It's as follows: Mr. Lincoln Lewis Home + Away C/O Channel 7 PO Box 777 Pyrmont NSW 2009 Australia Good luck witha reply, I sent him a letter in October and never received a reply.

I can't see the reasoning behind Kerry's behaviour either, elthough I do understand why she won't leave him because it's obvious that since she only seems to hang around the house as a house-wife, she must be financially dependant on him. It was awful to hear Kerry say things to Sandra like "I'll cover for you" about her going to Steven's birthday meal, it's just such an awful situation. I wasn't very keen on Steven's earlier episodes, and the actress that plays Sandra isn't brilliant, but I think Adam Willits has really come into his own now and is actually quite an impressive actor. However I would have liked to have seen a little more emotion from him when he was talkikng about his parents burning to death in a fire. I like that we've got to know a bit more about his backstory. The message that the stalker left for the Fletchers was really quite haunting and scary, but I couldn't work out what was being said most of the time.

Someone is selling a collection of 15 H and A fan cards on ebay for £95 while another person is selling 30 for £83! What a joke!
-
So "Alf" is actually a cuddly toy? Alf Stewart doesn't appear in the credits twice then?
-
Oh I definately wouldn't buy hand-signed ones, I guess you mean ones that have been presonalised to other people? I really don't understand the logic in that. I wouldn't say no to buying pre-printed autographed cards from Ebay but the thing is I really don't agree with people selling their fancards; if you look at Ebay people sell about 20 fan cards at a time and I just think these people have obviously obtained these fancards just with the intention to sell them on and that seems like a shame when you think the actors/helpdesk send you these cards as a gift. :/

I have to admit, I haven't exactly been enthralled by this block of episodes. I don't know why, but the story with Barlow just isn't ringing true to me, and I think that's why I haven't found them that great. The way he went into the Fletcher house and asked for a cup of tea, then shock horror broke Tom's mug, it didn't seem that threatening and those scenes just seemed to last far too long. However, there have been a few things to enjoy, like Lance and Martin for example. I do wish however that Sandra would go to the cops about her father, I hate that her and her mother are doing nothing about it.

That's brill! Do you have any scans? I'm wondering whether to buy unpersonalised cards on ebay or not?! The reason I'm not sure is that I love writing to the helpdesk asking for cards because then you get a surprise as to which cards they send back, but if I buy from ebay I'll have a much more complete collection... :/

Do you have scans by any chance? I love seeing the various replies! You can write to Kate via the following address: Kate Ritchie Freehand Productions Pty Ltd. Level 6 431 Glebe Point Road Glebe NSW 2037 Australia Which fan cards do you have?

Lol, luckily my dad has paid for all my fan cards to be framed Yeah, you are right, I have to be careful not to let the sun on them...Don't have to worry about that problem at the moment though Thanks, the Neighbours ones are cool, but I have to admit, I am a lot more proud of my HandA fan cards because they're personal replies, and I just think the cards are a lot better really both artistically and size-wise.
-
Thanks Dan! Shame there's no news though!

Your fancards always look so lovely the way that you frame them, Ed. Do you frame them yourself or get them done professionally? That's lucky that you got a reply from the helpdesk, Jamie! I get them framed professionally. It cost me £25 to get that lone fan card done, it's quite expensive! Thing is I don't want them to ever come out of the frame so it's more so that I can keep them all in good condition. I want to get my Ray one framed with the message but I'm getting a bit carried away now!

I take it you're being sarcastic? It wasn't the most cheery eppy but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I have to admit I didn't realise the earlyyears of Home and Away were quite as dark as this. They're covering a lot of taboo subjects and I think they've handled them really sensitively too. Sharyn Hodgson really acted her socks of in yesterday's episode, her speech at the end was a great moment. I'm also loving the whole story with Sandra and her parents. Granted she's not the best actress, but I think it's given us quite an insightful storyline and it is very dark. It really gave me goosebumps when we were overhearing Sam hit Kerry, and I thought that was a great shot because it totally captured what a child in that position would feel like. I was a bit disappointed with Ailsa's reaction when Sandra asked her for help, ushering her to leave the store.I can understand it obviously because she doesn't want to bring back memories but it would have been nice if she'd accompanied Sandra to the police station. I liked meeting Kerry's mum too. Has it always been a trend of Home and Away to delve into the lives of a complete family who are contracted as guests? I don't want to know but at this stage I'm starting to think that Sam might have something to do with all the bad things that are happening in Summer Bay. I'm starting to warm to Ben a bit more now. He wasn't as bad in the bay but you could see a mile off that the cliff-hanger was gonna be Ben finding photos of his father somewhere in the caravan. Celia's starting to annoy me. I don't understand why she thought Carly was out of line with her reaction when she went to Summer Bay House because she has caused the girl a lot of distress. I'm also starting to think she's a complete caricature because all she seems to do is gossip and I think the actress is great so I'd rather they did something good with the character.

Oh wow, lovely fan cards and a great reply from Lynne, Jamie. I'm so jealous that you've now got quite a few signed fan cards of Lynne now, I really wish I had her signed fan ard but I'm just as happy to have my one from Ray. I've had my fan ard and letter from Luke Mitchell framed, so I'll post a picture in a little while.

