey a job at the Diner wouldn't be a good idea, to me it had an ulterior motive, she could interrogate - sorry gently question Lacey about her home life or threaten to hold her head under the deep fat frier if she refused to answer. A clue/hint there about Lacey's dad and how she knew leave her phone behind so it could be tracked when asked by Leah. She said he was into cop dramas. Lacey hasn't revealed much about her background, guess she and Theo haven't had that much time to go into it and I'm guessing Gage would care. All she told Leah and Theo was her mum was dead and she dies in an accident. We did see that photo and we know who the new sargeant is and who else he is. He didn't give Cash the best welcome, did Cash even know he was turning up that day? He was tearing Cash off strip because of him 'taking' Tane along when he busted the RB's. He didn't have much of a choice, Tane jumped in the car and told him he wasn't going alone, was Cash supposed to sit there and argue with him? One thing we don't know how old Lacey is do we about the same age as Theo do we think - younger? Leah acknowledging Theo has finally left home, empty nest syndrome kicking in. Like a lot of parents whinging on about how the kid(s) are always about, eating them out of house and home but when they do go, they miss them. Doesn't seem Theo has been with them for four years. That is our Maz for you wanting to see couples together, she's seen how Dana and Sonny are with each other - so what if it isn't long term - let them enjoy each other for as long as they are. As much as we love Irene she can be on the downside of people, but let's not forget she did get it so badly wrong with Bronte who she thought she knew. Irene is just going by Harpers biased opinion of Sonny. It was a total coincidence Sonny walking into Salt when Dana and Harper where there, it is a restaurant/bar so anyone can walk in. What's he supposed to do check with Harper/Dana to find out here they are so he doesn't turn up at the same place. It's a small town so of course it'll happen. I do remember when Maggie and Ben split up she told him exactly that so they didn't run into each other. Anyways apart from that abortive talk on the balcony Sonny and Dana did get to talk and a lot, lot more besides. They did have to tone it down when Theo and Lacey came home though. That was so when Sonny and Dana came up to the coffee cart, got busted so just shook hands and said 'see you later'. Harper's face said it all. How would either Irene or Harper know Dana hadn't come home?
-
Well Archie was a lot more grown up than Leah, at least he wasn't throwing a tantrum and chucking his toys out of his buggy. The diners in the Diner had a right eye/earful with her shouting at Bree, that news will be going round the bay in five minutes flat, hardly good for business I would have thought. Shame Irene wasn't there to shut her down. Bree handled it very well, just calmly told her that is how it was and walked out. I did have to at Alf saying "Don't mention the war", so deadpan. Finally Justin took a stand and told Leah how it was and that she'd lose Theo for good if she didn't back his decision to be at Bree's. He may have come across as a wimp but he does have to live with her and didn't want more hassle than needed. A very tentative conversation between Theo and Leah, her invitation to dinner at hers and Justin's then Theo dropping the bombshell only if Lacey is invited. Bree does seem to have lost her personal space now both Theo and Sonny have decided to stay and mayhap Lacey? Wondered where she was. How are they going to pay for rent/food, I don't know if Justin is paying Theo while he's off sick, Sonny doesn't have a job nor does Lacey. Love how Bree handles Sonny and threatening that'd he'd been out of there so fast his head would spin if he didn't stop nicking 'her' food. Justin had another problem to deal with a sin Remi/Kirby which he wasn't aware of but he had had other things on his mind. Give Sonny a / for getting Remi and Kirby together so they could talk - again. They did seem to be going round and round in circles, her worried about Remi spending his money but as he said it's his money so he can spend how he wants. She like him were both independent and didn't like taking handouts so alike in that respect. But now he can afford to, he knows what Kirby is capable of a new producer wouldn't, and they would need to be broken in. Plus of course as he said he wouldn't be out of pocket should it be a hit. He's paying her back from when she supported him back in the day. Funny now that had got settled how Remi, Bree and Kirby ganged up on Sonny to go and see Dana as it was so obvious he really likes her. He was acting like a teenager approaching the girl he had a crush on to ask her for a date. Archie was all happy and smiling before but as soon as Sonny leaned over him he went all glum so a good touch of clever camerawork there. clever camerawork there. Not sure if Dana was trying to convince Harper she was over Sonny or herself, but as we saw they do get together.