I really hope it's not taking a break, I know it'll be Christmas Day but I'll need my 'Early Years' fix lol Thanks for the info though.

I'm a virgin to these episodes too, Ryan. I'm really enjoying these episodes. In fact, I'd say there's only one thing wrong with them and that is that 7Two isn't airing at least two episodes a day. I think they're so awseome though, really really fun to watch. I was shocked to see it was Colleen's first episode today as someone had told me earlier on that her first appearance was in episode 38. However, I was pleased to see her and to me it's a funny thought that she turns out to be one of the Bay's most enduring residents. I do find it absolutely hilarious that she was introduced as a plot device to provide a town gossip for the show, and that's pretty much her function 21 years later. I still can't decide whether I think she's a legend or just a disaster though. She does make me laugh and her appearance today did make me smile. It was weird seeing her with such long hair! Anyway, as for the episode...that Sandra must go down in history as one of the worst guest characters in history, the scenes with her and Steven are very wooden, but he's not as bad as her though. I love that TPTB are really building up the community by having so many recurring characters and guests used when they're needed, i.e. the bitchy brunette at school, Nico, Sandra and her father, Colleen, Doris Peters. I'm not sure if I think it's entirely realistic how the teens would be behaving at school though. I thought Summer Bay was meant to be a fairly middle-class area, and I certainly know that at my school if someone had been raped the pupils wouldn't be disrespectful enough to bully the person about it. No compassion whatsoever, hey?!

Hi there! I just received a few things through the post so thought I'd share. I opened my first piece of post and it was the letter that I'd written to Lynne McGranger, and had the bottom she wrote the following thing: (my name's not Keith, don't know where she got that from! Just happy to get a response though lol) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b266/Eds...letterreply.jpg It's slightly difficult to see what she's written on the flier as it's in gold pen, but I'll post anyway http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b266/Eds...signedflier.jpg Then I opened the second piece of post to find a signed fan card from Ray Meagher. An unsigned fan card was underneath it and when I went to scan it I found a letter on the back of it. Silly me didn't think that he'd do that! But it's awesome! http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b266/Eds...gnedfancard.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b266/Eds...gnedfancard.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b266/Eds...agherletter.jpg

Oh wow, where did you meet him? He is truly gorgeous, I bet you enjoyed the experience!
-
You're waiting for quite a few too then... If Holly and Tim reply, are you expecting signed fan cards from Home and Away or did you enclose their old fan cards? I can't wait to see what you get

Axle looks so dam hot in his card I can't actually believe it. He's quite photogenic, if he actually shaved on the show I think he'd be really hot! Who else have you written to Jamie? Have you written to anyone but not received any replies? I'm waiting on virtually the entire cast, but I'm not hapeful I'll even get a response. I think the only people I haven't written to are Josh, Charlotte, and Jon. I'm also waiting for replies from Stefan, Matthew, Janet, Ashleigh, Will and Kaiya from the Neighbours cast! I might write a few more letters tonight. How much time would you leave between writing your first letter, them not replying and then writing again?
-
Good luck to everyone writing to Ray. Anyway, I've opened my letter and it's a few fan cards sent from the helpdesk. People will have seen them already I'm sure, but I'll post scans anyway:

I think when I think of the Early Years and just my general watching of the show I tend to think of the early yars, I am drawn towards the two main family groups from the first three years or so, after that the whole structure becomes slightly more fragmented, but I tend to think of some of those major arcs - though I don't really want to give them away. The episodes with Lynn at the centre, also Floss and Neville, almost feel like filler now in retrospect, because you know where they go to and also I know where the story goes to. I know what you mean - because I wasn't born until 1990 I obviously wasn't able to watch the early years of the show and have only been able to for the last ten years or so, but I must say because I know very little about those characters that you meantioned, I am actually intrigued to know what happens to their characters as I don't already. It's very unusual watching a show that you know what's going to happen in for the next twenty years. I'm also starting to appreciate what people mean when they regard orginal Pippa as the superior version. I don't know what I mean, but because I had only ever witnessed Debra's version I automatically preferred her, but now I'm starting to see why the oringinal portrayal of the character was so loved. Some of Vanessa's dialogue does seem a little wooden at times, but I think there's a fragility and softness to her that is very endearing. I admit I think she's a character that takes some time to get to love, but once you do start to like her, I think you do from then on. Just watched ep 32. That Ben is a right little brat. I thought it was funny when Floss was speaking to Scott on the phone and put a funny voice on. I was truly shocked at the end when I saw Carly coming home after hitching with that guy.

Hi there, I was wondering - did BTTB ever find out what happened to Helena Bozich aka Lynn Davenport?!
-
My mum just rang to let me know that I've got a new fan card in the post. I can't open it until tomorrow though because it was delivered to my home address and I'm not leaving uni until tomorrow so I have to wait till then to find out who it is. From what other posters have told me, and my general knowledge I've narrowed it down to Colleen, Rachel, Xavier, Gina, Ruby and Morag. My guess is going with Colleen although I did only send her the letter a few weeks ago.

I wrote to Lincoln via the Seven address and he hasn't replied yet...I'd love a card of his though