-
I could see it from Kirby's point of view, she has always been independent and Remi being a friend, an old friend, paying for everything would make her feel awkward about the money he's spending by going over and over the recordings. Another thing when they recorded as Lyrik they were working together as friends towards the same goal, but now he's got his producer hat on so coming at it from a different prospective. A new producer wouldn't be as involved emotionally. Bree could see it from an entirely different angle, listening to it as a 'normal' person would and was able to talk sense into both of them. She did resist banging their heads together. I'd forgotten Remi had paid off her uni debt. Bree shouldn't have been that surprised her place was a mess, there had been two guys living in it even if it was just a short time. when she said she was leaving it. Was it just me or did it look tidier later which would have meant Kirby cleaned up? Some big decisions for Levi, but mostly Mac, to make as to whether they should have fertility tests. It may seemed vague what Liz Shaw said but she's right it does come down to individual cases, Mac does have one fallopian tube so not impossible for her to get pregnant. Another thing about Levi not knowing she'd lost one but wouldn't he have seen the scar when he examined her before her op? I can see why Mac is scared it could be bad news but Levi was wearing his doctors head by saying the sooner they find out the sooner they can sort out where to go next. Love the 'they' btw. Levi thought he and Mac were coming home and just having a quite evening - well that plan went out of the window didn't it? He was playing referee with Abby and Mali debating arguing about her - or rather Deb's - decision about her going home so Deb could 'look' after her. Mali, obvs, was more hurt, confused why she felt she couldn't talk to him about it before she went. Levi did his own intervention on why she should stay. He's seen how far she's come, yes OK she's had back up from Levi, Mac and Mali but a lot of it she did by herself. Deb, from what I could gather was doing a real job on Abbey, making her doubt herself and that she needed mum to look after her and make all the decisions. If she had doubts, which she did, she made the right choice to stay. Mali got it because he's the youngest too and his family weren't happy when he moved to the bay and started up on his own. Abby did make a relevant point her living with her brother, his girlfriend and her own boyfriend isn't good either. Will we be seeing Mali and Abby moving into a van at the caravan park? They are both earning and it'd be nearer to the Surf Club where they both work so less reliant on Levi or Mac for lifts. As we saw Leah is back today and she is NOT happy. Theo read my mind about staying at Bree's - no mention of Lacey though. That was brief appearance by Alf.
-
I suppose as they are new opening titles Lacey would be easily spotted. Bit naughty of Cash teasing John like he did, of course they would choose him. Come on, stop keeping us in suspenders give us a date for the Wedding. Eden said exactly what I did that if it had been Cash informing Jimmy about the engagement it would have been the shortest engagement in SB's history. Seems we were both right about Deb spilling the beans about Eden. If Deb can 'forgive' Jimmy why can't Eden. We don't know what when on in their marriage and parents do hide things from their kids. It happened apparently during their crisis meeting over Abbey. Probably along the lines of what shall we do about her? Deb does seem to be overpowering from what Abbey was saying and it has knocked her new found confidence. She is the youngest and maybe Deb took all her frustrations out on her after Eden left and that she had to be a good girl. Was she really just really going to leave town without telling Mali? Was she going back to mum or taking off somewhere else? Bit of a triple whammy for Levi finding out about Mac's ectopic pregnancy resulting in her having one of her fallopian tubes removed and that the father was Tane's brother. I did question before why wouldn't he have seen that when he looked at her medical records when he did the op on her for her heart. Guess it wouldn't be easy to tell the guy you're hoping to have children with that apart from having a heart condition there is something else, a BIG something else. It did show though that some secrets in the bay can be kept. One good thing to come out of yesterday's episode - no Leah.

The RB's thought Cash was hiding Lacey somewhere else, not the cop shop, so he was cocking a snook at them by leading them back and forth to the very place he was hiding her. Just my thought but perhaps the RB's were expecting Gage to get off, as they thought Lacey wouldn't be giving evidence, so they would let Sonny and Theo go with one more threat not to cross them again. Then the news got back to them Lacey did give evidence which resulted in Gage going down so that was his Plan B. It did get sorted pretty sharpish when Cash and Tane turned up. Petty flukey Sonny finding Lacey's phone, if he hadn't gone to dig out that blanket to stem Theo's bleed he wouldn't have found it. Even the most latest smart phones have their limits, battery was low and he had to find a location where he could get a signal. Glad he went back to Theo but quietly ditched the phone so Cash and Tane could still, hopefully, track them which of course they did. They did cave in pretty quick, Tane really showed his tough side, that wasn't what they were expecting. Sonny is more of a lover than a fighter isn't he. Does YC cop shop have enough cells to park them in? It was good to hear 'Bill' and 'Ben' were OK. Wonder how long it will be until the next lot reassemble. The last lot with Rory was only last year. Slight bit of humour when Cash when he was hoping to recruit Tane into becoming a cop and Tane saying "blue isn't my colour". Wtf was Leah hoping for when she verbally attacked Lacey, yes I know she's NOT her favourite person, but even when Cash told her it was her evidence that has put Gage away it didn't placate her, Lacey was still the one who put Theo in danger. She didn't take kindly to be ordered out of the station but it was funny. Then of course she turns up again when Theo and Sonny were brought it and immediately dashes over to hug Theo who just rejected her in favour of Lacey. I do have to say Ada is playing a blinder making us hate Leah so much. I'm guessing now the danger is over, Sonny will go back to Remi's but what about Theo, will he stay at Bree's with Lacey until they find somewhere else and how will they pay for it? Harper, as far as I am aware hasn't had a serious relationship since she's been in the bay has she? To be fair Tane has been doing a good job with Archie so no surprise Harper is seeing him as a hero. Maybe it was something Tane said to Dana that made her have a change of heart over Sonny. I hope they do get back together as I think they would be a good couple. I had the same thought it may have been Deb who let Jimmy know about Eden's engagement, for all we know she forgave him years ago and is in contact with him. Poor Levi, this time he was innocent. Was surprised it was Cash, he knows how Eden feels abut her dad and to go behind her back was taking a mighty risk. Cash is as was said is quite a traditionalist but could this be the shortest engagement in the history of SB? I think we can take it as read Theo was taken back to the hospital.

Well it wouldn't have been so dramatic then would it? I got the feeling the plan was to just stop Sonny and Theo getting to court so they couldn't give evidence meaning I guess either Gage would be put back in remand or let go. The RB's didn't expect Lacey to be there and very cunning of her to leave her phone in the car so it could be tracked. Now she's going to give evidence after all, if Cash can get it sorted in time, that'll throw Cage's plan into disarray. Anyways, Sonny has come good by being there for Theo, getting his meds for him, saying they should limit what they drink as they don't know how long they'd be there. But then we saw Theo telling Sonny to go off to get a better signal to get help. Oh hope 'Bill' and 'Ben' are OK, they were rather outnumbered. Cash did say Lacey and Dana were found on the road to Reefton Lakes. Lacey had more to her than Dana by suggesting they get moving so hopefully stop someone on the road. It did appear Leah had wanted to go to court but Justin put his foot down on that one, but of course she is now panicking about him going missing. Tane may have hung out with some dodgy characters in the past - the guys who had hid stolen drugs in the van Tane was hiding at the garage for one which got complicated, but ironically it was two old RB's who helped him out of that one. But he's grown up now, got himself settled. Cash didn't get the calm return to the job after the Engagement break he was expecting, flung straight into hunting for Sonny, Theo, Dana and Lacey. Cash, due to him being called out on more serious matters, did rather leave Eden in the lurch with John playing his celebrant role but it went well, him asking after Gary. Shame we only saw him in that one episode and in a flashback. Are they going to have a long engagement do we think, we haven't had a Wedding since Leah and Justin's. John very discreetly left the scene when the news broke about Sonny and Theo going missing.
